• Caswell (4/5): Disappointing. Won't be staying here again. - It was clean! Paying for parking is outrageous when it's as poor as theirs was. There isn't enough spots and it's hard to get around. Also, booking.com didnt tell me that I would have to pay for parking. The walls were paper thin. I could hear my neighbors loud and clear at 6 am. Also, there were patches in the closet that hadnt been painted or fixed. The shower was tiny and all the bathroom supplies were just thrown in a laundry basket under the sink.

Q is several of the spokes that makes this big wheel work! Her smile always brightens our day and she’s so helpful with even the smallest problem. Even with something as simple as a dough roller!! We consider her our friend in Park City and exchange texts throughout the year about visits. She introduced us to Benjamin, in his first year at Sunrise, who expedited our check in process. A delightful and friendly young man! Always smiling! The public spaces and rooms are all remodeled with new paint and decor. New appliances in the kitchen. Got into Sundance Film Festival frame of mind. Saw our first movie at Redstone. Today was our first day on the slopes. Utah is experiencing a drought but snow was abundant on the main runs because of snow making equipment. In fact, Q told us that the Canyons (our location) has more snow than the other ski resorts. Skiing was great! It’s going to be a great ski vacation!

Pool and jacuzzi as well as work out room located in the middle of the hotel. You can rent or have a membership package. My room was upgraded to the Birch building. It was beautiful and large with a full kitchen and fireplace. Easy access to all restaurants. No restaurant located in the hotel. Staff were friendly. Some additional maintenance is needed but not a showstopper. Clean with noise level low. Good value compared to some other hotels.
• jw-fv (10/5): Ski vacation - Sunrise Lodge is our favorite timeshare stay for ski vacations. Here’s our report for Dec 2025: Pros this trip: Sunrise Gondola entrance is right out the back door. New carpet and paint in the hallways. New appliances. Unit was super clean. Staff at this resort is the best in the HGV system. Standouts this trip: Front Desk Mgr Hailey, Concierge Q, Engineer Francisco. Cons this trip: lobby hot beverage machines have been replaced by a quick market. No coat hooks in our unit. Tips: Slot “II” is for laundry detergent. Need more towels? Need a bag of trash collected? Want a blender or crock pot? Ask the front desk, and Housekeeping will respond promptly. If anything isn’t working property, a light bulb is burned out, etc please ask the front desk: Engineering will respond promptly, and it’s the only way they’ll know there’s something that needs repair. Want a more comfortable experience sleeping on the sofa bed? Request a comforter and additional pillows. 3 people can stay comfortably in a 1-bedroom unit, as the sofa bed is firm, and it has 2 full bathrooms.

• LDJohnny (4/5): Not a family hotel for sure - We had a very bad experience with this hotel. Very disappointed there was no loyalty recognition, being a Hilton member for over 20 plus years. We booked a family vacation, with two rooms, specifically asking for two queens in each, and they had nothing except Kings. This was off peak time, and they cited planned room maintenance (on the 3rd day of our stay, but still could not get a queen the first 2 nights). Our 3 adult children had to share a bed, in which one ended up on the dirty floor. (no couch or sofa beds, also no cots). No housekeeping services, and no notice that there wouldn't be any (minimum 5 day stay if you want that, they said). Asked for additional blanket, (to sleep on the floor), and it was never brought, had to go to desk to get, same with extra towels, since with no housekeeping, all towels were wet on floor, had to go get ourselves. Only delivered two, no hand towels. Rooms were outdated and had a terrible odor. Shower retained that lovely ankle-deep water that doesn't drain (in both rooms). Requests for various things were denied. We checked out of the hotel after two days and relocated. Which was also a hassle, as they denied the cancellation. It was the worst Hilton experience we have ever had, and we always stay at Hilton brand hotels. This was supposed to be a Grand Vacations Club. Don't be fooled. It was nothing more than a regular hotel room, which was on the smaller side, FYI.

