- Peiyin (4/5): Disappointing - Convenient location One of the reasons for choosing this room was that it said it was barrier-free and had an elevator. However, after the elevator arrived upstairs, we had to take the stairs to another building to get to our room. We asked to change it on the spot, and the room after the change was very small. There is an extra charge for instant noodles in the room, but there is no notice or explanation!

- missxrayusa (10/5): Miss USA - My family and I were visiting Hue, Vietnam for one day. We stayed at this hotel for one night. Wow, this is the best hotel that I have ever stayed in in Vietnam. The room was beautiful and clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom has a separate shower room. They provided enough towels for guests. It is located near Song Huong River and downtown Hue district. The hotel also has an elevator. If I ever visit Hue again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Staff were very friendly; one finding my phone and out the front of the hotel and holding it for me once I returned. Rooms are clean and tidy. Would recommend to families, solo travellers and anyone looking for an affordable but comfortable stay. Nice and close to the main walking street as well as the water.
- Karl (7/5): solid stay in Huế - The rooms are clean, we had a room located to the street, which also had a good sized balcony - too small to enjoy being outside, but big enough for putting clothes/shoes outside to dry. The bathroom was clean and provided everything you need, but being very compact it was too small for more than one person at a time. Good shower though. Average bed's hardness for Vietnam accomondation. Good location for being close to, but away of the noise range of many bars, clubs and restaurants. The citadel and palace are quite a good walk away, still doable on foot. Not all staff knew English, but was helpful with either translation apps or videocalling some staff who did speak English. Laundry service was solid and as we expected. Our street-side room had the speciality of a window, where the frame didn't fit the hole in the wall. Early morning you could hear the street's traffic through the gap of about max. 2cm

All staff we met were very friendly. Bed was comfortable. No window to the outside but there was light coming in from a window, so you didn't feel you were boxed in. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order.

- P7430NNkima (10/5): Five-Star Staff - I recently stayed several nights at the DMZ hotel. Based on my experience, I would most definitely stay again. The hotel offers great value for the money. It is close to eating and shopping establishments. Nightlife is close enough to walk to, but far enough away that you have a quiet environment. They offer a free breakfast that is quite yummy! The best thing the hotel offers is its staff. They are an amazing crew who made me feel like part of the family. They offered great suggestions in terms of eating and shopping. They even went so far as to take my glasses for repair! All-in-all I am a very happy customer. Thank you DMZ staff for making my first trip to Vietnam such a pleasant and memorable experience!
- 941bryank (10/5): Still a great place to stay - I've stayed here several times over the last 2-3 years. It's a great hotel in this price range. What makes it for me is the attentive and friendly staff from the room servicing staff to the bell- hops and the wonderful receptionists who are always ready to help with some good ideas for trips or any other travel advice you may need. Breakfast has recently changed to a menu rather than buffet style. Everything is cooked and served well. The location is perfect, close enough to nightlife but is quiet overnight. You still get 10% discount at the DMZ restaurant around the corner if you ask. My grumble is that the wifi is not too strong and it's an open network in the rooms For secure network you need to be in reception area.
- X8189GK_ (2/5): Bad travel experience - With agency of this hostel we bought a tour to DMZ and tickets to Phong nha without back in Hue. First, bus tickets was more expensive that from Hue in the others agency. And second, they told us that we will have to wait for the bus for 3 hours in the restaurant on the way. Ok, we thought it's better than loose the time to do return. Finally we were waiting almost five hours!!! They lied to us! Why they didn't say before, we would change our plans and do something more interesting than pay money for this agency.

- victorphamqb (10/5): Great hotel - DMZ hotel is nice hotel in Hue. And this is not the first time I come here. The hotel is location at 21 Doi Cung, Hue. From here you just need 3 minutes to walk to beautiful Perfume river, beautiful sunset there. 5 minutes to Walking Town, so it very convenience to go around. Hotel is nice, room is clean, shower with hot or cold water is very strong. And the crews here are really friendly and helpful...
- tjudylee (6/5): Average is the right word - We booked this hotel because of the mediocre reviews. Obviously we knew it wasn’t a luxurious hotel, but most low budget places turn out to be real gems. Not sure this was a gem. The room was clean, minus the pillows that smelt of nasty sweat that was sprayed in men’s cologne to try to mask the smell. Definitely didn’t bother to use the pillows. The wifi also wasn’t the greatest, I mean ok it actually was terrible. We always got better wifi from restaurants we ate at. We were also promised complimentary bicycles from the hotel but was then told they don’t do that and was asked to see proof from our booking, and when we did show them we got set up with “complimentary” bicycles lol hope the you read the air quote in that but over all it was just a decent place to lay our heads, just wouldn’t book here again.
- V1842PJstephanieg (2/5): Worst stay I’ve had in Vietnam - Upon arrival we were welcomed by a friendly gentleman & another helped us to our room - unfortunately that would be the only positive thing about our stay... the rooms are so dirty and clearly not regularly cleaned the sheets smell and the aroma of smoke and mould fill the air! I didn’t sleep at all due to what I can only describe as a staff party on the 4th floor and people constantly walking up and down the hallway outside my room smoking cigarettes - worst “sleep” if I can call it that. Breakfast - pre ordered and more like a “snack” I had one egg accompanied with a bread roll which clearly had been sat out and was not fresh... I’m glad I only had to stay here one night.

