- Valorie (8/5): Good location and adequate accommodations. - Breakfast could use more options. They accommodated my gluten allergy well. It was a bit slow and limited choices. We elected no housekeeping, then the second day requested coffee and water to be replenished and trash to be emptied. They brough coffee but no cups and emptied 1 trash can but not the one in the bathroom. Probably should have chosen housekeeping in order to get these things I guess.

Leah crafted me a delicious tequila old fashioned and Taylor gave my family a great experience at the bar before heading out to a baby shower. A quick stop was made into a memorable experience. He was very polite and talked me into getting the world’s greatest chicken sandwich and it lived up to expectations. Was very good! Overall 10/10 would come back. Very tasty drinks as well!

The gym was average, The room was dated, the room was loud and one can hear all the vehicle and trash truck traffic during the middle of the night and overall the sleep was poor. I won’t be back during our next visit. The hotel needs a full refurbishment.

- N5030FJpault (10/5): Great Marriott property , better staff! - Really terrific stay- everything was good to great but most impressive was the staff, genuinely nice, friendly, helpful, and universally cheerful. As a Bonvoy member I’ve stayed at another MB property nearby and this Marriott is better in every way. Clean, well appointed room, adequate fitness center, nice hotel bar/restaurant (didn’t eat there, so no review). Perhaps best of all is the location- a quick walk to Public Market one way, nice stroll downtown to Baird Center the other way. Super convenient, very handy locale. No, best of all was the incredibly hospitable staff.

- deijhania (10/5): Great Service!! - I visited this hotel on October 25. I wasn’t there to get a room, and I didn’t have any questions about my stay. I was actually there on business. The manager, Danny, at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. He allowed me to take up some of his time to practice my sales pitch and get more familiar with my quote building software. This just shows his and Marriott’s ongoing commitment to providing a gracious and thoughtful experience to anyone that may walk through their doors. I recommend anyone traveling for business (or pleasure) to stop by the Milwaukee Downtown Marriot, you won’t regret it!

- m_prebble (8/5): Wish I had booked longer here ! - I have a 5 week work stint in Milwaukee WI of all places, and have decided to try and build up my Bonvoy pot. Wanting a change from the nearby Residence Inn, I decided to give this place a chance despite it not having any breakfast included and being slightly (but not that much more) expensive. The staff here were excellent. Always friendly, greeted me with a smile and were able to assist with my requests. The room was much smaller than residence inn naturally, but fully functional for what I needed. The AC unit was quite loud though, and I needed to turn it off at times due to the racket it made. Bathroom was spacious, and it’s a proper shower not a “shub”. The dispensers for soap, shampoo etc were mounted comically high up; clearly a tall person who did this! The cleaning lady had a sense of humor (I guess?) and swapped the order of these from time to time! One tiny complaint was it was near impossible to get the curtains to close completely, there would always be a small gap. Minor stuff really. On the whole this room was good. Bed was comfortable. TV was usable .. but slow and laggy. internet was fine. Elevators were quick and efficient. The week flew by and I could have easily stayed another. Thank you to all the staff here

- ShankerB (10/5): Great for business traveler - Stayed here for 3 nights while attending a convention. Its about half a mile from the convention center. A brisk walk away. Easy to get Uber. Lots of places to eat nearby. Internet is fast and good desk and layout to work from your room. Nice gym on the 2nd floor which I used. Lounge on the 2nd floor is very nice and very well stocked. Breakfast, evening appetizers, desserts, drinks, snacks at other times. Water pressure good. no issues with elevators, etc. Would stay here if i came back to MKE.

- James (7/5): Not impressed with Concierge Level - Location was very convenient. Cleanliness of room was good. The up-charge for "Concierge Level" was not worth it. The Executive/Concierge Lounge was only open till 8 pm (the sign said 10 pm), by which time there were no cocktails, food, or staff in the lounge. The breakfast was also disappointing - one morning nearly all food was gone by 9 am, and another there was little left. Frankly, there is better breakfast at Holliday Inn Express.
- letstakeabreak2 (10/5): Relaxing Weekend Getaway - Great Location - My husband and I stayed at the Marriott Downtown Milwaukee for a quick weekend getaway and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect—an easy walk to the Third Ward, the Public Market, and lots of great spots for cocktails and bites. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We especially enjoyed wrapping up our nights with a nightcap at the hotel restaurant, and breakfast before heading out was delicious and generously portioned. What really stood out to us about Milwaukee overall was how genuinely friendly and engaging everyone was. The city felt clean, relaxed, and a bit quieter—exactly the vibe we were hoping for. A great weekend escape!
- Bovet (10/5): Excellent - Everything was great. Downstairs at breakfast when I asked for a lot of lemons for lemon water, the waitress gave me a whole plate of lemons. That earned a lot of points with me and she got a great tip. Please keep doing that. Checking in. The staff didn’t know how to do it, did it wrong, and then tried to tell me I didn’t have a reservation, but then another staff member came over and said that she was doing it wrong. Slightly frustrating.

