You are a few minutes away from the bars and restaurants of Pigneto and also near various transport links to take you around Rome. Host was nice on arrival and recommend a couple of places to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend!

• Tony (10/5): - Overall the experience was amazing here. The rooms and common area were charming, lovely, and perfect for us lovebirds. Sweet Lory met us on arrival to go over details on room, local scene, and give us information about getting around. The building is located right across the street from the tram train that leads you right into the city center and main termini. Surrounding area might not be the suburbs, but it comes alive at night with restaurants and a hip scene reminiscent of Melrose/Silverlake/ Echo Park. We highly recommend this place to everyone.

Leider gibt es im Hotel nur 5 Zimmer, wovon zwei nicht wirklich gut zum Übernachten geeignet sind (Zimmer 4 und 5). In diesen Zimmer ist es viel zu Laut. Wir hatten eines der Zimmer. In der ersten Nacht haben wir garnicht schlafen können, da die Tram und die Brücke draußen vorm Hotel viel zu laut sind. Leider ist das Hotel in einer nicht so guten Gegend (sozialer Brennpunkt). Hatten an einem Abend schon ziemliche Angst in der Tram, weil da viele Menschen unter Drogen waren, die einem sehr nah kamen. Aus diesen Gründen würden wir nicht nochmal dort einchecken.
• Clare (10/5): - Such a good experience! Ignore the outside (front). At the back it’s really pretty, with communal, gated gardens. The room itself was excellent, the welcome warm, and the shared kitchen very well equipped for breakfast, and tea and coffee 24 hours. Location really convenient and local neighbourhood was great, with a pedestrianised street of bars and restaurants. We loved it, and would definitely recommend Pigneto to all. Only hitch was bad shower.

They made a folder which has tips to travel in Rome and things like restaurant recommendations. The environment is beautiful and comfortable to stay. It is hard to find a good place to stay in Rome but I am glad I picked this place:) !

• Arminder (6/5): Great hotel, not so great location - Great hotel though a little far out of town. The Metro is being extended to link its nearest station on Line C with the rest of the metro. At the moment this isn't connected so your only options are by tram and bus. However, this hotel is right outside a tram station and the tram depot and the noise each night (until 12) and every morning (from 430am) is too loud. If you're looking for a great nights sleep then you should reconsider this hotel. The room itself and the staff are great, it's a shame about the location.
• Julie (10/5): Bon hôtel sur Rome - Nous avons séjourné 4 nuit dans cet hôtel. Nous avons eu un accueil très sympathique. Malgré notre arrivée tardive le personnel a pris le temps de tout bien nous explique. Il nous a offert une carte de la ville et nous a conseillé pour les transports en commun. Derrière l'hôtel il y a une rue plutôt cool avec pleins de bars et restaurants branchés. L'hôtel correspond exactement aux photos et est tres propre. Les chambres sont faites tous les jours. Le seul hic c'est que l'hôtel est un petit peu excentré du centre. Mais le tram qui se trouve devant la porte de l'hôtel permet de gagner le centre en 10min maximum !
• Rosie (10/5): Cosy room and friendly stuff - The room was very nice. They cleaned up very well before we arrived. The stuff welcomed us very friendly. Even if we didn't have breakfast included they always served cereals and cake for every guest in the kitchen. We would love to stay here again.
• dazed (4/5): Not sleep friendly - If you want a good nights sleep after a long day seeing the sights in Rome DO NOT stay here. The air conditioning only worked when it felt like so had to have windows open. But the worst thing was the noise from the trams, it was so loud and the tram depot is right outside so all the trams came back into the depot at night up until about 11.30pm then all went back out starting at about 4am. Every time a tram went past which seemed like every 5 minutes the building shook as is if there was an earthquake going on. The room was nicely furnished and clean, and the social room was a nice little touch with cakes, tea/coffee and milk and butter in the fridge which was free to use. The hotel advertises itself as being in a trendy area but I would not call it trendy more rundown. There was graffiti and litter everywhere, this is definitely not the most attractive area of Rome and quite a way from the sights,
• Verified traveler (10/5): Schöner Aufenthalt in Rom - Wir hatten einen echt schönen Städtetrip in Rom. Unser Zimmer war echt super. Es ist sehr gemütlich und absolut sauber. Genau wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer in den Hof. Würde ich auch jedem empfehlen denn zur Straße hin könnte es etwas laut werden. Wir haben aber sehr gut geschlafen. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und wir haben gute Tipps für Rom bekommen. Wenn wir wieder nach Rom fahren kommen wir auf jeden Fall zurück in die Luxury Rooms
• Verified traveler (10/5): Familiäres Hotel - Tolles, familiäres Hotel, in dem man das Gefühl hat "zu Hause" zu sein. Direkte Anbindung in die Innenstadt (12min zu Termini). Zimmer alle hübsch dekoriert und neu renoviert. Sehr sauber! Das Personal ist zwar nicht andauernd vor Ort, jedoch 24h telefonisch zu erreichen. Mit gutem Englisch bekommt man allerlei Tipps, um Rom perfekt zu erkunden!

