We stayed in the garden Room and I would recommend this room to anyone. Would like to give special thanks to the breakfast lady on the last morning of our stay who at 6: 30am offered us coffee before we went to the airport. We had breakfast included. Great breakfast selection.

- 96nielss (10/5): A great place to come. - Granted, we've been to Garni on the Rock several times over the last 8 years, but it's still a great place to come. Centrally located in Arco, with walking distance to most things. From the first moment, you feel the genuine warmth, interest and joy of seeing each other from Elona and Paulo, and the rest of the staff. We would at any time recommend Garni On the Rock to families or couples going to Arco. We will definitely go there again.

The room was spotless, breakfast was excellent and the kids loved the bouldering room, games, slackline in the garden and the hot tub. The location was excellent, easily walkable to the castle, pool, climbing and some excellent restaurants. Above all the service was simply fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were very attentive to our needs. Highly recommended and we will be back!

- krdhP4850WZ (10/5): Amazing destination with rock wall! - My sister, son, and I had a delightful and restful experience at Garnì On The Rock! Our room was gorgeous and spacious. The staff was terrific, recommending a great place for a traditional meal and delicious salted caramel pistachio gelato! The jacuzzi was a welcome remedy after an active day on the Via Ferrata, and the teen loved having access to a climbing wall! Breakfast was also outstanding, with its water bottle station and access to a Nintendo Wii (again great for the teen). We were truly sad to leave such an excellent hotel!

Only down side is : If you have a large car getting to the hotel parking is difficult; if you have a small car you can, but directions in the area could be a bit better as you briefly have to enter the city center.

Das Spa (gegen Aufpreis), Whirpool, Kletterwand etc haben wir nicht genutzt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilft bei Restaurant-Empfehlungen, Reservierungen, Tipps für Touren etc Das Frühstück ist topp und soweit ich es mitbekommen habe, konnte jeder der Angestellten fließend deutsch (wenn man es brauch) Ich würde hier ohne Bedenken wieder Urlaub machen und hatte das Hotel auch von einem Freund empfohlen bekommen.

- darryj2016 (8/5): Stunning location, phenomenal hospitality - The "sheer" (pun intended) location is fantastic. The staff is very open, friendly and accommodating. The rooms are beautifully appointed and cozy.The breakfast buffet is the perfect start to any trip to the northern part of Lake Garda. This was my second visit to Arco during the Christmas holiday season, and the look, feel and atmosphere at Garni On The Rock made it very clear to us that we need to come again next year and must absolutely stay at this gem of a hotel. Only downside is the parking especially for larger vehicles, e.g. SUVs. Hotel sponsored parking is available, but it is about 150-200 m from the hotel across a busy street and down a hill, which could be an issue in inclement weather or if the guest has an issue with walking, especially with luggage.

