It’s clear that Andreas has really improved the place — the room was spotless, well-maintained, and felt very welcoming. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk from Hvar pier, which made exploring the town so easy. Andreas greeted me warmly, made me feel at home right away, and gave fantastic local recommendations that helped me experience Hvar like a local. My stay was nothing short of excellent, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

- Ian (8/5): A tough walk! - A little difficult to find. After a 20 minute walk uphill from the ferry. Comfortable room. Maybe not as clean as it could be, but nothing horrendous. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The photos like all these days, give an impression it is bigger than it is but when you spend so little time in the accommodation it isnt a problem. The balcony was a good size.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - L'accueil était très symphatique, par contre la chambre était vieille et mal entretenue (la poignet de la porte des toilettes se dévisait, fil éléctrique apparant, odeur des égouts camouflée par un paillasson). Ce qui nous a le plus dérangé, ce sont les coussins pour dormir: c'était des coussins de sofa durs et dont on ne pouvait pas mettre un housse. On n'avait vraiment le sentiment que le lit n'était pas propre. Rapport qualité prix, beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est. Sinon, la chambre est bien située.

She also washed all of our clothes at no extra cost and also welcomed us back in the future with a gift card. Good location set back in the more local area of Hvar but a short distance to restaurants and the sea. Would definitely recommend for the price.

- Emma (8/5): Trevligt och bra läge! - Är i helhet nöjd med boendet! Var lite mer slitet än vad det såg ut på bilderna. Men det fanns det man behövde och det låg bra till, nära till bad och centrum. Var bra service och smidig in och utcheckning. Minus var att det fanns myror i badrummet. Fanns en trevlig terass som vi utnyttjade mycket. Dock utan havsutsikt. Men i stort en supertrevlig vistelse!

Wi-Fi-nätverk fungerade inte, vilket värdinnan upplyste oss om att det kunde vara problem med. De kunde åtgärda detta med extra raouter om vi bett om det men då vi använde våra egna mobiler behövdes inte det.SängLampan var trasig. Det fanns inte kallvatten i kranen varför vi fick köpa vatten att ha på rummet. Hotellet var dyrt i förhållande till vad vi fick. Kan tyvärr inte rekommendera detta boende, trots trevlig personal.

Our host had the cutest dog that we could pet when we walked by and they showered us with useful information! The apartment was nice and the balcony with the sea view was great!

The only problem we had was the showers very low water pressure.

For example, mistakenly I had booked a smoking-room; upon my request the room was changed immediately with one even more comfortable. Rooms are very well equipped with all necessary furnitures, very clean and, new. Oustide also well finished and maintened. The Art -style of decorations also very nice. The Lady owner will instruct you on the best places to visit, and how to organize your vacation at the best.The location is very comfortable: in few minutes you can reach supermarkets , the city center, boat/scooter rental shops, beaches. Highly recommended.

- David (10/5): Great place to stay in Hvar - Great service from the start. Meeting the owner Anna was a pleasure and both her and her son Andreas were very accommodating. We were given coffee beer and chocolates as a hospitable welcoming along with Anna’s personal explanation of the area and her recommendations based off of our personal preferences. Overall it was a 10 out of 10 experience!

Our room had everything we needed including a sitting area outside with an umbrella. The room definitely smelled like smoke. This was either because previous guests didn't adhere to the no-smoking rule or because the owners smoke in their unit which is directly upstairs. The description on hotels.com wasn't accurate. No pillow menu and not on the water. Not being on the water was disappointing as that was a key reason why we chose this location.

Vi ble tilbudt et stort utvalg av snacks da vi kom, og eieren brukte nok hvertfall et kvarter på å sette seg ned sammen med oss for å dele både praktiske og hyggelige reisetips på Hvar. Etter dette ble fikk vi en hel flaske sjampanje som velkomstgave, og ble deretter vist ned til leiligheten. Veldig romslig, hadde alt vi trengte og var ren og i fin tilstand. Alt av elektriske konformiteter fungerte som det skulle. Tok 12-15 min å gå inn til selve havneområde i Hvar, men til gjengjeld var deg et rolig område som jeg lett bor i igjen. En enorm gjestfrihet og smilende eiere, jeg kommer veldig gjerne tilbake hit!😊

However the stove top did not work and I got moved into a regular hotel room for my last night with no tv (I think they messed up their bookings) None the less I didn't let it bother me - maybe that's why Ivana gave me a bottle of bubbles on arrival. Ivana and her son are very welcoming and the apartment is about a 10-15 min stroll from the port Hvar.

