- Jan (7/5): Good - Rooms were ok. Decent size. Good hot showers. Beds a bit on the hard side, but i always bring my memory foam topper in the car , and here it was definitely needed. One of the girls in reception spoke decent english, the other one did not. The reception and lobby area did not look promising but rooms were ok

- traveller21238 (2/5): Dump smelly room and useless staff - This hotel is terrible like as dump. Upon check in the room is smell like dump. and the service and attitude of the staff reception is useless and doesn't know how to taking care the guest. I will not recommend this hotel. Not at all! Very terrible hotel. all amenities is broken. In total the hotel is old and useless staff.
- Heiki (6/5): Pleasant -
- A3504SLjohnr (8/5): Good room in my favourite area of Bangkok - Honestly don't understand many of the negative reviews. My room is clean and comfortable. Good shower and aircon. I've had very little interaction with front desk staff as I've not had any issues but for approx 800 baht a night I consider it very good value. The hotel is in a busy Soi and 10 minute walk to mrt. It's busy at times and need to walk with care but I personally love this area. Lots of really nice cafe and restaurants. Some places are pricey but most are great value.

- triplet2022 (2/5): Rude staff - It's a shame, I left my city of Vancouver to escape rude and unfriendly people. Rude staff and can't even say thank you . I work in customer service myself, if u don't like your job maybe find somewhere else . Land of smiles? I think not. Covid ruined everywhere,
- Serge (10/5): Exceptional - Very good hotel for just one night. Clean but a little bit away from the center. Nothing
- Norma (7/5): Good - It was clean and not to far away from the MRT. It advertised English TV channels Only had Thia TV
Only one chair to sit on in a room for two people .
- Azlan (1/5): bad stay i never come back here! - nothing all is bad! staff not friendly, no amenities no bowl, what is this hotel? is just a house for rental!
- M (7/5): Good -
- Sharmilan (9/5): Superb -
- JackA2046 (2/5): Worst Experience I've ever had - Never been to a hotel where the front desk helper hangs up on you twice or even once to fix a problem with the internet. 2nd time I called and she stayed on a bit and I told her please find someone else who can speak English, she didn't care and hung the phone up on me again. One guest at the hotel who listened in on conversation as I asked for my deposit back and was leaving said I should come downstairs and fix the issue? Not sure why he would say that, the hotel staff should solve the issue and find someone to speak English to me to solve the internet problem. I wasn't going to try and solve incompetence at this horrible establishment. Be warned as I can be very lenient but this was something I've never seen before, 2 times hung up on by the front desk..that staff member should not be in that role if they can't 'speak English.
- Michelle (8/5): Short but sweet. Fast check-in and check-out. Helpful staff. - Location is in the heart of Sathorn. Good value for money. Parking is a little tight. Just come ahead..and park your car and just walk around the neighborhood.
- Dennis (10/5): Lovely time. - Clean and economical. Once you know your way around it’s really a very good hotel at quiet neighborhood, It’s good for the price.
- Fiona (7/5): Good -
- Jason (10/5): Superb - Everything Nothing
- Evan (1/5): Maybe find somewhere elses. - It is in a good spot and next to a lot of stuff. They cancelled my room and charged me despite me emailing them. Speaking to the hotel staff was rough and awkward for me and my friends. My room has a strange smell to it.
- Joy (7/5): Good - Nice location. Sathorn area (expat area) near mrt and skytrain. Soi Sribumpen (the road of the hotel) has many restaurants, 7 eleven, street food and a few bars. The room was quite big and clean. Overall good value for money. Hotel and furnitures need to be refreshed a bit. No hot water in shower.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Felipe (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Pearl (3/5): Poor - The bed was comfortable. The staff were rude ,it was dirty, the room was damaged in lots of aspects. Would not stay again or recommend.

