- Lavigne (8/5): Lovely property and rooms. Food and dining needs improvement. - Beautiful areas gorgeous gardens lovely beachfront nice furnishings and pools The botanica restaurant menu is fussy - should be paired down and executed better. Meals should be excellent not mediocre at this hotel/resort. Also staff at front desk, spa etc not wearing masks but servers and bartenders wearing masks hard to understand them and all dining is outside not sure why masks are being worn? Other resorts aren't using masks. It felt ominous and strange.
- Eve (9/5): -
- Sofia (10/5): Best service I’ve ever had, beautiful and relaxing location, high prices - Such a great place to stay! Instantly relaxing. We only stayed one night, two days, and honestly wish we had stayed longer. Not much to do in Todos Santos but this resort is great!
10000/10 staff & service!
Spa prices are ridiculously high so I’d recommend going outside of the resort for that. Food at the resort is great though and about average with other “nice” restaurants we went to in the area High prices, road to get in and out of the resort is rough if you’re driving. Easy to get lost when driving around (not the resort’s fault)!
- Daniel (8/5): - Great staff and nice property. There had been storm damage before we arrived so they were working to fix a lot of things and quite a bit was unavailable. We had to move rooms due to an air conditioner malfunction. I hoped they would have offered to compensate us in some way for the inconveniences and unavailability of several amenities but unfortunately this was not the case. That said, the staff was unfailingly friendly and responsive and made our stay a good one.
- Jhoanna (10/5): - The pictures don’t make justice, our stay was exceptional. The food was delicious the service impeccable, the views mesmerizing, the garden was breathtaking, the spa and fitness center was top of the line. Different pools and walkable sandy beach. Swimmable if you are a good swimmer
- Colby (10/5): - AMAZING!! The resort and rooms were stunning. The food and drinks were fresh and delicious. The property speaks for itself, but the staff are the cherry on top. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend.
- Samantha (10/5): The Greatest hidden just in Pescador - The staff and service was excellent, the food on the premises whether it was breakfast or dinner was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be returning!
- maria jimena (10/5): - Beautiful place
- Pedro Afan (10/5): - Wonderful Stay at Más Olas
We had a great experience overall. Everyone working at Más Olas was extremely professional and helpful—from Fernando, who gave us a tour of the property, to the friendly reception staff (especially Scarlett), and of course, the amazing team at the main pool bar.
The hotel gardens are stunning, with plenty of peaceful corners to sit and relax. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean is absolutely beautiful, and the two additional pools were also fantastic.
The location is perfect—close to Todos Santos and several great surfing beaches, and only about an easy hour-and-a-half drive to La Paz and its breathtaking beaches.
Highly recommend!
- Alfredo (6/5): - The location
- Rogelio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): - A n incredible stay in an impeccable villa, personal service, tranquility and beauty abound. Felt simplistically upscale - relaxed luxury at its best.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - We did a Mom Daughter Graduation Trip and we impressed at every stage of this trip! The location is Farm to Table Beach Resort and Luxury all in one Resort. The food was so fresh and creative and the service was even better. Our room was beautiful and bid enough for 3 ppl and we had a dessert plate when we arrived then also morning spa water and treats and turndown water and cookies every night. We felt very lucky to find such a special place. Also the Spa was very beautiful and we did a sound bath on Sunday morning which was wonderful. My one fault was that there is NO SIGN from the main road to find the place and we were lucky our Google maps was working. They also need signs on the dirt road to make sure you are heading in the right direction since it's about 3 miles from the main road and hard to find. WE LOVED it and will be
- Kimiya (10/5): Dreamiest place for a getaway - Esthetics, neatness, peaceful
- Gustavo (10/5): Amazing place word class service - Everything was amazing Food prices are a bit high.
