We were added to table with others no choices due to being too busy, loud chaotic prefer table service..internal places to dine good but very expensive and seem to cater for high volume.. great place if you like busy large resort and are impressed by visual architecture features..

- Kate (8/5): - My friend and I stayed at the Mulia for 10 days. First for 4 days, then 3 and extended for 3 more. The grounds are very clean and comfortable and the room and beds were especially great. There are a lot of staff in hand but the customer service could improve a tad bit as there was some misunderstanding when we extended- it did not show in the system which led to dome confusion. Also, at breakfast when ordering tea or juice sometimes the staff forgot and we had to wait for a long time or tell them again and again. There are a lot of swimming pools but none are specifically for adults use, so it is hard yo swim when little kids are playing in all the pools. If there us a designated pool or kids (though kids are in each one if the 7 pools), there should be at least one pool designated just for adults so we can have a comfortable swim and relaxing time. It is a non smoking hotel, but guests still smoke in their rooms and the smoke penetrated to our room. I am allergic to cigarettes so that was hard to deal with. Also after cleaning our toilet bidet and me using it, i had gotten sort of a rash on my legs that seemed to have reacted with the heat of the sun and resulted in red spotting on the inside of my legs. I had to go to the hospital and got some ointment, and though the rash is nit as bad now - almost a week later - it is there. I let the staff know about it, and they checked on me the following day.

The balcony outside my room was infested with red ants. The housekeeping entered the room in the evening when I did not call for any and shocked me because this is the first time I’m experiencing this. With valuables lying around the room, how can the housekeeping just enter the room. Really disappointed in the whole experience this time.

Rooms are spacious latest finishings deco is beautiful lots of amenities Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety Prices for lunch and dinner are quiet high but the food is delicious.. Loved the numerous pools the beach and Entertainment offered by the hotel Staff was reaponsive and helpful Down side is you have to pay at the spa for sauna steam room jacuzzi etc. this is offered free for hotel guests in most of the hotels i've stayed in. Otherwise this hotel is worth every penny

The front desk (check in staff) are quite dismissive and standoffish. When we question why the toom type we paid for and were sold was not provided ? They just said sorry we are busy this is what you get ! How is this acceptable, they just stayed quiet and didn’t do anything what’s so ever. That being said the pool is amazing and the pool and restaurant staff and excellent and went above and beyond to provide a high level of service. But when your check in process is horrible it puts a damper on everything

- Daxa (4/5): - When you pay you expect service with enthusiastic and hope they explain everything but check in was not very welcoming i think they were more interested in wedding party than every day customers. All staff look tired and they didn't even said when where or what time is breakfast and nothing in the room that we can read and find out. No Bathrobes in the rooms toiletries are not nice at all looks basics. Towels looks old and time to change for new.water was free that is plus point but basics hotel provide soft drink in minibar freeze free but nothing from this hotel .when we went for breakfast we had to wait in queue and than lady took people from front of us and untill she don't finish with them we had to wait outside untill they dsay we can seat after that breais not good compare to other 5star hotel again they only interested in Asian food .other breakfast is not good at all ,fresh fruit juice been in plastic containers and when we ask they gave us from there in very small glasses. For breakfast they don't even have granola that we can make our own bowl.they had small ready granola in like small wine glass .for cereal they had plastic bowand that even don't look nice .I was very exited to stay in this hotel but very disappointing. We had dinner in restaurant and food was average. I would not stay there again and don't recommend to my friends and family.

The staff in all areas were welcoming, polite, friendly and very accommodating. Especially enjoyed the Living Room. This was a truly relaxing holiday with no real need to leave the resort. - Brett (10/5): - I first stayed at the Mulia ten years ago and it was outstanding then. Fast forward 10 years and it is still magnificent the best hotel in Bali. However I do believe that a few mini things need to be addressed. Firstly We we’re celebrating our engagement in Soleil restaurant, food was great but service not so good. We hadn’t finished our entree when out came the main meal. I said we need 15 minutes and they gave us 3 minutes. The second was we walked into the bottom area of the hotel that looks over the beach. When I asked a waitress can we have a table for a afternoon drink I was informed that we are not allowed in that area of the hotel and we must leave now. It wasn’t a nice start on our first day at the Mulia. The rest of the stay outstanding.

