• Diyar (4/5): - I have requested an extra bed in our “Deluxe Plus” room, and when I slept on it, I had several bite marks on my arms and legs (in the pattern that bedbugs bite, in clusters or in lines), and my mom, who slept in another bed had nothing on her. After checking the bed, I saw that the mattress was covered in yellow stains, and tiny blood marks, indicating bedbugs. This can be further proven by chipped wood behind the headboard of the bed frame. I had complained to management regarding this, and was told that “I have yellow stains on my mattress too”. Ok? But your house isn’t a so called luxury holiday where it’s nearly £200 per night. So we have been deflected by them and been sent on our way. So with clear indications of bedbugs, we have been ignored. They don’t care for their extra portable beds, which to be honest wasn’t even comfortable. Regardless, if you are planning on staying here, don’t bother, just have a dinner at the restaurant and leave, since that’s the only good part.

• Francis (10/5): - A lovely relaxing overnight stay. Room was lovely and clean and a massive comfy bed. Staff were very polite and attentive, food was amazing the Turkish breakfast which is included in the price was more than enough we thoroughly enjoyed it.

• Thomas (10/5): - The hotel is in a nice marina. The room was spectacular with two balconies and an amazing view. The restaurant at the hotel had a good menu and breakfast was good. However, the hotel is located in a secluded location, and you need a car. There was no restaurants or shopping available close to the hotel.

• Michaela (6/5): Valentines stay - Rooms are getting a bit dated and could do with an overall update. Duvet was a cheaper quality and didn’t have the luxury feel to it. Towels were very small and a little grubby. Dressing gown was also very old with threads hanging off it. Windows were dirty and the room could have been cleaned a bit better.

• Levent (2/5): - If you are dreaming of a quiet sleep, don’t book this hotel. We stayed from Tuesday to Friday and they had loud live music until midnight on Tuesday and Thursday nights for outside guests in the restaurant next to pool. Other things we didn’t like were flies everywhere so that it wasn’t possible for us to have dinner or breakfast outside next to the pool. I don’t think management is doing anything like pest control. We also saw one cockroach in our room. Finally, they provided us with no blankets, instead they give thin summer sheets. With A/C set up to 24C degrees, these sheets were not enough for my wife. Some good things include great pool, friendly staff, location, nice beach club included for hotel guests, food (but overpriced).

• Umit (10/5): Nice personal and hotel - I travelled a lot everywhere in the world and to be honest , I can tell that this hotel was just wonderful either the welcome in this hotel by providing the swimming pool , sauna ...before the check in at 2pm because we arrived at 9am or the personel was just helpful with everything . The breakfast was to tasty and open until 10.30am , that was a good point . The private beach area of this hotel was very quiet and relaxing . A shuttle is available to drop you from your hotel to the beach in 2 min . However the wifi doesn’t work very well in some area of the hotel. If I want to resume this hotel , it’s a very good deal for the price and quality of this beautiful hotel . I will recommend to this hotel for young couple or Family . If I will go again to Didim , I will go for sure to this hotel .
• Kevin (10/5): D-Marin Didim Marina Yacht Club - We had a lovely 4-day stay at the Didim Yacht Club and we really enjoyed ourselves. The service is excellent and the best thing for us was the pool, sun beds and area around the pool. The food, breakfast and lunch we had, was very nice and good value. There were other facilities available, spa and gym, but we did not use them on this occasion. The only disappointing thing for us was our poor experience with the WiFi. We found the connection very poor and had to log on to the system numerous times - the WiFi did not automatically connect and logon even though our phones - iPhone and android - were set up to automatically connect, just as we would at home. When I enquired at reception I was told that ‘the system was different here’. I explained that we were able to connect to bars and restaurants in town and did not have to log on each time, but the response was just the same - this was very disappointing for us as we were trying to keep in touch with our family who were staying in the town. In no way did this spoil our enjoyment, just very disappointing given the excellence of everything else.

• Linda (10/5): Beautiful Didim Yacht Club - The Didim Yacht Club is a beautiful property with all the amenities to have everything you need on property. The property is in very new condition with a large pool and spectacular views. Because there are only 14 rooms, it is very relaxing and quiet! It is the only 5 star property in the area.

