• Connie (1/5): - Location would have been perfect, and would have been with our group of 28 friends When booking this hotel thru booking.com, I somehow got routed to the Hampton Inn Ocala instead of Hampton Inn Ocala Belleview. We were traveling with a group of 28 friends and this was our last stop in a 6 day biking trip. The belleview hotel was chosen because it ess closest to the bike trail. On 4/17 when I realized I was booked in the wrong Hampton Inn, i contacted the Hampton ocala AND booking.com 24 hours before the reservation. Both booking and I contacted the hotel Ocala several times to explain the issue and ask for a no fee cancellation. Meanwhile, I rebooked my stay at the correct Hampton- belleview. Hampton Ocala responded to both of us several times that they would not cancel the reservation with no fees, even though I rebooked in another local Hampton and am a Hilton honors member. So I paid $200+ for a room i did not stay in. Very unhappy with this hotel management. Booking #6089475360

• 511Roadman (4/5): Don’t departure early, it will cost you! - Lifetime Diamond member here to tell you about my stay at this hotel. The good, nice staff and clean facility. However, if you need to depart earlier than your reservation indicated, a $50 “early departure” is charge to the bill. It seems the hotel manager, Susan, has no flexibility and relies on blaming this fee and other fees this property charges on Hilton. A sorry, Hilton rules are the rules. I spoke with the staff and of course expressed my disappointment. They were very apologetic and agreed with me when I said I’ve never had a hotel charge me for departing early. For the last 20+ years I have traveled for business. Travel that has taken me all over the country and many Hilton properties. I have made adjustments to my hotels stays frequently. Never have I been charge an “early departure”. So Susan, take note and not only loosen up on your ridiculous punitive fees for coming to your hotel earlier, leaving earlier, and whatever else you’re doing. Blaming the Hilton “rule book” is cowardly and putting your staff in this position is poor leadership. You have the flexibility to do what is right for your customers. I, nor anyone from my company will never stay at this hotel again. We have other options. So, to any potential customers reading this review, be prepared to be punished if you want to get into your soon earlier or leave earlier for any reason. And, this hotel is convenient located next to the highway, it is extremely loud.
• Bkl2009 (4/5): Time to find a new hotel in Ocala for me and my employees - This hotel is right next to interstate 75. I have stayed here 2x a month for years. All of a sudden in 2026 they have started changing my reserved room number to the freeway side. This has happened 3X Message don’t trust the room you pick on the app will actually be the one you get.

Bed was very comfortable and the big walk in shower was wonderful. Lots of lighting in the room made it enjoyable. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Beautiful out door seating by pool area. All and all a great place to stay.

• 957julieh957 (6/5): Nice hotel but highway noise is terrible on back side of building - This was a nice hotel and in a good location, close to major roads and restaurants. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and breakfast area spacious and modern. Unfortunately, we were unable to get a room on the front side of the building (none available when we checked in at 5:30). We thought “how bad can the road noise be on the back side??” It was BAD. The hotel is super close to Hwy 75 and the traffic is constant all thru the nite. You actually almost feel like you’re in the middle of the freeway at times! You don’t get much sleep. Would never stay here again unless our room was on the front side of the building.

• Explorer24261945995 (4/5): Disappointed not the best Hampton inn - The staff here is pretty great. The night shift was very nice John was always greeting with a smile. They don’t allow checking in online to get a digital key so you don’t have to stop at the desk which is frustrating I stay at many Hilton and this was a first. The first night children ran around in the room above me until midnight the front desk couldn’t get them to stop. This hotel has lots of road noise unfortunately. If you stay ask to stay on the other side of the hotel to try to avoid it. The water never got hot only warm. I over looked everything wasn’t gonna complain but I’m so disappointed when I asked for later check out which the normally allow for diamond members no problem the lady tried to charge me $75 I will not be staying here again. I just stayed for 11 nights and got here late for check in and they wanted $75 to stay an extra hr disappointing mind you I’m driving to a different town and staying another week there in another Hampton inn.
• Chapsbaby (10/5): Reason This Hotel is a Top Rated Ocala Hotel - This is the second year in a row that we stayed at Hampton Inn & Suites Ocala during our annual holiday drive to visit family in central Florida. This hotel is excellent in every possible way. From check in, to room cleanliness to terrific staff. The hotel's holiday decorations are beautiful and you can tell by interactions with the various hotel staff that they are very proud of this location. The provided breakfast is very good with a variety of offerings and the breakfast seating area is very spacious. Also, the hotel's location is very good, set off in a nice area among a variety of other hotels. We also like that fact that once we arrive after a long day of driving, we can just walk over the Cracker Barrel for dinner. Note: This hotel is off the expressway, but I think the soundproofing is good as the traffic noise didn't bother us. However, the hotel thinks of everything as they provide ear plugs on each nightstand.

