- Elf (8/5): Good B&B, close to a Metro station and shops - The hotel was clean (rated in overall). However, you probably could get a room with a particular smell on bed stuff (pillow and duvet), also some historical marks on them (get a chance to figure out what happened on them before). There were several local shops around that area, also the public transportation like Metro, very convenient to travel in Rome.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not very comfortable, ill-managed - The property is a large apartment that has been subdivided into several units. We stayed in one with two bedrooms, one large and one quite small, with a double bed against the wall that leaves little room to move. The bathroom is shared between the rooms, but in such a way that the small room has to be traversed in order to access it. All in all, the place is not very comfortable for four people. Though there is a reception, management only appears to staff it when check-ins occur, which must be coordinated beforehand. The staff is friendly, but the operation could be improved.

Appena usciti dalla stazione c'è un supermercato aperto 24h ben fornito (c'è pure il reparto rosticceria/salumeria/panificio sempre aperto).. ideale per chi trascorre tutta la giornata fuori e vuole portarsi appresso il cibo. La stanza era molto confortevole e per colazione c'era molta scelta. Il bagno era pulito e provvisto di tutti i servizi necessari: doccia, specchio, bidet, wc e asciugacapelli. Consiglio vivamente questo B&B per l'ottima qualità prezzo (circa €130 per 2 persone per 2 notti). NB: la tassa di soggiorno non è €3 a persona a notte (fino a massimo 10 notti) come scritto sul sito ma €3.50.

- Elizabeth (10/5): - We had a really nice stay of eight days at Domus Dei Consoli. Very comfortable bed, a nice big room, and a huge wardrobe to put things away were all huge pluses. The B&B is in the Porta Furba neighborhood, just 9 stops or 25 minutes from Termini or the central metro station. The neighborhood itself is attractive with a nice shop across the street for coffee, cocktails and some food items, and across the square is a pub/restaurant where we ate several times.This being Rome, the pub part of the building resides in a 400 a.d. granary. Excellent pizza! Federica the proprietor is lovely and very helpful with local suggestions. I believe we stayed in the Roma room, which has a nice big bed, private bath and private balcony. I recommend it.

- Ashley (10/5): Friendly staff, good place to stay! - Federica was great and showed us the room and kitchen when we arrived. She was so nice and even gave us suggestions for places to eat since we arrived late and were starving. She also gave me a map of the city and pointed out places we should definitely go to. The B&B is right near the metro and made it extremely easy to access the center city of Rome in 20 minutes without having to pay crazy expensive hotel rates. The breakfast served was nice and had items like cereal and really good biscuits/pastries. There was 6 of us in the room that included 1 double bed (in a little hallway next to the big room), a king bed and 2 twin beds so it was a little tight at times but we definitely made it work. Sharing the bathroom between the 6 of us was the only struggle but the staff cleaned the bathroom after we left for the day, which certainly helped. Overall we were pleased with our stay and appreciated the helpfulness of the staff!

- Raffaele (6/5): Un bagno minuscolo - La posizione è comoda vicino alla staz. della metro A, la camera da letto spaziosa ma priva di un posto dove appoggiare le valigie, abbiamo usato il lettino presente nella stanza, la cosa più importante gli spazi nel bagno erano ridicoli, un lavello appena più grande di una pentola per la pasta. Lo spazio per la colazione risicato e con poca varietà.

Coffee ☕️ was delicious. The neighborhood had a lot of trash and graffiti but housed nice supermarkets and restaurants. This is not located in city center but easily accessible by metro.

It was a little small in the room, but totally made up for by the working air conditioner and cute continental breakfast. Federica was awesome! She was welcoming and even provided emergency shopping tips when the airline lost our luggage. Near the metro adn good local eats. I would stay here again!

- Caroline (8/5): Prima hotelletje voor twee of drie nachtjes! - Een "hotel" in een appartementencomplex. Een groot appartement waar diverse kamers zijn. Er zijn twee kamers met een eigen badkamer, er zijn twee kamers die een badkamer en toilet delen. Als familie vonden wij dat geen probleem, met een vreemde had ik dit niet prettig gevonden. De eigenaresse is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je voelt je er thuis, het is net alsof je op visite bent bij iemand. Geen hotel gevoel. Het is allemaal klein en vol, maar alles is er wat je nodig hebt om er te slapen, te douchen en te ontbijten. Het ontbijt is in buffetvorm, in een keuken met kleine tafeltjes en stoeltjes. Er staat van alles voor een klein ontbijt (absoluut NIET luxe). De bedden zijn prima, er is airco op de kamer, er liggen schone handdoeken. De kamer wordt niet schoongemaakt tijdens het verblijf (wij verbleven drie nachten) maar de badkamer en het toilet wel. Als je de stad Rome bezoekt en alleen wilt ontbijten en slapen in je hotel dan is dit een prima hotel voor twee of drie nachtjes.

