- Caron (6/5): Decently comfortable, clean and affordable - I liked the privacy and quiet The safety lock was broken and didn’t work. The toilet seat was tiny and very loose. The TV operation was complicated and there’s no instructions or info on using it or the Wi-Fi. Bed was too high from the floor. I didn’t like that the owner tried to charge my card before I checked in!

- William (1/5): MORE THAN HORRIBLE!!!! - I did not like anything about the actual facility!! The rooms were infested with ladybugs. The towels and washcloths were ratty and appeared to be dirty. The staff was non responsive to our request to change rooms due to bugs. The second room they placed us in the heater shot out fire and stopped working. And the third room was pseudoclean. Once we tried to speak with management we were told that the management does not speak to guest and they do not refund anyone due to the inconveniences incurred by the low quality and lack of cleanliness of their facility.

- Mario (2/5): It’s the place to stay at when it’s the only place around closest to my event. - The stay was close to the event location I was in town for. The place was quiet overall and there was no safety concerns whatsoever. I was given a smoking room when I requested a non smoking. It was FULL of flies which I spent the first hour killing. The room was a little humid and hot due to the AC put on heat auto so I had to wait a while for it to cool. There was a strong odor of chlorine coming from the sink and shower water. You would think that since they charged $90 for a room that I would at least get a towel not so rough and that would absorb water after showering. They were comparable to a towel I would use to clean a kitchen. Not only that, they were small. Lastly, why is the staff insistent on trying to clean the room AN HOUR before my stay is over? Not only that, but they seemed bothered when they called me 15 minutes before my stay is over and I was still in the room. Just wait until guest leave at that point.

The waffle iron was not ready for the first one, but was good for the second one. We were told that the water would be off from 6 AM to 9 AM, so we took our shower the previous night. No big deal, but was strange.

- GINO (4/5): - They advertise free breakfast and when I went to eat all the juice machines were out of order. Their breakfast consisted of a few brown apples and brown bananas. Room service left our used soaps and didn’t leave new ones.

Tatum is quite small, and the hotel's location is excellent for a 2-night stay. If we needed to stay longer, we would have. We enjoyed everything about the room/ hotel.
- Dockray (6/5): - The vent fan was dirty in the restroom. The shelf above the toilet was about to come off the wall. The shower curtain rod was about to come off the wall. The plug on the lamp between the 2 queen beds didn't work. We had 6 people and had to ask for more towels and were only given 2 and wasn't asked if we needed more. Overall, beds were comfortable, and sheets were clean and was pleased with the options there was for something to watch on tv. The room was spacious just wished a little bit more was put into making sure the small things were done and taken care of. Didn't like that shelving and shower curtain rod were almost coming off the wall. Also, didn't like that we I went to the Lobby to check out breakfast and coffee options that there was a sign that said food was not to be taken out of the lobby. I paid for a room with breakfast; I should be allowed to take it back to my room and eat it if I wanted to. The lobby was closed and locked around 10 pm and no housekeeping items were available after 10 pm. This basically meant that if I needed another pillow or blanket that I was not getting it until the next morning.

I explained this to the receptionist at the desk, but was not offered an explanation or anything.

The apple juice portion of the juice machine was broken, the coffee was nothing but hot water, and the food options/choices were few/limited. I didn't like the limited breakfast options, the faucet in the bathtub almost fell off when I turned the shower on, and 1 of the lights in the bathroom was burned out.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - When my workers got there at 9pm, the hotel employee/manager/owner, not sure of his position, told my workers that hotels.com doesn't charge enough and made them pay an extra 60.00. They had traveled from Oklahoma and were very tired and ready for sleep so they paid him. I called hotels.com and they told me they contacted the property and that the 60.00 was a deposit. I called the hotel back and he told me he was never contacted and they would not get it back. Very disappointed in hotels.com because I have reserved thousands of hotels and they were not truthful. And obviously will not stay at this hotel ever again.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Not great, not awful. - Upon first arrival we were greeted by the kind staff. We booked a king size bed, but were given two queens. Not very useful for husband and wife, but this stay was only for one night so not a huge complaint. The room was very musty smelling when we first walked in. It got gradually better after running the A/C for a couple hours. Very thin walls. Could hear what sounded like kids running around above us, and people going to breakfast very early in the morning. The furniture in the room was worn & torn. Overall, not my favorite place to stay, but it did in a pinch and we felt relatively safe to stay the night on our road trip.

