Guest Reviews
- Kate (9/5): -
- Dennis (10/5): - Lovely hotel Nothing
- David (10/5): Very good - Very good and clean No lift
- Kevin (9/5): - All staff were very personable and helpful. Very good rooms, food and location
- mark (8/5): Great place but bathrooms a little small. - Great location and really good breakfast I found the bathroom very cramped and burnt my arm on the towel radiator while sitting on the toilet due to lack of space.
- Keith (9/5): A god break i - Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would prefer a buffet style breakfast as I am not a big eater of cooked breakfasts. The continental selection however was very good.
- David (9/5): So nice to stay where every member of staff was friendly, efficient and professional. Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay - Location
Decor
Ambience
- Giorgi (9/5): Lovely, cosy, historic - Room is designed in victorian style,
beds are very comfortable, coffee table is well staffed, breakfast quite generous and decent, location is close to castle and old city.
Very helpfull and suppirtive staff. Building is hystoric, very old, so in some areas you may heas squeeky wood, but that adds some sense of ""old England"".
And some peacocks from castle who are roaming in yard and starting their call out at 0600AM.
So generally, there is not much I can write here.
Hotel is just excellent and "must go"
- Helen (10/5): A wonderful stay in a great location with good food and great service - We booked two rooms and both were very well appointed, beautifully decorated and with a good array of facilities. The welcome was warm and relaxed, there were small treats and features that showed this hotel goes that little bit further in making you feel very welcome. There is nothing I can comment on here.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Hotel was fantastic. staff was excellent. Couldn’t wish for a better location. Everything about this hotel is wonderful. Can’t express who everything about this hotel is exceptional. Fantastic location had the most wonderful stay
- nick (10/5): The perfect stopover. - The Warwick Arms has undergone a good and sympathetic makeover which has greatly improved the property . Although part of a chain the hotel has list none of the personal touch and being in the centre of historic Warwick makes for a fantastic base for tourists looking to ‘do’ Shakespeare Country .
- Lisa (10/5): -
- Fran (9/5): Relaxed , friendly and would def recommend - Love the decor and friendly Nothing
- James (10/5): - Staff all very nice and welcoming Breakfast small so over priced
- Jane and Pat (10/5): Lovely refurbished old hotel - Lovely refurbished old hotel in a great location No lift ( but can understand why not)
- Ngu (10/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): The Warwick arms was a lovely comfortable stay would definitely recommend this place. - The staff were all very happy and polite.
Room was lovely and very clean. Not being able to get parked in the hotel car park
- Ian (10/5): -
- Michael (9/5): Excellent - Nice touches in bedroom
Great location
Good breakfast All good
- Seabourne (9/5): Perfect location, friendly staff, great room and facilities. - Location excellent. Bar only serving until 11pm due to licensing restrictions
- Michael (10/5): A very welcoming hotel - The hotel was very clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and were always available to help. The hotel room was small but adequate for our needs for the 2 nights. Nothing to complain about
- Dwork1 (3/5): - Clean and comfortable Came back from the wedding reception and was locked out, called the number posted on the door to be let in but after 30 min of calling no one answered so I had to find other options for accommodation. When I came back in the morning, I asked about it and was told he must have been in the back and didn't hear the phone.
- Jon (8/5): Perfect - Great fittings - tastefully decorated and furnished. Comfortable stay. Wonderful breakfast. Noise insulation wasn’t great
- Tao (10/5): A wonderful stay with a stunning view of Warwick Castle directly from the room - The hotel very kindly arranged a room on a higher floor, with natural light from two sides. Most importantly, I could see Warwick Castle directly from the bed. It was especially beautiful to watch the castle change colours with the daylight, which is something you cannot fully experience during a daytime visit. This stay gave me a deeper and more complete appreciation of this historic heritage site. For this alone, staying here was absolutely worth it.
In addition, the front desk staff were very thoughtful and helpful, and the overall stay was very pleasant.
- Joan (10/5): -
- Ekaterina (10/5): - Room 101 was exceptionally good!
