Lovely staff, nice location and a market and club just across the road. Been back since and can see it’s still not reopened, if I had the money it would be me reopening
• 719lks (8/5): Good - Such a shame this hotel closed down. I've come to fuertventura this week its not been for ages. Found this hotel again on our walks. Its was a lovely hotel when we came in 2013. Great pool near to everything. Hope it re opens its just left to go derelict.
• davidcQ8465PV (2/5): Why buy a complex and leave it to rot - The new owners of this complex closed all the restaurants and bars that were attached to it, I would suppose by cancelling their lease. There seems to be a few privately owned apartments but mostly it is empty and rather badly maintained. It has now been like this for many years and is a bit of a blight on the centre of Caleta. I don't think anyone is actually renting property there. It must be some sort of property investment as it no longer seems to be getting run as a holiday complex. I would be very wary of booking there if it is even possible.

I’ve heard it’s still the same now June 2023. There are a few properties and x restaurants insame condition nearby. Like the old Aberdeen steakhouse, falling down dangerous eyesore

As for drinks , expect a long queue and little choice,also beer is given in either small plastic or paper cups, remember the TV advert where they blew up Butlins, before modernization,this would be a good idea for this complex as the accomodation is extremely tatty ,would rate at one star
• michelleeO7116EI (2/5): Bad hotel - Never have I stayed in a hotel this bad . No Wi-Fi in rooms no air-conditioning in the rooms . Old and dated furniture . Mattress hard as ever . Let’s not get to the tv have to pay to watch tv £4.50 euros a night . If you want to rent the fan from the main reception £10 euros deposit. Went all Inclusive the food was atrocious . Was eating out everyday . On the good side the safe are very friendly.please avoid the hotel to old and dated get with the 21st century .
• K6950DKjohnm (6/5): Fly by - Ok the part we stayed was just up from reception with green windows & door, no air conditioning and the beds were hard, no hair dryer or iron but u can rent as well as safe. Place can do with a refurbishment like new furniture and so on but for a short stay it's fine.
• sarahcL7375UB (2/5): The only thing that is positive is the location - We stayed here Christmas 2019. Oh dear ! Its our own fault because we were on a budget and you do get what you pay for. We only had breakfast in the hotel the first morning - and that was our first and last meal in the place. We went out of the hotel first thing in the morning and came back late at night only to sleep in our room. The room was dark damp and dirty with cockroaches, pretty much sums up the whole hotel.
• Holidaylover9212 (10/5): Stayed for a week - Decent hotel needs a bit if doing up but had a good room and everyone was very friendly don't listen to the bad reviews it's cheap and in the middle of everything and there's San Miguel on draught! We loved the hotel food was good and edible if there wasn't anything you fancied the bar snacks come in handy we have now booked for 10 nights in Feb 21 for 8 of us
• 369kennetht (8/5): Great hotel - Stayed last year it was good so decided to go back . It is a bit dated but clean and tidy. Food was good snacks freshly made at bar were fine plenty choice for drink too. We had a pool view which was good. Staff are hard working special thanks to Laura at reception very helpful and Tony on the bar. It's a great location about 1o minutes from beach and lots of bars and restaurants on door step

Badly - Very basic hotel really needs upgrading, most of the staff lovely except one female staff at bar girl with glasses, never smiled and grumpy always looked like she didn't want to be there, other tall girl very pleasant as was Tony, food in restaurant small but food OK,, rooms and all hotel needs refurb,good location I have been to caleta de fuste 6 times this by far the worse hotel,had a good time as we met some good company,
• H9982LQchrise (8/5): Nice Jan break - Me and my partner decided for our 10th anniversary together to go away for a few days without kids etc. We picked this hotel based on cost but with all inclusive, bit of january entertainment etc. Overall considering it was a winter holiday abroad we had a brilliant few days there, there was a man called daha lehbib (he deserves a special mention because he was brilliant with us and a good laugh) he did the night time entertainment but also did a few daytime games so there was things going on most of the time. Its not the ritz but as a cheap good little place with all inclusive (and always found drink and food that i liked) its a good place to go. We also met a lot of friends there which was a bonus and made the few days better. Would definitely go back.