- John (8/5): very pleasant - the shower wasn't hot enough at some times of the day
- Marion (8/5): Very good -
- Joonas (9/5): Superb -
- Pakdee (10/5): Exceptional - very good
- Sylvain (5/5): Passable -
- Roman (8/5): Very good - Small comfortable hotel in a deep of Satorn. No roadsides around, so pedestrians beware.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst Bangkok Hotel Stay - This probably has to be the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at in Bangkok given the price. I understand that you get what you pay for but for 2,000 baht (all in) a night for the deluxe room with balcony, I expected at least the basics.
1) First, the room door handle. I had to literally use my full body weight to press down on the handle and push for the door to open. Opening the door from the inside is similarly difficult.
2) the room is dusty and dirty and there is a stale, off putting stench that does not go away even after I opened the balcony to air the room.
3) No shower cap and it is not even available upon request. Same for cotton buds or tissue paper. They give a roll of toilet paper instead.
4) Male front counter staff was rude and indignant when I asked why my room was not made up even though I left early morning and only returned at night. The middle aged man, whom I believe is the owner actually, which makes it all the more scathing, retorted rudely it was my responsibility to hang the reversible "make up room / do not disturb" sign on the door handle.
He said if the sign is not hung, they will not make up the room which means not only do they not make the bed (which is not a big issue in itself), they do not even replenish the bottled water in the room or the beverage sachets or the towels.
5) the towels are so worn the edges are frayed and the wall mounted a/c units emit a foul odour which I can only guess is mold built up in the pipes
- Alan (8/5): Very good -
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Amr (7/5): Good -
- Brewer (7/5): Good -
- Alex (5/5): be aware, bugs on counters and come up the sink, rude owner. i left 5 days early. - close to 7/11, has a nice bar nearby. So many bugs, coming through the sink hole, all over the fridge, Rude staff.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Culture10158985286 (2/5): Disgusting - If you like your room extremely dirty, and rude staff i would recommend this place. There are ants everywhere. They dont clean your rooms. There is no toilet paper. Its really the worst hotel i have been in. The first night there was a earpick from the other guests. Never recommend this place to anyone
- John (6/5): Pleasant -
- Russell (10/5): Exceptional - Close to eating places, 7eleven,and MRT Everything good
- Ben (9/5): Superb -
- Malcolm (8/5): Quiet and relaxing hotel - Quite a large room was appreciated Bed linen was quite old.
- NL (4/5): - Bed bugs. Sheet/mattress not clean.......................... .....................
- Vaneszsh (8/5): Affordable but manage expectations - Paid $30++/night on Airbnb so it was one of the more affordable options. Good location, 11min from Lumphini station and near Moon Bar. Facilities aren't fantastic but can't complain. No 24h concierge which was problematic when our toilet door got locked.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location in center of bangkok, easy approach to landmarks.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location near Sathorn road in Central of Bangkok and nice staffs .
- arunanitasingla (2/5): Worst desk staff - Desk or reception staff is very rude always ready to fight if ask anything, there only job to hand over you keys , no further query , I think they don't like guests .Although location of hotel is good, cleanliness is reasonable, rooms are congested.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - bed bugs They had bed bugs. I was getting eaten alive by bed bugs
- sandraz160 (6/5): Décevant - The room was nice and quite big for the price. The problem was the smell of the bathroom which make the place really smelly.
Also even if the hotel is only 15 min from the subways station, you should know that there is no sidewalk and you have to walk on a very rush traffic ... Crossing the street is a life challenging expirience.
- Ho (8/5): - clean and tidiness
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful room, great bad, large room, balcony, near the centre, fast check in, out - 500b deposit ( very reasonable ) - an excellent little hotel in a great spot. Definitely recommend.
- HamidM279 (2/5): Unhappy 😒 - That was the worst hotel I have ever booked in my life. Location is not good, it's in a tiny crowded street and very noisy. We couldn't sleep at all. We were really unhappy. Unfriendly people at the front deck.
