The therapists were highly professional, incredibly kind, and truly attentive to our wishes. You can feel that they work with genuine care and heart. We enjoyed both the Tibetan singing bowl massage and the warm oil massage. As a Reiki teacher, I am very sensitive to energy and I can clearly recognize when a space and practitioners work in a clean and balanced way. This is exactly what I experienced here. During the session, all my energy centers were gently cleared and re-energized through the sound of the singing bowls and the deeply regenerating massage. It was a powerful yet very calming experience. My husband, who is not an energy worker, also reached a state of deep relaxation and felt completely renewed afterward. The therapists have received professional training from a very experienced specialist who, interestingly, is also a Reiki Master. This clearly reflects in their mindful, intuitive, and professional approach. The hotel manager, Emanuelle, speaks about his team with great enthusiasm and appreciation, and it is easy to understand why. The care, professionalism, and warmth of the therapists make this spa truly special. We highly recommend SEN Spa Luang Prabang and will definitely return.

We were offered their version of afternoon tea, which not only looked pretty but was extremely tasty.

Beautifully decorated, very spacious room, great attention to detail (cookies left every day), superb new spa, wonderful breakfasts and great restaurant. The service was exceptional. I would rename this hotel - Le Zen (we felt immediately transported into a relaxed and peaceful oasis of calm as soon as we stepped foot into the hotel). The location is just a little outside the old town but this made no difference as there was a free shuttle service operated by the hotel which actually worked out very well and we hardly ever had to wait more than 5 minutes for a ride.

The food is EXCELLENT. I had a foot massage and my husband had a full body massage. Both were really nice. The spa is lovely. There is a gym, a pool, a van to transport you around, if needed. It is well located. Really liked this small boutique hotel.

The seamless communication via WhatsApp was fantastic, allowing me to contact the team instantly with any requests. The service extends everywhere. After a wonderful breakfast, Ning surprised me with a complementary massage one of my mornings, a truly thoughtful gesture! Golf was constantly attentive at breakfast, greeting me by name and even preparing a special takeout breakfast the morning I left early for Kuang Si Falls. Phon and Lily were also wonderful, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere every morning. The experience concluded perfectly thanks to Phat and Dao, who handled checkout with efficiency and grace. This level of detail, always being addressed by name, constantly taken care of, and frequently offered the shuttle, made my stay feel very welcoming. I was impressed by their commitment to the local area, which includes hosting community activities like a rotating run club and Pilates sessions, alongside their plans to open a fantastic new bar. The way Le Sen integrates is a really unique aspect of this hotel. A quick logistical note: While the service here is flawless, this is a beautiful tropical setting, so you might encounter a few mosquitos (as you would anywhere!). There was also the occasional blip with the Wi-Fi, but honestly, the staff was so wonderful and the atmosphere so relaxing, these were easily ignored. Staff is very friendly, the grounds are beautiful and breakfast from a menu. There is also an adequate workout room and small pool. It's a little ways from the old town, but they have bikes, which are perfectly adequate for the distance. I would definitely stay there again.

Besonderen Dank an Herrn Varn, der mir in freundschaftlicher Art sehr viel geholfen hat (Flug- und Bahntickets, Motorroller, Bank etc). Das Hotel insgesamt sehr gepflegt und sauber, geräumige und gemütliche, gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Sehr ruhige Lage! Sehr gutes Restaurant mit einem hervorragenden, breit gefächerten Frühstück (europäisch und lokal) und ebenso gutem Abendessen. Fitnesscenter, Swimmingpool und ganz tolles Spa, in dem ich von Frau Souk mehrmals mit (bis zu 2 Stunden dauernden) Massagen behandelt und verwöhnt wurde; wobei sie mich nicht einfach massierte, sondern die Massage mit Duftöl, Klangschalen, Glockenspiel geradezu celebrierte und dabei dank guter anatomischer Kenntnisse (bin selbst Chirurg) sämtliche Verspannungen beseitigte und mir ein völliges Wohlbefinden bereitete. Ich war bisher 3-Mal Gast in diesem Hotel und freue mich schon auf ein nächstes Mal. Allen Interessenten kann ich das Le Sen Boutique Hotel in Luang Prabang guten Gewissens sehr empfehlen. Nebensächlich: Die (kostenlosen) Leihfahrräder sind für etwas größere Europäer grenzwertig klein -trotzdem benutz-/fahrbar.