• CarolP3052 (6/5): Carol - First time in caleta de fuste...we had a studio ,ground floor..it was basic but adequate for our needs..tiny bathroom tho.pool area was always very crowded.. restaurant and pool bar staff were friendly but over worked.they never stopped..we were all inclusive.the food was fine if not a little bit repetitive and a little bit disorganized...we weren't spoilt for choice...couldn't understand some people greed tho as there was no need to over fill plates..overall had a really nice stay and would stay again.thankyou staff

Not enough room round pool for people in hotel, beds go quickly when unlocked. Food very samey each evening. We were on a cheap all inclusive deal and that is what this hotel offers, don't expect 5 star at 3 star price.
• 830siobhanm (2/5): Bad mannered receptionist - This hotel is ok for what you pay and we were happy enough with our stay until Coronavirus hit an emergency state in Spain. Our flight was cancelled & had to pay £800 to get home the following day. We ask the receptionist with the pony tail on the desk on Wednesday morning 18/3/2020 could we stay another night & she said no & told us to leave or she would call the police. No apologies or concern just rude & shrugged her shoulders. I have never come across anyone so bad mannered & doing her job badly. I fully understand the severity of the pandemic but to put people on the street where it was illegal to be is an act of inhumanity. Will not return & neither we anyone I know. I have travelled a lot and never came across such a bad level of basic care & manners.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Staff were great and rooms were very clean. Food was fine and there seemed to always be enough even if one had to wait a few minutes for things to be replenished. Downside was that overall the rooms and public areas were very tired and in need of complete refurbishment/replacement. Sunbathing areas not sufficient for numbers of guests, a large number of sun loungers need replacing, very few (like none!) outdoor areas available for non-smokers which meant one had to walk through crowds of smokers constantly.
• H3147NJdeborahs (8/5): summer - stayed from 8th-15th march with my husband, this was our 2nd visit to this hotel and once again we had a brilliant time just as we did the 1st time. yes the place needs updating but it is a 2star so get what you pay for. our room was spotlessly clean and really comfy beds, the hotel was clean everywhere cleaners work so hard. food is very tasty and I'm very fussy, yes it is a bit repetitive and we did find there wasnt the variety they had the 1st time we went but we do eat out aswell so not a problem, I highly recommend fado rock amazing place to eat. the entertainment is ok but we met loads of people in the hotel and had a great laugh we also had some nights out, we loved pieros, Nelson bar and slap & tickle. normally I would say I didn't want to go home but the hotel went into lockdown the day we left so was quite relieved we could get home. we would come back to this hotel, my daughter & her friends have booked for November. I hope the trouble they're having wont effect them too much and hope all the staff will be ok job wise, they all work so hard and are so helpful and friendly. once again another great holday
• 570diannev (4/5): You get what you pay for - Booked cheap flights and booked separately to stay here, due to it being cheap and in a good location. We thought we would just use as a base, and just have breakfast and a few drinks here. We thought 'how bad can it be?' The answer is 'quite bad'. The whole place is very run down, however the staff work incredibly hard and are pleasant and friendly. Breakfast is good. The other meals not so much, but we tended to eat out. If you are on really tight budget and want a holiday in the sun, this place is in a good location. If you can push your budget just a bit more per night, book somewhere else. We checked out on 14th March, the day that flights were cancelled and Spain went on lock down. All I can say is I wouldn't want to have been stuck in Caleta Garden for a quarantine period....7 nights there was enough for me.

Great location , near to shops , restaurants and beach. Big pool inside hotel and entertainment in hotel bar everyday. Fantastic!!!
• jwilli325357 (4/5): Paul M - lSecond and last visit to this place, if you have no regard for others dont mind rooms cleaned more than one a week staff that look like they are hating the roles and cockroaches in the rooms. This is the place for you considering whats going on in the world it was clear to see customers health or comfort was not a priority. It's a shame because my visit in november was a far better experiance and the location, food an drinks are fine. Make your own mind up I suppose I went at a busy time however I come from a background were customer service is king and unfortunatley this wasn't the case at celeta gardens.