• Pol (8/5): Lovely location .... - This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and it is still a lovely hotel in beautiful location with gorgeous views, however it has gone downhill slightly.... Very limited menu if you are staying 2 nights or more. Could not stay a whole week. Previously had sunbeds, strawberry juice on arrival and fruit bowl in executive rooms, but NONE of these this time. We booked 2 nights and were very surprised that were not allowed to be by the pool, as in no available sunbeds. These have to be reserved independently, in spite of the fact we had booked 2 rooms, 1 being the highest price suite. We were allowed 4 sunbeds for the 5 of us in direct sunlight by the gym! Not the pool, however people who come in daily and pay have a higher priority than if you book a room. Strange!! Also, I believed kids had to behave and not use lilos and other floaties. This is now not the case, very noisy with day visitors therefore not so quiet as in previous years.
• John (10/5): Best in Altinkum - D-Marin Yacht Club is a great place to stay with good food and great service. All staff were very helpful and the young ladies serving breakfast and drinks during the day were fantastic. Our only small complaint is the fact that complimentary coffee and water are only left on the first night, leaving you with having to buy coffee, milk and sugar for the room for the remaining 13 nights. Surely for this room price they could at least replenish the coffee tray each day

Rooms large and comfortable with good size balconies. Local supermarket across the car park plus a good bar and a couple of nice restaurants as well as a few retail shops selling clothes and shoes.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely hotel on the marina - Hotel was lovely and clean really nice room and amazing view we had 2 balcony’s (room 14 ) only faults we could find were the WiFi which barely worked . Staff were not helpful with this . Some staff on reception were a little miserable not very welcoming coming in and out of the hotel. Some were nice. Balcony’s would of been nice with loungers on instead of just chairs . Also you can’t walk near the marina to look at the yachts so u can only view from the hotel . Food wasn’t the best menu limited . Although breakfast was good in a beautiful setting.

• Alison (10/5): D-Marin Didim Marina Yacht Club Hotel - Excellent hotel in a beautiful location overlooking the marina. Lovely, spacious, clean bedrooms, good restaurant (with very reasonable prices!) and nice friendly staff. We stayed in December, so just a bit too cool to try the beautiful pool, also overlooking the marina. Still looked fab though. Would definitely recommend! :)
• Wendy Woo (10/5): Lovely Boutique Hotel - Lovely hotel & pool for relaxing & letting the day go by. More for adults I would say as there weren't any kids things around. This is our second stay here & standards haven't dropped. Staff are all very friendly & can't do enough for you. The room is always clean & they are very large compared to others so plenty of room for relaxing either in the room or on the balcony. The only downside for us is that they don't have a kettle in the room to be able to make a cuppa so bring your own! The view is fab overlooking the marina & the beach is a short ride away. It is a bus ride away from the centre or a nice 25min walk. There is a supermarket just across the way for all your needs. The food at the hotel is lovely & always well presented. We would always try to stay here when staying in Didim.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent relaxing hotel on the Marina - From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a drink & then quickly taken to our room which was lovely & large & overlooking the marina & pool. Staff were very helpful & good. The pool area was very peaceful & relaxing with comfy sunbeds. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of either Turkish or a full English. Good gym with lots of equipment including sauna & steam room. Very clean hotel & they seemed to be maintaining it as well by painting etc.

