clare (8/5): Visit to Gela - Gela isn't that nice, not much to do without a car! The room.was a bit cold but it was clean and comfortable. The owner Marco was fantastic and super friendly.

Rossella (8/5): B&B charmant et un service impeccable ! - Le personnel a été très aimable et disponible. Le proprietaire nous a même proposé de nous accompagner à la plage ! la chambre était vraiment magnifique, décorée avec gout. A refaire !
Bent Lygum (4/5): En kedelig oplevelse - Byen er ikke et besøg værd. Fik annuleret sidste overnatning, da byen ikke var interresant. Receptionen forlangte 30 Euro ekstra for afbestillingen sidste nat. Bad om betaling i kontanter, selv om de havde kortmaskine. Jeg måtte anmode om at få en kvittering, da de ikke ville have betaling med kort kunne ikke få morgenmad ved afrejsen kl 8.
Elio (4/5): Una delusione ! - Le recensioni non rispecchiano la realtà. Camera con scarsa illuminazione artificiale. Manca un qualsivoglia arredo per poter appoggiare il portatile o anche scrivere un appunto. Nel bagno il rotolo della carta igienica è appoggiato sul davanzale di una finestrella ( quasi una feritoia). Manca anche il portasapone ed asciugamani per il bidet. Nella doccia manca il doccione. La colazione compresa nel prezzo bisogna andare a consumarla in un bar fuori dall'hotel: colazione da bar e non da hotel. Gentile il personale.
Thomas (10/5): Très bon lieu pour passer une nuit ou plus - Ce B&B est tenu par Marco, qui nous a accueilli très chaleureusement, malgré notre arrivée tardive. Il nous a même aidé à porter nos bagages. Seul hic... il ne parle pas français ni anglais, ce qui a rendu les échanges assez difficiles (frustrant car lui comme nous avions envie d'échanger...). Malgré tout, nous avons réussi à nous comprendre. Marco a été de très bon conseil pour le choix d'un restaurant et nous a même accompagné a pieds (a 2 minutes) pour nous montrer la rue des restaurants. Je vous conseille d'ailleurs le petit resto qui permet de manger des pizzas, paninis et autres spécialités italiennes pour pas cher (je ne me souviens plus du nom). La chambre était très propre, spacieuse et décorée façon baroque. La salle de bains etait tres bien aussi avec tout le nécessaire fourni. Le petit dej inclus le lendemain se fait dans un "bar" (comme souvent en italie) à 2 minutes a pieds. Difficile là encore de se faire comprendre, mais on s'en sort toujours. En bref, je recommande vraiment ce lieu.

Verified traveler (8/5): Sehr schönes, kleines Hotel - Ein kleines, familiengeführtes Hotel in der Innenstadt von Gela. Sehr gepflegt, große Räume mit schöner Einrichtung. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service. Ein kleiner Abzug beim Service, weil das Frühstück nicht im Hotel serviert wird, sondern in einer Bar in der nahen Hauptstraße. Dort bekommt man auch nur das typische Minifrühstück aus einem Kaffee mit einem Stück Gebäck.
Arto (8/5): Friendly owner, artistic room - The owner was waiting for us outside the gate when we arrived and took us to a beautiful deluxe room by the garden gate. The owner couple was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was more esthetic than practical, and the breakfast was served at a bar by the main street. However, it was one of the most interesting hotels we stayed at during our 10 day visit to Sicily.
Verified traveler (8/5): - Wonderful idiosyncratic ally styled room, included spotlights in the floor. Very new, done with design very much in mind. Garden area at front still being developed. Breakfast around the corner. Palm running it could not be more helpful. The restaurant around th corner they recommended was excellent. Good location for the walls rather than the museum,. Worth checking price against other places.
Claud (10/5): Best hotel host, extremely nice and cordial - Hotel is undergoing restructuring so some comforts are missing (i.e. electric plugs, vent in the shower.) However, the person at the reception "Marco" was exceptionally kind and helpful. He even reached us with his motorcycle to assist us reaching the hotel as we were lost at a different location in the city. I am sure that given time, the restructuring issues will be over and this hotel remains one of the nicest I have ever frequented. I will go back there next year and strongly recommend it.
Kati (10/5): Arancini - Antiche Mura ist wirklich ein ganz besonderes Guesthouse. Marco und Liliana, die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich zu uns gewesen und haben bei jeder Gelegenheit den Kontakt zu uns gesucht und uns jeden Abend zum Arancini essen eingeladen, sehr lecker und unbedingt probieren.. Die Zimmer sind im sehr alten Stil eingerichtet, was mir persönlich sehr gut gefiel. Leider ist das Bett sehr unbequem da es viel zu hart ist und man die Sprungfedern spürt. Man sollte auch beachten das Gela nicht unbedingt zu den Touristenorten zählt. Das gute daran ist aber das man von allen sehr sehr nett behandelt wird.
