• Mark C (1/5): Very disappointed….. - Disappointed and Left Early Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately well below expectations, and we ended up leaving early because we were that uncomfortable. While we didn’t expect luxury, the experience we had didn’t match what was shown in the photos or described in the listing. * The photos online were incredibly misleading. What appeared to be a tranquil villa experience was far from the reality. We expected a private, relaxed setting but instead ended up in a noisy, basic environment that felt more like a budget hostel than a peaceful retreat. * Staff were sweeping and making noise from 6:30am every morning right outside our room. There was no chance of a quiet or relaxing sleep-in, which became frustrating very quickly. * There were only two lounge chairs by the pool despite the property being able to accommodate over 30 guests (I think). It made the pool area feel overcrowded and pointless as a space to unwind, so we didn’t use it. * The rooms, although clean, had no privacy. We had to keep the curtains fully closed at all times, which made the room dark and uninviting throughout the day. * We could hear guests in neighbouring rooms clearly through the walls. There was no soundproofing at all, which completely took away from any sense of relaxation or comfort. * The room setup was minimal and basic, just one pillow per person, one glass in the bathroom to share, and only one bath towel provided, with no hand towels or additional items. It felt like the bare minimum had been thrown together. * Our room was never serviced during the stay. In my room there was no “Make Up Room” sign available, and as a result, no one came to check or clean the room. * The doors were hard to lock and had large gaps around them, which let mosquitoes in overnight and made us feel exposed. * Access to the rooms involved crossing uneven stepping stones through muddy grass, which became slippery and awkward, especially when carrying our own bags. • menelva (2/5): Poor housekeeping, Great Staff - The staff are very nice and attentive. Always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are dirty and dusty. They need a thorough clean. Sheets are stained and not very clean. The toilets have dirt rings and a strong unpleasant smell, the shower rooms need a good clean and the picture frames need a good wipe down. Lighting is very poor in the room especially at night.

The soap for hands and body was not usable. Only one old towel for shower and face/hands. The place would need some improvements.

• Sally (1/5): Not worth the money! - Location and very friendly staff I booked the standard room for 11 nights. What a mistake I made! Room is super basic. It’s right behind the reception on level 1. Super noisy at night I hardly slept. When I complained their recommended solution was for to upgrade for additional $40/ night I already paid $80 per night so I said no. Later they offered 50% discount but I didn’t opt for the upgrade as it’s not worth it. The room is full of light as it has an open ceiling so that was another issue I had to manage. When I checked the deluxe room it has the same lighting issue although it sounded quieter given it located at the back. Room was full of flies and mosquitoes. Yes I knows it’s Bali but I am a frequent there and this is the first time I experienced this. Fridge was dirty. Stains on the floor. Toilet and shower were worn out and need an upgrade. Pool has only three lounges. Booking reviews are not true reflection of this property and the photos are not showing rooms actual condition. No cleaning unless requested and the shower items (shampoo, conditioner and hand washing products) smelled weird and the liquid was of an unknown brand as they were all kept in plastic bottles. Do yourself a favour and check Google reviews as it’s more accurate. I could have walked 10min further down the road and got a room in a guesthouse half the price including breakfast and less noisy. Extremely disappointed and will never stay there again.

It is a very basic room in my opinion. I was given the first room on the first floor after leaving the reception area which wasn’t really comfortable and it was loud in the morning especially when the house keeper was in and I could hear conversations in the reception area. The hotel was not booked up and there were plenty of rooms open so I was confused that I was given a room in that location since I know there were better rooms available. The hotel sheets were stained, not dirty but stained from use over time. Hotel towels were like a grey color and kind of worn also.

I booked the standard room which I found quite unclean and there was a bad smell. It was close to the reception and the busy road. The top part of one of the walls was open and I heard the road noice and rain even through my ear plugs. There was also a light coming in the room from top of the wall during the night. I asked if I can change room because of the noice and I had to pay to upgrade my room to a deluxe room. The deluxe room was allright, the noice wasn't as bad there and it was cleaner. I didn't like that you could not open the curtains because the people walking past would see in your room. Also in the deluxe room the curtains were broken and hanging unevenly in the window. Under the bed was dusty and not cleaned in a while. The towels were clean but grey and worn out. The other part of the safety lock was missing which made me feel a bit unsafe. On the way to the rooms there's a fountain that does not work. The pool area was ok, only 3 chairs to lounge on. Wifi was unrealiable sometimes working fine, sometimes not.

• Maharani (10/5): Exceptional - I had an amazing stay at the villa! It’s a hidden gem with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making sure everything was perfect during my stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for privacy and relaxation.
• Yuhang (10/5): Exceptional - The villa offers a peaceful escape in the heart of Ubud. The rooms are spacious and well-kept. The staff were friendly and always available to help. It’s the perfect place for those looking to unwind.
• Mereana (10/5): Exceptional - The villa’s setting is just stunning, surrounded by lush greenery. The room was clean and comfortable, and the open-air design gave it a very authentic Balinese feel. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking tranquility.
• Danielle (6/5): The position was excellent. It COULD be value for money if the property was maintained. - Location was excellent. As usual the Balinese staff were friendly and accomodating. The actual pool was clean. The pictures were not a true indication. The garden and pool area were neglected with cigarette butts amongst the pool furniture. The curtains in the windows were too small and very shabby allowing the light to stream in and a lack of privacy. Wi.fi was intermittent. Under bed was not cleaned.

• Phakin (10/5): Exceptional - The location is ideal, within walking distance of great local attractions. The room was clean and comfortable. Great choice for a quiet and restful getaway in Ubud
• Supalerk (10/5): Exceptional - The staff here are fantastic! They were always smiling and ready to assist with anything. The hotel itself is beautiful the room was spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay
• Reem (10/5): Cozy with great location - The location is amazing, the staff were so helpful and very nice, the villa is very cozy . The sounds coming from the room above us 😓 but it wasn’t that bad.
• Tristina (5/5): It’s located on a main road so is quite noisy. - The proximity to tourist amenities- cafes, restaurants, convenience stores, spas, money changer, pharmacy It was quite noisy being located on the main road and there was a nearby bar/restaurant that had live music playing in the evening. There was no hot water in the shower. The towels were old and worn.
• Hieu (10/5): Exceptional - Really happy to spend my night here. The room is really cozy, I can rest well. Even the staff is really helpful, they always help me with everything while keeing their smile up. Definitely will comeback for longer visit!

• Julia (8/5): Thanks to the staff for a pleasant stay. - A 20 min walk south from central Ubud this accomodation is on a thoroughfare with many cafes and convenience stores. Friendly staff and pool, well run. The street is busy with traffic and a restaurant nearby has live music loud at night. There are quieter zones.