Mittags haben alle Cafés und Bars geschlossen, erst ab Abend kann man dort richtig essen und trinken (in pigneto). Es gibt quasi über die Straße eine Pizzeria, die super ist (L'Aquila, Preis- Leistung top). Der Name der Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen natürlich etwas angehoben... luxuriös ist es nicht! Es sind schöne, gepflegte, kleine, saubere Zimmer. Und hat die gemeinsame Küche gefallen, dort liegen Toastbrot, Cornflakes, Kaffee, Tee, Milch, usw bereit, immer wieder auch ein Kuchen. Jeder kann sich bedienen, sehr locker und entspannt dort! Der Aufzug im Gebäude ist sehr! eng. Ein Kinderwagen passt nur rein, wenn man Räder abmontiert...

• phil (2/5): Far away from rome - The room is too far away from the centre of Rome to be commutable for a tourist. It is located within a rough area so we did not feel safe staying at this location and had to book another hotel. We asked for the staff to book a taxi, she told us she had but nothing turned up for an hour and she ushered us out of the property even though we had paid for 3 nights and then asked for us not to give a bad review! We stood outside trying to flag a taxi, but none would stop, I assume it is because of the location as we did not have difficulty once amongst romes city boundary. Unless you want to travel 8 stops on a rundown tram away from the tourist attractions I would recommend steering clear.

The bars and restaurants were great and it was good to be out of the tourist zone to see how people in Rome live. Loved the women's bookshop/bar. The accommodation was excellent value for money. Was great having the living area and cooked a simple meal there one night when we were too tired to go back out after a long day sightseeing.
• Marie-Theres (8/5): Super schöne Unterkunft - Super Service, nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, Zimmerausstattung war super. Modern eingerichtet. Niedlich war das kleine "Frühstücksangebot"! Alles in allem würde ich immer wieder in dieses Hotel zurückkehren.
• Christin (8/5): Schöne & saubere Zimmer, nicht weit vom Zentrum - In nur wenigen Minuten vom Bahnhof Termini zu erreichen. Straßenbahn vor der Tür. Mobil zu jeder Zeit. Unkompliziertes ein-/auschecken und eine Gemeinschaftsküche zum Kochen. Eine sehr gepflegte Unterkunft, saubere Zimmer. Völlig ausreichende Zimmergröße mit Fön, Kühlschrank, TV. Wir hatten ein Zimmer, welches seitlich zur Straße lag. Ich empfehle für empfindliche Schläfer Ohropax, da die Straßenbahn die ganze Nacht über fährt. Mich hat es nur mäßig gestört. Das ist aber auch der einzige kleine Nachteil meiner Meinung nach.

Room was exceptionally clean with lovely comfortable bed and pillows. Area does seem a bit run down on first look but we found that many areas of rome look this way (so don't be put off) tram stop is just outside with trams about every 10 mins,only a few stops to central rome. i would definitely recommend staying here. also has a nice gated garden area.

O hotel é um B&B, porém não há serviço de quarto (apenas limpeza), em compensação uma ótima área comum com estrutura para cozinhar. O bairro Pigneto possui um contraste diferente, uma área é pobre, meio decadente, porém possui uma rua com muitos bons bares e restaurantes, fruto de uma revitalização da área. Danielle e Lori foram muito atenciosos em nossas solicitações.
• Kim (10/5): Excellent Apartment just out of the centre - We had such a fantastic stay in Rome at Pigneto Luxury Rooms. The service was fantastic - we were late in arriving but met with great hospitality from the staff. The room was fantastic - very clean and comfortable. The common area was fantastic with amenities and even food for our use. We were able to leave our bags there on the last day until our return to the airport. The only potential downside was that it was quite noisy with trams & trains outside but we were so tired from all the walking that it didn't affect us at all!

