• SAMIR (9/5): SÉJOUR TRÈS AGRÉABLE. - L'hôtel était vraiment superbe et l emplacement était parfait a quelques minutes de marche de la place de l' hippodrome et la mosque bleu.Notre chambre était propre avec lit comfortable,le petit déjeuner était moyen mais il y"avait ce qu'il faut pour démarrer une belle journée. Un grand merci au personnel de l'hôtel qui était très accueillant et surtout Mme Elvira et Rosa qui étaient très gentilles , Le petit-déjeuner est servi sur la terrasse qui avait une vue magnifique sur la mer de Marmara ,j'y retournerai la prochaine fois. J'ai tous apprécié et je n'ai rien a reprocher.
• 3372 (7/5): Établissement bien placé - Hôtel très bien situé, à proximité immédiate des principaux sites culturels et historiques, ce qui permet de tout visiter à pied. Ensuite le transport public (tramway, ferry) est très bien pour poursuivre la découverte de cette belle ville. Je recommande la traversée du Bosphore en ferry public. L’établissement est simple mais globalement correct. Le petit-déjeuner est satisfaisant et varié, avec un renouvellement régulier des produits. À noter toutefois la qualité moyenne du café (café en poudre). La possibilité de laisser les bagages avant le check-in ou après le check-out, ce qui facilite les transferts. Le service de chambre est très limité : sur six jours, un seul passage a été effectué, et uniquement à la demande. La chambre attribuée le premier soir ne correspondait pas à ma demande ni à celle réservée. Il nous a été donné une autre chambre qui ne correspondait pas au niveau de celle réservée (avec lit double et canapé). J'ai essayé de le faire comprendre à la réceptionniste, en vain. Aucune réfaction de prix n'a bien sûr été faite. Le niveau sonore peut également être élevé, en partie lié à la clientèle, ce qui peut nuire au confort (conversations et TV fortes après minuit).

Локацията е страхотна, винаги ни намириха място пред хотела за паркиране без значение колко пъти на ден излизаме с колата. На 4-5 минути пеша от централния площад и на около 10-15минути пеша от капалъ. Бяхме заявили двойно легло ,но бяхме в стая с две единични.

• FANGBING (10/5): 非常好 - 这家店的所有工作人员都非常热心，在我入住期间提供了很多帮助，让我感到宾至如归。我提早在早上九点多到达，那天非常冷，酒店人员不仅让我提前入住房间，还贴心给我提供了热茶和点心，让我感到非常温暖。在我离开那一天，还允许我在下午借用顶楼的餐厅参加线上会议，还帮我联系了土耳其的司机。全程我都得到了很多帮助，在异国他乡让我的旅行更顺利。房间里也很干净整洁和温暖，夜晚很安静，不会吵闹。推荐给所有来土耳其的人。

Рекомендую проживание в центре! - Арендовали номер на двоих с раздельными кроватями на неделю, местоположение отеля великолепное, рядом пункт полиции, тихо, чисто на улице, номер очень хороший, чуть больше чем с одной большой кроватью, мебель в хорошем состоянии, белье, полотенца - все ок. Есть шампуни, гель для душа, тапочки, фен. Техника в рабочем состоянии. Холодную батарею починили сразу, как только обратились. Менеджеры и сотрудники все отзывчивые, больше нам помогал Абдулрахим, спасибо огромное, моментально реагировали на все вопросы! Завтра каждый день разнообразный, жарят омлет и яичницу по просьбе, всегда и соки, и фрукты, сладкое, очень достойно! Меняли полотенца и убирали через день, но и каждый день спрашивали нужна ли уборка. Номера на 2 и 3 этажах, на 4 этажа терасса, частично закрыта для завтрака, с обеих сторон видно море. Минусов не заметили, все возникающие вопросы решались сразу. Единственный момент для этого района - периодически было кратковременное отключение света или воды, но и в этой ситуации менеджеры принесли нам 5-ти литровую бутылку воды! Дали по запросу зубные детки и пасту, чайник в номер, хотя на терассе всегда можно выпить чай, поддерживали чем могли на все 100%!

Закуската е уникална- домашно приготвена от две много любезни дами. Персонала е страхотен. Огромни благодарности на двете жени, които дават закуската. Има къде да се паркира- което е много важно. Квартала е много безопасен и постоянно обикаля полиция. Стаите са големи и хубави.

• naghma (10/5): Comfort in Historical location - The hotel is a charming little place run by family. The service was great, we got a lot of help and everything we asked for. It felt like we were staying with a relative. The building is old, historic, so it was worn down a little but it was everything I was hoping for. Short walk to all historic monuments with lots of food options near by. We got the family suite because we were there for a friend’s wedding and it was very spacious and comfortable to get ready in. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic experience.

