- kathyw703 (10/5): Lake Life at its best! - Gary and Sandra were ideal hosts and a very loving couple. There were many options to have fun on the lake with kayaks and canoe included. There was also a speed boat and pontoon available to rent. Leech Lake is an abundant fishing lake with all its bays. It was also a place to just rest and sit on the porch or out on the swing overlooking the lake. The coffee first thing at 7 that was fresh ground and with all the fixings was a great start to the day.

AND...her breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Our room on the second floor had a wonderful view of the lake and was comfortable, clean and quiet. The sunrises were spectacular. The first floor "gathering" area was also very welcoming and comfortable.

I had a very difficult day of flying and driving and Gary welcomed me in after midnight and made me feel right at home. It was exactly what I needed and where I needed to be after such a long and hard day. It felt like home and I slept so well. The next day Gary made me breakfast before my long drive back. I just wish I could have stayed longer and explored the outdoor areas. I would 100% go back. Thank You so much!!

The breakfasts were lovingly prepared and delicious. We enjoyed the morning conversations with Gary and Sandra and the other guests. We spent much time on the bike trails and were disappointed we didn't get time to take out the kayaks or canoes that were provided by the resort. Next time I guess as we will definitely be back. All around it was a 5 star weekend getaway. We highly recommend this B & B.

The hosts (Gary & Sandra) were extremely gracious and pleasant. If cost is a factor, we found it much more cost-effective than a hotel room. Many more pleasantries than a hotel can offer as well. The place is well kept, clean and comfortable. Also a delicious breakfast in the morning with other guests is very relaxing, and far better than the usual hotels version of breakfast. Would very much recommend this as a great place to stay and believe you will love your experience and feel like you met the ultimate hosts.

- michaellO2362CH (10/5): Hidden gym on “Golden Pond“ - Relaxing visit with incredible views and magnificent hosts Gary and Sandra. Exceptional breakfasts. I recommend taking out one of their boats to explore the lake and or go fishing. Ask for a room with the Lakeview it’s a few bucks extra but well worth it. The property is surrounded by hiking trails as well. The walls are a little thin, but they put white noise machines in the room so sleeping is not a problem overall the value for the money is outstanding. I hope to go again someday.

We went to MN to visit an ailing friend, whose condition worsened on our arrival. We weren’t able to see him until our last (3rd) night (at the hospital), but we were physically, mentally and spiritually fed and comforted by our wonderful hosts, Gary and Sandra. We also thank the otters in the lake for their entertainment.

We enjoyed the spacious layout of their home-large windows, gas fireplace, billiard table plus a puzzle nook in the communal space. Our room was cozy-enhanced by electric fireplace, private bath & sweet lake views. Communing at the breakfast table was an impressionable addition to our stay- Thanks again, Gary & Sandra!
- hadron81 (10/5): Wonderful little place on the lake. - Was looking for someplace to stay near walker and stumbled onto this adorable B&B. We were the only guests so Gary upgraded us to a room with an amazing view. The whole house is gorgeous and so well appointed and wonderfully decorated. Gary and Sandra are a wonderful couple and so welcoming. The room and bed were wonderful. They have a fantastic selection of movies to watch in your room and the setup is just perfect. Breakfast was amazing and we loved talking to both Gary and Sandra and hearing about their lives and their love for running the B&B. What an amazing experience!

The hosts Gary and Sandra were such great company with many stories to share.They were so gracious and the breakfast was fantastic. We can never say enough about this Bed and Breakfast.

Our hosts Gary & Sandra were so hospitable and accommodating (even invited us to their annual employee Christmas party while we were there). We enjoyed sharing our faith and families, while enjoying delicious breakfasts. The view was amazing from our warm and spacious room. Definitely will be a repeat for us down the road!

- Dylan (3/5): hosts are rude!!! - The heated sheets although a fire hazard. Everyone who ate the breakfast got sick, the host was rude and asked my fiancé if she was on drugs because she had just woken up, and insisted on her husband bringing my fiancé water because “she looks like she’s been drinking” it was 9am. she had been driving and had a long thanksgiving the night before and works nights she isn’t normally up around 9am regardless, she was tired. It was unacceptable behavior.

Their B&B is truly a hidden gem—a cozy, beautifully decorated house nestled in a tranquil location with breathtaking views from the window. We relished the serene nature, marveling at the swans and deer that graced us with their presence right on the terrace. Additionally, the breakfast was outstanding, delicious, and presented with the elegance of a five-star hotel.

- Nicole (8/5): Nice place, choose your room wisely - This was a lovely home with beautiful views of Leech Lake. It's a small bed and breakfast, and you will be greeted by the hosts. They live in the home. The interior of the home was very cozy and welcoming, and it's obvious the owners have worked hard to make you feel welcome. The only thing that we didnt like, and it is important, is our room was right next to the dining and kitchen and the owner was up early moving dishes and a lot of silverware(how much silverware do you have???). And also there was a lot of talking in the main areas between other guests, which we could hear in our room. So that sort of left a bad taste in our mouths for wanting to stay here again. Maybe some additional sound proofing could be done. The sunrise here is incredible. And we also appreciated the use of the kayak. We would have used the bikes if we had more time.

Either building codes there don't require it or the home is out of code when the baths don't have a vent fan. They have TVs in each room with a listing for the channels available, but it appears to be a listing that is out of date.

- Lynne (10/5): - Beautiful B&B on a quiet lake, just what I needed after driving 9 hours thru ND. Close (9 miles) to Walker where you can get dinner. I brought back my meal to eat on the patio that overlooks the lake. Then, laid on the hammock near the lake for relaxation top notch. That evening the Northern Lights were predicted and yes, what a nice capture- view thru the iPhone photos. In the morning got up to watch the sunrise on the lake to send me off again. Though I was not able to stay for breakfast, the menu and company would have been great.