- Philippa (10/5): Amazing! I loved it! - Loved the rooms, the spa, the fitness facilities! The staff were so kind, especially at the Spa reception. Also the restaurant and food was amazing The mind changing backpack never contained any juice as advised, only water
- Steven (8/5): - For a hotel that purports to be a 5- star property, it was not what we expected. There was a building next to ours that was unfinished with boarded up windows and an ugly shed behind our building that needs to be renovated. The staff was nice but inexperienced. And the food at the restaurants was good but not great. The surrounding area is unattractive and did not feel entirely safe.
- Pablo (2/5): It could have been ome of the best hotels in Baja, and it was not. - Spot, facilities and amenities The service, the staff. For such amazing property, the service was very poor and unorganized.
- Jennifer P (10/5): - amazing!!
- Philip (10/5): - Beautiful gardens, quiet, nice rooms, onky wish is for more variety on the restaurant/ food side of things.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic property, excellent service, delicious food, HIGHLY recommend.
- Alex (4/5): - Going to just share the email I sent management since I have now not heard back after multiple weeks:
My wife and I recently stayed at your hotel from Jan 1-5th. While we were thoroughly impressed by the grounds and the evident care that has gone into creating such a beautiful atmosphere, we regret to say that our overall experience fell short of expectations due to significant understaffing issues.
During our stay, it became apparent that the lack of sufficient staff impacted various aspects of the service. For instance, restaurants were closed without notice on certain days, pool bars were not open when advertised, and we had multiple instances when our order was incorrect or forgotten. While housekeeping was quite attentive, your bars/restaurants were either not staffed during large chunks of the day or so understaffed that it quite negatively impacted your guest experience. Multiple mornings we went to one of the pools only to find trash from the day before still present and no towels. This all unfortunately detracted from what could have been a truly enjoyable visit.
Upon check out, we were not asked how our stay went and your staff seemed generally uninterested in helping during our story when we needed basic things like pool towels. The exception was your spa manager, who tracked down what seemed to be another staff member's half used bottle of sunscreen to give to us when your shop and spa were both completely our of sunscreen. Putting a mandatory service charge o
- adam (8/5): - Nice relaxing stay
- Hayley (10/5): Amazing and worth the extra money if you can afford it - Customer service and attention to detail was amazing. We felt so taken care of and they took a lot of extra steps to make our stay special (we were celebrating my partner's birthday - which happened to be on Christmas). Thank you so much to all the staff that helped us! We loved everything - we wish we could have stayed longer but it wasn't right for our budget.
- Phylecia (10/5): Incredible stay! - Most relaxing stay I’ve every had!
- William (10/5): Another Great Stay at Kimpton Mas Olas - This was probably the 4th or 5th stay at Kimpton Mas Olas. The rooms are spacious with lots of natural light.
The bathtub in addition to the shower was great. The entire staff of the hotel are remarkably intelligent and genuinely caring about their work and are just plain nice human beings.
The restaurant options on site are great. The food is excellent at each of there. We had a wonderful walk down the beach... probably a mile or so..... absolutely beautiful.
- KALPESH (10/5): - Selected ocean front view premier king and allocated room # 204 so nice view, very near to their Kahal Restaurant bar. Clean property and very nice great customer services by all staff members. Inside of property is nicely maintained with local tropical vegetations like different types of Cactus. Their Botanical garden and spa is excellent too. Botanica restaurant is superb and good to visit all evenings of stay. Main road to entrance road work is much needed by local municipality and direction boards are also needed on the roads.
- Andrew (2/5): - This place was absolutely awful. Poor service, heat not working in the buildings, pickleball courts advertised don't even exist. Incredibly expensive and not remotely worth the cost. Only slight positive was the food.
- Maria (10/5): - Absolutely stunning property, friendly and accommodating staff.
- Merrill C. (10/5): This place is Heavenly <3 - From beginning to end everything was perfect! My son and I were treated like royalty. Stunning unique property, very quiet and serene. The beds were super comfy and many fine details throughout!…Nothing was overlooked! We enjoyed our stay very much and I’m looking forward to coming back with my husband and friends.
Ps..The arugula salad at Botanica was amazing!