• Elena (8/5): Hotel centrico y con encanto - El hotel era tal y como aparecia en las fotos, cuidada decoracion y con detalles que hizo nuestra estancia muy agradeble. Su ubicacion a unos 15 min. de la estacion central Termini, punto de conexion con todas direcciones y cerca de una parada de bus y tranvia lo hace tambien perfecto para moverte por Roma. El unico "pero" era, que al tener sus cocheras cerca, por la noche y primera hora de la mañana se oia un poco de ruido. Pero sin duda lo recomendamos a todo el que vaya a conocer esta maravillosa ciudad.
• Whitney (8/5): Nice hotel but noisy - First impressions were excellent, the style of the hotel is lovely. Tram stop outside, very convenient. Free breakfast in the morning, great if you're on a budget. Nice area, lots of places to eat and drink. If you enjoy walking, you can get to the Colosseum in about 45 mins on foot. This hotel is good for couples but I would suggest only staying for a few nights as the tram is so noisy that it keeps you awake for a large part of the night. The noise is so loud that it rattles the windows. Also, if there are inconsiderate guests and you are in the to by the kitchen (like we were), it can get a bit noisy in the morning too. While the room was not dirty, it certainly wasn't spotless - a bit dusty and hair down the drain in the shower. They change the towels and sheets every few days. Overall, I liked this hotel very much. The only thing that lets it down is the noise issue.

The shower in the bathroom had a slow drain and mildew in the grout lines between the tiles. The water was not hot enough. The room was a little noisy because its entrance was in the communal kitchen area.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Tolles BnB zum Zuhausefühlen - Ich war mit meinem Freund für 4 Tage in diesem BnB und wir waren begeistert! Das Team ist hilfsbereit und freundlich, hat immer Tipps bezüglich der Sehenswürdigkeiten oder Restaurants. Die Ausstattung ist auch wirklich gut. Minibar mit fairen Preisen (zB 1€ für 1l Wasser), Fön, Handtücher, LCD-Fernseher, alles da ... Bemerkenswert ist, dass man rund um die Uhr sich etwas zu essen nehmen kann. Es gibt immer frischen Kuchen, ebenso alles nötige für ein kleines Frühstück! Im großen und gemütlichen Gemeinschaftsraum gibt es auch einen PC und einen Drucker, den man kostenfrei benutzen darf - praktisch, wenn man sich noch Tickets ausdrucken muss! Die Gegend Pigneto ist wohl sehr im Kommen, es gibt viele (sehr gute) Bars, Restaurants und Cafés. Auch wenn es etwas außerhalb liegt ist man mit 2 Tram-Bahnen und gefühlt 10 Bussen gut angebunden und schnell bis mittelschnell am gewünschten Ziel. Wir würden jedes Mal wieder gerne hier wohnen! Can help yourself to basic food and utensils in the kitchenette. Good location outside of the centre but with an easy 10 minute tram ride to Termini. Lots of nice restaurants in the Pigneto area.

• Frank (4/5): Interesting Room - Nice room in an old building in a poor part of town, which some taxi drivers warn against. We found access difficult especially at night. The service by the young owners was excellent. This wasn't our type of hotel but may suit younger travellers.
• Maegan (10/5): Great hotel, friendly staff, extremely helpful. - It took a bit of work to find the location as it is within a residential building in Pigneto, but my stay was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, the facilities were clean and tidy, and the common area was very well equipped.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice Apartment /House Bnb. - Once introduced to the Rooms it becomes clear this is similar to a shared house with a very high standard. Large comfortable rooms and a communal lounge. Friendly staff made our stay simple to organize transport and put us at ease.

• Elena (8/5): Clean and comfortable room - The b&b is 10 min by tram from Termini station. The location is not the best but it is ok. Restaurants and shops are in a few streets behind the b&b. The room is of a good size, clean and comfortable. The décor is very nice either in the room and in the communal areas. Breakfast is self service and includes coffee, tea, cakes, biscuits, jam, Nutella, granola and more. A proper espresso machine is available 24h as well as all food mentioned above and it is unlimited.
• San Kong (10/5): CAN'T GO WRONG! - The hotel staff was awesome. They were genuinely kind and nice enough to explain to me right in the beginning the best tourist places I should go for my solo getaway trip. The room was very clean and tidy. It has basically everything you need, air-con or heating, small freezer, clean towels, tv and a super nice bathroom. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is going to rome for a nice relaxed trip.
• Kevin (10/5): Lovely surprise - We were pleasantly surprised. Not what we expected when we arrived, but once inside, fantastic. The owners were so nice and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was fabulous. It had all we could have wished for considering how much we paid. Transport to and from Rome center easy and cheap, sometimes very busy though, but not a problem for my wife and I, it was actually quite fun, and very cheap. I would definitely recommend.