Spacious interior (mini suite which was on 1st storey, not getting any noise from the pool. Outstanding breakfast (lots of choice) and is included in room price. The wifi signals are not strong and unstable at times. There is nowhere to hang towels and bathrobes, not even for hand towels. The location is set amongst local shops and is a good 15-20mins walk to the Old Town, the French quarters and other sites. But the free shuttle service provided by the hotel is very handy.

- Kristin (9/5): Wunderbare kleine Oase in Luang Prabang - Ein wunderschönes kleines Hotel etwas abseits des "Trubels". Überaus freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr schön eingerichtetes, sauberes und großes Zimmer. Jeden Abend gab es eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit und das Bett wurde gerichtet. Besonders toll fanden wir das Frühstück, welches a la carte serviert wurde. Man konnte je nach Appetit mehr oder weniger bestellen und verschiedene Köstlichkeiten ausprobieren. Sehr schön war auch der Pool, auch wenn wir ihn wetterbedingt kaum genutzt haben. Wir hatten im November leider einigen Regen. Bei Sonnenschein ist der Pool mit den Liegen eine wunderbare kleine Oase. Sehr praktisch und zuverlässig war der Transferservice ins Stadtzentrum, allerdings auch nötig, denn das Hotel liegt doch ein ganzes Stück außerhalb des Zentrums. Wir sind auch zweimal gelaufen, aber beim nächsten Mal würden wir eine zentralere Lage wählen. An zwei Tagen hatten wir einen Roller gemietet und konnten ihn sicher auf dem Hotelgelände abstellen, damit war das Transportproblem gelöst. Das Bad war groß und angenehm hell, allerdings fehlte mir ein Schminkspiegel, dann wäre die Ausstattung perfekt gewesen. Den kostenlosen Transferservice haben wir gerne genutzt, fanden es aber sehr schade, dass dieser nicht für die Fahrt zum Flughafen gilt (erst ab 4 Übernachtungen, wir waren 3 Nächte vor Ort). Stattdessen sollte der Flughafentransfer 20 Dollar kosten, was wir als völlig überzogen empfunden haben bei einer Fahrstrecke von 15 Minuten. Wir haben uns dann stattdessen ein Taxi rufen lassen, was deutlich weniger gekostet hat. Insgesamt ist die Preisgestaltung des Hotels für laotische Verhältnisse recht hoch.

There was a free shuttle to and from locations in the main part of the town and this was super convenient when we wanted to get picked up after a full day of walking. The breakfast was all you can eat from a menu. The house made milk bread and mango jam were so delicious. I also had the noodles at breakfast and they were so good! I would definitely eat at the restaurant again in the future. I was aka able to buy a jar of the house made mango jam to take home! The hotel also offered a free afternoon tea and the food and tea were so good!! The mango sticky rice and French toast were excellent. I really appreciated all the attention and care at this hotel. The location is great, not too far from the touristy locations just north of the hotel. It’s also a great place to be able to get a tour to the Kuang Si waterfalls. The atmosphere was amazing, very peaceful and relaxing. The room was great - with a rain shower and because we were on an upper floor, it also had a balcony. The hotel was very clean and they kept the common spaces like the gym and restaurant and pool area very clean as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to Luang Prabang.