The breakfast was simple and modest. The rooms were cleaned every day and we were able to get our laundry done daily thanks to Madonna the house keeper! I would definitely recommend this place because of the location being so convenient… Mama’s garden Restaurant was a fantastic place within walking distance for great Turkish food .. just a few minutes walk .. for silks and lamps I went to “St. Sophia’s style home” was a small whole sale boutique near Dilhayat that I would recommend for shopping as the owner was very kind and generous and had a great selection at a great price! Overall we enjoyed our stay at Dilhayat very much and would definitely recommend it to anyone .. price safety and security - great place and walking distance to all attractions ♥️
• Ndeye (8/5): Very nice hotel - We had a lovely stay at this hotel! The owner was extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming, he made us feel right at home. He gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, and when we wanted to buy lokums and baklavas as gifts, he kindly suggested Zaitoune in Findikzade, and it was absolutely delicious! We were also pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and truly made our stay special. The hotel is very well located, in a safe and convenient neighborhood. Overall, everything went well and we sincerely recommend this hotel! The only downside was the breakfast service. We sometimes felt rushed while eating, and when we asked for certain items, we were told the kitchen was closed, even though we were still within the breakfast hours. That part was a bit disappointing, but it didn’t overshadow the rest of our experience.

• Sohan (6/5): Cleaning lady gave us attitude - The cleaning lady didn't clean our room due to miscommunications. We didn't know she didn't understand English and she didn't tell us that. But when I complained about it to the front desk personnel the cleaning lady who also happened to be the person in charge for break fast showed us serious attitude. I'm letting it go because may be she is a poor lady and I had no intention of getting her into trouble but the hotel needa to employ more staff to take care of things. Using same person for multitasking shows stingy management mindset that's results into poor customer experience. I would never want that lady with disgruntled attitude near my breakfast place in any hotel stay.

• Naitik (9/5): The room was quite big enough and they ensure cleanliness well, Friendly staff. - Location, staff and safety around the area. Hotel Owner/Manager Abdul helped us early check-in which was very helpful and the other lady prepared breakfast every morning. The hotel terrace has sea view which was amazing for sunrise view. The blue mosque, tram station and many restaurants are just near by - walking distance. There was always a police car at the front of the hotel area, ensuring safe environment. There was nothing as such but for food, not much option for vegetarian people.

It's in the perfect location, the room was clean, comfortable, and unique. There are artwork and sculptures throughout the building. But the real pleasure is the rooftop cafe for breakfast. A delicious Turkish Breakfast and the most amazing view of Istanbul. We loved this hotel!

Right in the middle of the area where all the attractions are. Yet still quiet The decor in the hotel is really good. Especially the lobby. • Mary (9/5): Superb - Delicious breakfast on a lovely terrace. Staff were very helpful with extras such as early check-in, booking taxis and doing laundry. We were given two single beds pushed together instead of a double bed. The shower head was also broken.
• Safiyyah (10/5): Excellent staff, clean, spacious room, great distance to city square. - This was the third time my family and I stayed at Dilhayat Kalfa when we've been to Istanbul. Excellent service from the staff, good quality breakfast with a variety each day. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathroom is well ventilated, a problem when we have travelled to other cities. Moreover, the WiFi connection is good in the rooms we have stayed in, essential in this time and age. The hotel is in a perfect location to all of the main sightseeing spots in Istanbul. It has local supermarkets and restaurants very close by as well as several shops where you can buy affordable souvenirs - better prices than the bazaars! One thing that stood out to us this time was the kidnness of the staff. The hotel went above and beyond in sending over some jackets that were left behind in the hotel, Abdur-Raheem was the epitome of kind, understanding, and hospitable in ensuring our jackets made it back to London. Unfortunately the local area was experiencing electricity outages which caused some difficulties with the AC in the Summer heat.

The view from the roof terrace was AMAZING. Friendly staff and good aircon. Didn’t love the location, down a pretty scruffy back street. Felt they could have made more of the roof terrace which was only used to serve breakfast. Would have been nice to have a lift!

• Ranyah (10/5): - My sister and I stayed here for about 10 days and as two ladies staying alone in Istanbul for the first time were so happy with the location! The people running the B &B are so nice and accommodating, it was like staying with family. Abdul Raheem was amazing! My sister had to go to urgent care and he made arrangements for us with a trusted taxi to take us and bring us back. He also helped call the hospital and speak to the staff later when we needed help getting the report. Above and beyond service is an understatement! Also the location of this place is great! We could walk to almost anywhere in SultanAhmet day or night with no issues! And the view from the breakfast terrace is amazing! If I ever come back to Istanbul I'll definitely stay here again!