• Verified traveler (6/5): OK for 1 night - Quiet hotel right on the marina, yet hotel looks poorly finished (e.g. rooms are large with large walking closet and shower stall, yet only one small sink for 2 people, cheap and poorly looking parquet floor, room door of light material - noise from and to room gets through easily, cold ambiance) and poor housekeeping (e.g. our room's floor was cleaned with a dirty mop, floor was dirty). Staff at bar and restaurant need training. Area is quiet, away from town, overall OK for our purpose (1 night's stay).
• Jan (8/5): Amazing hotel with disappointing service - This was a beautiful venue, unfortunately, despite only having 14 rooms, we were as anonymous to the staff when we left as when we arrived. Breakfast was confusing, no buffet as advertised, we were offered a menu which was removed when staff realised our breakfast was included in our stay. Waited for ever in an empty restaurant for a drink and failed to catch the attention of 5 staff who stood around! Despite all this, our room was superb, overlooking the marina and the pool, the stay was worth it for the view from the huge balcony. Cleaning was a bit hit or miss, again down to poor staff but all this did not detract too much. Local bus came to the hotel door which was a bonus. Would stay again for the amazing room and lovely pool but don't expect 5 star service! A small thing but the pool was open to non-residents at a daily rate, otherwise it would have been blissfully quiet, as it was , the pool, is huge and coped but I would have preferred the peace.
• Patricia (10/5): A peaceful haven. - We had a wonderful time at this lovely place. It was perfect for our family reunion and the reception staff were very helpful. Service in the restaurant was sometimes difficult because of the language barrier but this did not distract from our stay. We loved it. Many interesting historical sites nearby.
• JP (8/5): Excellent Hotel in fabulous location - A beautiful hotel set on the Marina, by far the nicest hotel in Didim for location. This hotel provides an upmarket appeal at very affordable prices. The fact there are only 14 rooms was a bonus as having a busy lifestyle my family and I enjoy peace and quite. This we envisaged we would get and in the main this was achieved apart from on 3 days when the hotel opened it's doors to day visitors. What actually happens is people booked into other hotels/appts pay a fee to gain access to the Hotel to use ALL the hotels facilities. Whilst I can accept the business element of this what is unpleasant is the noise and behaviour of some visitors. Furthermore, as this is a small hotel the staffing ratio is small and so what tended to happen is at lunch times the staff were too involved in dealing with the 'visitors' to care about the paying guests. I did write an email to the Manager of the hotel regarding this matter but I'm yet to receive a reply. This said, the hotel is immaculate and very stylish and if I was to return to Altinkum/ Didim in the future, this hotel would be my first and obvious choice.
• Carl (10/5): Wonderful relaxing holiday - Both the wife and I had a wonderful 10 days at the D-Marin Yacht Club hotel. The whole experience was very relaxing in a beautiful and traquil place. The facilities gym, swimming pool, massage/steam/sauna rooms were all excellent. The staff couldn't do enough for you and very friendly. We just simply didn't want to come home.
• Christine (10/5): A fabulous holiday in an amazing location!... - We could not fault this hotel in any way, it was absolutely perfect. The hotel staff are very friendly & helpful, our first room was beautiful but had no balcony so they allowed us to change to a room with a balcony the next day. Obviously, this may not have been so easy if the hotel had been fully booked. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, I had the Turkish breakfast most days and my other half had the full English which was also delicious. Evening meals are tasty, reasonably priced and beautifully presented at the hotel. The surrounding area is new and modern with a reasonably good choice of restaurants and bars. My partner loved looking out at the beautiful yachts in the Marina from our balcony. The beach club is also beautifully set up with plenty of sunbeds and cushions, a great place to while away the hours. The exchange rate at the hotel was higher than in the town so definitely change your money up there. For a couple this hotel is a perfect romantic get away, we will definitely be returning next year!...

• carl (4/5): Worst 5 star treatment ever. - Hotel Receptionest was nice but rest of the bar staff and waiters were lazy and just did not make you feel welcome, when you asked for assistance they just did it when ever they felt like it, especially with non Turkish people. Had to get a mini bus to beach. Nowhere nice to walk around and the marina was forbidden. Worst 5star I've stayed in.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - Always visited this Hotel whilst in Turkey but decided to stay a night this year. Hotel, deluxe room and staff all lovely and the fresh fish is excellent. The only concern we had was that their was no coffee in the room (although they provided cream and a coffee maker) and only one bathrobe so we had to share. Breakfast was included and you can basically order what you want and is all waiter service. All in all we had an excellent stay and will definitely be going back.
• Jayogee (10/5): Pool with view! - We visited Didim to see the temple of Apollo, and picked this hotel because of previous reviews. It is a little out of town beside the marina and most suitable for travellers with a car. It was well signed and easy to find. The didim Yacht Club facility, including the hotel, is new, the staff professional and helpful. We had an evening meal as well as breakfast and enjoyed both. The pool area is gorgeous, absolutely perfect for relaxing with beautiful views out to sea and over the nearby marina. Worth it for the pool alone!

• annabel (10/5): Beautiful room by the marina - We always love a marina but Didim and surrounds are superb. Our room was very spacious and beautiful with a lovely view. The pool area big and great and food very nice. The staff were mostly very good especially the nice man who checked us in in the afternoon. When we left in the morning the girls attending to us were a bit dreamy, perhaps sleepy. Would love to stay there again