- CFEIII (8/5): Nice hotel in Hue - We stayed here one night as part of a tour, clean, good wifi, nice air con, handy location. The breakfast (Included in the room price) was pretty good, but basic. I probably would not stay in this nice a place if I was traveling alone, but I enjoyed it this trip!
- esmenes (2/5): Stay away - We spent two nights here and I would not come back here. Room was dirty and mouldy, everything was smelly. Not sure if the sheets were clean as they smelled bad and had ink-stains and cigarette holes. The drain was almost clogged so we waded in water in the bathroom an hour or so after one of us took a shower. The guys in green shirts by the entrance was really friendly and helpful, but the woman behind the desk was distracted and not very welcoming and friendly

They had all three and rate was only 20 dollars US. We were close to nights clubs, restaurants, markets and Imperial City. Hotel had laundry service which was very inexpensive.

- ny_crew258 (4/5): Dingy hotel with damp smelling mouldy rooms. - This hotel was used as part of a recent tour i was on. It's very sub standard. The first room we were in seemed clean but The whole floor smelled like bleach or a swimming pool.The staff were quite helpful and allowed us to change rooms but the situation did not improve much. The second room had a damp smell and mould in several places from the wall to the curtain and lamp shades. You could also smell cigarettes smoke coming from adjacent rooms on that floor. The breakfast food wasnt great either....the omlette was literally a fried egg with some ham. The location of the hotel is great...near the river and restaurants but I would not recomment this hotel to anyone.
- buddym_11 (10/5): Fourth Visit. - Fourth stay at the DMZ. The staff makes this hotel for me including Loan who can fix anything that might go wrong with your stay in Hue. The hotel is situated a block from the Perfume River and walking distance to the Citadel and Dong Ba market. The DMZ Bar is around the corner for good food and cold beer.
- irinakM6017SP (2/5): Moldy, disgusting, dark, unhelpful staff - I was really disappointed with this hotel. Staff couldn’t understand me and I couldn’t understand them, they charge everything, i.e. if they book a ticket/hotel room for you, you gotta pay the phone bill. Rooms are as described in the title, I’m not picky but had to change rooms twice because the mold was literally ‚opening the door‘ for me so to speak. Staff couldn’t even explain me that DMZ also has a hostel with tourist information adjacent close by, staff THERE was very helpful and English speaking, so there’s a chance the eponymous hostel is better (haven’t seen rooms/dorms) Anyway, my (!) conclusion to staying at DMZ HOTEL is: Don’t-go-there!!
- Thi Bao Nhat (4/5): KS TỆ NHẤT ĐÃ TỪNG Ở TẠI HUẾ/ THE BADDEST HOTEL - Mình đặt phòng cho ba mẹ. Sau khi ở 1 đêm thì hôm sau mình lên xem phòng. Chung chung là: phòng hôi mốc cực kỳ muốn ngẹt thở, tủ thì rớt ngăn ko sd đc, phòng thì bé tẹo chỉ để vừa 1 cái giường, trần nhà mốc đen. Sàn nhà cũ nên nhìn rất dơ, vs cũng ko tốt. Mức giá gọi là khá cao so với các ks trên đg chu văn an gần đó nhưng dịch vụ tệ hơn nhiều. Lúc mình xuống yêu cầu đổi phòng và hỏi lý do tại sao lại đẩy ba mẹ mình vô ở phòng đó thì ks trả lời do lúc nhận phòng gđ ko phản ánh gì nên ko đổi. Ba mẹ mình lớn tuổi lại ít đi du lịch- ở ks, mẹ mình bệnh nên đi khám kết hợp du lịch vì vậy sợ phản ánh sẽ ko có phòng để nghỉ ngơi nên ko nói. Ks bán phòng phải đảm bảo phòng ở dk tốt nhất hợp lý với giá tiền rồi mới đc bán chứ. Cái tâm của ng làm dv ko có. This is a baddest hotel i have been in Hue. The room is very tiny and smell like for age no one use it, the make up table was broken. I booked it for my parents and they are old, rarely to stay in hotel alone without us so they dont know that can change room, so they keep silent about the quality of that room until i came and complaint with hotel. And i got answer that because they dont ask to change so still give that room to them. Such a stupid and unprofessional answer i have heard. Hotel sales rooms and the most important duty is make sure the room is best quality with price. Higher cost but baddest quality hotel that in same level i have been in Huế

- Dan (10/5): Friendly Staff with good location at a fair price - My girlfriend and I stayed at DMZ for 1 night while passing through Hue on our way to Hanoi. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we were greeted with a small welcome drink. We booked our city tour and taxi to the airport through them at a reasonable price. They let us leave our luggage there the next day as we went on our city tour and our flight wasn't until 630pm. The room was small, but we were expecting that. The only issue was there were some small black flakes coming from the air con unit. Not a lot, but they were land on the bed (white sheets). Great location near everything. Breakfast ok just like all the other free breakfasts we've gotten on our travels (not great, but good enough).

- Tom (8/5): Good staff - Hotel was good for the price. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived (at 4pm) but they said it was due to the Tet holiday so they were short on staff. They offered to take our bags and gave us a map of places to go see while we waited. We came back that night and the room was ready and they brought our bags up. Room was small and had no window to the outside but it was clean.

- G (6/5): フエ滞在を安く済ませたい方向け - 女一人で利用。 良い点：スタッフのみなさんがフレンドリーで癒されました。近くの食堂のブンボーフエがおいしかったです。 悪い点：建物やエアコン等の設備がとても古く、日本のビジネスホテルレベルの快適さはありません。周辺は夜になると男性がたむろしていて、少し怖かったです。（複数人で利用する、とにかく安く済ませたい、という場合ならOKかと思います。）

- Patrice (8/5): Les avantages de DMZ Hôtel - Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits à l'hôtel DMZ de Hué . DMZ est très bien placé , sa situation centrale permet de visiter la ville à pied. Les chambres sont confortables et propres , le personnel est très attentif et très serviable . Ils nous ont organisé des excursions et le transport jusqu'à Hoi An qui était notre étape suivante . Seul léger reproche:un petit déjeuner un peu léger . En conclusion très bon rapport qualité prix.