- Jeff (9/5): -
- David (10/5): - Great value for the money, exellant food and friendly helpfull staff. Pillows on the bed could have been better but thats the only thing.
- Annemarie (8/5): Only for the meal it was a superb stay. - Lovely hotel and staff are super friendly! Beds are sooo comfy. Food, evening meal wasn’t very nice, the steak frites smelt and tasted nasty.
- Griffiths (10/5): Short stay in Warwick - Very nice hotel in a great location. Very comfortable stay, staff were friendly and helpful, spotlessly clean room and facilities and great value for money. S
- Chris (10/5): Excellent stay - Great facilities all round
- ADRIAN PAUL (9/5): Great location. Ok for vfm - Location was brilliant All good
- Nicola (10/5): Location was great really nice staff very clean comfortable bed - Fantastic location clean lovely decor . Nothing
- Andrew (10/5): Enjoyable Warwick - Excellent decor and in a great position. My room was well appointed with a coffee machine with pods and a very comfortable bed. My only gripe was that the light in the room was poor so I couldn’t read my book. I mentioned this at reception and they are installing stronger bulbs.
- Jessie (9/5): -
- To (8/5): -
- Anthony (9/5): An excellent hotel in a great location blessed with friendly and helpful staff - Comfortable bedrooms - excellent public rooms -very pleasant staff - good car parking on site Nothing
- Gillian (10/5): Everything was great. Smart hotel serving lovely food and very friendly staff. - Great location. Smart hotel, lovely evening meal and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing to dislike.
- lisa (10/5): Very good ,but needs a good manager to maintain a good level of staffing - The only thing that let the hotel down was the food , we had 3 meals and for me not a great standard. We ate on the Friday night, my dinner was cold has was my breakfast. Breakfast on the Sunday morning was very hectic and it seemed short staffed
- Richard (7/5): -
- Christine (8/5): Family get together made better by accommodating nothing too much trouble staff . - Friendly staff and excellent location Nothing
- Kelly (10/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): Quirky Rooms & Immaculate! - Everything! Location superb. Staff really friendly. The room was immaculate including the bathroom. Quirky room, designed very well. Bed was super comfy. Shower gel, hand soap and shampoo all provided - proper posh bottles ! Tea, coffee, water and biscuits all complementary. Would highly recommend this hotel. Not a bad word to say! Nothing!
- Amanda (9/5): A great place to stay - Very clean , very comfortable - a beautiful old building and lovely staff
- Anthony (9/5): Great stay - Staff were friendly and very efficient.
I was welcomed by Grace on reception who was extremely helpful.
- Pete (10/5): -
- Francine (10/5): - Just a 10 minute walk to Warwick Castle. Friendly and clean plus nice food too.
- Julia (10/5): -
- Sarah (7/5): Lovely hotel in heart of attractions. - Great for local attractions. New refurbishment and the hotel looks really nice. Street power cut led to new boiler breaking and no hot water or heating for a day and night. Not good if gone for weekend. Not directly hotel fault but did spoil a nice break. Also, needs more parking spaces.
- Ellen (10/5): -
- Guy (9/5): -
- Sophie (10/5): -
- Cristina (10/5): -
- Leuty (9/5): - Beautiful decoration throughout and all clean and well cared for The food could have been better, although i am being picky. Nothing bad and perfectly edible, but eggs in benedict were not runny, onion petals were just onion rings with extra batter and we weren't served our courses at the same time for starters or breakfast.
- Samantha (8/5): Fantastic short stay, lovely inn, great location. - Excellent location, lovely staff, comfortable family room. Small details, lighting was a bit complicated. No view out the windows. Two sets of towels left for a family of four booked into a family suite.
- Jenny (10/5): -
- Francis (10/5): A great place to stay for a couple and lovely dog. - The room was clean, tidy and well furnished, with good space for the dog's bed. The shower room was clean, tidy and more than adequate for a comfortable stay. We were very appreciative of the ground floor location and access to the courtyard. the dining facilities were very good, and we enjoyed the excellent breakfasts and evening meals.
In summary, this will be our place of choice when visiting Warwick again. No dislikes.