- jelena (10/5): Tolles b&b im netten Viertel (metro nähe) - ein freundlicher empfang, hilfreiche besitzerin, schönes geräumiges zimmer. alles sehr sauber und mit viel liebe bedacht. die besitzerin hat alles zum wohl des gastes ausgerichtet. man fühlt sich gleich wohl. ubahn nähe (3min) und schnell im zentrum. toller italienischer markt direkt unterm fenster! einfach super! grazie federica!
- Bruce W. (10/5): Fun in Rome - We had a nice time in Rome, thanks to our hostess. She is kind and friendly. We did need to call her, as this is a bed and breakfast and she does not stay at the location all day. The rooms (4) are in a large building and there is an elevator. It is best to arrange a time by email to be at the hotel, or to call and arrange a time to meet her. Thankfully we had a phone that worked in Rome. The owner has a lovely taste in decorations for the place and there is an air conditioner available. We had a room that overlooked the street market below. The balcony has a table and two chairs. The internet had some problems, but we have found this to be the case in many locations along our journey. The signal is not very strong and she had to reboot the router to get it together. Parking is not available with the premises. You can park nearby in a garage for 10 euros per day. There is public parking on the streets, but finding a place to park is very difficult. The parking garage that she suggested was good. The walk to the subway is about 5 minutes. We suggest that bread and cheese be added to the breakfast. There are other items that are good, such as yogurt, cereals, and coffee. She has a good selection, but we like bread and cheese.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Auberge à Rome - Auberge jeunesse à 10 minutes en métro du centre-ville de Rome (la bouche de métro est à 5 minutes de l'auberge a pieds). Nous avons été très bien reçus lors du check-in. L'hôtesse est très gentille et s'assure que nous ne manquions de rien. Par contre, il y a eu une erreur de réservation, donc nous avons dû changer de chambre apres la première journée. Nous avons eu droit à un appartement avec grand balcon la première journée dû à cette erreur. La 2ieme et 3ieme journée, la chambre était minuscule, mais propre. Pas super bien entretenue, mais nous ne manquions de rien. Le déjeuner n'a rien d'extravagant, mais assez pour trouver son compte. (pain, croissants, café, céréales, jus, yogourt et biscuits.) Le seul hic, c'est que nous n'avions pas accès à la cuisine en dehors des heures de déjeuner. De plus, les chambres ne sont pas très bien insonorisées, alors on entend les voisins et l'auberge se situe sur un boulevard.
- Ian Jenkinson (10/5): A must for any family visiting Rome - Perfect for a family trip. Two rooms that share a bathroom allowed the adults to sleep separately from the 3 children. The location is close to Metro line A and therefore less than 15 minutes to the centre of Rome. Takeaway and restaurants are nearby and offer plenty of variety. The fire and water cafe along the road has an English speaking server which is very helpful when ordering.

Avevamo prenotato per una notte, un mese prima una camera per due matrimoniale "letto classic" come da descrizione dell'offerta Hotel.com ad 82 euro, tanti per il quartiere Quadraro. Ci aspettavamo un normale letto matrimoniale. Avendo viaggiato tantissimo da solo per lavoro, innumerevoli volte ho dormito in una camera doppia "uso singola". E invece ci siamo imbattuti, in una camera singola "uso doppia". Il letto,lungi dall'essere "matrimoniale classico" era una piazza e 1/2 (definizione della titolare " Queen size " addossato ad una parete in una stanza larga 2,5 metri scarsi. Peccato. DOVEVAMO essere avvertiti prima di questa discrepanza, ai limiti della truffa. Peccato. Vorremmo dare una seconda possibilità perchè tra l'altro la localizzazione ci è molto comoda.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice b&b in Rome - We had a great stay at Domus dei Consoli. It was easy to find and the owner was very welcoming and informative. She even printed tickets to Vatican city for us so we wouldn't have to wait in the long lines. The room was baby friendly and the breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast. There were some great restaurants nearby and a grocery store within a couple blocks. We really enjoyed the sushi restaurant. There was a place to get your laundry done a block away. The metro was a 5 minute walk and a 20 minute ride to city center. Overall it was a very convienent place to stay in for multiple nights.
- Andre (8/5): Great B&B - Great B&B. Just have in mind its not a hotel. Federica, the owner, is a very nice person. Helped us feel at home. Although the bathrooms are shared we didn´t have any problems. At the most we had to wait for a couple of minutes to take a shower. Very good breakfest. Bread, cereals, milk, croassaints, great coffee, yogurt, butter and jelly. Good location. Nice neihborhood. Easy access to the metro and laundry nearby. Just 20 min metro to Termini Station. I recommend it !!