- doug (10/5): - Unique and uncrowded
- William (10/5): - Went for two nights for our honeymoon. Stunning property right on an empty beach. Staff, food and drinks were all top notch. Will definitely go back!
- Jack (10/5): - Overall it was phenomenal. Some insect issues but I will be back!
- Francisca Leyva (10/5): - Loved the quiet space, organic food to table. All staff were excellent
- Maria Florencia (10/5): - The most peaceful trip I've ever had. gorgeous property and rooms. amazing staff. It was very quiet and relaxing.
- Sia (10/5): - The people are the number 1 reason why I would go back. Armando runs the property and has put his heart and soul in making sure you are seen. The accommodations are so clean modern and welcoming! Chef Sandro is just the icing on the cake. His food creations will leave you with wonderful memories.
- Liza (7/5): Good - The place The equivalent between price and hospitality comparing the rate and the standard from what I’m paying for . They promesa to be a luxury hospitality and they charge like if they were but they are far less
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Off-season = l
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tristan (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): We've officially found our new spot! - Our new favorite. This is what a couples retreat should be... beachfront villa, farm to table food, service etc...
Think Amangiri in Baja. Except everything about Rancho is better!
- Aleksandra (8/5): We had a great time! - Beautiful remote location with lush garden and great Spa. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, especially Chris! Food options are very limited.
- Miki (10/5): - I absolutely loved our stay at Rancho Pescadero. We typically stay at another secluded resort but wanted to switch it up and we're glad we did! The grounds are immaculate and the rooms with their views are like no other. If you like a modern vibe with low lighting and a cozy atmosphere, that's what you'll get with this room. We had a panoramic view of the ocean with a rooftop and wow it was incredible. Hearing the ocean waves day and night was so soothing. Food is out of this world fresh and so filling. The gym, spa, and gardens are impeccable. It's serene and peaceful through out.
If I had to give any feedback, it would be as follows:
1. The pool did not have good service. You had to go up to the bar anytime you needed anything, even water. It was odd because there were 3-4 guys around but never coming to ask if we wanted anything. I just found that quite odd.
2. The food took a while to be served so order early.
3. Walkways at night need better lighting to get back to your room
4. They need one more restaurant. Botanica is amazing but maybe one more lower key restaurant would be nice to have as an option.
5. Do not play club music when people are just trying to sleep, read, and relax by the pool at 10am. They turned it off but it would come on randomly and was not peaceful at all.
Shoutout to these amazing staff members: Gloria, Andres, Alejandro, Oscar, and Andy from the shop.
Cannot wait to return some day when more of it is built up!
- Kari (10/5): the food was amazing! - it was quiet, clean, beautiful, and the staff were amazing. NA
- Gayle (10/5): Stunning resort, fabulous food, exceptionally well trained staff! - Healthy!
- robert (8/5): - Property is still being built out
- William (10/5): - We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From the check in to housChef Sand
- Archibald (10/5): Absolutely stunning hotel, but rent a car if you expect to leave the grounds - Right on the beach, quiet and calm environment. Amazing food, friendly staff. Beautiful grounds with daily yoga and amazing spa. A true oasis, we will definitely be back! Just a few suggestions for the hotel. 1) music at the pool...read the room! No one wants to hear house music at 11am while everyone is just chilling/reading/drinking coffee, it was jarring!
2) the hotel could improve options for exploring nearby area. We stayed for several days and were eager to explore nearby Todos Santos, however, the hotel doesn't have many options for travel arrangements if you haven't rented a car upon arrival. The only option is to rent a private driver at $400 round trip (!!!!) which makes going out to dinner quite the event! It would be great if there was some sort of shuttle running continuously on a schedule from the hotel to Todos Santos and/or nearby beaches, there's so much to explore in the area! There's a super cute restaurant up the dirt road maybe 20 minutes walking from the hotel but the walk is very unpleasant, narrow and bumpy, so there's almost no way to get to it! It made us feel stuck at the hotel. We'll definitely rent a car next time.