- jacquio544 (10/5): Best nights sleep - Wonderful hotel, extremely comfortable and quiet room. Decorated to a very high standard. Top notch tea and coffee facilities in the room, dog was welcome. We had the best stay and nights sleep.
- matthias (9/5): -
- john (8/5): Lovely hotel and location but very limited car parking - Location, friendly staff, smart hotel. No parking
- Robert (8/5): - Everything except the room size, which could have been a little larger. Slightly small room.
- Hardy (9/5): - Very big hotel. The breakfast was nice.
- Elaine (10/5): -
- john (7/5): -
- Mark (9/5): Great day at the castle, comfortable hotel for the evening couldn't ask for more - The location of the hotel was perfect, it was very clean and tidy, staff were very polite and friendly. We were pre warned that the car park was first come first served, ended up having to park in the public carpark at West Rock which made me nervous. Fortunately my car and emblem survived the evening.
- Philomena (10/5): -
- Frank (7/5): Comfortable and stylish - It is stylish and well decorated. Staff helpful . Food and drink not up to rest of hotel not enough choice and gaps in the menus.
- Amanda (10/5): Beautiful bedrooms - Beautiful bedroom Breakfast was disappointing and took a while
- OldBear (10/5): Superb Hotel Stay and Wonderful Staff. - We stayed on a 2 night BB&EM offer staying in a Superior room. Our room was accessed from the rear car park, one of four rooms and only 10 yards from the rear hotel entrance. It was very comfortable and had a walk in shower, however the room above needs some soundproofing as we were disturbed by the noise and walking around over creaking floors.
Our meals included two courses and a bottle of wine each evening, and a cream tea on any day.
Service was very good, all staff were friendly, polite and very efficient.
Daisy served us both nights in the restaurant and was most helpful in arranging a table for 6 on our second night. Sheila on our second night was also most friendly and efficient. Our meals were well prepared and served piping hot and extremely delicious. Breakfast was most pleasant with a good selection of fresh food, I loved their croissants!
The manager James was very personable and engaged with many guests and assisted in serving food and drinks in the bar and lounge area, a great ambassador for the Coaching Inn group.
The hotel is lavishly decorated with quality furnishings and plenty of seating which make this an outstanding place to eat, drink and stay. We were fortunate enough to be able to use their car park.
I would highly recommend it and would return again. Great value for money.
- Andrei Constantin (8/5): -
- martynSussex (10/5): Lunch delight - Lovely lunch with my wife. Highly recommend the lamb. Friendly staff and good wine list.
- johncar56 (10/5): What a difference - Decided to give The Warwick Arms a second chance for afternoon tea. What a difference it was to our original visit. The staff, including the hotel manager, were extremely friendly and the place itself decorated to a very high standard. The big difference was the food which was delicious and could not be faulted. Even the scones were warm from being freshly baked. Would we go again, yes!
- jettae2026 (4/5): Booking system needs adjustments - Booked a table via the online booking system on 26/12/2005 for the Festive Menu for 2 people on 27/12/2025 at 13.00 hrs. Booking accepted.
Arrived at 13.05 and was advised there would be a delay due to a booking of 20 people at the same time. Not my problem. Was then advised that the Festive Menu was not available 😳. The booking system would appear to need a lot of improvement.
We ordered our food, that arrived at 14.30, 90 minutes after the booking time and not the menu we had booked for.
Sadly we won’t return
- Lynne (7/5): Close to Castle - The hotel is a few minutes walk to the castle & shops/restaurants. It was comfortable because we had a larger room, but our friends' room was tiny, & wouldn't be suitable for larger folks. The Restaurant areas are attractive & plenty of seating. I was surprised that in the Lord Nelson room, the bathroom has a very hot radiator right in front of you while sitting on the loo. You have to be careful not to burn your legs.
