Une des chambres un peu petite et sans volets ni rideaux occultants malgré un extérieur éclairé toute la nuit.

And the house is well placed for a visit to Villa Romana del Casale, a breathtaking 4th century CE antiquity with acres of magnificent mosaics.

Netter Frühstücksraum mit großem Tisch für die Gäste - man kommt mit den anderen Gästen ins Gespräch. Extrem schlechtes und durchgelegenes Bett, unappetitliches, schlecht geputztes Bad. Toilette hatte einen schwarzen Rand.

Kort og fascinerende vei til byen. Anbefales på det aller varmeste. Glemte jeg å nevne frokosten...helt utrolig. Vertskapet Luciano får deg virkelig til å føle deg som en del av familien!! Katten var også trivelig 🙂 Kan ikke finne noe vi ikke likte 🙂

He offered us a room with a great view or a bigger room as we were staying for 2 nights, so it was nice to have the choice. Breakfast room was available to use in the evening which was helpful as there is nothing else around in the town. Good breakfast. Location was good for visiting the Roman Villa. There was no-where to eat in the evening so it would have been good to know that in advance so we could have prepared better.

• Pierre (10/5): Une superbe chambre d'hôtes en dehors, (mais près) de la ville. - Une superbe chambre d'hôtes, dans un très beau cadre, avec des vues imprenables sur la ville et le Duomo de Piazza Armerina. Une maison composée de très beaux espaces. Les chambres sont simples, mais il n'y manque rien. Et, cerise sur le gâteau, le petit déjeuner est Royal. On y trouve tout ce dont on pourrait avoir envie: fromages, céréales, fruits, jus de fruits, pain, viennoiseries, confitures, yaourt, ... et Luciano vous prépare un vrai café à l'italienne. Il y a aussi un parking aisé dans la propriété. La maison est située à moins de 5 minutes (en voiture) du centre historique. Je n'ai aucun commentaire négatif à formuler, si ce n'est que parfois, les bruits (voix et discussions) du rez-de-chaussée sont assez perceptibles à l'étage.

• Alma Rosa (10/5): Esperienza eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista - Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B e l’esperienza è stata davvero eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista. La colazione è ricca, varia e con prodotti freschi e di qualità. Il comfort della struttura è impeccabile. Le camere sono spaziose, pulitissima e arredate con gusto. Infine, la posizione è semplicemente perfetta: centrale e strategica, comoda per raggiungere a piedi le principali attrazioni, ristoranti e servizi, ma allo stesso tempo situata in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa.

Las habitaciones son muy acogedoras y cuando llegamos hacía muy buena temperatura lo que se agradece ya que hacía frío fuera. The owner was away and we didn’t understand that we could go in to our room by ourselves. M. Salvo came very quickly and helped us get settled. On Google maps the first picture that comes up is of a different B&B, very confusing. The bed was uncomfortable. 😒
• Eric (8/5): excellent accueil de la part de notre hôte à La Casa sulla Collina d'Oro - l'emplacement est situé un peu en dehors de la ville -ce qui est un atout- avec un belle vue sur celle-ci. la visite de la Villa Romaine Del Casale vaut le détour (un peu moins pour le site grec) ; quant à la ville de Piazza Amerina et son centre historique il est envahi par les pigeons et n'est donc pas très propre.... la mauvaise propreté de la ville historique la difficulté de stationner avec une voiture

• Claire B (10/5): Merci Luciano ! - Luciano nous a fait un accueil comme si on était de la famille de passage. Souriant, avenant, disponible ! Un parking est possible dans la propriété ou, s'il est plein, possibilité de se garer dans la rue devant la maison. La maison est dans un quartier résidentiel, à 5mn du centre ville historique en voiture. C'est une maison familiale, spacieuse, lumineuse avec une vue incroyable sur le duomo depuis la baie vitrée ou la terrasse. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans la salle à manger. c'est copieux et bien garni.

Het matras (en misschien ook wel bedbodem) zijn aan vervanging toe. Niet echt lekker geslapen. Bidet was kapot. Schimmel bij de douche. Het kan schoner.....

Le petit déjeuner est un buffet varié et généreux, donné dans la salle à manger qui offre une vue imprenable sur la vieille ville, comme la terrasse. L'ensemble était au calme et très agréable.
