Bhav (10/5): Pleasant and comfortable stay. - Overall, all staff members were very kind and accommodating however there was someone who went beyond our expectation that was room attendant Duyen. She was highly professional and pleasant. Another staff member I would like to mention is Kevin from Front Office. He made us comfortable as soon as we reached the hotel and was always pleasant and helpful with all our queries. Last day we asked for the wakeup call as we had early morning flight however we did not get the call. We woke up on time if not if could have led to inconvenience. Still I would like to rate the hotel as 10/10 as all other factors especially the staff members were excellent.
Kylie (8/5): - Comfortable beds and good shower, in district 1 near the reunification palace. Great pool on rooftop to watch the storms from. Excellent housekeeping staff especially Duyên + Thi (I think that was their names) We should have been advised prior to checking in that the pool was unavailable for one of our nights due to a private function. They did make an effort to provide one at a hotel next door but I didn’t want to walk in the rain to get there. There was also construction within the hotel which was noisy and we should have been advised of that as well. I would have changed my booking to elsewhere.

Laura (8/5): Exceptional service - Staff were exceptional and always willing to help. Food was great, service was top quality. Very friendly at all times. Manager gave us a free transfer to the airport after we mentioned how noisy the construction was in the building. They had construction in there building for our whole stay. A few things in our room didn't work. Like the bath jets. The bed mattress never gets rotated creating the 'ditch' shape and lumpiness.

Plus it took us a while of how to get the water temperature on the taps. If you have mobility problems the shower will be a problem for you

Goed ontbijt we hadden een vroege excursie en kregen ontbijt mee in een bakje super lief. Personeel super lief doen de deur voor je open, hoeft van mij niet echt maar hoort bij het hotel. Kamer was fijn klein beetje gehorig. Maar dat heb ik echt overal gehad. Ze waren Kramers aan het recovered volgens mij. Alles schoon super goede hygiene ook wel anders gehad in Vietnam. Top locatie lopend te doen maar een grab ook prima. Fijn dat er handoeken zijn bij het zwembad Douche en bad in 1 is wat minder maar voor ons te doen als je wat slechter teveel bent zou dat niet handig zijn maar dat heb ik zelf niet goed gekeken.

The property was responsive to any questions I had prior to our stay. We were enthusiastically greeted on arrival by Ivy, who made us feel welcome and ensured we were comfortable while we waited for our room to be ready (we checked in early). Ivy made great efforts to look after us and our baby. The room was immaculate and large and the perfect space to stretch out after a day in the city. The breakfast was impressive and the breakfast staff very helpful. The pool and deck area were impressive for a city location and hosted our baby's very first swim! On check out Kevin was very professional and helpful. I couldn't fault anything and look forward to staying again when I next visit Vietnam.

Julia (10/5): Affordable, hotel that you feel pampered staying there! - Great location, easy to find and visit other parts of the city. Staff is excellent. Friendly, and accommodating. Extensive breakfast is a bonus. Did I mention the roof to bar and pool? Nice! I would ask, why are the towel hooks so high on the door in the bathroom? Not a dislike.. I had to throw my towel and bath robe several times to hook it up. It was funny.. ok I’m 5’ tall :)

Lesley (4/5): The worst stop over we have ever had . No apologies, no compensation and no acknowledgement. - We have been to Edenstar numerous times and it has been very good location , staff and beautiful pool . We were booked in for 2 nights as relaxation before returning home to Australia. We received a letter at 2 pm to say that the pool was closed from 4 pm due to a private function . We were on the 10 th floor so not only could we spend our time by the pool we had the noise from the function until 10pm then the cleaning up scrapping on the floor, moving furniture until 12.45 am . We told the reception who were not concerned.

Location and amenities are excellent, staff most accommodating, and facilities (thank you, Duyen) are pristine. Thank you.

Antoine (8/5): Un petit manque de charme mais très correct - La piscine sur le toit. Accessible de l’aéroport tout en étant à 15’ à pied du centre. Un peu cher pour un service sans charme particulier avec chambre confortable mais classique. Réceptions privées au 11e bruyantes.

krisgB1283JU (10/5): Great location, wonderful rooftop pool and bar - Fantastic hotel in a great location. Had a wonderful rooftop bar and pool area which was great to relax in the afternoon. Very central to shopping, restaurants and attractions with a cafe, Circle K and massage place in the same block. Friendly staff.

Ben (9/5): - My only feedback is breakfast. There’s a good number of guests. There’s plenty of tables and that’s great. However there is only one chef manning the area for any noodles, pho, or egg requests. The wait time can be significant.

Jodie (7/5): Location is good, the hotel is more like a 3-star clean, suitable for short stays. - We liked the location of this hotel easy to get around by Grab taxi. The hotel breakfast was very poor, limited options and not appealing, I would recommend eating outside of hotel. Noise travels easily between rooms and surrounding hotel which makes it not a place to relax sleep wise which we were early risers due to activities, but others may not like it. If you just need a clean hotel to drop and run, then this hotel is fine just give the breakfast a miss, nice cafes close by.

We have a young daughter and unfortunately the staff didn’t know how to deal with them.

deb (10/5): Lovely stay - Staff were welcoming and attentive, always on hand to help and advise. Room was spacious and clean, huge comfy bed. Pool area clean, great cocktails 2 4 1 between 3pm and 5 pm. Lots of choice at breakfast. Our bathroom needed a shower cubicle as against one over the bath with a curtain.
Sonya (9/5): Welcome Oasis - We missed our flight to Sydney due to a delay on our connecting flight from Da Nang, so at 9pm we were suddenly searching for a place to stay for the night. Luckily, we came across this little gem. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, especially during what was a stressful situation for us. Their kindness completely turned our experience around—what could have been a disappointing setback became something we genuinely appreciated. In the end, we absolutely loved our unexpected extra day in Ho Chi Minh City, all thanks to the wonderful staff and excellent facilities. We’re so grateful for the care we received. There was nothing not to like!

misterpr1981 (10/5): Edenstar definitely four stars - We had a fantastic time at this hotel, not because of the room itself, but because of its prime location and exceptional services. Our attentive host, Kevin, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The spacious room provided great value for the price, although the shower/tub design was a bit outdated. The rooftop pool was lovely, and the breakfast was decent, though we’ve had better days. Overall, we were satisfied with our experience.
