Perfect location to all Cabarete nightlife and very cool atmosphere.i am a kite boarder and location to kite beach is just a few meters down the beach and you can kite right out front of the millennium. They also have gear lockers . Seller hotel will definitely revisit

- VIVIANA (4/5): - My stay at this hotel was a mix of positives and major frustrations. On the bright side, the hotel was clean, the staff at Yalla and Aqua were friendly, and the food and drinks were great. Guests were from everywhere in the world; everyone was friendly and there was always a hood conversation to be had. The pool attendants were also attentive, setting up a nice spot on the beach upon request. The location was another plus. However, the negatives significantly impacted my stay. Upon arrival, I requested extra hangers, which took three calls to arrive. The in-room safe was poorly maintained—its batteries were held with tape and kept coming loose, requiring maintenance visit to unlock. Instead of fixing it properly, they just reset it each time. The worst part was the room itself. Every morning, a bird persistently tapped on my window, waking me up. The hotel did nothing to address this or offer a room change. The floor-to-ceiling circular windows had old, missing blackout curtains, so I had to use hair clips to keep them shut, but light still disrupted my sleep. The internet was down for a full day, making calls impossible, and overall, the connection was poor—not ideal for work or streaming. While the hotel has good aspects, the poor room conditions and lack of attention to guest comfort made for a disappointing stay. I wouldn’t return unless major improvements were made. You can go to the bar and restaurants without having to stay there.

- Juan (6/5): - The property is full of potential, and I have stayed there on other occasions but this time I can't help but comment about the staff who work there. The lack of uniform to identify it is a big problem, the pool and restaurant staff get confused with the guests because it is very easy to find them lying in the shade with their cell phone in their hand. Also be a little rude with the guests. It may be that this part of the hotel is sublet as the front desk, bar and spa staff have their uniforms, but the hotel looks bad thanks to the rudeness and lack of professionalism of the pool and restaurant staff. Regarding the physical part of the hotel, I think it is time to invest money in the rooms because they are starting to feel a little dated.
- FABIAN (10/5): - First, starting with the Manager of the property; MEGHAN C. MAGUIRE. Ms. Maguire, was extremely professional and kind. Before I even arrived to the Hotel, Ms. Maguire reached out to me via email to make sure everything was situated. During my stay, Ms. Maguire was so laid back and cool. She was always willing to suggest places to visit or answer any questions. Her office was always open for guest to come in and chat with her. I felt like I was talking with a friend from New York. It helped that she spoke English. The staff and front desk were extremely friendly as well. ILIANA, YAMILE and ENMANUEL, were extremely helpful in suggesting places for me to eat, shop, transportation and supermarkets. Very nice and funny to chat with. MERY, was also a staff member whom worked at the hotel bar. She was extremely helpful at also suggesting great places to eat. I had a ball and great laughs with YAMILE AND MERY. YAMILE, was nice enough to place my food for delivery, being that I did not know the way some of the restaurants operated. I was in fact in a different country. I wrote everyone’s name in CAPS, to point out how these individuals, were so helpful and friendly. I would like other future guest, to remember their names; and have the same experience. The pool staff at the restaurant were also extremely friendly. First with the owner, DAVID and staff; WILSON AND MICHELLE. Thanks again guys for my amazing hospitality. May GOD Bless you all. Thankfully management made up for it by accommodating us with a complimentary spa treatment, as it was our anniversary as well. Had a great time engaging with late night staff members in the entertainment area. Service at the restaurant was good, but the best thing were the killer BloodyMarys.

- Ricardo (4/5): - I have been a recurrent customer of this hotel for many years. Hotel service has been deteriorating over time. I will not go back to stay at this hotel any longer. Aside from the staff of the swimming pool who do a great job, We were forced to sign at check in an acknowledgement on limitations the hotel imposed on the use of pool chairs that seems other guests either did not comply or were not informed. Staff at the front desk was not friendly, on the contrary quite rude. Customer satisfaction is certainly neither a priority for the front desk staff nor of the hotel management. Customers are disposable items in this hotel.

- 43carlitag (10/5): Super Great Experience at Millenium Resort & Spa Cabarete - DR - Millenium Resort & Spa is located in the city of Cabarete on the North side of the Dominican Republic. Prime location 2 minutes drive from town. Super market, change point, and other stores right across from the resort's entrance. The hotel is right on the beach. The kiteboarding school is right next door not to mention the delicious restaurant Yalla and ATM Machine on premises. My experience at Millenium Resort & Spa was overal excellent and each and every staff made me feel welcome and at home. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY ME!!!