When we first arrived into Luang Prabang the immigration experience wasn’t great. So much unnecessary paperwork after already going through their e-visa process. i was in a sour mood by the time I got to the hotel. the moment our car share arrived to the hotel we were created by the wonderful staff. they treated us to a welcome tea and gave us a very valuable map of the town. we stayed three nights and experienced the afternoon tea, evening delicious sweet treats before bed, and the 5/5 star hospitality and service. they also have a complementary shuttle service that we used a lot. they were always prompt on their responses on what’s app and always gave a great eta. we do laundry service and shoe cleaning service after our trek through the muddy jungles up to Kuang Si Waterfall and they took care of it no problem. the next evening we received all of our clothes and our shoes caked in mud and dirt arrived practically brand new. they did all of this with a smile and we always felt welcomed. i wish this hotel much success and all the staff much prosperity. Amazing people special shout out to Vaid ( i think that’s how you spell it) he’s the operational manager and was exceptionally gracious with his time. thanks again Le Sen you made our experience in Luang Prabang and our first impression of Laos overall an amazing success. now if only yall can change the entry experience lol.

- Kristina (9/5): Wunderschöne Oase der Ruhe in Luang Prabang - Eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre, wie eine kleine Oase der Ruhe mitten in Luang Prabang. Alles war sehr sauber und super gepflegt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Service, der wirklich sehr gut und aufmerksam war. Es wurde versucht, alle Wünsche umzusetzen. Der kostenlose Shuttle-Service (von 7am bis 10pm) war ein Traum, wir haben uns immer in die Stadt zu den Restaurants oder Cafes fahren lassen, zu denen wir wollten und man konnte auch einen individuellen Abholpunkt ausmachen, das hat via What‘s App super funktioniert … Das Frühstück war mega lecker, vor allem das selbst gebackene Brot und der Kaffee hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Liegen am Pool hätten etwas bequemer sein können, die waren sehr hart und die Frühstückskarte ggf. noch etwas abwechslungsreicher (wir waren allerdings auch 5 Nächte)

We loved the mini bus service which whisked us into town, that was very cool. There were lots of lovely extras, such as the afternoon tea treat, or the breakfast neck massage. Definitely book yourself some massage, they were really excellent. Particularly loved the inclusion of the sound bowls. We found Noudny to be particularly good and professional at customer relations and felt confident in her suggestions and her overall care.

What really makes this spot is the spa services. I had foot reflexology and Souk is the best. From the time she laid her hands on me I felt in a trance. She has a gift and I want to bring her back to America. I felt all the travel stress melt away. As I was leaving I set up an appointment for my husband the next day. This is one of the best spas I have been to. The staff at the hotel are top notch and they really love their jobs as it shows in how they have treated us. I would stay here again.

The room was very comfortable, with a large king sized bed and very good shower. All the staff were attentive and always ready to help. Breakfast was included, and had a menu with a wide choice of local and international flavours prepared to order. Although the Hotel is a bit outside the main city area there is a free shuttle that can drop you anywhere there and pick you up anytime until 10,0pm. The Hotel is excellent value for money and amongst the most comfortable boutique hotels we have stayed in.