• Alan (10/5): Better than expected - Stayed here 3 times years ago and the hotel is in need of an upgrade. It was clean and the food was better than we expected. The location is excellent. Close to the airport so no waiting around on transfers just jump in a taxi.
• mark (2/5): Avoid !! - This is possibly one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in , checked into room 141 and was disgusted with the smell and black damp on the ceiling and wall , no light coming in, when you open the patio door you was faced with a brick wall We complained so was moved to room 130 , which was just as bad , dark and unclean , couldn’t get a lounger around the pool as they was Queing up at 8:30am We was just appalled at the state of the hotel so we decided to check out and book some where nice and clean !

• Torben (8/5): Stort set positiv anmeldelse - Vi havde et dejligt ophold på Caleta Garden. Fantastisk mad, venligt og veloplagt personale, stor lejlighed, gode senge, rent, stor terrasse. Hotellet ligger i gåafstand til strand og tæt på busforbindelse. Hotellet ligger i bebygget område, hvor der er mange forretninger, barer og restauranter. Det negative: lejlighederne trænger til renovering. Vi skulle selv bede om rene håndklæder og toiletpapir efter to dage. Derefter kom rengøringen hver anden dag, hvilket var okay. Der mangler service ( tallerkner, oplukker, kopper mv) i køkkenet. Det koster penge at låne en el- kedel. Der er meget larm fra de omkringliggende barer og fra hotellets egne gæster ( primært fra Irland og England) . Husk ørepropper.

There was a black bag of rubbish in one of the corridors for the whole 24 hours we were there. There was a kitchenette with microwave and sink but hardly any kitchen ware. The furniture was old and worn. The location (i.e. the town) was downbeat, tired and tacky. We would never stay there again.

• Mandy (8/5): Anniversary week away - Stayed here for a week all inclusive.e mailed the hotel to ask for a high floor in a quiet part of the hotel and thats what we got but had to wait till 3.00.the food was good .the beer was good.the location was great right in the middle of the resort.this is a 2 star hotel no 3 4 or5 star please remember this and the money you have paid.overall had a very good week and would recomend you give it a try.great weather as well.

• Happy (8/5): - Food and staff absolutely excellent. Beyond expectations. Accomodation we had could do with an update which is happening to some rooms but bed comfy. Fabulous stay but too noisy for evening entertainment including guests that a hotel can never take the blame for. Went out elsewhere every evening as too loud. Swimming pool excellent and hotel always felt very clean although dated and shabby .

• carolyn (8/5): - The room we were given on arrival was near pool but very dark and dismal, we had one night but were moved to the 3rd floor which was excellent. Near to beach, restaurants and bars.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Very basic, the food is quite frankly poor - there is no real quality, inedible for parts. It's a shame as the location is great - easy access to the rest of Caleta de Fuste. It is also very noisy - at least, in the road-facing apartment we stayed in, with music often lasting until 5/5.30am from nearby bars. Disappointing to say the least, but not entirely their fault.

• Jonathan (8/5): Two night stay at Valentine's - We had a one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor with a large balcony facing north (getting late afternoon sun) which was away from main roads and the noisy pool area. Apartment really basic but very clean. Wasn’t overly keen on everyday food in restaurant, but meats cooked 'show cooking' style were good; overall for what we paid the All Inclusive was worth it for unlimited e.g. San Miguel, G&T, Guacamole Cocktails and Irish Cream. Special mention for the lovely Valentine's events laid on by the hotel which made our brief stay here really special. Only gripes were evening queues at the bar but the staff were fantastically efficient. Also some of the noise from adjacent karaoke bars from across the street. Nonetheless these are not directly a problem with the hotel. All staff in this hotel are cheerful and friendly but other than the bar queues after dinner and noise from midnight til 3am we enjoyed our stay and would come back again soon. As it's excellent value for money and a good central location, I would stay again for a cheap short break but no longer than 2 or 3 nights before a change of scenery to somewhere else. We had a room facing the front on the road, there was a pub/disco which pumped up loud music until 6am In the morning, no sleep whatsoever. • Verified traveler (8/5): You get what you pay for - Myself and my partner arrived on the 18th August hotel staff were on the ball very friendly welcoming info given about the hotel wristbands on couldn't do.enough for you. We were given room 104 which was on the main drag was very noisy asked at reception if we could change rooms no hesitation we were given room 132 very quiet and right outside the pool. Rooms very clean always got cleaned more or less everyday and clean linen. Good ok not the best need to be a bit quicker on service and need more staff. Excellent friendly bar staff. Plenty of bags and resturants on your door step little train for €2 each takes you to different places through the town. We had an excellent stay can't wait to come back.

