• Sina (9/5): Love Rotorua and Crash Palace - The stuff was super friendly and always there when I needed something! Also the hostel was really good located, near to the i-site and waterfront as well as supermarkets. Great facilities, and they also have a hot tub! My room was near the stairs, so i could hear people walking up and down, but that was easy for me to blend out.

• DenSchu (10/5): - Really really liked this place!! It is simple and nothing fancy but GREAT price and really good location with a whole street of free parking right outside the door. Also kitchens are daily cleaned and good equipped. Beds are spacious and comfortable and the 4 dorm is really nice and quiet as well. Had actually the best time here in NZ. Good price for washing and drying, too. 👍👍 Nothing, I really can't complain. Maybe just an idea to offer the hobbit or lord of the rings movies to watch on the big television in the entrance area. Easy and cheap activity. 😊👍

• David (10/5): - I came here again, and it feels like coming home. Now that it’s May and the weather is getting colder, the heater in the room is finally warm too — it’s really cozy. I highly recommend this place to everyone. There was even a gathering on Friday night, and I was truly envious watching them spend such a wonderful weekend filled with laughter and happiness.

• David (10/5): - Very nice, I’d give it a 10. This is already my third or fourth time staying here this year. I’ll be back again tomorrow night. I really like the single room here. I’m not sure why, but the Wi-Fi signal on the night of the 3rd was unstable and kept disconnecting. Both of my phones had the same issue. I hope the hotel can look into this problem.

• Nicky McFarlane (10/5): - At 10pm, it's quite time, and we went over for the rotorua marathon and it was quite from 10pm till we left at 7am.bed was comfortable had our own shower and toilet in off our bedroom. The day was relaxing, the place was clean and staff friendly. Not their fault but mine, if I'd book a bit earlier the price would have been better.

Beds where ok, its just that they move a lot if the other person needs to climb up or get down. Bathrooms ok, where a little bit smelly but I think its because of the water of the area and not because they need cleaning. Kitchen a little bit small. Common areas where nice. I recommend it. Close to shops, food etc. Toilets were seperate to the men’s and shower was great. Noisey floorboards (when you walked around) and stairs. Didn’t want to disturb anyone.

• Still (10/5): - absolutely one of my favourite hostels yet. Staff were super friendly and all the facilities were amazing, super comfy. they also have a hot tub which is a great addition to relax at the end of the day.

• Nicolas (9/5): Bel endroit, de belles personnes, une proximité immédiate du Centre ville et activités. 100% validé! - L'établissement est idéalement situé, proche du centre ville de Rotorua, des jardins du gouvernement ou encore du Polynesian Spa, offrant à 6 min à pied un PAK'N'SAVE, Warehouse, fast food (McDo, BK, Subway, etc.). L'équipe est très accueillante et bienveillante, avec sourire et accompagnement. Ils sont à l'écoute pour vous mettre à l'aise et vous aider autant vis à vis de l'établissement que des questions sur la Ville / activités. L'endroit est très propre, coloré et chaleureux, avec deux espaces cuisine bien dotés, un espace extérieur permettant BBQ et détente, ainsi qu'un Jacuzzi-spa, babyfoot, et un coin buanderie. Le petit chat Blake nous accompagne pour les repas, ce qui est un plus si vous venez en famille. La chambre est simple, mais propre, avec lits confortables, un ventilateur est fourni, ainsi que le linge de maison. Une belle expérience pour un rapport qualité-prix imbattable au vu de l'emplacement / confort fourni et des places de parking gratuites devant l'établissement. Merci Les seuls bémols que j'ai relevé sont l'absence de meuble ou table dans la chambre, permettant de poser des affaires, il n'y a que deux chaises et des rangements dans le meuble-lit (inclus dans sa structure). Une commode ou petite table aurait été parfaite pour compléter l'offre déjà de qualité. De plus, dans la cuisine du bas, seulement 1 des trois plaques de cuisson fonctionne correctement, les autres galèrent à chauffer, il faudra donc juste s'armer de patience pour cuisiner. Mais bon, globalement, ça n'empêche pas d'y être bien et d'apprécier l'établissement.

• Jens aus Gelnhausen (9/5): – we would happily stay again. - Ein angenehmes und lebendiges Backpacker-Hostel in Rotorua. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und international, und die Unterkunft ist gut organisiert. Während unseres Aufenthalts gab es einen Feueralarm (ein Steak lag zulange in der Pfanne ;-), der jedoch sehr professionell und ruhig gehandhabt wurde. Das Personal reagierte schnell und sorgte dafür, dass alles sicher und geordnet ablief. Dadurch hat man gemerkt, dass hier verantwortungsvoll gearbeitet wird. Insgesamt ein guter und unkomplizierter Aufenthalt – Daumen hoch. Absolutely nothing that detracted from our overall experience
• David (10/5): - This is my third time staying here and I really love it. The place is very clean, and the bed sheets are always fresh. The private single room is my favorite. I hope I’ll be able to stay here again next time. The only small drawback is the limited number of private single rooms. If there were more available, it would definitely increase my chances of booking, as they are often fully booked when I try. I really hope more single rooms can be added in the future.

Every time I go to Rotorua, this is where I stay — it truly feels like a little home :) The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The beds are very comfortable, and the curtains give you a nice sense of privacy, which makes a big difference. I also did a couple of trail runs while staying there, and it’s the perfect place to relax and recharge afterward. A big thank you to the amazing team for making my stay so enjoyable — I’ll definitely be back!

• adi43 (7/5): Great but room for improvement - I really liked the comfortable bed. Towels, soap plus shampoo and conditioner was provided. It's a social hostel and there were lot's of people to connect with throughout my time there. I didn't like the fact that the towels weren't properly cleaned, there were still a lot of stains on them. The room was right on the corner of two busy streets, so it was noisy and noise cancelling headphones were needed.

• Susie (8/5): Great value - Staff were great- location was also great- Tight besise the Polynesiam spa and a quick walk to Eat Street. also lots of very friendly residents. Nice vibe. Also liked the pod bunks. Remote control wasn't working. And the lock on the door of our dorm was broken

Les espaces communs sont sympa, parfaits pour rencontrer d’autres voyageurs. Le personnel est très accueillant, toujours prêt à aider et à donner de bons conseils sur les activités à faire dans la région. La cuisine était parfois un peu encombrée aux heures de pointe.