- Richjames85 (4/5): Rude staff but decent rooms - The front desk staff at this place are pretty unwelcoming. They don't make eye contact or acknowledge you're standing there. They just grunt and point, asking you to fill out forms. When I questioned why the key deposit was so high, they laughed. This wasn't mentioned during the booking process and they were not flexible. Most of the staff had a chip on their shoulder.
However, the rooms were decent if unremarkable and the building itself is fine.
It just feels like a resting station rather than a hotel. No doubt the staff won't reply to any of these comments because, well - they don't particularly care.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Convenience and Comfortable, Centre of Bangkok.
Love location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hidden gem in Sathorn, cosy, clean, the staff are helpful. Rooms are really nice and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Yes it’s a budget hotel . However the man on reception was not the most helpful . We had a deluxe room , I think not - had to change rooms as the door wouldn’t lock , the room had damp in it and the bedside cabinet was broke - no safe either .
Second room was better . Coffee facilities with only one mug lol .
For the price it was ok but wouldn’t stay there again . As for the bloke on reception- the older one . Think you need to learn to be more of a host with the most
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel was O.K. The worse thing was the walk to get to the main street. The side street from the hotel was run down. There are two metro stops both about 20 - 25 minute walk from the hotel - which in that heat is probably not ideal, but one of those stops is at Lumphini park which is a great escape from the noise and pollution that is Bangkok (!)
- MOHAMAD JILLUR (6/5): Two days in Bangkok - Good size room and bathroom but not very clean, we arrived late after midnight. There was mark on the duvet cover bed sheet but they changed it next day.
Bathrooms was not that clean. Also the shower water pressure very low.
The pictures of the room as described nothing like that. Those pictures might have been taken when they 1st opened the hotel.
- Que (4/5): - Beds were so hard to sleep on. Location wasn't the greatest. Very load street. Would never stay there again.
- ERIC (8/5): - Overall is good, but the aircon fan is too low, quite heat in the room
- Bawht123 (2/5): The Aim Sathorn hotel - The Aim hotel Sathorn Bangkok.
12 January 2019
We made a reservation with this hotel for 4 nights, from 12- 16 January 2019 through booking.com ,paying Zen rooms BHT3,556. in November 2018.
We arrived on 12 January at 20-45 hours. to be informed that we had no reservation,we explained we paid Zen for the booking, showing our bill receipt and hotel reservation details.
We were told that Zen had been dissolved,no longer existed, the hotel did not deal with them and if we wished to stay we had to make a reservation and pay Aim hotel BHT 4,000.
We had no choice but to do this.
That evening I contacted Zen, who e mailed me the following morning saying they had spoken to the hotel receptionist named Kob who informed them that we had not checked into the hotel,so they wanted proof that we were staying in the hotel.
When I asked Kob about this she said nothing.
I asked to speak to the manager, explaining what happened and asked him to ring Zen to confirm we were staying in hotel,he refused , saying no, we do not deal with Zen, he would not look at my paperwork. He consented to my photographing them both to send as proof we were in hotel.
I also contacted Booking.com helpline ,speaking to Christina, who was excellent in resolving the matter, I cannot thank her enough, she was incredible.
I cannot recommend the Aim Hotel,,the manager rebuffed me when I asked for help with this matter,I felt a nuisance and that he just wanted to dismiss me.He never spoke to us after this.
On checking out of the hotel we were handed BHT 5,00. with no explanation.
Zen and booking.com informed us we could expect a refund between 7- 14 days.
Due to all this we had the inconvenience of having to cancel our original reservation, spending a few hours on the phone sorting this matter out between Zen and booking.com.
The whole episode spoilt our stay in Bangkok.
No refund arrived, contacted zen who said booking.com had not cancelled our reservation, another phone call , then zen said to expect a refund within 15 days and if I had not received it to contact my bank, which I did on February 15th and they refunded me . Could have done without the hassle. Next time I will book direct.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - 3 nights my room was not clean. Pls staff were very racist to me always speaking their language
- Nigel (10/5): Nice Hotel - A lovely room in a good location.
