- Theresa (5/5): We won’t be staying at this hotel again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else. - The price. The room had a musty smell that wasn’t pleasant. The sheets in the bed had stains on them and there was garbage piled by the entrance door.
- John (4/5): Very poor- especially given the purpose of visit. - I was overcharged for stay. Still waiting for refund from EconoLodge for second night (7/18/25) that was cancelled at the time of check-in on first day (7/17/25). The out-of-state automobile travel to SD (1,400+ miles) was because of the funeral for a very dear friend with an immediate return home for important Family matters. The lack of response by EconoLodge to resolve this matter (after phone call and e-mail efforts) has only added additional discontentment with your organization. This EconLodge experience was a poor demonstration of hospitality and customer service. Customer service, hospitality, follow-through and attitude of front desk clerk at check-in and his apparent lack of ability to better represent EconoLodge.

- Renae (2/5): - Im not sure if Ive ever stayed at such a bad hotel. This was the chair in my room. The light at the sink outside the bathroom didn't work so I was in the dark doing my hair and makeup the next morning and I found hairs on the sheet and pillow that werent mine before I got into the bed. I went downstairs to talk to front desk and nobody was there, nor was anyone there when I came downstairs in the morning. I requested a refund from hotel.com an hour after I checked in. I and haven't back.

- Chad (6/5): Nice staff, not-so-nice room. - The room had a really bad smell to it. That was very bothersome to me. I’m assuming it was a smoking room in the past and they tried to cover up the odor, but they didn’t do a good enough job. The shower faucet did not turn on very easily either.
- Rosann (2/5): No stay hotel - The room was humid and hard to sleep in even with the air on, the tv cables were loose and kept messing up even when tightened, there was an odd bag hanging on the wall with gross water in it..like a dehumidifer bag. The service manager was unfriendly and kept telling us not to touch anything. He wouldn't provide a checkout receipt. Continental breakfast was very limited.

- Tasha (4/5): Rude worker. But decent place to sleep for the night on the road - Pillow was comfy The guy who worked there at night and in the morning was rude. He was annoyed when we got there because we must’ve woken him up. He finally came out after ringing twice for service, stood at the top of the stairs and said “what do you want?”….. really?! Then came down not talking, throwing the room cards down. Just rude.

- Jody (8/5): Lovely hotel! - We had a very late check-in. The staff were very helpful and very courteous to us. Leaving precise instructions on where to find our room keys and the room. There was a little snafu with there not being a shower curtain in the bathroom, but the staff apologized and the situation was taken care of.

- L (6/5): Staff rudeness - I got the room for my boys as their sister was getting married. Upon their arrival the owner chewed them out cuz I had put the reservation under name on my card, LH. He griped cuz he said couldn’t enter it into his computer and then complained about the dog as they had their dog. Told my sons to bring cash down in the morning. That’s all something that should have been addressed with me, the person who made the reservation.

He then moved us to another room, in which dirty towels had been left behind the bathroom door on a hook. The air worked great, the beds were comfortable, but would definitely not recommend the facility.

Mattress hadspring sticking out of side and was extremely hard to sleep on ,not comfortable.there needs to be some sugarfree options for diabetes. Likesugar free yogurt,or eggs,apples are even ok .

- Dwight (9/5): Facility was OK for one night. - We came for an event at Great Plains High School that afternoon and evening. The location was very convenient, (easy to find) and we spent very little time there. Everything was on one level; we did not have stairs to climb. The bathroom toilet was for midgets, not adults. Breakfast was scant. We were told that there were problems with getting breakfast items. With a little planning by management that could have been resolved.
- Tina (4/5): This will be our last option of a place to stay. - The location is nice. The service was terrible. In the three nights we stayed there we didn’t get housekeeping, we had to continuously ask for stuff. The customer service was awful.

Took forever to contact me in discussing how we could best fix the issue. Lost money and future money from me. We come a lot into town and can definitely go elsewhere. Go else where !!!

There was a bag of Damp-rid hanging in my closet area to and it looked like it needed changing. There were dehumidifiers in the hallway. I didn't like the fact that the light switch when you first entered didn't turn anything on. The bed was comfortable. The clerk was friendly.

Acknowledge you when you walk by and the room was excellent. Great improvement and great place in a better place than last time.

They had ally of moisture or water cuz they had humidifier’s running in hallways and those bags hanging in rooms to remove moisture! We rented 2 rooms and both were like that! Overall it wasn’t bad! They offer a small breakfast too!