The warmth of the staffs, the ambience, the Food by the Chef are exceptionally curated by the Owner of the hotel. The attention to detail about each and every aspect of a traveller is well taken care by the hotel staffs. The best highlight is the meal prepared by the Chef for breakfast and the little surprise gifts left in our room (with a lovely good night message) every evening. They even further surprised us with a token of love by handing out sweet treats for the return journey. I think i will return again to Loas just to enjoy the hospitality of this Hotel in particular. The hotel truly reflects the city’s peaceful, beautiful spirit. Its minimalist, nature-inspired design felt calm and comforting. What moved us most was the Baci ceremony the team kindly introduced after check-in. We created a small krathong, and everyone tied white strings on our wrists while wishing us happiness — that heartfelt moment will stay with me forever. That night, we released our krathongs on the Mekong River, symbolically letting go of heaviness and old sorrows. It was a cleansing, unforgettable experience. Breakfast is incredibly delicious and has a great variety, swimming and relaxing at their beautiful pool was also amazing and everyone who works there goes above and beyond to make you have a wonderful stay. Noudry, Ben, Phat are always smiling, in a good mood and very effective, gladly willing to help out. The bedroom with a balcony is very comfortable, spacious and clean. The only challenge is leaving the hotel, since we felt so happy and relaxed there. Can’t wait to be back again! It’s definitely the perfect place to recharge.
- manoodlookhin (10/5): Stay green, boutique and wellness 💚 - This is my first time that I stayed at Le Sen boutique Hotel Luang Prabang , especially this time I booked during the period of ‘Light festival’ ( Full-moon in October). Khun Pookie warmly welcomed us from the Luang Prabang airport, it was so surprising with her way to welcome , welcome drink and snacks are served on minibus ( crispy dried bamboo is preferred😍). Staffs at Front desk are also attentive,nice ,helpful and well presented in Laos culture ( I’m really appreciated). The surrounding is covered by a very relaxing atmosphere with mostly green plants and feel good for taking a slow deep breath. 🍃Le sen is also accommodated by restuarant with variety of foods and drinks including organic foods, swimming pool and spa with skillful therapists. Le Sen boutique hotel is now recommended for who you look for great stay in Luang Prabang🇱🇦 🫶🏽
- parthos304 (10/5): Le Sen: A boutique hotel that is exemplary in its delivery - We had a very pleasant experience in a warm and friendly environment throughout our weeklong stay. The staff at the dining room were polite and quick in serving. The reception staff were very helpful. Having free transport to go to and from made things convenient. Most of all, Pookie’s smiling approach with guests and leadership seemed to make the team work extremely well. Le Sen is a model for boutique hotels.
- Paul (9/5): So zu wohnen macht Spass! - Sehr schönes Hotel, etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums. Sehr ruhig, feines Essen und freundliches Personal. Hoteltaxi ins Zentrum verfügbar. Rückkehr am Abend ins Hotel mit Taxi oder TukTuk. Kein Problem, aber nicht allen ist das Hotel bekannt.
- Flora (6/5): - The staff is friendly and they are always ready to help. It’s a bit far from town center though hotel provides free shuttle bus. The room has a smell though it might be due to the wet weather in Luang Prabang.
- carlosmB5658GL (10/5): 5 fantastic days - This is a wonderful and remarkable boutique hotel. Every body is very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make one’s experience really comfortable and nice! The restaurant and the spa were fantastic! Ning and Noy were particularly caring during my massages at the gym! But again everybody is kind and helpful. So, staff combined with the nice facilities has been a great experience in Le Sen!
- zaryih (10/5): A Stylish and Comfortable Stay in the Heart of Luang Prabang - Stylish boutique hotel with excellent service! Rooms are modern and comfortable, the pool is lovely, and the location is perfect—close to town yet peaceful. The staff are outstanding, making every stay truly memorable.
- Hugo (10/5): Un cocon exceptionnel pour se reposer et découvrir Luang Prabang - - la villa très confortable avec des espaces extérieurs (notamment la salle de bain) très bien pensés - les parties communes magnifiques avec un jardin luxuriant et une belle piscine - un personnel exceptionnel, plein de petites attentions (rafraîchissements gratuits au bord de la piscine, pâtisseries chaque soir) et de bons conseils - le spa très agréable avec notamment des massages Lao parmi les meilleurs que nous ayons jamais eus - un petit déjeuner varié, à la carte et gargantuesque. Je n’avais jamais vu rien de tel, même dans des hôtels occidentaux très qualitatifs - un service de navette très pratique et réactif - un emplacement un peu plus loin du centre ville mais largement compensé par la navette et le calme - les vélos prêtés gracieusement par l’établissement (qui sont un grand point positifs) mériteraient vraiment une révision
- Daydream28927441397 (10/5): Lesen experience - The most surprising part of this trip was lesen—especially the delicious breakfast and its service is truly impeccable. The room decor is so thoughtful, giving off a "small but exquisite" vibe. Whether it was the massage service or other little details, you could feel the hotel’s dedication everywhere. If I ever get a chance to visit Luang Prabang again, I’ll definitely stay here again. And a special thanks to Noudny~
