Es wäre noch komfortabler, wenn es im Zimmer einen Wasseroberfläche gäbe, für die Zubereitung von Kaffee/Tee.

wandering_dive_geek (10/5): Fantastic stay! Woukd stay here again! - I stayed over Christmas holidays. Location is perfect, a short walk to the basilica. Room was sinple but clean. Bed was comfortable. I arrived in the afternoon when there was no reception anymore. I had called from the main door but there was no one answering. I waited quite a bit and was already worried. Fortunately a man who lives in the same building had arrived and I was able to get in. Nestle at the reception was helpful with restaurant recommendations. She had also helped me with directions on how to get to the place from the airport and how to travel back to the airport. I hope they will welcome well behaved dogs in the future as I plan to travel with my dog on my next visit.

Yuran (1/5): Very poor quality and don't worth the money - To be honest, nothing! 1，I got no hot water in my first night, I arrived at 1am but this is not an excuse. The staff was also not helpful at all. There were no discount etc offered. 2, the bed is sloped and very hard. 3, the interior design of the room is not as shown on the picture, it is very bad quality and smudged, i think people have no experience at all can paint that. 4, the room size is smaller than the guidance, even including the toilet. 5, there is no room service on Sunday! 6, the building only has half of 1 floor as the hotel. 7，i have no light next to my bed side. How can the hotel rate 9. 3 overall?
Carl (10/5): - This hotel has an excellent location, with Vatican city within easy walking distance, and attractions such as the Colosseum, Roman forum, the Parthenon, and the Trevi fountain a short bus or train ride away. There are many excellent dining options in the area, and on our first night there our host provided us with great instructions as to how to best get from one site to another. The room was not overly spacious but was very clean. DO NOT take a taxi here from the train station, as it is very easy to do that leg using the metro A line. We learned a lesson the hard way that you need to be very careful taking taxis in Rome, if you do make sure the meter is turned on, and insist on paying card whenever possible.

Jordyn (10/5): I loved this place, I would absolutely stay again - The staff were so helpful. Building is super safe and very quiet. Rooms were stylish and very clean. The staff really went out of their way to make everything easy and comfortable including a useful itinerary for sightseeing. The view from our room of saint peters basilica was such an unexpected surprise and made the place even more special. 10 minute walk to the Vatican, 10 minute walk to Castello st Angelo and lots of food options in the area. Also a 4 minute walk from the metro station which can easily connect you to the colosseum, termini, and anywhere else in central Rome. Shower was nice, and bed was comfortable The only thing for me was the pillows, maybe a softer/fluffier one as an option. One was very very thin

Gönül (10/5): - Mein Aufenthalt war großartig. Das Zimmer war zwar etwas klein, aber komfortabel und außergewöhnlich sauber. Das Bett ist sehr bequem, das Badezimmer sehr luxuriös. Ich habe mich unbeschreiblich wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist fantastisch, mitten in der Altstadt, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichbar. Zahlreiche Restaurants, Bars, Minimärkte und ein zwei Supermärkte in unmittelbarer Nähe. Alle Zimmer befinden sich auf der obersten Etage in einem alten Gebäude mit Fahrstuhl im alten Stil. Sehr eindrucksvoll. Die Dame an der Rezeption ist sehr liebenswürdig. Der Preis ist zwar etwas hoch, aber dafür bekommt man wirklich was geboten. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Bis auf den hohen Preis für ein kleines Zimmer, überhaupt nichts.
Brigitte (6/5): Female Solo Traveler - I stayed here as the room selected was perfect for a 1-person solo traveler. The room was just what I needed for my short stay however when I arrived the elevator was broken, and I had to climb 5 flights of stairs with my suitcase as well as anytime I needed to leave or come back which was quite the unexpected hike. What I hadn't anticipated though was that the staff isn't there after hours or completely on Sunday so I was quite uncomfortable not knowing who I was sharing common space with and not having anyone there in case something went wrong. It made my extremely uncomfortable.
Nobuyuki (9/5): エレベーター！ - 室内は清潔で新しい状態に保たれており、とても快適でした。エレベーターの不具合さえなければ次回も利用したいと思います。チェックアウトの前日からエレベーターが動いていましたが、恐らく念のために手伝いの若者をチェックアウト時に待機させてくれていたのは、評価します。宿の責任とは言えないかもしれませんが、5泊6日の内4日間ビルのエレベーターが使用できず、到着時にスーツケース等を、宿がある5階(日本なら6階)まで運ぶのにとても苦労した。滞在中も一度外出したら極力部屋に戻らずに済むように行動せざるを得なかった。買い物をずっと持ったままだったり、日中の観光後に着替えもせずに夕食に出かけるなど、普段の旅行ではとらない行動を強いられた。