• Elaine (8/5): Perfect for a good value, sunshine break - The hotel is basic but spotless. Rooms are spacious if a little tired. Food is good, you can always find something to eat. Staff are extremely helpful. If you keep in mind what you paid for your stay then its totally worth it. The pool is lovely. Very central to all restaurants, shopping and bars. 10 minute transfer from airport. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
• ashley (2/5): four nights were enough - Checked in and was offered a nasty little room below road level in the corner of the hotel . On enquiring if anything better was available the receptionist said there wasnt anything nicer available and the hotel was fully booked . There were not enough sunbeds , chairs available and the area around the pool was not sufficient for all of the guest. The overflow being the roof area. There was a constant flow of unhappy guests venting there issues at reception. The hotel seemed understaffed with all of the staff constantly firefighting. Amazingly the food was ok , with not a lot of selection but probably the best part of the all inclusive package .

• Brian (6/5): Good value hotel - Central location. Food was good. Sun beds padlocked until 10 o'clock so people hanging around waiting until then every day. Light in room blew on first night, informed reception straight away and several other times but still not repaired by the time we left after staying a week.
• Lord Gareth (2/5): Filthy, Dirthy, Unhelpful staff, sleep in your car - Never, ever again.. the hotel is like a prison landing, all bathrooms are interior with vents going in to the interior corridor. It stinks, it is putrid smelling. The balcony backs on to a wall at basement level, anyone walking past (hundreds per hour) are no more than 10 feet away looking down in to your room, so keeping the doors closed is a must for the people looking in, and kept open to clear the putrid smell of 100 other bathrooms after curry night.. In the UK this would be closed down as a health hazard. The food was very hit and miss, bad days were bad, (we ate out too often for all inc) the good days were average at best. We actually called hotels.com to try and get us out, the hotel refused a refund leaving us stuck their, for an extra 5 euro per day we could have a room upstairs with ventilation so it did not smell so bad. The staff were useless and unhelpful, would never ever return. I suggest staying anywhere else but here.. You have been warned.
• margaret (10/5): Lovely hotel - Close to the beach, close to shops very convenient, the staff could not do enough for you,they made you feel welcome and tried so hard to make you comfortable. All the staff were amazing, this hotel brought in a new manager 2 year's ago, and the improvements he has implemented in this hotel in that time is amazing, I must mention Herman on reception he was so obliging and really put himself out to make you comfortable in the hotel. We had an amazing holiday!!! Thank you all especially the restaurant staff especially Freddie!!!😎
• hilary (8/5): - second visit for us. absolutely love this place . the hotel is a little tired ( I prefer authentic) staff are welcoming and obliging , very friendly and helpful .clean comfortable accommodation, our poolside apartment was lovely .great variety of fresh food and super selection off all inclusive drinks. highly recommend this hotel as a perfect base for a perfect holiday . we will be back ! I have already recommended to several friends .
• Janette (2/5): What a Dissapointment - I suppose you can say you get what you pay for. Very disappointed as it was suppose to be a relaxing holiday for me and my husband but the hotel was more like a Sun (the newspaper) £9.50 caravan holiday. So many kids left running around the hotel unwatched by their Parents. No real entertainmentset up for kids just one poor guy trying his best He also tried sorting out some entertainment for evenings for children and adults but even then the kids were involved all night. Most places would have stopped kids at 9 pm but not here. As for bar OMG you had to queue at the one and only bar to get drinks as well as the kids getting ice cream tubs right up til 11pm and end of AI . Food was very very basic lots of frozen food not much fresh veg If you like chips then your set as not really any other type of potatoes served But I will say the quality of the meat at Meat station was very good. It said in description Snack food served at bar well all you had to choose from was Hot dog or toasted cheese and ham sandwich. Also on the bar you had a cocktail menu I was absolutely disgusted that you only had a choice of 3 cocktail others you had to pay for even then due to long queues the bar staff wouldn't make them As for the pool It was so small with not a lot of room around the sides and sun beds piled up in the evening and padlocked that some people actually payed their towels in the places they wanted to save for the beds, plus loads of inflatables 2weeks and didn't get a chance in pool
• Evo (6/5): Good central location. - Studio apartment was dated but adequate for all inclusive needs. Clean on arrival. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. The hotel does need modernisation and there was evidence of little bits being done. The restaurant was relatively full most of the time and I went whilst children in UK were at school. Cannot imagine how long you would have to wait when hotel at full capacity though. The food was v good for me. The hotel's location was brilliant and all the area around it was just about all flat so ideal for those less able. All in all a good holiday.
• me myself and I (6/5): 3* all inclusive accommodation - I stayed for one week on an all inclusive basis but that's not what Expedia had booked for me. I had to pay extra for all inclusive and sort the issue out upon my return. This is 3* accommodation and only just merits that. Rooms are clean and basic. There is a queue at 9:30am for sun beds which are available from 10am but beds are claimed by people and barely used. I never managed to get a bed and even just before 6pm when the pool closed I saw towels on beds which weren't being used! Children were allowed to play football in the lobby area at 11pm at night and also used the stairs and corridors as a playground regardless of the time of day/night. This isn't necessarily the hotels fault but the parents although the hotel security should stop this happening. The resort is nice and is clearly being developed especially the man made beach. Good choice of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