The town was small, and I was surprised to see this nice hotel here. I really didn't like the check-in process. They copied my driver's ID and credit card back. This made me very suspicious. I had to trust them that they would discard the copy later. I would of preferred them to trust Booking.com for the payment. Of course, the reason they did this was that their Wi-Fi & TV service was down. They should have a back-up with the communication with Booking.com..

The free breakfast included waffles, frosted flakes, raisin brand, toast and jelly. I had to ask for them to fill the waffle batter and turn the coffee on. The juice machine wasn't working. Breakfast was skimpy, but they were polite about fixing the waffle batter and coffee. Saved us from stopping for breakfast. For the price, we'd stay there again.

- Chadwick (10/5): - My wife arrived before i did Ana the gave her a key but not the credit card. So she shut in room until i arrived shy i could sign the papers. So she got pretty hungry. Waiting to go by did with the card. And it's getting late not much open after 8 in this little town. But other than that. Good
- Rhonda (4/5): - First of all I reserved a King Bed. When i got there i found out i was given queen beds. I should have been told this upon my arrival, but was not. My room had no hot water. When I called I was told the hot water should be good because no one else had complained. The employee came and checked it, and it was working. The next morning same thing. I believe they cut the hot water heater down to save money.. The refrigerator was frozen over. Beds were hard as rocks. Very few towels in bathroom. Only 2 towels and 2 wash clothes. Lamps were unplugged and with a blind husband and me with a bad back it was hard for us to get them plugged up. Cannot recommend this place.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Water was brown and nasty and I was not told at check on that there was water issues. Tatum location I broke out after a shower and bed bugs in room 101 total want a refund but no answer at contact number. Please help me.
- Genova (8/5): - Always Need towels and toilet paper in the rooms. But if you just ask right at check in, they’ll give them to you. My husband and I are return customers at this location. It’s very convenient for us, and it’s quiet and clean. Reasonably priced.
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant - Clean and neat Staff was ridiculously unprofessional. Came to the check in counter in a Snuggie eating a bowl of cereal. Barely audible talked like a child.
- Ned (4/5): - Property was sold and between buyers. No service. Coffee pot leaked all the water out on the counter and did not work. Room wasn’t cleaned after check in. Ice machine barely worked. Old air conditioning units laying around property and in vending room. Worked for what I needed, but had far better experiences for the price. Maybe new owner will make improvements.
- David (7/5): Ok for a one night stay close to family. Bed was comfortable - Bathroom was hugh. Love the guy at the front desk, very friendly. Close to family and good eats in downtown area. (Traffic signal). Bathroom except it was NOT handicap accessible as far as the shower/bath. Lights in bathroom, only one worked. The refrigerator barely came on and wobbled so kept stuff in ice chest. The TV would not come on so had the front desk to reconnect all the wires. Not very cool in room considering it was humid outdoors.
- Constance (8/5): Staff very cooperative - Only room on lower floor was handicapped that didn’t have a table or desk to sit at. Staff cooperated and had a chair brought in for me. Staff were very obliging. Bathroom only had one of four lights working so very dim. Glad I don’t wear makeup. I parked with my cargo trailer right in front of building since not many people staying and staff told me I could park anywhere.

- Patricia (2/5): - When we first got there to check-in they were asleep at 10:30pm and had a “Closed” sign up. They had a number to call, but when I called no one picked up and it kept saying no one was available on the voice message. I rang the doorbell and a lady finally came up with a terrible attitude asking why I was ringing the doorbell because they were asleep. She declined to check us in and told us that she would call the police if we didn’t leave. She asked me to apologize, and even after apologizing and asking her if she could check us in because I had a baby in the car and had driving for many hours, she still declined. This was the worst experience I have ever had with Expedia, they should not be working with Expedia if they are going to be asleep and declining customers at 10:30pm.

- Michael (2/5): - I am disputing this charge. What a disgusting motel and the staff was not helpful and looked like drug users. We stayed at this place due to a wide power outage in East Texas on 6/17/23. We would have felt safer in our truck. Seriously, the A/C, internet, and coffee pot did not work plus, multiple flies in the room. No towels. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed at and I travel for business for over 23 years. How can I get a full refund?