- Sennals (8/5): Hotel, Air BnB Whatever - This small hotel hit the spot for us. The price point was right. The location, for us, was perfect and we loved the quirky street, apart from the lack of pavements. The room was spacious, clean and modern, as per the photo. Good sockets snd many of them. Fridge and good hanging space but not enough hangers. Good air conditioning and shower all fine. A bit mean with the soaps etc but adequate. Friendly and efficient welcome. Lift to floors and did not need bag carry. Bed and bedding comfortable. Towels better quality and larger than many others. (The Comfort cafe over the road was also pretty good and a delightful find. French chef and mediterranean menu plus Thai range. Good breakfast options).
- JENS (8/5): - Very good value for money. Located in a cozy street with plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby.
Aircon, kettle, TV, fridge, but no inroom safe.
- Leo (8/5): - My room was spacious. Bed comfortable. Good hot water pressure in shower. All the female staff were gracious and charming.
The male staff I dealt with need a lot of hospitality training. The WiFi is so slow it proved to be useless for me. Worst WiFi I experienced in all of Asia. My first room had ants on bed. Second room had bugs if not cleaned daily.
Felt disappointed with the AIM experience and was happy leave.
- RICO (8/5): - Safe, clean hotel. Easy access to transportation.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel close to my meeting in Sathorn, need to have breakfast facilities next time I go
- Richard (4/5): - Info provided at booking not accurate. There is no 24 hr front desk, opens at 8am and closes at 1am. Staff of one. Not friendly and sit staring at computer, one empl has loud chinese music blaring on his shift. ATM at 7.11 down the street. No food avail in hotel. If U want breakfast U have to walk down to corner cafe and cost is 150 baht. Wifi on floors 5-8 is very poor and disconnects frequently. Sometimes out for 30-45 mins. No tech avail. Was told to use my cell phone for wifi. except I don't have smart phone. Only staff avail is 1 front desk agent. All have limited english. I notified hotel at time of booking I would be arriving around 7am. Arrived 6am from apt.. Not staff avail and only security guard and he had no access to any info. Of off the staff he was the most helpful of the staff.. If U just want a room with no service U may be ok with this hotel. No hot water in sink to wash hands and face, only in shower. Been traveling for over 50 yrs and this was prob the worst hotel I have every stayed at. Typically I stay in 2-3 star hotels that do provide food, room service and more. All the things listed for ATM/Banking and convenience stores are not in the hotel but about 1 block down the street. The posting is very misleading.
- Raymond (6/5): Air conditioner broke and then..... - Initially, I was given a room on the quiet side on the 4th floor. It looked good but the air conditioner automatically turned off in the middle of the night and eventually I went down to the front desk at 2am asking for fixing the air cond. The guy came and tried to fix it for 45 mins. Then he informed me that it could not be fixed and I had to change room. It was well past 3am and then I was given a room supposed be bigger and better on the 5th floor. However, the room is on the busy side of the road and I was waken up by the motor cycles about 7am. I didn't sleep well for the whole stay. Luckily, I just booked for 2 nights.
I don't think I will stay there again.
- Ryan (10/5): - The AiM hotel Sathorn is a small, but modern hotel near the Silom district of Bangkok. The staff was extremely accommodating and always kept our privacy. I will be returning to this hotel again in february. It also in a great location. They have an on site taxi service and even offers tours which you can book from the lobby. The front staff also speak a good deal of English too.
- stw (8/5): Busy Neighborhood - One night stay, busy road, good food choices within walking distance.