The lockout afforded each couple with privacy, but the huge living space was great when we gathered together. We actually had 3 full bathrooms, another plus. We had a studio and a 1 BR which gave us 3 bathrooms. We called ahead and requested a room facing the courtyard since we had heard the construction noise was loud in some areas. Our rooms were 1st floor across from the pool and hot tubs. Great location for us. We thought the concierge could have been better. They were more interested in booking you for a HGV presentation than helping with general questions. It would be nice if the resort had a nice hand out of trail hikes that were rated so seniors could more easily choose. Other resorts have these and it would be great for those of us traveling outside of ski season. During this time some restaurants were closed but we still found several good places to eat. Our favorites were Maxwells and Top of Main Brewery!

• Anita (6/5): Sleepless in Park City, UT - Check in is normally at 4 pm. I arrived a bit early around 12:45 pm, because I wasn't feeling so good. I was hoping to get into a room. I was told that they put on a priority checkin and would let me know when my room was made available. Finally at 2:45 pm my room was available. I got into my room and there was a loud vibrating sound, in which I thought was the air conditioning (A/C) so, I immediately turned off the A/C and the noise seemed to subside. Shoet before going to bed I hear the A/C being turned back on again, but this time it wasn't coming from my room. The room started to vibrate under my feet and it was a constant buzzing, like a fridge running all night long. I got into bed however, couldn't sleep because of this noise. Finally, it stopped around 12:15 am. I fell asleep and was woken up at 2:30 am and needless to say I was awake the rest of the night. The following noght, I came to my room at a little after 9 pm. I immediately remembered the sounds when I opened up my door, because upon opening my door i could feel the floor vibrating under my feet. So, I wondered why aren't the others bothered by noise. So i put ny ears against the walls in the hallway and only my room had all of the activities. So I called downstairs and she sent a gentleman up to take a look. I explained to him what I was hearing. He explained to me yeah, unfortunately when they biult these rooms this room ( which was my room) had all the A/C ducting converging.

• wendellh2023 (10/5): Great Place for a Vacation - This facility is top notch. It is in a great location near many activities, restaurants, shopping and beautiful scenery. The facility is well maintained and the staff is great. Everyone we dealt with exhibited professionalism and compassion. Any questions or requests were handled promptly. I recommend this facility highly. If we travel to this area in the future we will definitely stay here.
• WinstonTravelers (4/5): Regretted this hotel choice and will not choose to return - A very disappointing showing for the Hilton brand. Booked a studio for a two night stay, but abandoned the stay after the first night, primarily because the bed was too uncomfortable for a second night and no alternative room was available. The king mattress was too soft and had such a valkey in the center both sleepers had to struggle to avoid rolling into one another through the night. Overall the facility showed wear and tear, feeling tired and ill maintained. The sink handle wouldn't turn off the hot water, the toilet handle stuck on every flush, and the shower head hose leaked profusely. It was ironic that a location that is intended to sell you on vacation packages for future stays was sufficiently unsatisfactory to ensure we will never choose to stay there again. We did report the primary issue (the bed) to the hotel, but they were unable to provide another room with a king bed. When we advised the hotel that we were checking out early, the only response to our concerns was a proforma apology and "will let management know".

• scott (8/5): - Great property, immediately adjacent to the main village st the canyons base of park city resort. Summer stay, excellent hiking and bike riding at the resort which is less than a 5 minute walk. Most of the village is shut down during the summer but the restaurants that were open were all excellent. No restaurants on property but within 1-3 minute walk. The Hilton Grand vacation club canyons is a little dated but in excellent condition. Parking garage does not quite have enough spots when the hotel is near capacity as they appear to be utilizing 8-15 spots as mini warehouses or repair facilities which really only impacted us once when we are dinner too late in the evening and got back to a valet only situation. The concierge was excellent and super friendly. The cleaning staff was beyond excellent evening performing a daily touch up clean replacing towels and keeping the bathrooms and kitchen tip top which is rare during a multi day stay. Only real complaint, albeit minor, was the young man at the front desk that forgot to at least pretend to be excited upon our arrival and to wish us a great stay and then the same person checked us out and forgot to thank us for our stay and hope we return. Other than that I would say for the value, we booked through Orbitz, it was incredible.