- doosry572 (10/5): Best hotel experience - Our first time staying at the Marriott Downtown and it did not disappoint from the very first interaction I had. We checked in at a very busy time in the evening, upon walking to the front desk, I was happily greeted by Brianna (supervisor) I explained to her that we have a motorcycle and weren’t sure where to go to park. In the midst of a very busy time for her she gladly dropped everything, walked outside and showed us our way to the parking garage, waited for us to grab our things and then showed us our way to the elevator and back to front desk. She is the kindest human in customer service and deserves the deepest recognition. Anyone would be lucky to have her on their team!

- Shannon (9/5): Great location for downtown activities - Beautiful and well-maintained property. Staff was top-notch. Walking distance to Summerfest, which is why we chose this location. We didn't spend much time there, but my only complaints were not having the option to self-park and had to pay over $50 for parking. Additionally, as a Bonvoy member, requested early check in and checked in early to ensure the room was ready for our arrival. They had no record of this and then 'upgraded' us to a higher floor with a bed choice we didn't want...ended up being next to the elevator. Paying close to $500 per night, was disappointing.
- 426walidm (10/5): The best front disc - When I entered the hotel the receptionist was very kind and accommodating, especially as the trip was taking very long, and Emma was amazing. Meanwhile, the other receptionist and her name was Ella she was a very committed young lady . She stepped way out her way to make sure I got my water, was helping me the entirety of my stay. She made ahe everything was great during my stay. Second say she checked with me multiple times, and compared to the other receptionist in the morning. I am the owner Vafencing gear.com and Head coach Scad University and I would be happy to hire her at my company any day.

- Emily (2/5): Lots of hassle for a fun one night stay - 2 Queen beds paid for at Marriot Transferred to Westin right after I booked Westin out us in a king bed room but didn’t tell me at check in so I had to go back to lobby and they told me it was the only room available but it was fine because it had a sleeper sofa They said they would send up sheets so we could make up the sofa bed I got to my room and it was not possible to open the sofa bed the way it was set up, so we had to move a bedside table a footstool and turn the extremely heavy sofa bed 90 degrees so we could open the sofa bed. The sofa bed had a random dirty towel made into it when we opened the sofa bed. The sheets were delivered to us and we got to make up our own sofa bed and then we went to sleep. The next day I called marriot because the Westin told me that marriot would deal with the situation. They Apollo’s gave me 30,000 marriot Bo boy points and free breakfast at the Westin. We went in for the free breakfast and placed our order. The waiter never returned to refill our coffee or water. After 42 minutes our food was delivered. And the waiter left the check and disappeared again. The breakfast was nice but it took over an hour to get food and we were starving. The bathrooms had no paper towels as we were leaving. Victoria was desk agent at Westin, very nice professional Brianna at marriot was also very nice.

- Jorge (4/5): Learned lesson; just focus on rate and book parking by my own when it comes to downtown hotels regardless of what advert - The property is ok; is what you expect from a Marriott branded hotel. The advertised rate indicate that there’s parking included in the rate. Upon check-in I was informed that there’s parking but it’s only valet and 45$/day. Check in clerk rather than trying to fix it was rude and told me that she could help find me other hotel in the area (oldest trick I. The book) while she was doing this I was able to find in one of my parking apps a spot in the public garage ACROSS THE STREET from the hotel parking for 21 dollars a day!!! It could have been so easy to just tell me my options but this clerk rather chose to go in with the swindle. I secured my parking in my mobile phone while she was going on with the check-in process. I didn’t mention this to her and once she was finished ex I asked her if she was the shift manager; she wasn’t. I requested to talk too the manager and she went into a word-salad/mumbling response about why her manager was not available at the time— ridiculous excuses. Just got my keys and moved o; not the best first impression. During check-in we were told there was daily housekeeping (great!!). It was indeed daily however beds were made only the first day; second and third day only bathroom was cleaned and towels replaced; also courtesy water was replaced however trash bins were not emptied and beds were not made….. baffled by this one!!!

- marlao390 (10/5): Excellent Concierge Service - The experience was great except we requested bathrobes and slippers but they were bit in the room. After calling the front desk, they delivered only the robes. The following day we called again about the slippers and they said they were out of stock. The concierge lounge was pleasant and enjoyable mainly due to Mario who helped us working the coffee and tea machine, and was knowledge and patient in explaining all the avaible options for food and how to order. He would check in often if we needed anything else. He was an excellent concierge and we hope to visit again thanks to him.

She is so friendly, the atmosphere of the bar is incredible, and all of the patrons are nice and respectable. Will be coming back to this bar for Mahysam’s service specifically!