- Carol (10/5): - Mexico travel is new to me. But, WOW, Rancho Pescadero sets the bar at an unbelievable height! The beautifully appointed rooms, the creative and delicious cuisine, and the attentive friendliness of the staff make this resort a “must-see.” And, special extra touches (like a mini breakfast left at your door every day) distinguish this property from other high end resorts. I’ll definitely return.
- Greg (10/5): - Very good soft opening. Beautiful rooms with a fabulous view of the ocean. Excellent chef who visited me to be sure I was pleased.
- PLa (10/5): When you want to really go off the grid! - I love this place! I love the fact that you don't sign for every drink and meal you eat. You don't have to think, everything is done for you. Just unwind. If you are a type A that needs an explanation and reason for everything, this is not the place for you. If you want to de-stress, take a yoga class if you want, relax around a pool and chill - this is your place - no TV. Just peace. Bring your books or kindle and unwind.
- Barry (10/5): - delightful
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful change of pace from the madness of Cabo San Lucas.
Great staff and beautiful property!
- Vickie (10/5): Dont miss a stay at Rancho Pescandero - We came here after a week in Cabo. What a wonderful resort. The setting, the service, food. I can not say enough good things about this resort. Truly 5*
- Jones (10/5): - Welcoming and friendly staff, Edwardo was ever so helpful. They aim to please. Relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend!
- Jess (8/5): Great hotel with great service - This is a beautiful hotel that provides great service. Their motto is"just ask". They do their best to accommodate all requests and they certainly made all of mine happen. They're a friendly serviceable group that provide top notch service. My car broke down more than an hour away and they sent someone to help me get back to the hotel. They always go the extra mile. Even the way they clean the rooms is fantastic. They move furniture and get into the space. The only draw back I found and it wasn't a big deal, but an area for improvement, is the dinner menu. Though the food was good it needed more variety and different options for different days. One special a day wasn't enough. After a few days of only the same options on the menu we were bored. Otherwise, it's a perfect place to come and relax. It's quiet and you are not fighting with anyone for a palapa on the beach. Highly recommend it!
- Esther (8/5): Restful hotel - This is a great hotel if you work hard and want a restful place to escape. Our room was the equivalent of a five star hotel. The view of the water was breathtaking from the large deck. The bartender, Daniel, really has a passion for his work. I don't even drink but he got me to try (for free) some drinks that were fantastic.
- Leah (10/5): Lovely in every way - Beautiful location, tasteful design, attentive staff, wonderful food and drink.... already planning my next trip back. Can't recommend enough. Go just for the perfect pool!
- diana (10/5): - Magical
- Jennifer (8/5): - Ocean view rooms mean you need to lean out the balcony and look behind you to see the ocean. The suites are worth the money as they have Better views and just more space.
- Sergio (10/5): Great place to relax - This honeymoon stop was the best. A nice change from the loud life in Cabo. I want to come back every year. Service was great. The place was nice and quiet. The rooms were clean. The design of the hotel was unique and very impressive. The food at every meal was so good. I have not one thing to complain about.
- william (10/5): Remarkable ! - This is a remarkable place. The hotel was full when we were there, yet there was always the sense that we were nearly alone. There was never a wait for anything, everything was quiet and relaxed, the staff was always genuinely friendly. We can't say enough good things about the staff… intelligent, thoughtful, real… nothing obsequious or overly formal and yet they provided the best and most helpful service.
We're not big on hotel restaurants for dinner, preferring generally to head into town (wherever we are) and see the sights and get a sense of the place and people. The restaurant at Rancho Pescadero, however, was beautiful physically and served remarkably good food with local flavors.