Loved the feel of the enclosed courtyard area with the pool, hot tubs, firepit sitting areas and grilling areas, and landscaped shaded walking paths, all surrounded by the buildings. HUGE space but with a very cozy feel to it. Apartments with balconies overlooking the courtyard gave it a village atmosphere. Staff is incredibly polite. Love it here. Definitely worth coming back!

• former_RX (10/5): Enjoy Canyons Village - The surrounding construction of the new gondola continues. I called ahead to better understand what else might affect our stay. Everything went well with our 3-nights. The hotel was staff was excellent. Matt-the-valet was great answering my impromptu questions. The spacious one-bedroom suite was clean and all worked: jacuzzi, chromecast from iPhone to TV, kitchen appliances, etc. This hotel was base camp to explore other Northern Utah sites.
• Michael (10/5): - This is a really good property, and worth staying here if you can find a room in the resort for a good price. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, whenever I am in the Salt area.

• DM_Lautie (8/5): Wonderful Stay in Off-Season - There was much to say about the stay and accommodations at Sunrise Lodge. Including the location which is excellent. The renovations seem to be great and were noticed with some new furniture and kitchen accommodations. New grills were great to have a meal at "home". The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful when ask. The one drawback that made it a 4 star was the pool area. There is NO ability to walk between lounge chairs and the main pool. So much space was left on other side that seemed waste space that is not used. Some poor planning could cause possible issue with guest. There would need to be some redesign but could be worth the investment over a possible liability. We also had all 3 of the unit safes (3BDRM) not working; strange all were not working properly. It was not a big deal and was rectified right away. In all, would consider staying here again through HGVC.

The fridge shelf was broke, there was a screw that was protruding when I tried to lock the bathroom door, they put us in a room with a handicap shower so it was difficult to bathe, the TV remote would not work and then the TV turned on by itself in the middle of the night which woke us up. Not bad but not good. The bed was comfy though, nice and firm.

Then the manager had the nerve to ask $25 for parking, when there was none. Manager offered nothing but excuses. Note to manager: UNDERSTAFFING IS YOUR FAULT!!! No access to my car the entire stay, unless I waited for the understaffed valet service. Never again!!!

• CArnold0229 (6/5): Don’t bother unless you are a Hilton Resort Owner - The resort is nice and the location is great. They are understaffed and have the same person running front desk, valet, and concierge. We were forced to valet park, even though this was not advertised. They said the garage was under maintenance. If they were able to park our cars there, I’m sure we were perfectly capable of it also. I believe it was all about $. The unit above us was very noisy during the day with a lot of banging around. Said they were renting the unit above us on a daily basis and it was housekeeping (doubtful, it was really loud for hours). After day one we asked to be moved elsewhere and were told that they would not accommodate us because we were RCI members and not Hilton owners. Keep in mind the resort was less than 50% full at this time. It is off-season. They were actually haughty about it. The resort itself is beautiful but do not expect to get treated well unless you are a Hilton owner.

• Paul (8/5): - We recently stayed at Hilton Grand Vacations Sunrise Lodge and had mixed feelings. The hotel is under renovation, which we weren’t told beforehand. Waking up to excavators and dump trucks outside the window at 7am was far from relaxing. Our room was in a small side building, but the walk to the main lodge was quick and easy. Check-in was lackluster. Staff seemed disinterested and offered little beyond handing over the key. When we asked about Hilton Honors perks, we were told “we don’t do that here,” despite a Hilton Honors sign prominently displayed at the desk. We weren’t informed about amenities or the impact of the renovations, so we had to figure it out ourselves. Parking is valet-only at $25 per night, with no self-park option, even with the property in its current state. The room had a nice layout but felt worn despite claims of recent remodeling. Trim pieces were loose, the shower head plate was dangling, and the shower had standing water upon arrival. That said, the outdoor areas are beautiful. The pool and fire pit areas are well done and make for a relaxing setting. The property has real potential. Overall, it’s a nice place in a great location, but our experience didn’t reflect typical Hilton Grand Vacations standards, especially at this price point. Hopefully things improve once renovations are finished.