• Aliza (8/5): Sweet Dreams - Overall the hosts were lovely and an inexpensive place for the quality of service. Memory Foam mattress was on point!!! My one concern was the neighborhood was out of the way from the main tourist attractions but you can take a 25 min bus ride to be in the neighborhood.

• Maggie (10/5): Beautiful Room, Lovely Break, Great Apartment - Very nice welcome, great hospitality. Room was very nicely refurbished, clean and tidy. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook, theres always coffee and tea. Theres a great selection of breakfast options too, cakes, pies and toast. Overall just a great apartment to relax and chill after a long tiring day in Rome.
• J (4/5): Dont be fooled by the nice room pictures online - The Hotel we were staying at if you can call it that (was one of 6 rooms on a block of what apperead to be flats). The area (Pigneto) is very ghetto and nothing touristy about it. its too far from the main attractions and the trams running right next to the hotel will NOT let you sleep will all the noise they make. The transport from our hotel to the centre was not easy, if youre used to simplicity and easy directions you wont find that with the pigneto buses operating around the centre of rome. The room was spacious and the wifi good which are the only good things about it, the sink was to small and couldnt wash your face without making a mess all around you, the shower head was not fit for purpose and the shower drainage did not work. Every time we went in the shower the water would just sit there and drain very slow, felt filthy. The rooms were not cleaned or tidied daily and the towels only get changed every three days. So if you wanna have a shower daily youll have to use a towel you already used the day before. We were fooled by the nice pictures online and there is nothing luxury about it. Better spend a little more cash on a proper hotel with staff 24/7 and be a bit closer to the main touristy attractions than fall for this, oh and there are no staff at this place or even a reception so if you ever needed help or if you had an emergency there is no one around for you to go to. We were very dissapointed with this experience. And finally no breakfast served
• Jeff (10/5): Perfect room. Perfect service. Perfect price. - Our stay was absolutely wonderful in all respects. Sonia took great care of us and responded to our emails very promptly. Our arrival time was delayed significantly and even though we arrived very early the next morning, we only had to wait a short time for someone to arrive to check us in, and never felt like we were a burden. The apartment is decorated in a very lovely and classy way. The old piano in the common room is a particularly nice touch. Our room was exceptionally clean, with great views over the lovely courtyard. Our bed was also very comfortable. The additional amenities were superb as well. The common room has couches, tables, computer, and cooking facilities. One evening a couple and young child made dinner on the stove and they looked as if they had everything they needed. The breakfast was a delicious assortment of cakes, cereals, juice, milk, tea, and coffee. Before I arrived, that sounded pretty basic compared to my thoughts on American breakfasts, but it was very good and suited us just fine. (Also cake and milk make for a great late night snack) The building is in a great location. Easy to catch the tram, bus, or metro and is just a few minutes ride from the Colosseum. All in all, I highly recommend this place to anyone. For the quality of the amenities and room, the location from the city center and neighborhood, and the outstanding, personalized service we received, this place is perfect. And with all that, you can't beat the price.
• Verified traveler (6/5): If only it was closer to rome - I loved the hotel and I love the hosts and kitchen. and i loved the excellent wifi service and hipster like restaurants nearby. I just didn't like how far it was from rome. Unlike other places where the metros are clean and not so busy, in italy, the buses are super crowed and uncomfortable so to be far away is not a good thing. Also, the neighborhood itself has a scary dangerous vibe so that's the only reason why I give a 3. tHE ACtual hotel is a 5 but neighborhood and distance is a 2.
• Abdullah (10/5): 5 days in Rome - Room was very clean and location was great to utalize public transportation. We had a great experince staying in Pigneto Luxury Rooms. P.S. It is an apartment that is divided into rooms and one shared room located in a residental building.
• Dyanna (8/5): Great value for low price - Surrounding neighborhood isn't very nice. You'll expect to take public transportation to get to the old part of the city where the tourist attractions are. This commute will take about 45 minutes. The staff were nice. The shared kitchen was a nice touch but missing some typical tools like cutting knives and bowls. There are free cake and juices to use but the cake and snacks are not that good. Prepare to clean after yourselves! Overall it was a good stay for how much you pay.
• Rick and Jess (10/5): Lovely cosy hotel, clean and comfortable. - The room is big and comfortable. Clean, modern and cosy hotel. Very helpful staff, they will text you (international mobile) before your arrival to arrange your check in. Breakfast not included and no dinning area, however there is a common area included drink and cooking faculties which you can used for free. Homemade cake available for free and they lovely. Area may not be the best but still easy to get to most of the attraction. Staff will introduce all the transportation when you check in. Bedroom is modern clean and big (big in rome), bed is comfortable. We had 3 nice nights, good recharged night after long walk during day time for all attraction.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel poor location - We really enjoyed our stay here but found the location wasn't fantastic. It was a long walk into town and the buses and trams were not comfortable to travel on.
• Francesca (10/5): One of the BEST places we stayed - Loved this place from the start. The flat was pretty large and it held I believe 6 or 7 individual rooms. The rooms were by far the most comfortable out of all our stays( we stayed in 4 B&B's from Venice, Florence, Rome and Capri). One thing I really appreciated was mattress, it was amazing! Although there is not always staff present( usually only in the mornings) it was no issue with us, especially since the man who greeted us ( Daniel I think ?) went over everything extensively from the details of the room to public transport and places to eat/visit. Honestly, the only not so great aspect was the neighborhood. Pigneto is an up and comming, "trendy" area that has some shady parts. And being next to tram is both a blessing and a curse. It was great to literally walk out the front door and catch the tram to our next location. However, our stay at the hotel coincided with the bus strike, which was held right next door at one of the tram stations and it was not particularly fun to wake up to chanting, arguing and illegal fireworks. But, this is not any fault of the hotel and based on the the other amazing aspects of this place, I would recommend this place in a heart beat. Other pros: 1. There's no scheduled breakfast time so you can sleep in and then head to the self serve kitchen and grab something to eat on your own time, all while mingling with other travelers. 2. The room we had (#3) had both a toilette and shower room, each with its own sink, which we adapted into a his and her bathroom. 3. And, the staff was incredibly friendly. Especially the two older women who would come in the mornings to clean the room, and (if your asked nicely) make some amazing coffee. 4. there's a really great and super affordable restaurant nearby called MaleVite Risto. No joke, this place is amazing. Just go, trust me.

