Comfortable bed
Friendly staff Fridge in room iced up. Couldnt close door or keep food cold.
- Vicenthia (8/5): - Family Room is very spacious for family of 6. Got plenty of space for my 3 year old to roam around. Good value for money especially with a free breakfast.
- Kate (9/5): -
- THOMAS (6/5): Adequate. - The location was decent. Staff quite nice. I left my trainers and they called me and kept them for me behind reception. I think it was a little expensive for a motel where you don't get your own private bathroom.
- Helen (8/5): We enjoyed our stay, and if we could have a bigger room we would definitely stay there again - The Location is fantastic, the room was basic, however it was clean We just felt that the room and bathroom were a bit cramped
- Annette (7/5): Great location perfect for what we needed - Location
- Guest (1/5): -
- WANG (10/5): -
- Christopher (3/5): Good location but 1 star facilities - Location The mattress was barely there and the noise at 3am was terrible
- Georgia (9/5): -
- Dearna (4/5): Disappointed not worth the money - Location Room was old and some of the lights did not work.
The room was difficult to find and there was a lack of lighting outside.
The room was in desperate need of updating and the floor was uneven
The door did not lock properly
- Esther (1/5): They refused to let my son stay in the room I booked - never recommend the place - Nothing - they refused my son a room because he didnt have the credit card that I paid and booked the room with Staff were very unfriendly and uncompassionate
- Joseph (6/5): -
- Lara (7/5): Great location with welcoming staff - Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good. This lodge is within very easy walking distance of the city and restaurants in North Adelaide. Revellers coming home around 3am will wake you up. The sound certainly does travel in this lodge
- Vincent (9/5): - Pour une nuit c'était très bien
- Lal Pek Sanga (10/5): -
- Christine (10/5): -
- Denis (2/5): - Location Dirty old room needs a paint. Single bed. Never cleaned. TV is old and doesn't work. One A/C old works sort of.. the other doesn't. The curtains were filthy.
- Samuel (9/5): -
- Ellard (7/5): Well after travelling on the bus for 5 hours and not receiving my check in details. To then having to call the after hou - Property was clean and very comfortable. Very easy access for me to get to the hospital for appts.
- Bo (10/5): -
- Tara (8/5): -
- Edward (8/5): - Excellent location, close to CBD, shops on O'Connell Street, Excellent Bakery on Tyne Street, Close to RAH for medical appointments. Unfortunately we had to leave early for our 4 Hour drive home, should have arranged for early breakfast, My fault.
- Karen (8/5): -
- Sandra (4/5): -
- Caroline (10/5): Wishing to come back again soon - Everything we need is perfect Don’t worry everything is good
- Debra (5/5): -
- Jouni (8/5): - Nice location next to a park and close to North Adelaide restaurants. Limited selection with breakfast.
- Mathew (9/5): -
- Sandra (8/5): Overall good property at reasonable price in good location. - Attractive property with view of the park. Included breakfast had plenty of variety in juice, cereal and toppings for toast.
Room was a good size and comfortable, with many extras. Would stay at this motel again. The room could have been closer to bathroom. Would have liked lower volume on TV.
- Desire (7/5): - The old main building is just gorgeous! You can really feel the history there and imaging walking around in your ball gown The overall look of the Garden and old carriage house were we slept. Old carpet, not wel maintained, a mess in the garden. Thought that was such a waste and shame.. if it were my property I would have done that better to keep the old feel...
- Julie (7/5): convenient for my overnight stay - location was great for my needs, easy after hours access, continental breakfast included ensuite bathroom very small, but ok
- Michael (5/5): -
- Barona (7/5): - Il personale molto accogliente La lavanderia
- Ross (5/5): Would not return or recommend - Location opposite parkland is good, building is 120 years old and needs lots of work. Room very small and grubby, we managed to change after 2 night to a better one,. Overall premises are tired and needs lot of tlc, price we paid did not match room quality at all,. Breakfast ok but minimal, cereals, toast etc serve yourself
- Donna (10/5): - Breakfast, lovely staff,
- Rachel (7/5): Great location, comfortable beds - Fantastic location with free continental breakfast. Comfortable beds. Tiny bathroom. Very squeezy to get between the door and the hand basin to reach the toilet, then you bang your head or knees when you sit down. No bathmat or hand towels provided, only 2 bath towels. Only one tiny round UHT milk in fridge, not enough for one person. I've stayed here many times in the past and there's always been a bathmat, hand towel and UHT milk.
- You (10/5): - Nice and clean
- Ann (6/5): - Happy welcome greeting, breakfast options suited me, ample food. Creaking floor boards, curtains shabby.
- kahlia (7/5): Quiet, older style cosy, on the outskirts of the city with a slight country vibe. - The bed was super comfy, the complementary brekkie was handy and convenient and great set up, staff were very welcoming and nice. Location is perfect for being in the city but without all the noise, room was clean, older style aircon but worked amazing (never can beat the old ones) will definitely stay again. Bathroom although was clean was a little bit run down, opened the window for ventilation for a shower but other people going to their cars could see right in when it was opened...when flush the toilet did noticed abit a water leaking down the back and then seen the water damage in the tiles...but all in all was ok, would stay again though, I would like to see an upstairs room next time for the view.
- Robert (5/5): Good location, I would stay again but not in the Coach House rooms if they are what I experienced - Thankyou and special thanks to the staff member who went and checked that my room was locked after I called the emergency phone number. Spiders in the room. I found 6 Daddy Long legs spiders. behind the bed and the corner of the northside of the room and near the air conditioner.
