Celse (3/5): Pas au niveau tout simplement - L’emplacement Je n’ai pas aimé qu’on me loge dans une aile de l’hôtel disons qui était sale et pas au niveau d’un Sofitel lorsqu’on paie 1558€ pour 6 nuits la propriété et le service doivent être au niveau d’un Sofitel, hors je me suis retrouvé dans une chambre avec des nuisibles ! En plus aillant payé mon séjour directement et n’aillant souhaité laisser d’empreinte bancaire le personnel n’a pas fait preuve de tact en voulant m’imposer de régler toutes dépenses à chaque fois alors ça aurait été plus judicieux de me faire une note au check out ! Pour finir le ménage j’ai dû me plaindre pour qu’ils le fassent au quotidien ! Je me suis tué à leur expliquer que lorsqu’on fait le choix de venir au Sofitel c’est parce qu’on attend un niveau de service et propreté et la pour moi l’expérience à négative

Rachel (6/5): Unclean and elevator disruptions. - Great location. First room was extremely dirty - visible grey dust on the carpet around the bed and windows. The shower also did not drain. Staff did relocate me immediately after my compliant. The phone in the room did not work. Works on elevators occurred at multiple points throughout the day without any heads up to guests, meaning you were either stuck on your floor or in search of the service elevator.

Yewande (6/5): It was fair. Ended on - The external aesthetics and the lobby area. There were also some very warm staff members who went out of their way to ensure my comfort. My room was bad and I had to change my initial room and also get a workman to fix the door of the room I changed to. General look and feel of the wing I was in did not justify the charge for the room and some of the staff were out rightly cold. I also had an accident on the premises and noone made an effort to check and offer any assistance, other than when the ambulance came and a staff member had to lead them to my room.

The reception was cheerful but rigid about use of my own healing essential oil blend which dies not stain. For the price you pay she could be more accommodating .

x4atl (6/5): Highs and very lows - Sofitel Abidjan - I would rarely write this review, especially while I am still actually a guest in the hotel but honestly......this is my third time staying at the Sofitel Abidjan and what happened??? Yes, I just had a wonderful massage at the very notable Sofitel Spa, but the room I was given - in the tower - I had to call to have the refrigerator replaced as it wasn't running. (Tho, I kept calling and calling the front desk and when no one answered after ten minutes I took the elevator downstairs 16 floors to find someone). The air conditioner wasn't working and the tech person came in with a large ladder, opened up the cieling for about 15 minutes and then left the floor a mess - which granted, what is going on with the carpet anyway? I must be in a room that has yet to be refurbished, or vacuumed, and smells a bit of bug spray upon entry. And on returning to the room from massage, the lighting is so dim that I can barely see. I'm afraid I don't even want to unpack and will leave my clothes in suitcases until I can check out in two days time. Yes, the people who I interacted with were quite pleasant, but Accor what happened here? As a member I honestly expect more from your properties but this time I certainly didn't find it in my own accomadation.

vhwltd (2/5): Worst experience of my life never ever stay at this hotel - I can genuinely say this has been the worst experience in my lifestyle in this hotel… How on earth? They got their five star rating I have no idea the staff are rude ignorant patronising and racist. The hotel rooms are not sound proved at all you may as well be sleeping in the road. It’s so noisy. The air-conditioning systems are so outdated that they sound like they’re on even when they’re off and if you’re a light sleeper you’ve got no chance of getting a wink of sleep because it sits inside a motorway The Manager Jean francis Remi was nowhere to be seen when I requested him and it seems like none of them care and when you have an issue they just want you to go away and get on with it which is absolutely disgusting. This is a five star hotel I have spent the last three nights without any sleep at all because of the noise levels and I will never return here. It’s absolutely awful awful awful awful. When you try to explain to reception, what your issues they laugh at you they stare at you they make you feel uncomfortable. What a horrific experience one that I would never recommend.

Salle de sport inaccessible car en travaux, SPA payant et indigne d'un hôtel 5* (bains à remous ne fonctionnant pas, eau à peine tiède et hammam à peine chaud...). En sus, intoxication alimentaire suite à un repas pris sur place...

We booked the hotel based on the images shown on the website only to arrive and see a compete different room. Not only was the room old, but malfunctioning. Tv not working, bad wifi, stains in the bath tub and an A/C that keeps you up at night. The employees at the reception were also rude a very un pleasant stay. For a 5-star rated hotel I was expecting better.

CM002 (8/5): Iconic hotel - I really enjoyed my stay at the Ivoire. It is an iconic hotel with great architecture. The very large pool area is very impressive. The Pavillon restaurant serves Ivorian food and is sort of open air - it had a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was quite fairly good, not excellent, though staff were not particularly friendly. The gym was in the basement, small and unappealing, without effective air-con, that is definitely an area for improvement. My stay had not got off to a good start as upon my arrival at 4.30pm my room (a suite) was not ready. That was the last thing I needed after a long flight from Dubai. I kept badgering the member of staff to get me a room. She was not particularly communicative so I could not tell if she really took my concerns on board. In the end, after 90 minutes I finally got my room. It was spotlessly clean and had an extremely comfortable bed. Housekeeping service was very good. I later found a bottle of red wine, juices, fresh fruit and canapes in my room. The staff also agreed that I could extend my check-out time by an hour given the delay upon checking in. So overall, I was very happy and it was a good service recovery.