• Rachael (4/5): Disappointing - It took over an hour to check in and they tried to charge me an extra 105 euros but couldn't tell me why. I ended up paying 51 euros just to get in my room - it turned out they thought they might not get any money from Expedia. Although the hotel is central and the staff were quite nice and helpful after my check in disaster, there were a few too many cockroaches in my room. And no kettle. Priorities, people! The rooms really need updating - I could tell when my next door neighbours were turning over in bed, the walls were so thin and the beds so noisy. And anyone using the toilet nearby could be clearly heard.
• Not Provided (6/5): Misleading Advert - When I booked the advert said it was all inclusive , when I arrived I was told it was not, trying to resolve this at the hotel , and indeed with Hotels.com was extremely frustrating and with NO resolve
• marcrobo (6/5): You get what you pay for - As a cheap place to stay in a good location this place is ideal, if you are not too fussy on the little things. We stayed on a self catering basis, the room facilities were very basic, obvious things missing being a kettle and toaster these however are available as extras if you wish to pay for them. As is a fan for the room, annoying when there is a ceiling fan in place but with the fan blades missing. The security safe in the room was one of the most expensive to hire that i have found recently. There are not enough sunbeds around the pool for the number of rooms in the hotel, so there is a mad rush at 9am when the pool man unlocks them. Only for most people to then put their towels out and disappear for most of the day, very frustrating if you didnt manage to get a bed and actually want to use the pool. The was the first time for many years that i have been expected to pay for the use of the TV in the room, only one channel is available free (BBC world news) all the other channels have to be unlocked by paying $4.50 per day or $20 per week. The room was very compact especially the bathroom, the balcony had just enough room for a table and two chairs (one broken) and a clothes drier. However the staff were friendly and helpful and there was a 2 for 1 happy hour in the bar from 3 - 5pm and 8 - 10pm so that kept the non all inclusive guests happy for a while.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Hope it doesn't rain - It rained during the night, and ended up flooding our room which was on the ground floor. We had to vacate to another room on the 1st floor in the middle of the night. Poor maintenance was to blame!