The neighbourhood was quiet, a bit to walk from the harbour, about 10min. Nearest restaurants and supermarkets only a few min's away. The staff was friendly and helpful. Be ware of the hot water from the tap - it really is boiling!

- dominique (6/5): une chambre, pas un appartement.. - D après la confirmation de réservation, je devais occuper un appartement de 80m2, avec coin salon sépare, une cuisine entièrement équipée, une télé 80 cm...au lieu de cela nous avons séjourne d une chambre de 15m2 avec réfrigérateur (bruyant). Et comme le nom de la pièce correspondait à la resa, pas de recours possible, et donc au final un mauvais rapport qualité prix. Cela dit, l accueil était sympathique (et l au revoir, un de nos rares logeurs à avoir eu cette attention), la maison à mi chemin entre une belle plage (cailloux) et le centre de hvar, accessible à 15-20 min à pieds

- Choi (10/5): 뷰좋고 무료주차장있는 귀여운 아파트 - 타운에서 도보로 약 5-7분거리로 주차장이 있어서 좋았어요 사진이 좀 별로인것같아서 걱정했는데 사진보다 훨씬 좋아요 깨끗하고 테라스가 있는데 조금 고지대에 위치해서 뷰도 좋습니다. 주인 아주머니가 넘 친절하셔서 또가고싶어요!
- Verified traveler (8/5): close to supermarket - Good apartment close to supermarket. Beware, though, the hot water is really really hot. It will literally burn you so when you use the faucet, make sure to not turn the hot water all the way. I think the water is close to boiling.

- Ken (8/5): Good value stay - Ivana is a lovely hostess. The place had a great porch/veranda and had all necessary amenities. The only downside is that it is a bit off from the central parts of Hvar Town and that it was hard to find. On the other hand it was closer to one of the best beaches in Hvar.
- Harrie en Marje (6/5): ruime kamer al te ver van centrum Hvar - Onze slaapkamer was ruim en kleurrijk ingericht. Er stond ook een tafeltje met twee stoelen waar we onszelf verzorgde ontbijt konden nuttigen. De eigenaresse had op ons verzoek gezorgd voor extra bekers, borden, en bestek. De badkamer was prima. Het afwassen moest gebeuren in deze badkamer: er was wel een plastic afwasteiltje, maar dat paste amper in de wasbak. Tijdens ons verblijf zijn de handdoeken 1 keer verschoond, maar dat gebeurde helaas pas op de laatste dag. De gastvrouw was vriendelijk en behulpzaam: zij gaf ons informatie over bezienswaardigheden, nabijheid van supermarkten, etc. Wanneer we terugkwamen van een uitstapje informeerde ze altijd hoe we het gemaakt hadden. Ons navigatiesysteem herkende de straat waarin het hotel zich bevindt niet. Een medewerker van het Touristen Bureau heeft ons op het goede spoor geholpen. De gastvrouw vertelde ons dat meer gasten die per auto arriveren dit probleem hebben. Volgens haar komt dat omdat de straat een nieuwe naam heeft gekregen.
- Rune (8/5): God leilighet med bra beliggenhet - Trivelig leilighet, men noe støy/lytt fra naborom. Godt utstyrt med bla kaffitrakter, hårføner mm. Savnet oftere renhold og skifte av håndklær. Meget trivelig vertinne.

- Johan (8/5): Billigt boende i lugnt område - Pape ligger lite avsides men är billigt och ägarna är väldigt trevliga och hjälper till om allt som man ber om. Vårt rum var mysigt med en väldigt trevligt balkong med utsikt över havet.

A dona Ivana que é a proprietaria é bastante gentil, me explicou tudo sobre a cidade no mapa, onde ir, onde comer o q fazer e tb sobre as ilhas vizinhas, porém o tempo ficou nublado e não ajudou...

- ercci (10/5): Nice and cozy - place was up in the hills of Hvar, but not too long walking from centre. Very quite and calm, living quarters only area. You could probably talk all day to the very nice hostel keeper there.

The staff were expecting us and knew us by name.It is a family owned hotel and they made us feel like home.The room was self contained and we had everything we needed to cook.We had our private balcony which offered us a great sunset view in the evening.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent location, close to a beach and to town - The location of these appartments is excellent, easy walking distance to a beach (Krizna Luka) and a 7 minute stroll to Hvar town centre. It's a slight walk uphill, but stairs can be taken to reach the appartment. From the beach at Krizna Luka, kayak trips are offered. The host, Ivana, is extremely friendly and helpful. Only small downside is that the appartments are not soundproof at all.

