• Ross (4/5): Aesthetically decent inside but beware of mandatory valet and uncomfortable beds - The hotel had a nice interior. It was clean. There were a lot of snack and drink options in the lobby store. The desk staff were friendly. The location of the hotel was fairly easy to locate. I was not made aware that literally the only parking option was valet. I pull up to check in and the guy asked if I was going to valet and I said I can park myself and he said no it's only valet so I said well I guess I'm gonna valet then, huh. And then I had to spend an extra, mandatory $50 per night to valet my car. None of this was disclosed prior to booking. The other thing was that we got a suite with a sofa and while the room was nicely accommodating, the bed was AWFUL. We woke up in actual pain. Hardest mattress I've ever slept on. It had zero give whatsoever. Felt like sleeping on the floor.

• smhuser (4/5): Disappointed - The staff was friendly. But the sink in the bathroom was dirty and the paint in the bathroom was chipped. The bathroom looked beat up and scruffy. In the morning the bathroom light would not work. It was 6am so it was completely dark. I called the front desk and was told that the maintenance staff would not be in for several hours. We needed to get ready and leave. We moved a desktop lamp over to point to the bathroom (we were afraid to put it on the bathroom counter in case water splashed and we electrocuted ourselves). We used the lamp and our phone flashlights to get ready. We could not take showers. I know things happen, but why wouldn't maintenance be on call? The air conditioning rattled all night. It's just not the standard I'd expect from a Hilton.

• Sightseer49858542827 (4/5): Not it. - Three tips for those staying here: (1) Don't bother asking for your room to be cleaned (and yes, you have to specifically ask) because that consists of two trash bags taken out, one replenished towel, and the SAME sheets thrown back on the bed without one ounce of care. (2) Wear your glasses down to the lobby because if you don't see the teensy tiny sign written in crayon posted in the far corner saying that the sub-par (and that's generous) breakfast is $20, you'll be chased down by security to pay the bill for the one scoop of eggs and potatoes you ate. LIKEEEE had I known or had the 4 staff members around at the time mentioned it, I would have not eaten or piled on a whole lot more! (3) FYI, upon initially walking into your room, there might be hairs in the shower from the previous guest. Note that I am a very easy going person and NEVER write reviews... Hope you enjoyed my pro tips.

• Q6364HMtatianap (2/5): Price Match is a LIE!!! - This doesn't have anything to do with this hotel but as Hilton as a whole. They say they have price match guarantee, and it is definitely a lie! I submitted my hotel and dates, and they told me they were sold out, which is a complete lie. I showed proof, which is attached below. Expedia was offering the room for almost $25 less per night. They are supposed to price-match and give you 25% off your stay. They didn't give it to me even though I sent proof. I am a Hilton Member and even have a Hilton Amex card, it's a shame that I have to reserve through a 3rd party site to get the best rate.

I think we have stayed there 3 times in the last 2 months! I don’t care for the high parking cost but he doesn’t mind paying the $40 nightly self parking! Also he enjoys the restaurants there!

I was on the 11th floor and it was like my bed was in the middle of the highway. They do not clean the room. Rooms are run down Out of the 2 elevators 1 was working (and even that its safety inspection was from 2024!! Isn’t this illegal? Avoid breakfast! It is dog food!

• Susi (6/5): Caution: Inaccurate description/Unexpected costs - The hotel was clean, had friendly staff, and a nice pool (it was too cold to enter on Sept 14th). Valet parking was available for $50 overnight, with exits/returns as needed. The valet cost was expected from other reviews, and the valet system was great with texting to retrieve the car within 2 mins. HOWEVER, we encountered MAJOR issues with what the HGI staff blamed on false advertising on Hotels.com. We booked a king room with pull out couch for our family of 3, and selected HGI due to the pricing on hotels.com and the free breakfast. Upon check in, the room only had a king size bed - We had to upgrade for our third family member to have somewhere to sleep! Breakfast ($18 each) was NOT included, though I managed to get one comped meal coupon due to the issues. Only coffee and tea were included, and breakfast was cooked to order. The additional costs were unexpected and caused stress on our family. The hotel staff blamed it on Hotels.com. If this is indeed an issue with Hotels.com, it needs to be sorted out between HGI and the site. While possible to select a suite with pull out sofa and include breakfasts and valet in the booking, it was not noted that this was necessary. The description and photos of the room we selected was that it sleeps 4 and had free breakfast. We would maybe stay here again, or choose somewhere else in Midtown. Use caution and expect the costs to be $80-150 more per night than we paid when booking through the site.