- Jignesh (10/5): Mulia - I’ve been to a few resorts around the world, but this one is by far the best. Clean, quiet, approachable and welcoming staff, and beautiful beaches. Excellent choice of food around the clock.
- Vinita (6/5): - Has to work on better service during breakfast especially when the hotel has high occupancy as people waited in queues in the mornings just for a table and their restaurant manager was very rude when we raised this to him, telling us that we should come at opening time so as to get a breakfast table if we don’t want to wait, rather then being courteous and trying to figure out a ln easier process to avoid people waiting, he opted to give his personal suggestion.

- Melissa (4/5): - Did not like this resort at all. Catering to the Korean and Chinese markets. Breakfast and breakfast staff were good. Most other staff were rude but we did notice that a lot of guests were rude to the staff so we can see why. Nearly 2 hours standing in a line just to check out was not good enough. Thank goodness we didnt have a plane to catch! Expensive and WAY over rated. The worst thing was the room noise. The worst we have experienced and kept 2 adults and 2 children awake most nights hearing people above and in the hallway. Never again.

Forgetting orders, general friendliness of staff was terrible, the bar staff especially are rude and almost came across snobby. I won’t be staying here again, the food was WAY over priced with 95000 IDR Bintangs and minimum 1.5M IDR dinners per head on average unless you eat gorengs etc.

- Nancy (10/5): Mulia hotel highly recommend - The hotel Is beautiful. The staff are amiable and hopeful. They always asked if we were having a good time. The restaurants are great too. The only thing I find is the room lighting is too dark. It needs more light to be bright up the room.
- William (8/5): - This is generally a great property to stay in. Good sized rooms. Great pool, gym and shopping facilities on site. The beach is right by the pool. Staff are friendly. However, it has one major drawback in my opinion, which it could easily resolve. Having stayed here twice now, once in 2018 and again in September 2022, my only grievance with this hotel, and one which is significant enough to sully the overall experience, is the terrible breakfast service. I would have expected this to have improved in the course of four years, but it has become worse - the egg station is chaotic and good luck getting what you order there, the selections in other sections don't seem to complement each other, and can be quite bland. The best coffee selections are hidden in a station that isn't particularly obvious. But worst of all, there are usually reasonably long queues to get into the breakfast area, anytime after roughly 7.30am it seems. This is a big hotel and the breakfast area, while reasonably large, is not sufficient for the number of guests the hotel accommodates. This aside, Mulia is otherwise a very pleasant place to stay. I just hope the breakfast service improves for my next visit.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - This was our first "staycay" at the Mulia and as we travel quite regularly it was a very much needed break after almost 3months of no flights out of Bali. Our first impressions of The Mulia was the grandeur and beautiful grounds, we can clearly see why it has been so highly rated over the years. We stayed in the Royal Suite and the room was extremely clean and well-appointed with ample space. Food quality was very good & refined, after staying in various 5 & 6-star hotels around the world we occasionally find the food being the letdown at these types of hotels, this was not the case at all! We were very impressed given we are in a pandemic where the hotel was practically empty The Mulia has not let the food quality standard slip (Bravo to the F&B team) Our only slight critique was the general experience we had at the beach bar, we still had a great time and recommend this hotel however I will write to management personally on some aspects they can further improve. We still highly recommend this hotel & looking forward to our next trip back! Thank you for a great time.

- KBurg (8/5): - Room upgrade to celebrate special occassion with great customer service and kid's club for families. The breakfast buffet was ordinary for this class of resort but soleil restaurant was superb.
- Debbie (8/5): Luxury Resort - Great hotel and fabulous staff and service, it is expensive but worth the extra cost. Lagoon access room worth paying extra for, they just need to put sun lounges on the outdoor area instead of chairs. If you are elderly do not consider these rooms, getting in and out of the pool is difficult, though they could put a railing in. Tiles on the outside area are deadly when wet, I’d be surprised if they have not had a serious injury, they need to fix this as duty of care, a warning sign is not sufficient! Food is excellent, wonderful breakfast.