- Lani (6/5): Okay - The owners were very friendly. Stayed 2 nights. 15 - 20 minutes walk to Hvar dock. It isn't a 10 minute walk. The beds weren't very good, springy and a little uncomfortable. An outdated room but if your mostly out not relevant. Wifi worked. Not much wrong with the place, if your there for a few nights then it's fine.
- LUIZ RAFAEL (8/5): Good hostel - The hostess is a really nice person. Allowed us to check out later. They don't have too much info about sightsseing, tours etc. I recommend going to Information Center in Downtown and get a map. The room is very clean and has the essentials. The owner borrowed us a hair dryer. It's not really close from the center (port). It's a 20mins walk through the coast. At night it's a little dark around, but seemed to be secure. There's a market in a 5mins walk.

- cass (10/5): great value - had a comfortable night of rest here. convenient free parking. room had everything needed including fridge. owner (wife) was not there when we checked in and husband could not speak any english. regardless, it caused no inconvenience. we did not use the room much except to sleep and shower. hotel was a few minutes drive into old town which was walkable.

- SofnAlex (8/5): Cute stay - Firstly I would like to thank the lady in charge of a great stay- Ivana! She was very welcoming and hospitable. Location is a short walk from Hvar town (15mins) along the water which is beautiful. The rooms were very clean and had a/c also which was a blessing. The rooms are a dated but it's not like you come to Hvar for the room design. Definitely stay again =)
- Maria (8/5): Good place to stay - We stayed in a very basic room - it was perfectly clean, and had everything we needed. Location was good as well, yes it is a short walk to the center, a small portion of it is up the stairs (on the way back), but little cardio wouldn't hurt! Owners are friendly and always eager to help.

Not the apartments fault but on arrival was told that expedia had been in touch to cancel my booking which I had not done! Location was okay for me being 10 minutes walk to centre but not ideal for anyone looking to be very central
- Rose (4/5): Appartments Pape - I enjoyed my time on Hvar, the only thing that might have let he holiday down was the hotel. We were greeted by the owners father who didn't speak any English, but was very lovely. However, you could hear his TV at most times of the day. The walls are quite thin and you could hear almost everything from the other rooms. The cleaning was done quite loudly too, which might wake anyone wanting a lie in on holiday. I was quite disaapointed overall.
- Ewa (10/5): Super friendly hosts! - The only issue was with the description of rooms/apartments at hotels.com. It was confusing as there was no difference in unit details and equipments between apartments and rooms. Anyway, the hosts were able to sort this out when we arrived, so in the end we were very happy with our stay at Pape.
- marengtos (8/5): Great apartment only minutes from hvar - Brilliant stay, was cheap and surprisingly clean and spacious. The owners are great and will do anything for you. Would definitely recommend...
- kdes (4/5): Would not go back or recommend to friends - For how reasonably priced the place was, it was clean and mostly functioning. However we did not have use of wireless internet as advertised, television, and the water in the kitchen ran at almost a drip. When I complained that I did not get what I signed up or or had to pay for, the owner basically said it wasn't her fault... and suggested at any time I could leave my room, walk around to a side patio in the dark, sit on run down furniture to use the internet there. (NOT the same as wireless in your room). Otherwise, my husband and I didn't mind the out of town location... but I did mind the lack of service. There is not 24-service, or lobby with breakfast, or a 6-7min walk to town (its 15 minutes). I would not send my friends there for sure.
- LondonTraveller (8/5): Perfect budget apartment - A clean and spacious budget apartment 20 minutes walk from the centre of Hvar, the walk is pleasant enough walking along the harbour front. Bathroom is a little dated with a hand-held shower, although after some serious Croatian charades it appears we were intended to stay in a more modern room across the hallway with a proper shower but we had already started to unpack and didn't mind! We arrived late afternoon and couldn't find the owners/reception, we hung around for half an hour knocking on doors with no reply so went into town and tried again in the evening. When we came back we found the owner working outside in the garden and managed to check-in very easily despite the fact the owner doesn't speak a word of English, he was lovely and has a good sense of humour. For others to note, the owners house is round the back at no.68 while the apartments are no. 70 and this is presumably reception! Overall, very basic but clean, with air conditioning, would stay again, great for the price!