- DYLAN (10/5): - The entire property is kept immaculately. Shrubs trimmed, grass cut, walk ways clean and well lit at night. Tiled hallways are cleaned almost daily. The infinity pool is large enough to swim long laps and is not chlorinated, but crystal clear. Evening ambience is "tropical dreamy" with well placed and colored lighting. Rooms are well appointed and up to date featuring stucco walls and tiled floors. Excellent view of the beach and ocean from most rooms. Beds are very comfortable and don't rock or wiggle. This property is modern, comfortable, and clean, clean, clean.

- Moses212 (10/5): I'm a return guest and this is an excellent hotel! - I've stayed all along the beach in Cabarete and having stayed at Millennium a few times, I noticed I wrote a review years back and it's as great as ever. Millennium is a perfect location - right on the beach, centrally located and a short walk to the strip of restaurants and bars on the beach or up to kite beach. Though you can kite right in front. Another super big plus for Millennium is that if someone in the group isn't a kiter, the pool in front is beautiful and right on the beach, so you're enjoying the ocean and the action no matter what you're into. The onsite spa is excellent. The restaurant attached to the hotel, Yalla, is consistently great and I'll post a separate review. A big thanks to Meghan, Estebania, Kiko and the rest of the team. Meghan went out of her way to look out for us and I saw that she does this for all guests which is something really fantastic! Especially as this was during a super busy holiday week. One other tip is that the hotel is set up with excellent drivers. Meghan set up a car for us as we were arriving in Santiago, and one of the guys they use, Ramon, could not have been better. This is important when arriving after a long day of travel.

Other than those things, loved the resort. Will likely stay there again. Staff was wonderful and laundry service was very affordable!
- ondarock (10/5): Outstanding staff and facilities! - Our first time visiting Cabarete and Millennium! A small town feel with amazing beach front restaurants but without the busy tourist activity! We realize it was low season but our first vacation that didn’t feel over commercialized or the typical tourist “trap”! Highly recommend this area generally and Millennium specifically!
- Snowinpalm7 (8/5): Modern, clean, pleasant staff - Stayed just after hurricane Fiona and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is very modern and comfortable and everything was functioning. Just a couple of constructive comments: you almost had to be a body builder to open the sliding glass door (apparently needed lubricant) in 223. The fact that there was a "toaster oven" instead of a microwave was curious. Not much you can do with the former and a microwave is so good for reheating, etc. Yalla, the hotel restaurant, is in a separate building, so at night you'd think there would be extra efforts to assist the visitor to go out there. Instead, the lighting in the walkway under the arbors on the side of the building was off and it was very dark. The lighting on the path directly out the back of the hotel is weak. During the day, the chrome hand rail going up the stairs to Yalla is scorching hot - no warning and no cloth or other material to protect the user. I have disabilities but could have used the stairs in the hotel except for the fact there are no railings. I may have had quite a difficulty if the electricity was out or if there was some other emergency. Railings are essential.
- Maria (8/5): - This hotel is very comfortable. The rooms were very clean, the staff was friendly. The location was the best part, walkind distance from the best places to eat. The only thing I didn´t like was the suite I got wasn´t very cold in the bedroom, because the air conditioning wasn´t enough perhaps for the whole suite I guess. It hot a bit hot during the night.
- alibrygotta (8/5): Perfect for kiters - Perfect for kiters. The LEK kiting school is located directly in front and is fantastic. In August there were just the right amount of kiters around. Not too many where it was super crowded. Just enough so you felt like you had plenty of company out there. Our room felt very clean and comfortable, and we loved being so close to the beach. The pool is really nice. The food at the restaurant is good, not great. But we loved being right next to Gypsy bowls and Ubuntu! I went up to Natura and down to Carib for yoga. Look at the bulletin board at Fresh Fresh to find current classes. Super friendly staff at the hotel. And lovely outdoor massage spot.

- Y4169MLeddiel (10/5): Repetitive Guest Review - Stayed in 333 was happy to arrive and to be welcomed by the staff, the rooms still have this “ wow” impact on me each time I open the door, there is some more to improve in the rooms to modernize it like the Wi-Fi and the soaps but generally speaking it’s good. Was happy to see the improvements in the restaurant, the new roof give an nice elegant touch that the place deserve, David the manager of the restaurant is young working man, always present. impressive that he remembered my name and my order from my previous stay. The staff are unique the crew didn’t change for years and they contiguous happy people to be around. The food is delicious i I orders the chicken pinchos and it’s got the right amount of “picante” to kick. Very happy to be back and to see everyone! Edward

