Guest Reviews
- Peter (10/5): Hidden Gem in Rural Wiltshire. - Staff very welcoming and our room very comfortable - biggest bed I've every slept in.
Great to see a restaurant so full, especially in such a rural area, but you can understand why - the food was excellent with service to match.
Breakfast in the attached Coach House was substantial and set us up well for our Garden Tour at nearby Bowood House.
An all-round hidden gem which deserves and appears to be doing very well. Well done. Nothing at all. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

- gary (10/5): Lovely stay at a fabulous hotel. Brandon and Matteo were fantastic. Room very comfortable and food was amazing. We defin - Everything from location, rooms and food Nothing
- Edgar (9/5): Comfortabel stay on our way through - Very nice room restaurant pleasant and good food The hotel is on a busy road, my room was facing this. Friendly staff but no real contact.
- Timothy (9/5): Will stay again. - Everything was excellent. Bedroom was very warm over night. Will switch off the radiator next time 😉
- Thomas (8/5): -
- Stephen (8/5): Excellent - Decor , food, staff all around lovely hotel Only things id point out was the check out time being 10.30am and breakfast being 9am - 10.30am.
Ideally checkout should be 11am. This gives guests a chance to get up and enjoy breakfast.
- Anita (9/5): - The Hotel, staff and meals were excellent. We had a problem with our room which was dealt with straight away once they were aware. Would certainly return. Breakfast was ok but not as expected. Choice very limited.
- Scott (10/5): I'd stay again. - Great service, comfortable room with good room service and menu selection. Location was good for my needs. I was on a business trip and would have liked access to an earlier breakfast. There were options within tolerable driving distance.
- Mark (10/5): - Excellent room polite and professional staff

An older property so very boutique, don’t expect a chain hotel type room.

- Christine (10/5): A jewel of.a.place hiding in plain sight - The welcome was friendly and check in efficient. The room was delightful - room 3. The evening meal was simply delicious and very fairly priced. Breakfast was tasty and filling and all you needed. Good quality bacon. The little shop had lots to tempt for early Xmas presents too. We wish the business all the best, will recommend to everyone we know and will be back soon.