I didn't get to enjoy the pool or try the breakfast buffet but having a Keurig coffee maker in the room was a plus. The only thing unfortunate to staying downtown Atlanta is parking. If you arrive in your own vehicle be prepared to valet. They have a great staff, I was very comfortable leaving my car with them.... however I learned from this experience that "available parking" posted in the app does not necessarily mean free parking. there's an automatic $50 surcharge put on your bill, so make the best of it.

• shannon (7/5): Decent room but extremely loud traffic noise - Walking distance to the Marta and several restaurants and cafes. We had a room facing the interstate. There was no soundproofing so we heard very loud cars all night long and it was very difficult to sleep through it. I even tried to use my white noise machine. The next day I asked the receptionist if we could move rooms but there were no rooms available facing the other direction.

Just something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper. The staff was excellent—very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. I stayed here unexpectedly due to a canceled flight and it served its purpose. It’s about a 15-minute drive to the airport. One note: the check-in area is a bit hidden and can be confusing to find.

• Kayleen (10/5): 5 Stars! - 5 Stars – Exceptional Stay! From the moment we arrived, every staff member – valet, front desk, and bartender – went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. This was our first experience at this Hilton, and it has been phenomenal. We actually switched from a motel 30 minutes away due to poor service and missing amenities, and we could not be happier with that decision. The difference here is like night and day! My kids and I absolutely love this hotel. Thank you for turning our trip around and making us feel so welcome!
• Verified traveler (4/5): Would not return - They didn't have the room that i had paid for available and we had to split our family into a second room (they had overbooked??) One of the rooms smelled like mold/mildew, otherwise very clean. The staff were all incredibly friendly/nice. The elevator we used had an expired inspection tag posted (over a year expired).I would not stay there again. I gave a 2 rather than a 1 because of the friendliness of the staff.

• Christy (8/5): - Property was clean, quiet and organized. We checked in late and parking was a bit difficult late and after a long ride we were hoping that would be quicker. Check in was good. We did not have bedding for the pullout when we arrived in the room. We called the front desk and had to go down and get it. We booked the Junior suite room for a family of 5, so it would have been good to have the bedding available in the room. Overall the room was nice, clean and quiet and so if you are checking in at a more reasonable hour it would likely be a better experience.
• Klw02 (2/5): - This HGI is bad. The first room they gave me looked out over the pool area and the window did not have a shade and the room smelled. I went to the front desk to get another room. The only room left was a handicap room. It had shades (same floor) but the one that was rolled up, I had to unroll manually, and it had holes in it. The sheets did not fit the bed. The bed was uncomfortable, did not sleep well at all. The thermostat did not work so there was no control over the temperature. The bathroom sink had been broken down the middle (how does that happen) and glued together with some foam glue - looked terrible. The carpets were nasty. I wore shoes unless I was in bed. It's valet parking only - $50 a night! And the people at the valet station had to tell you that they take cash tips. I've never had a valet say that. Their actions should show that they deserve a tip. I moved hotels after the first night.

Every person we interacted with was very nice and the extra touches they made decorating for the beyonce concert were so cute! The room was great and the beds were so comfortable! I also loved the touch of having my name on the tv when we got in. Food and drinks at the bar were excellent and Alex was lovely to talk to! Would love to stay here again.
• Jennifer (6/5): Just oK, good location - The room was very expensive for the condition and amenities of the hotel. The hotel is an older hotel that has been redecorated a bit. The carpet was really dirty, so dirty that I didn't want to walk around in my socks. It was on the edge of midtown, we were hoping to stay in the thick of midtown and it isn't as accessible to walking quickly to things. The thing that is good about this hotel is that it is only 1.2 miles from the Mecedes-Benz stadium. So, if you are going to a concert it would be a great location. Valet service was unorganized and expensive. Additionally, I watched the valets run 2 cars into each other as they were pulling my car around. The car owners were very upset about the situation. All in all, it was an OK stay that could have been worse but was overpriced.