• 726lewisg (10/5): Great Place for Family Reunion - Sunrise Lodge staff did a wonderful job hosting our family reunion, with wonderful hospitality and top-notch customer service. The front desk staff was courteous and prompt in reserving the Lodge’s shuttle for all 11 of us. As an owner, we parked for free with friendly and courteous valet service. The friendly concierge did an outstanding job recommending things to do and places to see for our entire family, despite it being offseason when many places were closed. The shuttle drivers offered friendly conversation during our many trips into town, sometimes providing door-to-door service to restaurants during non-busy times. Everyone enjoyed the spacious and comfortable 3 and 4 Bedroom suites, with full kitchens, which allowed the entire family to cook and eat meals together and to sit and chat. We also enjoyed the coffee machine in the lobby for our quick caffeine “fixes” throughout the day. We strongly recommend the Sunrise Lodge for visits to the Salt Lake City area and definitely plan to comeback in the future.

• Woodstockboys (10/5): Different vibe in the off season - We went during the off season so much of the sight seeing activities are closed. We still took full advantage of the resort, having coffee on the patio and utilizing the hot tub and fire pit at night. If you are planning on staying a while definitely go to the grocery. If you go up to town to eat, it is very expensive. The rooms are lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will be coming back.

The ski in location with a ski valet can't be beat. Accommodations are so comfortable and cozy. But best of all the people who work there are the best. Customer service is outstanding and it all starts with the GM. Raif sets the tone and everyone follows his lead. So if you want a truly memorable first class experience stay at Sunrise.
• L487WVmichaeld (10/5): Excellent choice near the gondola - I had an amazing 1 bedroom with full kitchen, dining room, living room, lounge area, mini bar, two bathrooms and a separate bedroom. It seemed very new and everything was extremely clean. There was a huge bathtub with jets that was great to soak in after a full day of skiing. They have a pool and two hot tubs on site. The entire place is clean. The staff is always available and extremely friendly. There was a coffee maker that could brew up to 12 cups and they supplied coffee for the whole trip. It was great to not have to go out and get coffee from this hotel. You are about a two or three minute walk to the gondola and there’s about a dozen restaurants Within five minute walking distance they’re building a new lift starting 2025. I don’t know when right outside the back of the hotel like literally 500 feet from the back exit. When I come back, I will certainly plan to stay here again. It has been a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay close to the slopes.
• 570monaw (10/5): My husband birthday week. - It was one of the best resort stays we have ever had. Everyone was very nice , they made you feel like home. Can't wait to come back this summer. We didn't want to leave. They did everything for us. Once we pulled up, all we had to do was check in and go to our spacious room . Exceptionally well kept and very clean. We are over 65yrs old and they took very good care of us. Thanks, Sunrise Lodge, for an unforgettable mountain experience.

• michellecL4228RR (2/5): Housekeeping Nightmare - Do not waste your time. We stayed here 3 nights and the housekeeping is terrible! The room had soiled shower curtains old bar soap in the shower from a previous guest! No pots in the room and broken burner. The people at the front were shocked the room was not up to par, but the housekeepers were rude they would not even talk to us when we greeted them after we asked for the room to be cleaned. They did not even offer us a different room we had to ask and then charged us for the parking pass that we did not return cause we wanted to get out of there!! Worst Hilton stay I ever had!!! Will never go back!! Save your time, making me rethink my Hilton timeshare ownership.

• joerL4334RK (10/5): Great HGVC Resort! - Our trip to Sunrise Lodge was our first trip "out West" and it did not disappoint! The lodge is well maintained in a gorgeous setting and close to so much. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and quite up to date. We have no complaints and hope to return.