TV did not have reception for channels 7, 2 and 10. I probably wouldn't stay in a Coach House room again.
Very hard at night to see the code to push on the door to enter the Coach House !
- Suzzanne (10/5): -
- Aston (8/5): - The location is in close proximity for Adelaide Oval.
Pricing is very reasonable.
Staff are really friendly and helpful. It is a little dated, other than that, no probs.
- Matthew (8/5): A lovely clean, well-appointed room, in a hotel full of delightful 'olde-worlde' charm. -
- Peter (8/5): -
- DAYNE (10/5): -
- Lauren (8/5): -
- Adrian (7/5): -
- Alyssa (7/5): -
- Gary (7/5): - Clean and great location A bit noisy, windows need double glazing and doors need soft closers
- Steven (5/5): -
- Ann (7/5): Well located property in a lovely old building although interior dated. Comfortable for one night. - Great location for my purpose. Easy to check in and out. Big comfortable room in a lovely old building with all required amenities (communal ironing board available, hairdryer on request). Nice little balcony. Basic breakfast. Quite dated. Reasonable cleanliness but maybe harder to clean because dated. Could still keep lovely features despite modernisation
- Ian (7/5): -
- Ian (8/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): -
- Andrew (7/5): Good value, get what you pay for - Good spot and good value A little tired but to be expected as a big old converted mansion.
- shane (7/5): -
- Sam (5/5): Bed was comfortable but probably won’t stay again. - Location was good Nothing like I expected. Run down and bathroom was way too small.
- Mark (10/5): -
- Bevan (7/5): ok - TV had no sound, very hard to know how to use remote. Located volume button no difference. Should be a book of instructions.
No working fan in bathroom.
- CARMEL DOUGLAS (8/5): -
- Craig (8/5): Really enjoy staying at the Princess. A lot to do within walking distance. - I have stayed before and love the place and location. The loop bus makes it an ideal site for city access. Space around the bed was tight to get past from one side of the roon to the other.
- Karen (1/5): I booked a room and they canceled it before I got there - Nothing Everything
- Elliott (10/5): -
- Jennifer (8/5): - Old style charm Nothing
- Mark (8/5): -
- Mohammed (6/5): I was not feeling comfortable. - Dear Concerned, I faced a problem with the wash room. Washroom situated out the room of corridor. It was a privacy problem with the family. The room was not cleaned every day. Secondly, front desk support is not available . One staff member was available from 0800LT ' 1700LT. Breakfast is ok but limited and the same menu every day.
- jo"s hospital visits (4/5): unprepared. 1cubic meter - Location is excellent, it is on the free bus, and the food is good. We love who's Harry on Melbourne St. the owner was unprepared for us.
I asked for a ground-floor room. Instead, we had been booked upstairs. It costs us more money. I was told my request to have a downstairs room was due to my inability to walk up stairs. Charged me an extra $140 for my room
- Peter (7/5): -
- Peter (8/5): - Location is good. Easy walk to buses to the city. Room 10 wouldn't be good in winter but other than that it's good.
Under flight path was an early concern but no issues.
- Tony (7/5): -
- Lesley (5/5): -
- Bernie (4/5): Despite the good location and breakfast, the room’s maintenance and comfort issues made the stay dis - We enjoyed the breakfast, which included cereal, peaches, toast, juices and coffee (aal you can eat). The location was very convenient, with restaurants a few streets away and a park right across the road. The free onsite parking was also a major benefit for us. The bed was unfortunately very soft and uncomfortable, and the window rattled all night on the first night until we managed to stop it in the morning. The air-conditioner was noisy, and the room in general could use some major maintenance. We stayed here once before and that room was better, which is why we decided to give the place another chance, but this stay wasn’t quite the same.
- Tan71 (8/5): - Its an old building...few back rooms need redoing, but its comfortable n has everything you need for a quick stay if you need. Mosquitoes in our room..woke up with few mossy bites.
Hot water takes a long time to come through.
- Josephine (8/5): - Good location. Toilet and bathroom were in another room.
- Astrid (4/5): -
- Earl (8/5): -
- Guest (10/5): Suited my needs - Convenient It is getting dated
- Stephen (9/5): -
- Kevin (9/5): Very good friendly staff - Convenient location Window screen needs minor repair room 11. And maybe bath signs on bathrooms.
- Valentyna (8/5): -
- Andrew (9/5): Great value short, overnight business stay in ADL - Flexible, helpful staff
Breakfast basic but very good
Bed well made and clean.
Facilities "old style" but functional, clean, secure and welcoming Lots of things could have been more modern, but the room was a generous size and functional, and GREAT VALUE
- Danielle (4/5): - Location and breakfast Extra blanket had hair all over it and had clearly not been washed. Internet not working the first night.
- Zoe (2/5): Run down, over priced, smelt, ditty $179 for crap - My fault I should have read the description and looked at the motel before I booked. I paid $179 for a run down room with a dodgy windows and door and a craooy bathroom across the hall. Never again Didn't like any of it
- Pier (8/5): - Erg mooi hotel en hal in een fraaie groene omgeving.,voor en achter. Zeen rustige buurt en toch op loopafstand van veel restaurants. Erg verouderde kamer achter die mooie gevel. Simpel ontbijt.
- Guest (9/5): -
- David (5/5): - Convenient location Small and old
- Santanu (6/5): -
- Michael (10/5): surprisingly good value for money: very close to the city: set among fantastic - Aged property but Immaculate:easy parking, clean and tidy all good