• DeAna (6/5): - So I on site the outside of the hotel does not look like the photos. There is some homeless and drug activity out and around the building. They do lock all doors from the outside you need a key to enter, that safety feature was good. You do get accosted by people for money ect as you walk around the area. Inside, staff was super nice and accommodating. I did end up paying for parking and it was valet only. The valet ended up costing me an extra 50$ per night so I honestly could have stayed somewhere a little nicer had I known. My room was clean and had all I needed, the ac did not work in the room so nights were hot but I didn’t bother the staff as we were out most of the day. Food there was pretty good and well portioned, drinks were also good. The gym was clean nice weight rack, treds, ect, but the pelotons needed a code or weren’t functioning so unusable, which if a selling point should be functioning. I do agree there are nicer hotels so if you’re going on trip with family look around. I honestly wouldn’t stay here again I feel the staff was the only upside to this hotel. If you going for work or over night this was fine. Just beware some of the up charges.
• E9511HHarnolds (2/5): Horrible Experience - I have been a longtime Hilton Honor and Diamonds Member but this weekend was the absolute worst experience I ever had. After making reservations for the Hilton Midtown Atlanta on 6/28-29 for my son and grandchild only to get there and encounter someone named “Cookie” who made it a nightmare. After running my card and the charge hitting my statement, only for her to say it was declined and asked to run it again to say declined and then state they didn’t have anymore rooms. Sends him over to the Homewood next door where the lady at the front was exceptional. However, we had to run another card and yet my card is still charged from the Hilton. Even after showing Cookie the Capital One statement of the $263.58!from the Hilton Garden she still stayed they didn’t see it. I don’t want to be charged twice for one night and a horrible experience. I’m attaching my statement for evidence. Then I receive a cancellation email from the Hilton as if I canceled it stating that charges may incur. Please don’t charge my card as if I stayed there or as if I canceled the reservation. Please don’t expect me to ever stay at that site again

• Peter (8/5): - Good location near to Midtown Station, also some nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. Hotel was clean and comfortable.
• Jonathan (4/5): Avoid this crap hole! - Horrible experience. The first 2 out of 3 days, they didn’t have room keys available, so if I left my room I was locked out unless I got security or the person at the desk to walk me to the room. I didn’t have access to the pool or gym either. The ac barely worked, and the traffic outside was extremely load, like the windows were open.. but they weren’t. Overall I wish I spent the extra 200 bucks and stayed at a nicer place. Oh, the internet was the cheapest lowest quality internet I’ve experienced since dialup. 10mb down, 1mb up.
• Jennifer (8/5): - The property itself is pretty well maintained. We requested a crib for our one year old and never got it. The extra linens for the extra bed were barely adequate. The cost of the breakfast was supposed to be included in my booking, and still cost $17.99 plus tax, per person. The forced valet was initially a surprise at $50 a day, though with a small child it DID turn out to be wildly convenient. The area seemed mostly safe and had standard ATL traffic conditions. Overall, a decent stay.
• GEORGIA (8/5): - The accommodations were clean and comfortable. I did not realize that they only had valet parking and no complimentary breakfast.

• bfchef (8/5): Great Location - Excellent location, easy to walk to various restaurants, bars or offices as well as Georgia Tech. Rooms were good and clean. Pleasant staff. Alex at the bar was really good. Be wary of bringing a larger vehicle in to park, it's very tight but the valet staff is good.
• Ann (7/5): Good stay no in room safe - Large clean room, free tea & coffee, nice staff, close to MARTA station & lots of restaurants. No in room safe
• johnmX5363NJ (8/5): Good stay - Stayed 2 nights, big clean room with good shower, didn't have breakfast but there is free tea & coffee in the lobby. Located close to a MARTA train station also lots of bar/restaurants in the area & a large Publix super marketplace just around the corner. The one minus was no in room safe deposit box.
