- Sharon (7/5): - The hotel is nearby a beach with a lot of resort facilities. The room is spacious and the breakfast has good variety. The room I stayed was a deluxe king sea view with balcony. But the balcony of my room is not like the one shown in the photos of the room description. It has limited view of the sea, blocked by two high concrete neighbouring walls on both sides of the balcony. There was no free coffee and teabags in the room. Need to ask from the reception. One day before I checked in ( 26/9/2025), a transaction (pending) of the room fee was made by the hotel to hold up my fee on my credit card. On the day I checked out (28/9)a transaction of the room fee was done again and posted directly to my credit card account. Up till now (18/10), the pending status of the room fee on (26/9)is still on my credit card account. Don’t know when they will release the pending fee. Maybe I have to complain about this to Booking.com.

- Chi Kun (8/5): - 大堂装修尚算大气，惟接待处略嫌不太匹配，只简单的有两个柜位，当客人多时可能需时守候？！ 房间大小与布局不错，但灯光安排卻有待改善，晚间若关上灯时就感觉太黒，当夜间上厕所时会找不上路，但若把洗手间灯开上，就必须同时把数灯同亮，难以理解！ 早餐菜品类別尚算多元化，但不足的是，上午七时开始进餐，我们约在七时十五分到达，但那些热菜卻已变成涼菜，有待改善！
- Christopher (8/5): - King key hotel, once you get over the name this large hotel is good value for money. Breakfast was pretty good with some western options. The bar wasn’t open which was a bit disappointing.
- Lyndon (10/5): Perfect for couples and families - Check in was smooth and easy, staff were very polite, professional and perfect customer service. Room was excellent, view was overlooking the sea, bed was very comfy, layout and size of the room was very good. The ensuite is an open concept which was great. Location of the hotel is exceptional. Shopping outlets were across the street, numerous food around the hotel. Restaurant was also good. Reasonably priced and good quality. The beach and boat marina is only across the street. We were never more than 100 metres away from the hotel as we were swamped with shopping and eating. Gym could be much better especially the cardio machines. Need new ones definitely.

All 5 star hotels in China should accept international payment methods. Majority do but this one didn’t which caused me slight inconvenience.

The location was very near to the beautiful beach. Overall the hotel has just about everything that you will need.

- Krystin (9/5): Superb - The staff were mostly very friendly except for one rude security guard. Anything that I asked for was given promptly. They made sure we had transportation to everywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast had a lot of options, but many of them were not breakfast food. For example, they had chicken nuggets and french fries. I think they should include more Western options for breakfast. The furniture in the rooms is a little old and has seen better days.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - The rooms at the Kingkey are very nice. I had a seaside room with a balcony that faced the water. It was spacious and lovely. The Japanese restaurant inside is delicious and affordable. It’s pretty close to the beach. But the rest of the hotel was just...okay. The pool has a strange set up where you have to cross the parking lot to get into it (and it was quite small). There isn’t a cafe where you can get coffee during the day (and room service coffee is extremely expensive). And when I attempted to find the bar and KTV room at night around 10, everything was closed. So...it’s fine, as long as you don’t need a lot of amenities for your stay.

- Claudia (8/5): Good for a getaway weekend with kids - The Hotel services including the frontdesk, restaurants and the swimming pool were good with friendly and helpful staff. The one thing I did not like at all was the mold smell in the room, even keeping the window open it wouldn't disappear. Nevertheless the room was clean and tidy.

- C (8/5): Good overall. - Really nice hotel, we stayed in A block with sea facing view. They upgraded our room for free, the reception desk was really helpful and they’re really nice people. We found a few stains on the counters and they put us in a smoking room or smoking floor with a baby, which was very annoying - the room stank of smoke and neighbours blew smoke into the room which made me angry as a father of a young child although that shouldn’t be enough to discount the hotel’s review score and all the other ways they tried to make us feel welcome. I’d recommend staying at this hotel.

- Alice KB (10/5): Unforgettable stay at Kingkey Palace Hotel - We had a fantastic stay at Kingkey. The scenery outside our suite was beautiful and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a brand name shopping outlet close by and it is very scenic for a walk in the evening.

- David (10/5): luxuary oceanfront hotel with great breakfast - New hotel located steps from beach with grand lobby. Rooms are clean and luxurious. Bathroom has a huge ultra modern tub/shower combo with a bench where a whole family can fit inside and shower at same time. Towels and bathrobes have high thread counts and comfortable. Balcony has georgeous ocean view. During summer, there’s a free shuttle to the neighoring sister hotel Sheraton Dameisha to use its private beach. Hotel’s own indoor pool is beautiful and nice to relax in. The included buffet breakfast was a feast with both western and Chinese selections, including hot dishes, cold cuts, delicate dim sum and other delicacies.