• 912brianz (2/5): Short sited manager is eroding hiltons brand - I canceled my room more then 3 days in advance and I was charged for room. I contacted the manager informing her that I have gold status and I stay in Hilton properties over 50 times a year. The manager Susan Perkins denied my request. As a loyal Hilton customer, I have always appreciated the flexibility and understanding that the brand has shown its members. However, it is disheartening to learn that in this instance, over a charge of $234, there seems to be no room for flexibility. This decision seems to undermine the loyalty that Hilton has built with its customers over the years. Such rigidity can tarnish the Hilton brand and potentially erode customer loyalty, which I believe is far more valuable than the monetary amount in question.

• randy (3/5): - I booked through Booking com. The system booked me 2 rooms instead one in ERROR. I had pre paid through booking. When I checked in the hotel told me to contact Booking for a credit. Terrible customer service on Booking coms part. They blame Hampton. Hampton says everything has to be done through Booking.com. Booking refuse to give me a credit for one room that I did not book, nor use. Frustrating to say the least. I will be booking all my rooms directly with hotels from now on.

We had to fly down at the last minute for a family emergency and got adjoining rooms that were perfect for me and my 3 daughters. Buffet breakfast was better than your average free buffet breakfast - omelets, fruit salad, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, waffle maker, coffee and tea 24/7. Close to everything you could need - Dunkin, restaurants, Target, Wawa, etc.

This was completely unacceptable. I reported it right away, Yet here I am, still waiting on a refund. I did not stay at this hotel, & I had to make last minute arrangements elsewhere. I expected better handling of such a serious issue. This experience was beyond disappointing, & I would never recommend this property to anyone.

It truly is award winning as it is super clean, and the customer service from the staff members was outstanding. A huge shout out to John and Tiffany at the front desk for their kindness and care, to the housekeeping team for their attentiveness for not only keeping our room refreshed, but for maintaining the entire building, and to the kitchen staff for keeping the breakfast and coffee bars full and fresh. Thank you for all you do!
• 510JasonF (6/5): Not honoring honors… - Hotel was fine. Staff was great. The issue is Hitlon not awarding Honors points. I’ve booked multiple Hilton properties with third party sites but now they don’t honor those bookings with points. If points/status doesn’t matter to you then it’s a decent stay. If they do make sure you jump thru hiltons hoops. I will not be stoat another Hilton property since my money isn’t as good as others.

• Jason (10/5): - Quick and easy check in. Very helpful in linking my Hilton Honors member number with the stay since Expedia has no way of doing that. Room was clean and comfortable. Traffic noise not an issue, was on 4th floor and facing the interstate, had zero issue with falling asleep.

It just may be the friendliest hotel front desk in America with people like Maria and Sara making travelers feel welcome. Thank you Maria and Sara for making our stay an A+. • Compass58528022630 (10/5): Amazing Experience - Friendly staff and amazing housekeepers. The best Hampton I’ve ever stayed! Everything was so clean here. Pool was beautifully maintained and water was so clean. Earplugs and hair tie set were provided. Bathroom was so clean. The front desk attendants were friendly nice people. Highly recommend!

• Odarkthirty (10/5): The best Hampton Inn we have ever stayed - This hotel was fantastic. Checkin was easy and very pleasant. The woman in charge gave us a room upgrade and some super recommendations for places to eat dinner. Our room was very very nice, and very clean. The beds were comfortable too. Every employee we spoke with was pleasant and upbeat. Overall an excellent experience. The best Hampton we have ever been to.

• Christina (8/5): Sleepless in Ocala - The Hampton Inn in Ocala was great! My only complaint was that the traffic noise from I -75. When they had complimentary ear plugs I should have known it was going to be loud and it was. Maybe they can put some kind of sound proofing on the windows?? I hate to leave negative comments especially when everything else was perfect,but I hardly could sleep even with the TV on to block out some of the traffic noise. Sorry Hampton, but I don't see myself staying at this location again.

• Jeane (9/5): Mostly positive - My stay at the inn was mostly positive. The room was very clean and well kept. However the bed was disappointing as the sheets didn’t seem freshly changed and the mattress was uncomfortably lumpy.
• Dream780180 (10/5): Another great Hampton Inn. - Hard to beet, but this one was even nicer than the one in Orlando! Everything was perfect! The 2 ladies at the front desk offered great advice on what to do for a short stay. They had a GREAT sense of humour! The free breakfast was even better than the one in Orlando. I have never been disappointed with Hampton Inn.

• subman619 (10/5): Great Hotel - As a diamond member I have stayed at many Hamptons. I can say this Hampton is in the top 3 I have stayed at. The hotel was clean, had good amenities, friendly staff who communicated frequently. The only issue is the higher than normal sulfur smell in the water. While this is true throughout Florida (I’m a resident), most hotels I have stayed at in-state figure out a way to temper it. I highly recommend this hotel.
• Robert (10/5): - I would have liked fresh, not canned, fruit mix with the breakfast. Also some yogurt (not with artificial sweetener). Other than the noise from I 75 (thanks for the ear plugs!), a very nice stay, good staff, professional and courteous.
