We used the gym during our visit. The staff were polite and helpful. The rooftop view of the city skyline was beautiful. Our room was tidy and clean and worth the price. The hotel was connected directly to an urban shopping mall which was very convenient. We had the breakfast buffet on our first morning. The huge selection of food was both delicious and a tremendous value. I would highly recommend any visitors to Zhongshan stay at the Hilton.

The hotel staff was super helpful with giving us local recommendations and could help us in fluent English when needed as well. Our room was huge and we enjoyed the big bathtub and spacious washroom. Everything was very clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. We couldn’t hear any neighbours from our room and rested very soundly at night. The hotel had a beautiful rooftop for scenic viewing. Super romantic for couples visiting

W2225FJphilipc (10/5): A real gem in a small city - My 2nd stay in this hotel and was very happy with it. This Hilton was very centrally located at about 30 minutes taxi ride from the passenger ferry terminal. It was on top of a huge commercial / entertainment shopping complex which offered all you may need as a visitor, business or pleasure wise. Staff had been attentive and efficient from door to counter. Check-in took just a few minutes and I was in my preferred room on high floor. Spacious with big king bed and big flat panel TV providing local/Hong Kong/ and selected international programs. Large bathroom offered classic bathtub and separate shower and toilet booths. Very tidy and clean with everything working well to the high Hilton standard, The real surprise was its free high speed WiFi connection which seemed not restrictive at all where you may connect with the world through your usual app including google, WhatsApp, instagram, YouTube etc., and websites usually restricted or blocked. A popular hotel also for local citizens due to its many restaurants and entertainment offerings. However it maintained a very cozy and quiet environment once you reached the floors of guest rooms. A dummy room card was already in the main switch slot which pre-cooled the room to a very comfortable temperature in this warm and somehow humid weather. Breakfast started at 6:30am at the cafe which was spilt into two main dining areas tailored to suit western and Asian patrons. Ample selection of prepared food items as well as open kitchen for a wide variety of both western and Chinese/Asian dishes. All of the above would cost you around USD100 taxes included. A very good deal indeed. Highly recommended.

After looking around for a long time, we finally booked Hilton Zhongshan Lihe, as we always feel more assured with international chain hotels. We had a wonderful experience checking in at the hotel. All the staff were warm and welcoming with big smiles, especially Summer and Ivy who handled our check-in. They patiently and thoroughly introduced all the hotel's services and details, making us feel right at home, and even kindly upgraded our room for free. The room was well-equipped with all excellent facilities, making our stay during this Zhongshan trip extremely satisfying. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Lester (9/5): Comfy stay close to a commercial area - Clean & comfy room with one of the best rain showers I’ve ever had. Bed & linen were so soft & restful & the space is roomy with a great view from the 33rd floor. Biggest pool I’ve seen in a 5-star hotel that’s kept clean. Staff were very friendly. Speak slowly in English if you don’t know Mandarin. For a 5-star hotel, I expect better than instant coffee in the room. The fridge does not get very cold & there’s no such thing as a mini-bar though you get 4 free bottles of water daily. Breakfast is ok & lean towards continental western food. The dimsums were a disappointment as its mostly vegetarian though a good selection of different congees. For the price I think its disappointing but you don’t have a choice because shops nearby don’t open early.

The front desk clerk insisted to take an incidental deposit of entire room stay although I have clarified to him that it was pre agreed that I should only pay 500 Yuan ..not until I have demonstrated this to him via my booking.com correspondences with the hotel then he changed his mind and agreed to waive off the security deposit payment, though I was welling to pay 500 as agreed.. we were Group of 4 and each one of us was charged a security deposit differently although our bookings were pretty much identical.. there should be a clear clause which would clarify how much would the person pay for security rather than leaving it to the front desk staff to decide..

JeffreyAu (8/5): Hotel To Consider - Hilton Zhongshan Downtown Hotel - A very comfortable stay at the Hilton Zhongshan Downtown Hotel. Though the frontage may not be very impressive, but it has the advantage of being centrally located with direct access to the Lihe Mall and it's in the heart of a busy Business District. It is also very close to many Retail Outlets, Restaurants and Entertainment Centers. The reception staff speaks several dialects and are very hospitable and accommodating. The lobby ambience is well lighted and warm. The room is quite spacious, though not extraordinary in terms of its furnishing & decor but its comfortable. It is also conveniently connected (not too far from the hotel) to some of the top attraction tourist sites such as Zhongshan Zhan Park, Sun Yat Sen's Residence Memorial Museum. Transportation is rather easy and convenient especially on mobile contact. The Hilton chain is a reputable name and within the hotel has its own restaurants, cafe and other health facilities. Overall, a good place to stay and easy access to locations to discover and enjoy the wonders of Zhongshan. In my opinion, its value for money to stay in this high rated hotel.

Bock (8/5): Very good - Bath tub.. Toilet at lobby need room card to access. Since I had checked out inthe morning and only returned to collect my luggage I didn't has card to assess to the Toilet at ground level. However staffs is helpful to lend us her pass.

hongkongdecolover (10/5): Wonderful experience! - We went back to Zhongshan to visit some of our relatives, we booked this hotel because it is very convenient to everywhere and is at downtown. You will find snacks nearby, supermarkets and 2 major shopping malls. We booked the 60 sq. meter room but being upgraded to 90 sq. meter with executive lounge access. Not only this, the next day we were stuck at Zhongshan because of the strong wind, ferries all closed, the hotel offered us the same price booked for 60 sq. meter but still upgraded us to 90 sq. meter. This is actually very generous. Thank you team and taking care of us during our hassle.

Victor (10/5): Best hotel in Zhongshan - For me still the best place to stay in zhongshan. Very good gym and pool. Excellent location. It is connected to a mall with a wide selection of restaurant , coffee shop and a very nice grocery that sells everything.

Tsz (10/5): - Hilton Zhongshan hotel is conveniently located above a large mall where there is plenty of food and shopping choices. Their service is very good as the concierge team was very helpful to guide us as visitors on not just directions but the ways of China such as ordering items through their Meituan app or booking cars using DiDi (like Uber but in China).

Wong (8/5): Very good - the hospitality services of the staff is excellent. I particularly like to praise the warm and intimate services of the staff Summer who welcome us into the hotel. She helped us a lot in particularly helping us to get a taxi and reserved a seat for us to enjoy the live performance at the Horizon Bar. She also advised us to go to the top floor to have a Panasonic view of the city. Added bonus is that we have a FULL Moon to share with on the white Valentines. The diligence services of the front desk staff Hin also deserved our prasse. Overall, the service is excellent despite that the hotel wasn't a new one. Nothing except that the fridge wasn't cold enough and that there were no cold drinks when we needed in the middle of the night.