H3285MMraquelp (2/5): - Was looking forward to this. Booked it for my daughter, when she arrived there had the reservation number and a pin number. Nothing would work. The PIN number would not open the door. The phone number doesn't exist. Basically had to frantically look for another accommodation for her last minute after she was standing in front of the door for over 1 hour after a very, very long trip. Terrible experience. Hopefully we will get our refund.
Maria (10/5): Comfort and tranquility with excellent hospitality - I have stayed at Residenza Scipione repeatedly because it is so comfortable, quiet and clean, and the staff is so nice especially Nestlé. It is conveniently located in Prati, not far from the Vatican but outside of the oppressive tourist area. The neighborhood is very, very nice, andkind of upscale and I love having breakfast at the Sciascia Café and having ice cream at the Officina Gelato (in via Tacito 66). These are my go to places when I am in Rome. Nothing!

proudmomk (10/5): We would stay again. - This building is delightfully charming and very easy to walk to various popular sites in Rome. We had the superior room with a view of the dome. It was not the quietest as we could sometimes hear traffic (but it was quiet in the late hours) and the walls are somewhat thin as we could hear muffled conversations from our neighbors. The young receptionist/hotel onsite manager was very helpful and friendly. A good, solid choice and we would stay again.

John William (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay! It is on the top floor of a building with other businesses and apartments, so this is not a typical hotel. It only has about 5 or 6 rooms. There was a beautiful view of St. Peter's Basilica from the room. The street itself is fairly quiet but close to shops and restaurants. There is also a Metro station only a few blocks away. I stayed 4 nights and would stay there again. I arrived late (after closing) and departed early (before closing), but Nestle from the front desk was very helpful via messaging. This property doesn't have a lot of extra amenities but is a wonderful simple option for a nice place to sleep close to the Vatican.

Layla (10/5): Exceptional - I liked how friendly Nestle was. It was clean and I got a great deal for the price. View of St Peters from room. Very clean. For solo traveler it was great. Very close to Vatican city and close to Metro station. Would stay again. Bed was hard. Water runs after flushing toilet. And one elevator I didn't use.
Bosisio (10/5): Cozy, loads of light, friendly, amazing neighborhood - What a lovely property. I stayed for two nights and it was worth every penny. I got a room upgrade as soon as I arrived with a direct view to the St. Peter’s dome. My beautiful room was on the top floor with widows on two walls. Super clean and very friendly stuff! Would recommend it to everyone
Edward (9/5): Fantastic Stay Near the Vatican! - This double room in Rome was perfect for my trip. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to the Vatican and Ottaviano Metro station, making it super convenient to explore the city. The apartment is spotless and well-maintained, and the room itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. The best part? I could see the Vatican dome from my window, which made the stay even more special. The host was truly outstanding—her hospitality was top-notch. She provided detailed explanations about the room, neighborhood, and transportation, ensuring a smooth stay. I give this place 1000 out of 10 it was absolutely delightful to be there. location is great. The room was excellent. The view was amazing shops and and everything else is just outside your door and the staff were absolutely wonderful!

Carissa (10/5): - We had a wonderful time at this property. It was conveniently located and walking distance to Vatican City. We were in Room 4 and had breathtaking views of St. Peter’s Dome. We even caught a gorgeous sunset one evening while enjoying a glass of wine in our room. Maria was the receptionist during our stay and was very accommodating. She arranged a transfer to and from the airport for us and was very helpful. The room was very clean and there was a daily cleaning service. If you do not need a ton of amenities during your stay and plan on exploring the hot spots of Rome, I highly recommend Residenza Scipioni Luxury Rooms. It is conveniently located by many great restaurants and cafes in a safe neighborhood.