Les grands espaces à la réception pour s’installer et prendre un verre , la beauté de ses espaces un vrai voyage , la vue j’étais au 20e étage meme les ascenseur m’ont charmé j’étais amoureuse 😍 En vrai rien , tout était top 👍🏽 j’ai hâte d’avoir l’occasion d’y retourner. Merci Alphonse, Lamine et toutes vos équipes masculines. Les femmes gagnerait à sourire plus d’autant qu’elles sont belles.

Gisèle (1/5): HÔTEL LE PLUS NUL DU MONDE!! - C’est l’hôtel le plus nul qu’il m’a été donné de voir. Climatiseur en panne- le personnel est insuffisant et débordé, donc pas à l’écoute du client- solution trouvé à 4h du matin par le service technique qui n’a pu rien faire parce qu’il n’y avait pas de moteur dans le climatiseur. Il faisait 25 degré dans la chambre. On a dû être délogés 2 fois. Pour un hôtel haut de gamme et qui était assez cher la nuit, c’est inadmissible.

pauldA3410CM (10/5): Anne-Marie at the reception - I would like to take a moment to recognize Anne-Marie at the reception desk of Hotel Ivoire. I arrived at a time of extreme busyness at the hotel due to a conference. Anne-Marie took the time to take care of me. She displayed patience as she wanted to go through all the steps to assure that I received my preferred room based on my history. She really made a difference in my stay as, thanks to her professionalism, I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

j889814672 (4/5): Security problems - There were elements of the stay that were OK but in general I'd never go back. Check in was fast and friendly. Hallway to room was really dirty, like it hadn't been swept or mopped in weeks. Room was small but OK at first glance. Wifi worked pretty well. Bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. One of the big problems - no "do not disturb" signs or lights. Hotel staff walked in when I was in bed one night! Also, the balcony door did not close properly and did not lock. I would recommend for these reasons that female travelers avoid this hotel at all costs. Gym is a combo gym/sauna. It has no air conditioning at all, and no air flow at all, so it's up to 40C in there and totally uncomfortable. That's OK, however, because there's not enough equipment to get a workout and much of it is broken. So you won't spend much time in there anyway. Breakfast was OK but the staff would touch dirty stuff and then food (omelette station for example) which is not acceptable. Check out took a long time - looked like it was the first time he was doing it. The safety and security issues are a big problem for me. I won't go back.

Lynka Amanda (1/5): Regrets!!! - J’ai réservé une nuit du 16 au 17 dans une chambre standard. J’ai payé en cash pour cette nuit et l’hôtel m’a aussi prélevé le montant de cette nuitée sur ma carte visa! J ai réclamé la facture du paiement en cash, ils n’ont jamais voulu ma la donner, on m’a prise pour une folle! Je regrette d’avoir choisi cet hôtel, ce sont des voleurs!!!! Franchement!!!!
Ezra (10/5): - The rooms were excellent, clean, and tastefully furnished. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The food at the restaurants were outstanding! Overall, it was a superb experience, and will surely stay here again if my trip passes through Abidjan again, and will undoubtedly recommend this facility to anyone.

J’ai réserver une chambre supérieur mais à mon arrivée j’ai été surprise de voir que ma chambre était très petite et coincée. Pour le prix que j’ai payé je pense que je pouvais avoir mieux!

Osman (6/5): - Localisation superbe sur la baie de Cocody A l acceuil et puisl enregistrement on me donne la carte (clé) et puis débrouiller vous pour trouver la chambre. Lors de l enregistrement je propose de prélever un supplément pour les extras pas nécessaire on me dit que toute les activités ont des terminaux de paiements, donc pas possible de se promener dans l hôtel sans argent ou carte de crédit.

Yigal (9/5): Great for short business trip - The main building has spacious rooms with good variety on breakfast Close to a nice small modern shopping center Great welcoming team The carpet on the 6th floor was reset during which a strong oily smell was unbearable to stay in the room. Gym is mostly for running, less for power sets.
Fabienne (8/5): Le Sofitel Abidjan hôtel ivoire, un hôtel de choix qui vaut le séjour. - L’emplacement, la beauté des lieux, et surtout, la propreté des lieux. Les produits de choix à notre dispositions dans la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et savoureux. Le personnel est très professionnel et à l’écoute de nos besoins. Pour un hôtel de ce calibre, nous nous attendions à un lit très confortable. Or, le matelas formait une pente et était confortable sans plus. De plus, nous nous avons peu apprécié les frais imposés pour l’usage de couverts. Ayant séjourné dans plusieurs grands hôtels, c’est la première fois que de tels frais nous étaient imposés. Toutefois, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Sofitel.