• 913JackH913 (10/5): Sultanamet Gem - We stayed at Dilhayat Kalfa Hotel the last week of May 2024. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Abdullah was extremely helpful answering any questions we had and arranging transportation for us. The room includes a very delicious breakfast buffet which is served on the terrace overlooking the sea served by Rosa, who was very attentive in making sure we were full. The rooms were very clean with fresh linens and a small fridge in the room. You couldn’t ask for a better location to the main attractions in Istanbul. We were just a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Topkapi Palace. There are many great restaurants in the neighborhood, which is very charming. There are many shops and a small bazaar on the way to Sultanamet Square. Abdullah recommended Sifa Turkish Bath, just around the corner from the hotel. We enjoyed it so much we went twice! Please don’t pass up this gem of a hotel!

• Nazma (8/5): Lovely location and friendly manager. - This was my second time staying at this lovely hotel. Hotel was very nice and in a really good location. It is about 3-5 min walk to the Blue Mosque. Brother Abdul Rahim is the manager, who is a lovely person and very helpful. I will definitely stay here again. Breakfast was included however it was Ramadan so we didn’t have the breakfast. It would’ve been nice if they gave us the breakfast for sehri/sohoor time so we could have had it before sunrise to keep our fast. But it was not possible, they could not arrange this.

However, what made it a great stay in the end was the manager, Abdul, who really went out of his way to make it a good experience when he was on shift the next day. He also recommended us some great restaurants in the area that aren’t just tourist traps!

• Reda (10/5): Homely athmosphere and best experienced - feel like at home, the owner very friendly, kind and helpful. As we just cameback from Umroh, he upgraded our room to the suites room. Spot on location, walk distance to many famous place in Istanbul. Will comeback again and recomended to others.

I felt like home and the staff were really nice and especially the manager Mr Abdul Rahim was very friendly and really good at hospitality so we had really enjoyed our stay here . I will definitely recommend this hotel to stay and want to come back again.
• Andrew (10/5): - The service was absolutely top notch; I really enjoyed chatting with the manager who was always helpful and willing to do whatever he needed to for the customers. The location is absolutely ideal for a visit to the old city. The area has tons of shops, restaurants, and all of the major sites within a few minutes walk.
• Eugen (4/5): Disappointing - proximity to city center and all major objectives no parking lot, could not sleep properly as there was a generator/hotel sized AC related device that was very noisy and only stop making loud noises at around 3 AM, which is totaly unacceptable. The person at the reception said he cannot do anything about it. The room furniture look aged and the walls dirty, nothing like in the pictures. The bathroom was ok. Breakfast was ok, very good actually but, there was no wifi on the top of the building, where the breakfast area is located
• Nafisa (10/5): Excellent location and the stay was comfortable - Excellent location, close to blue mosque 10 mins walk. Tram station 10 mins walk and very easy to use. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed in a room for 4, what I would say is the mattress was very thin and you could feel the springs, we had a child sleeping on it but he said he wasn’t comfortable.
• Leigh (10/5): - We were pleasantly greeted by Abdul, our host, who set us up in a room, though we arrived before their check-in time. He further moved our luggage to another room the following day. He was most helpful is directing us to eateries, arranging for reservations to a Turkish bathhouse, and taxis to various locations. The location was great and rooms were very clean as well as having necessary amenities. Breakfast was very good with a rooftop view of the Marmar sea. We would definitely stay there again.

• Anuradha (9/5): Superb - The hotel is very well located, less than 10 mins walk to the 4 major tourist points, Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, Basilic Cistern, and Topkapi Palace. The hotel and rooms were very clean, and well- equipped (electric kettle, refrigerator). The staff was good, and the manager, who was almost always available at the front desk, was extremely friendly and helpful, and readily provided us with tips and suggestions for our daily visits into the town. Breakfast was good, wholesome, and was served in a room with a terrace and views on the sea, which was a great start to our days. Nothing major to report as ""didn't like".Once in while there was a dirty smell in the bathroom, that lasted only a few minutes. There's probably a problem with the internal plumbing, but it didn't bother us much. The bathroom was well ventilated and stayed dry. It may be worth reminding that there is no elevator. The reception is on ground floor, rooms are on the next 2 floors, and then the breakfast room on top. We were not bothered by this though.