- Thndrchkn (10/5): Great hotel, clean rooms, comfortable bed - The people at the hotel were very helpful. I had arrived in Bangkok long before the check-in time, so they let me use a smaller room to sleep until the bigger room was ready. The big room was clean, the air conditioning worked very well, the bathroom was immaculate, all for the equivalent of $23 USD a night! The location is excellent. There are over a dozen restaurants well within walking distance, a mom and pop store across the street, a 7-11 on the corner with three ATMs and it is easy to get a cab there, too. Lumphini Park and the US Embassy are about a 40 minute walk away.
- Chelsea (6/5): Nice Hotel - Good location, have ATM, 7 11, many restaurants and shops nearby. Room was clean and cozy. Only that the guy front desk staff is really not friendly (rude). Not really helpful. And I requested for early check in but no response from the hotel then when I have arrived the asked me to wait for 5 hours before I can rest to my room.
- TravellerZD (2/5): Not as it shows on pictures - I looked up this hotel through a search and booking engine, and booked it as the pictures were showing that the room looks fine, the person who replied to the booming was also very polite, and tried to speak in English as good as she could.
I booked it because I wanted to be close to lumpini park, but in reality the hotel is a bit far from it and from bts. It's inside some street. The hotel is old and the rooms they gave us has the backyard view. I booked for 2 nights, but even if it is non-refundable I won't be staying and checking out. The WiFi by the way is very slow, and the personal do not speak any English.
Due to respect to citizens of this country who are misty very polite, I don't be saying much, but this particular hotel is definitely NO to book
- hidayatulz (2/5): Not friendly staff and not cleaning room - Good location, bad wifi, bad staff and not friendly, no greeting, open and close the main door is hasle.
Not cleaning room, stayed for 5 days, after 3rd day, when you ask to clean room then only clean.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Disappointed service - Our room’s lock was broken when we arrived. The front desk gentleman sent a maintenance person up to check/fix the lock. After 30 minutes, when the lock was still being repaired after 2 attempts to repair, we asked for a room change. The front desk gentleman didn’t seem happy about this but obliged with a room next door. We could hear the maintenance man working on the lock for at least another hour. We didn’t have any problems with the second room. Service at this price range is not great, which seemed on par with the other Bangkok hotel we stayed at at this range.
- Russell (10/5): - Conveniently located in Sathorn ,close to lots of various Restaurants and street food.Just a short walk to MRT Lumpini. The room has most of everything one needs ,the bed is comfortable and the shower has a good supply of hot water. The TV worked good ,maybe a few more European channels would have been better ....There was only RT..Russian English channel and a Korean channel in English. There wasnt a safe in the room but I do remember a notice on the wall offering safe deposits at reception.Overall though for the price a safe and secure hotel and will definitely be returning.
- peppopat (4/5): Totally nonfunctional IKEA bedroom - I chose this hotel because I liked the reviews and price of $25 per nite on Airbnb. Once the hotel got their money the host is nowhere to be found upon my check in. The ad claimed that the staff spoke English when, in fact, they are friendly but speak zero English. Stifling hot room upon arrival and a mattress as hard as the floor
The TV has about 20 channels but none in English.
The bedroom has no dresser drawers nor shelves so if you want to hang up your clothes and organize everything else, forget it. you have 2 tiny racks hanging from the ceiling and about six hangers so that was challenging. The view out the small window is an alleyway.
The room itself is extremely clean and the bathroom is very modern and nice. The floor is clean on my bare feet.
- ClareMBK (8/5): Great stay nice hotel - Nice hotel with big clean rooms good for the price. Good WiFi and nice pool. Good location for exploring the city. We found a great pad Thai shop near Khlong Toei mrt called Pad Thai Mae Am (can find on here) well worth a visit! Delicious
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was nice for what you pay for, nice balcony but not seats out there. The bathroom was a bit moldy.
- Eric (6/5): - too many mosquitoes and the room is clean and the location is quite close to the train station
- Jana (2/5): Bad - I couldn't sleep there, so noisy street,I asked to move to different room, they ignored me,don't stay here, there is nothing positive