We found our favorite palapa early on and it was always available to us… one of the most tranquil vacations I can ever remember.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing!!! - Staff was wonderful, friendly and fun!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - setting is great, facilities great, staff great. All excellent.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Gorgeous Facilities - We stayed at Rancho Pescadero for four nights. The hotel common areas (restaurants, pools, gardens) are beautiful. Our room was very small with little space beyond the bed. The majority of hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - a few notable exceptions. The restaurants/bars are very expensive - expect to pay almost double for similar food/drinks as outside of the hotel. There are few options to eat/drink nearby so be prepared to drive down a poor quality road should you decide to dine elsewhere. The beach is not swimmable at all and I didn't see a single person sunbathing there during our stay. Given the price I would consider other options next time I visited the area.
- Ron (10/5): Off the beaten path - Small and beautiful resort with a staff that is welcoming and friendly. Two pools and 2.5 miles of private sandy beach. My only regret is that we had to leave after the first night because of the worst storm in history was coming. The staff got us booked in to a safe hotel. I want to go back when I can.
- Daniel M. (10/5): A magical place. Fantastic staff. You can´t go wro - My wife and I had an incredible time. We stayed for only four days, and wished we had stayed more nights. The staff is very friendly and never say no to any requests. The food was exceptional and the overall hotel concept was a 10/10.
- Ratbag1 (10/5): The perfect escape - We stayed here for a couple of nights as a change last week after 5 days on the east side of Baja in a villa. Right from the moment of arrival everything was like being in a perfect moment, from the greeting and welcome from the staff to the food, room, pool and sheer helpfulness of everyone.
- Rodolfo (10/5): Just paradise - Excellent personalized service, a wonderful place to relax. Everyone knows you and refer to each person by name with a pleasant smile. We're VIP all the time.
All you need to surf, go to the beach or go to another beach you lend in the hotel. Excellent relationship value - cost.
It was a great experience and we will certainly go back next year.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great spot to hang out and relax - Fantastic stay. Wonderful hotel with great staff.
- Tucker (10/5): Our new favorite place! - We were told about RP and looked forward to our visit. Never did we imagine what a wonderful place it would be. Every detail, from start to finish, exceeded our expectations. If you enjoy long walks on the beach, incredible views, delicious authentic food, and serenity, this is the place. We will be back next year!
- Luanne (10/5): Rancho Pescadero - Amazing. Service first class. A small intimate resort.
- Susan (10/5): Luxury getaway - This is by the far the best place I have stayed hands down !! It's only rival by my standards was the Witchery at the Castle in Edinburgh Scotland and we paid over 500 euro a night there . The attention to detail is seen everywhere you look !!! The grounds are immaculate, food outstanding, service friendly and rooms comfortable .. If you want privacy, relaxation luxury and a tropical paradise away from the tourists go here !!! If you don't stay away and don't ruin it for the rest of us.
- Al (10/5): Exactly what I was looking for. - The hotel exceeded my expectations. The restaurant was wonderful - ended up eating there both nights of our two night stay even though I was set on heading into town. The grounds were peaceful and it was so nice to be so close to the ocean.
- Drew (10/5): Rad. Peaceful. - Oh man. This place was awesome. I'm a California type, and there were plenty of California types around - at least the type that talk about organic food and surfing, yet can afford to stay here for a weekend. That may or may not be everyone's scene, but I loved this hotel. Room has huge open face (you can close it if you want) and is very comfortable. Loved automatically receiving coffee and fruit in the morning. Everything we consumed here was delicious. Loved the hot tub at night. Definitely would visit again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved it! - This beach front gem is located on a beautiful, pristine stretch of Baja coastline. It's close to amazing surf, Todos Santos and plenty of other fun things to do but somehow manages to feel wonderfully secluded. The views are spectacular, the setting is oh so romantic, the service is outstanding -friendly and genuine, the food fantastic, and the rooms are stylish... We didn't want to leave! We'll been telling all our friends about this place and are already making plans for a return visit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful hotel in serene setting - Amazing hotel and very diligent staff. Carla - manager - is a gem, making sure that guests are satisfied and enjoying their stay. Rooms are just lovely and spotless - a short walk to miles of golden beach. On site yoga studio is another plus.