• Swasi (10/5): Amazing Place to Stay!! - My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying here for a couple of nights last week and it was great, would recommend to all! The staff, although not always around are super helpful and can always be reached for help at all times via email, made our trip so much better and easier to organise. Great place, gorgeous room and very close to lots of public transport with tram and bus lines right through to all the attractions of Rome and the centre as well and many great local eateries around..Nothing but great things to say about Pigneto Luxury Rooms and the staff!
• Lily (8/5): Beautiful room, friendly staff; not great outside - The rooms are fabulous for the price. They have a common room with a kitchen stocked with goodies that guests can freely use/consume. The only negative is that the hotel is located in not so great neighbourhood, and it is not the closest to the major sites.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Good experience - The hotel was one the comfiest we have stayed in. We did not realise how far out it was, so had we been prepared it would have been fine. (20 minute tram/metro journey to termini - regular trams). The experience would seem to rely on other guests as some were great and were noisy. Breakfast is one croissant (no spreads provided), spaghetti if you'd like... Staff were very helpful and looked after our bags on our last day after we'd checked out. All in all it was a good experience.
• 2characterz (8/5): Nice room in a not so convenient area - The room was pretty nice. The shower and toilet were seperated (each with a sink), which was convenient. There's a common room with pie, drinks, and basic cooking ingredients for the guests. There's also a computer there for guests to use. The area though is not the easiest to get to. We took a bus and then a tram to get there from Termini. Once you're there you have to contact them to meet you at the door as there's no reception. Overall, it was pretty good if you don't mind the extra time to go places.
• Jessica (10/5): Fantastic hotel in Rome - We stayed in Rome for a weekend break. This hotel was perfect! The rooms are lovely, very clean, comfy and beautifully decorated. Sonia, the owner is so friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is located slightly out of the city center it is really easy to get to by public transport (tram or bus) we had no problem coming back later in the evening aswell. Around the hotel there are several shops, bars and restaurants aswell. Having been to Rome a few times now this is definitely the best hotel I have stayed in. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Rome!
