• John (8/5): Very good - The facilities were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Close to the station. Late check-out can be arranged till 1.00 pm at an additional cost of 1000¥ per hour. One side faces close to two railway lines, so it might be a little noisy at night. Fortunately my room was facing a different direction. About 15-20 minutes from Yokohama and about 30 minutes to Chinatown.

It was very convenient for pre cruise stay. The room was very small, was an adjustment and glad it was only needed for 1 night. Our shower leaked on floor, it seemed to be coming from under the sink area on the floor. It did not seem to be a first time but we were in a hurry to check out and did not advise hotel staff.

The mattress was VERY old and had a lot of springs poking out, which you’d feel when you slept. The room smelled, had stains everywhere, the wallpaper was peeling and was completely yellow (I think it might have been white originally). There was a lot of damage to the walls and the carpet was coming out in places. It was not a pleasant stay

Many others don't have English TV channels. Room decorations were a bit dated but I really can't complain because the price was so cheap.

• Jesse (6/5): It’s fine bring earplugs - It’s in a good spot. A five minute walk from Tsurumi Station, and Tsurumi Keikyu Station. It’s only a 20 minute train ride to Tokyo Station.There are several convenience stores next to it. As well as some good restaurants. The room was a decent size for just one person. The woman at the desk at check-in was very helpful. She managed to switch me to a non-smoking room when I’d accidentally booked a smoking one which is great. The walls are paper thin. You can hear absolutely everything your neighbours are doing, whether it’s going to the bathroom, or opening up a plastic wrapper. The arrangement of the desk in the room rendered it basically useless, as the alcove for sitting in was boxed in by the end of the bed making it impractical to sit at. The coin dryers took 2 1/2 hours (and 500¥) to dry a handful of clothes.

• Cinthia (8/5): Good value and good location - Very close to Tsurumi Station, a good place to stay if you want to spend a night somewhat close to Haneda (about 40 min counting walking and taking the train). If taking suitcases with you, pay attention to the notice showing the entrance with the elevator going a bit further and taking the ramp to the left. The staff can keep your suitcases for a while after checking out. I booked the double room to share the bed with my husband, but it had 2 single beds put together, so there was that uncomfortable crack in the middle...

Very nice staff talking English. Hotel convenient. Excellent breakfast, combining Japanese and Western food. Room very small, impossible to move in it or to put all the luggages. Not enough electricity plug in. The first night was too cold because the heating was out of order. However, the staff fixed the issue for the 2nd night.

• Beverley (9/5): Loved it! Will definitely visit again. - Conveniently located near Tsurumi Station and convenience stores. Perfect location for restaurants, pharmacies and stores. Very friendly staff. The rooms are a little small, which is to expected. It is exceptionally clean, though, and if live neatly, it won't be a problem.

The breakfast time is too short, because it ends 9am. Also the elevator access from the first floor was kind of hidden.