We all had great fun at the bouldering wall, enjoyed the jacuzzi and the wonderful spa. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the kids liked the playroom very much, the breakfast was excellent and the location was very good.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Neu renoviertes Hotel direkt an der Altstadt von A - Spektakulär, direkt unter dem Felsen von Arco gelegenes Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, gutes Frühstück und angenehme Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind etwas karg eingerichtet, aber das ist sicherlich Geschmackssache. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
- Max (10/5): Neues Hotel in optimaler Lage - Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Beginn der Fußgängerzone von Arco. Insbesondere für Kletterer und Radfahrer ist das Hotel wirklich sehr gut geeignet (eigene Boulderwand im Hotel und ein abschließbarer Abstellkeller für Räder mit Montageständer und Kompressor). Die Radwege Richtung Torbole und Trient liegen fast neben dem Hotel und sind in wenigen Metern mit dem Rad erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Frühstück ist auch sehr umfangreich (Obstbuffet, diverse Müslis, Wurst und Käseauswahl). Parken kann man auf dem sehr großen öffentlichen Parkplatz etwa 100 Meter vom Hotel entfernt (mit Parkkarten vom Hotel), es gibt aber auch Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Hotel, sofern man sich durch die sehr enge Auffahrt traut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und stets bemüht einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.
- Nata (10/5): Modernes Hotel mit tollemTeam! - Super nettes Team! Frühstück toll und vielfältig, wird ständig aufgefüllt, immer mit frischem Obst! Täglich wurde eine Liste mit Aktivitäten (z.B. Märkte, Ausstellungen in der Region) ausgelegt. Für Wanderer und Bergsteiger perfekt. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer (4 Erw.) und fanden es etwas klein, eine Tür zwischen den Räumen wäre vielleicht ganz gut (Schiebetür?!). Im Bad könnte ein Regal unter dem Spiegel helfen seine Utensilien abzulegen. Im Großen und Ganzen waren wir aber sehr zufrieden! Vielen Dank an das liebe Team! Tipp: Uns hat fürs Abendessen das Restaurant al fiume und die Pizzeria Spaghetteria sehr gut gefallen!
- Kalle (10/5): gemütlich und modern - wir waren 5 Tage im Hotel Garni on the Rock, und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. die Zimmer sind sauber und von der Größe her ausreichend . Im Bad war es machmal etwas eng aber nicht zu eng. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und bei gutem Wetter kann man gemütlich auf der Dachterasse essen.Es gibt eine weitere Terasse mit einem kleinen Whirlpool direkt unter dem Berg.Die Lage ist direkt am Anfang der Fußgängerzone und bietet gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Zum Gardasee fahren Busse , die Haltestelle ist nicht weit. Mann fährt ca 10 min nach Riva del Garda. der Wasserfall Varone ist ca 15 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Arco selbst ist eher ein Ort für Kletterer, MountenBiker und Wanderer. P.S. schöne Grüße an die Nachbarskatzen =;-)
- Jennifer (6/5): Other similiar better hotels in area. - Although many things were irritating about my stay I do have to admit the breakfast was fantastic! I did however, book this hotel to enjoy the spa but never saw on the booking the spa costs 50 Euros. Even when I asked about it when checking in there was no mention it was 50 Euros. Just when I tried to use it the next day they pointed out that fine detail of 50 Euros and you must schedule 1 hour in advance. Of course you can say the language difference mix up the communication but this seemed to happen on a lot of different items during my stay. I've stayed in Arco & Riva del Garda at least 5 times this year and in different hotels and the spa was always included in the booking price so took me by surprise. Also, be careful as small print says you can't check in after 9pm. I didn't notice this and my flight got in at 9pm so I didn't arrive until after 11pm. They called me at 9pm and did accommodate me which was nice. Parking is across the street in a large parking community lot so can be difficult to find a parking space at times. The first night they gave me 2 euros to pay the meter until they had enough passes returned for me to put in the car. So this required my having to get up early enough to go put money in the meter. Nice to give me the coins but irritating for sure. No wifi in the room which I didn't notice when booking. No English TV channels and was told when the weather is bad (which it wasn't) the reception is not good for those channels.

- ida_i2416 (10/5): Great stay! - My husband and I had a great stay at Garni on the Rock. Hotel has great location (not only for visiting Arco but for exploring Lago di Garda and surroundings. Rooms were modern and tidy, garden was beautiful and hot tub was always empty. Best part staying was breakfast and friendly and helpfull staff (tnx again for the tips). One flaw- mattrasses slide from the bed and that is not very practical.
- MandyJ2012 (10/5): Perfetto! - I stayed here while on a short stay in Arco, coaching at an international climbing competition. The location was amazing - close to the rock master stadium, in the old town, beneath the castle on the side of the rock - yet very peaceful at night. The facility is exceptionally cleaned, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is healthy, fun and tasty. I just wish I had time to fully relax and enjoy a long breakfast on the terrace, and then explore more of the area myself. Next time!

The hotel is extremely clean, comfortable, and in a great location for exploring Arco. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful--they even let us store our luggage after check out while we went on our canyon trip. The breakfast was excellent--they definitely keep the activities in the area in mind with lots of satisfying and healthy options. We really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely hotel with great location in Arco - which is only cycling away from Riva del Garda. (I would rather stay here than in Riva. Arco is lovely and peacefull small town) Right by the stunning Rock and the castle you can easily hike from the corner of the hotel as a start for your hiking experiments in Garda. We stayed for 3 nights with two teens in family suite and it was perfect. Beds were firm and really good - also kids' opened sofa. Hotel was quiet, but it is also small - which is good. Two rooms were functioning well for the whole family. The breakfast was really nice - thanks to Carola - we also got small lunch packs to go in the morning to Via Ferrata (all day hiking) when we asked. Breakfast was healthy, nicely put and absolutely best coffee machine. Beautiful view from the breakfast terrace. WiFi was working really well and fast and it was free!! Thanks to Pablo from warmly welcome and help. Ask him if you need help getting reservations for dining. Hotel had free parking and own indoor claiming wall for kids or even bigger people :) Don't let 3 stars to hold your decision - this is better than many five stars hotels we have been in - only some unnecessary items are missing from 5 star.

- Catbert (8/5): Tolles Hotel - Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Der Service überaus freundlich und die Atmosphäre sehr familiär. Das Frühstück war überragend. Die Produkte waren täglich frisch und einige davon sogar Bio. Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