- Gary (10/5): Wonderful stay Thankyou - Location quality service and brilliant staff along with comfortable room Squeaky floor boards in room above
- Rhigresford (10/5): In a word, perfect - The hotel is perfectly placed to explore this gorgeous little town. The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully presented and absolutely spotless. The food is lovely. We had lunch and breakfast but the dinner menu was also really tempting. N/A
- Sharon (9/5): - The location was great
- Mandy (10/5): Absolutely amazing the staff went over and beyond the place was sparkling clean and the attention to detail was incredib - An amazing place to stay, exceptional in every way. There was nothing not to like it was perfect
- bobleather (8/5): Pre Concert meal - Had a meal before going to the nearby St Mary's to watch a Jersey Boys tribute band, had a lovely meal hot and tasty ,lovely welcoming staff all washed down with a lovely IPA would definitely recommend it ,reasonable prices too
- Nicola (10/5): Lovely stop over - lovely breakfast - Fantastic pub/ hotel - clean friendly and comfortable - room was a squeeze but adequate for a 1 night stay Nothing - fabulously decorated and comfortable
- jamiesB784DS (10/5): Delightfully relaxed - Have just spent 2 nights at the hotel,
Tastefully decorated and very relaxed stay with very friendly and attentive staff.
The hotel is perfectly located with a short walk to the castle.
James and his staff are doing a wonderful job.
- Elizabeth (9/5): A great Place to Stay - The breakfast was excellent Nothing
- Michael Patrick (10/5): Excellent - The staff were wonderful
- Judith (9/5): - Excellent location.
Friendly efficient staff.
- Matt (9/5): -
- David (10/5): -
- Jen (9/5): Excellent short stay - Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Lovely interior design. Excellent breakfast. N/a
- Walker (10/5): Lovely stay and very enjoyable even if the visit was for work purposes. - The breakfast's were wonderful, staff friendly and the rooms very comfortable. Love all the coffee and tea facilities in the rooms also. No, all good.
- Lou7043 (10/5): Lovely Afternoon Tea - I booked an afternoon tea for 6 people to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. The food was great, we were under no pressure to leave once we had finished and there was a lovely team of staff on duty who made us feel very welcome.
- James (9/5): - Furnishings, the feel, the service, the food Parking.
- V8364KBlouisec (10/5): Gorgeous cream tea - Lovely cream tea, fantastic! Only got one meat sandwich and the rest vegetarian, could do with half meat but nevertheless beautiful hotel and delicious food. Highly recommended.
- Gallagher (10/5): Comfortable with character - Great location, charmingly upgraded, very helpful staff, beautiful dining room.
- Quite (9/5): - The bar area and decor. The fact the bar closed early for a Saturday, even foe residents, i.e., before midnight in a city centre location.
- Vicki (5/5): - Friendly staff, good location Not enough staff in restaurant- service slow both at dinner and breakfast
- Kerry (9/5): -
- Jo (10/5): The room was worth the extra - The location was perfect as it was in easy access of everything. You could see the castle from some of the windows. We parked in the back car park with no issues, which was free. The decor and facilities of the hotel are lovely, there are some great quirky designs, but it suits the old building. The room I booked was one of the larger ones, it was the Lord Nelson, it was large, had great facilities and the bed was amazing. I would go back just for a great nights sleep. The show was good and the shampoos etc were high quality. Also loved the touch of a duck in the shower and a note from House keeping, wishing us a good stay. Down in the bar there is a good selection of wines and beers, but a large wine and Guinness was £19, but it was good wine. We didn’t eat at the hotel, as there is a good selection of nearby restaurants. Everything was great
- Jane (10/5): -
- Susan (8/5): -
- Alistair (10/5): a lovely quiet break in an exception friendly hotel - an excellent very clean and spacious room too many stairs, not used to them as we live in a bungalow
but soon got used to them
- Margaret (9/5): Excellent room, facilities & service from staff - Staff - nothing seemed to be too much trouble, they went the extra mile.
Room - was excellent. Spacious, comfortable with everything I could need (en-suite was excellent)
Breakfast wasn't as extensive as I thought it would be but the food was good.
Excellent facilities My room was off a lovely courtyard which was cobbled but there was a path through the cobbles. However some guests in the restaurant/hotel parked over this path not only forcing other guests to walk over the cobbles but having to squeeze between the cars.