- Philippe_DC (10/5): Couldn't askc for better place to stay - location: 5 min walk from all the downtown restaurants, 20min walk on the beach to kite beach, <5min from the supermarket service: impecable at all levels restaurant: aqua was perfect for late breakfast before kitesurfing lessons, tapas anytime, great drinks. Staff was friendly and made us feel home immediately. view: can't beat the view of the ocean from the living room/balcony with the kites in the background lovely pool with lounge chairs always available around (this was a busy spring break week) room: OMG, this was a very spacious apartment with big, modern, clean bedroom, living room, kitchen, and balcony. I expected great, we got top notch! excellent kitesurfing school (LEK) just in front of the hotel. This is a residence hotel. One of the apartment was for sale. We were very tempted to buy it! maybe on our next trip... I have traveled all over the world and prefer visiting new places, but felt in love with Cabarete, and the Millenium was definitely an ideal place to stay. Checking how we can come back asap :) Thank you to the entire staff. Just one comment for the owner of 203: the mattress could be changed, this was the only aspects to be improved.
- Annette (6/5): - I stayed for the weekend of 4/22/22 - 4/25/22, The apartment was amazing a lot of space comfortable and super clean. The restaurant by the pool area needs to update the menu, service and chef the food was terrible. The utensils cups plates and glasses were not cleaned or washed properly…. Pillows on the Sofas had mildew. The little sugar packs on tables had mildew too. The place is very quiet and peaceful

- Frough (10/5): - I loved this resort. Absolutely wonderful staff, lovely spa. Vit C facial made my skin glow. Beautiful views on the beach and right next to kite surfing school. Short beach walk from the bars and restaurants. Pool was also incredible. Will be coming back to Cabarete in a few months and will stay at Millennium again. Thanks Meghan!!

- Angela (10/5): - Absolutely loved it here. The property itself was very well-maintained, clear and quite modern in its decor, with all the comforts you would want and need. The staff were particularly helpful, with the concierge making sure everything was meeting my needs. The on-site restaurant was also very nice, with polite and courteous staff and a really delicious menu; you must try their Tuna: superb! Overall, a really great stay and I will be back!
- Ana Maritza (6/5): - The property lists itself 20 minutes from (Santiago International) STI airport but it is a little under 2 hours. My friend and I were upset that the listing was wrong and our taxi cab told us that this is a common occurrence- bad listing details to bring clients to the area. For all guest wanting to travel from Santiago to Cabarete, be aware of the 2 hour travel to and from. The put a damper on our trip. The staff was a hit or miss. Some were super helpful, others made it seem as if the guest were a bother. For the most part the hotel was very nice. Beautiful view. Very well kept.

- Jane (10/5): - Millennium is uniquely situated on the curve of Cabarete's beach. In one direction, you can walk to Kite Beach and beyond; on the other it's a short stroll to beach restaurants and town. It's an exquisite property: rooms, grounds, vibe, gorgeous pool -- all reasons enough to stay -- but the real draw is more elemental: ocean, wind, kites, beach. That whole package. Stunning. That's why we continue to return.
- Sherribird (10/5): What a slice of paradise! - We arrived Sunday afternoon and were picked up by our driver arranged by the hotel. The Millennium is a wonderful hotel with all the amenities for comfort. Our room was perfect for the two of us, and the view was pure paradise facing the ocean. I am not certain of her title, but Meghan was very knowledgeable of the area and accommodating for all of our needs at the hotel and other activities outside of the hotel. The grounds and the hotel are kept very neat and clean. We had a couples massage at the spa that was very relaxing. Tasty bites and drinks are at the poolside bar and very convenient. As it was our first time Cabarete, we would gladly return! Highly recommend!
- jjay1972 (6/5): Great Stay until I was stereo typed by (profiled) Staff member - I checked in on Monday 2/20/22 room321, I enjoyed the property. Great view of the ocean and kite surfing. The Bar staff is amazing friendly and will go out their way to cater to you. I toured around city to city leaving early morning daily. Mainly coming back to the property to unwind several days went well until .2/23/22 the pool attendant walks over to me and says you cannot be here. In front of a mid aged white couple, the lady even felt insulted. Whats your room number the chairs is for hotel guest only. embarrassing me in front of and white couple. As, if I was not qualified to be on property I gave him my room number he still insist the lounge chairs i could not use. Several minutes later the bartender comes down from the bar and speaks with me. I tell him my interaction with the pool attendant and how he caters too all the other guest.I feel all guest should be treated equal not because the color of your skin. The bartender than brought the pool attendant over to apologize. Which appear to just be a formality not sincere at all. It’s said because I really enjoyed the location and property but staff like this make rating you a 5 star tough. I travel to your country quite frequently staying here again may be a tough opilo to swallow. Jay
