- Sabrina (6/5): Wir würden es nicht weiterempfehlen - Die beiden Pool Areas sind sehr schön gemacht. Das Hotel entspricht keinerlei dem fünf Sterne Standard. Bei Ankunft war die Dame an der Rezeption sehr gelangweilt uns die Anlage des Hotels zu erklären. Die beiden Pool Areas sind sehr schön gemacht. Allerdings war von Wohlfühlen keine Spur, da das Zimmer sehr penetrant muffig gerochen hat. Jegliche Versuche mit Lüften, Airkonditioner etc. waren erfolglos. Interessanterweise stand bereits bei Ankunft ein mobiles Gerät zum Luftentfeuchten im Zimmer. Das Gym konnten wir leider auch nicht benutzen, da es ein Raum direkt unter dem Dach ohne Airconditioner war. Bei 35 Grad Außentemperatur war es dort stickig und nicht auszuhalten. Beim Checkout war wichtig, dass wir das Bier aus der Minibar bezahlen, aber nicht, ob wir einen guten Aufenthalt hatten. Mir ist nicht klar, wie das Hotel eine Bewertung über 9 auf booking haben kann. Bisher das teuerste und schlechteste Hotel auf unserer Rundreise.

- Dana (10/5): One of the best hotels of our trip - This was one of the best hotels of our vacation. Everything was excellent — the activities, the beautiful pool, the rooms, the service, and especially the breakfast, which was spectacular. I also want to especially thank the breakfast staff member in charge of guest reviews. As soon as she saw my comment wishing there were more vegetarian options (like a vegetarian pho), she immediately arranged for one to be prepared for me. That level of attention and care truly made a difference and was deeply appreciated. We felt incredibly well taken care of during our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Good location for families Some areas were a little tired but overall condition was good. Lots of children at the hotel so maybe too much activity around the pool area if you want a more adults /quieter location

- Leeva (9/5): Loved every part of the stay. - The location was supreme. A short walk to Old Town (5ish minutes with heaps of food and massage spots as soon as you walk out the front door. Service and staff were lovely. For example, as soon as you arrive they get you comfy in the lounge with a welcome drink and cookies while they take care of the check-in process. Rooms were clean and looked exactly like the photos. Really enjoyed the pool by the river and rooftop, especially the rooftop with the rooftop bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free tai chi and yoga by the river was a highlight. Overall would 100% love to stay again and will recommend to friends and family. Not really. I might have appreciated an iron in the room but I'm reaching here. I'm sure I would have received one if I asked.

- Craig (9/5): An outstanding, flawless stay, exceptional staff and luxury facilities! - Our stay at Bel Marina Hoi An Resort was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the staff blew us away with their incredible hospitality. They are exceptionally attentive, friendly and have a unique ability to cater to a guest's every single need with a warm smile. Our King Suite room was beyond amazing. Spacious, beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. And the room comes with daily massages as part of the booking, Nancy the spa manager is the most wonderful and hardest working person, I've ever met. She is diligent to a fault and always tries to accommodate all requests with a smile. Every facility at the resort, from the 2x stunning pools (Yes, there is a rooftop pool with a breath taking view) to the dining areas, is completely top-notch. Truly, everything about this property is outstanding. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back! However, we wanted to leave some constructive feedback regarding the dining options. For guests with celiac disease or severe gluten intolerances, the hotel needs some improvements. There is a noticeable lack of dedicated gluten-free options at the breakfast buffet and the service staff require much better training and knowledge on what celiac disease actually entails (especially regarding cross-contamination and hidden ingredients like soy sauce). We had to spend a lot of time explaining basic safe food practices. If management invests in thorough allergen training for the kitchen and floor teams, this resort would easily be a flawless 5-star experience.

The rooms were generous and clean and the room servicing fantastic. Breakfast was included and always had variety. The main pool was too hot. Beds could be a little less firm but the bedding in general was better than other locations in Vietnam.

My room was very small, old facilities, isn't clean. The smell of the hotel isn't good. The buffet breakfast is average. We don't recommend this hotel.

My room was an adjoining one and during my 9 night stay I had 2 different sets of noisy people at night and into the morning hours of 2-3am. The wall needs to be sound proofed better

We really enjoyed our stay at Bel Marina, and the hotel has free bicycles to get around Hoi An as well as a shuttle that takes you to the beach. Breakfast was decent too. The bathroom in our room wasn't very private, it didn't have a proper closed off door, rather a privacy screen.

- Danny (10/5): Wonderful staff in a beautiful hotel - Beautiful property in a nice walkable location to Hoi An Old Town. The staff was exceptional in helping making our stay as comfortable as possible, especially Tu. The breakfast crew was also wonderful. Great breakfast buffet!! It initially had a mildewy smell, but once the staff was notified, they did a wonderful job of fixing the issue.
- David (10/5): Our second visit to Bel Marina and once again it exceeded our expectations! - Bel Marina is a beautiful riverside resort that offers the charm of Hoi An. The staff are excellent and always willing to assist you from the moment you arrive until the moment you depart. Food, pools, cleanliness, comfort and the evening entertainment was excellent. We were lucky enough to celebrate our daughters birthday and the staff did an amazing job making her birthday memorable. We cannot fault Bel Marina - old town is easily accessible, mini marts, laundry, pharmacy options are immediately surrounding - superb value I think the hotel has been fine tuned very well. It is very hard to fault. Everything is easy and it is such a relaxing easy going vibe accommodating single travelers, couples, families and large groups.

The hotel perfectly captures the Hoi An old town vibe within a resort. Henry and Rochelle the performers kept us entertained every set. Our daughter celebrated her 6th birthday here and what the hotel did for her and us was amazing. There is very little to fault about Bel Marina. Excellent value and helpful staff!

Lots of in house facilities like spa, restaurant and bar. The 3 different pools were cherry on the cake and worked well with young kids. It’s great location for just walking to the market or town. Even though it’s the same hotel, the two restaurants and pools are far apart and can get a bit cold to go from one pool to another.

As our room was facing the hotel entrance, sleep was distrubed by passing vehicles and the sound of reversing vehicles. The sound proofing of the room can be better improved. Other than that, all is good.
