• Norman (10/5): - Very beautiful only think the hotel food menu needs more option and needs to be changed everyday or every two days. Food menu was too small for such a beautiful hotel.
• george justin (7/5): Easy choice for me when staying in Beijing as so convenient, clean and efficient. - Convenient location, everything is clean and modern Breakfast buffet is a bit tired. Perhaps reduce the number of items and focus more on quality. For example the fruit section only has the ‘cheap’ fruits like watermelon, dragon fruit. Add things like blueberries to make an impact.

Staff are very helpful and professional. We have been staying with them every time we are in Beijing, one of the best hotels in the city.

The hotel is fantastic and the room we stayed in was WAY beyond comfortable. We are talking 'five star' comfort! Breakfast was great! Western and Chinese and it was lavish!!! The staff were wonderful and they could not do more to help - they were so kind! The location of the hotel is excellent! You are on the banks of the Ba He river and there is so much to see within a few minutes walk. .markets...local stores across the road from the hotel and the hotel is joined to an amazing shopping mall. And it is amazing! Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and really high end stores. Transport connections are also good - walk through the shopping mall and there is a Metro station. It is a great hotel, with superb facilities and everything on their website is honest and true. It is a modern hotel but two minutes walk from the hotel and you are in 'traditional Beijing' - It is great and we would definitely stay there again and happily. Brilliant hotel and brilliant district! Cannot wait to go back and stay there again...plus if the weather is good, you get great views if the city and the mountains beyond it..! Nothing.....The hotel is superb! If we go back to Beijing we would happily stay there again

• Christina (8/5): Stylish and Convenient Airport-Friendly Hotel Next to Shopping Mall in Beijing - I originally booked this hotel as my first night in Beijing just to get by, and ended up rebooking for my last two nights as it is a great location if you have a flight from Beijing International. I was going to stay in an airport hotel, but there is nothing to do outside of those hotels, and you can easily get a 20 min Didi/taxi to the airport from EAST. I arrived at the hotel at 6:00am, and they managed to check me in at about 09:30 when the room was ready. The hotel is next to a huge shopping mall (there is a door straight into the hotel from the mall) so plenty of places to eat and drink and shop. The room itself was comfortable and had an electric shutter which completely blocks out light and allowed me to sleep during the day. The gym has two parts, a main weights and cardio room, and an empty studio for stretching, yoga, whatever you like. The pool is also good-sized and they provided towels, flip-flops, and a locker at the pool. The entite hotel is very stylish with a dark lighting vibe! I had a great stay and will definitely use this as my "airport hotel" in future. I have no complaints.

The paid breakfast selection was maybe the best we've ever had. The location is also very convenient, attached to the mall and the metro station.

• ELONA (10/5): Сюда хочется возвращаться - Со входа можно подумать, что отель новейший, однако в номере есть еле заметные признаки того, что отелю не один год, но выглядит он практически идеально. На столе лежало уведомление о мойке панорамного окна,но к моему приезду они уже сверкали - это непередаваемое удовольствие любоваться прекрасным видом через чистое стекло. Отель эко-френдли, полиэтилен заменен на текстиль. Настолько все продумано до мелочей - даже ноутбук можно подключить к выдвигающемуся монитору телевизора. Розетки европейские. Много кто из персонала неплохо говорит на английском, к заказу практически круглосуточно доступно европейское меню. На завтрак шикарный выбор! Прекрасное обслуживание, персонал готов прийти на помощь по любому вопросу 24/7. в любое время. Гостям отеля доступны велосипеды на безвозмездный основе, рядом красивые прогулочные аллеи у воды , которые светятся ночью. Тут же можно прокатиться. До арт пространства пешком 15 мин. Из отеля переход прямо в торговый центр с кафешками и ресторанами и 3мя этажами брендов, в том числе китайских. Целый этаж посвящен детям. Бассейн с видом на город, немного уставший внешне хамам, но парит хорошо. Стильный отель с ароматом люкса. С удовольствием сюда вернусь! Такого нет. Я привередлива, но здесь все было на высшем уровне.

New, minimalist, chic, and clean aesthetics. Lovely jacuzzi pool available but pump can be stronger and path there made safer rather than a narrow triangle step. Free bikes available for exploration. Spacious studio and gym. Transparent glass door shower doesn't make sense at all for friends or family members staying together. No privacy concerns built into consideration for the different types of people travelling together. Don't prefer the separation of toilet from shower area as well.

The reception staff and concierge were very friendly and professional – the concierge even arranged a great trip to the Great Wall with an English-speaking driver, which made everything so easy. The hotel offers beautiful views from the higher floors, a nice pool and spa, and even a robot that delivers items to your room – our kids absolutely loved that! Best of all, the hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall, so when it rained or got too hot outside, we had food, shops, and entertainment literally inside the hotel. A wonderful and convenient place to stay!

• Caleb (10/5): Exceptional - EAST Beijing is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was huge with floor to ceiling windows looking out on the Beijing sky line. The bathroom was likewise massive, with a large bath and shower. The hotel feels like 5 star , with wonderful staff, but at an unexpectedly reasonable price.
• Baghbanijam (4/5): Disappointing - I don't understand their accounting. I booked this hotel through booking.com. 4 hour before check-in, they charged my credit card. During check-in they again whole room charge + RMB 500 per night. In check-out they reversed deposit but it seems I'll receive first charge and deposit after two weeks. Also they charged for tooth brush, razor,....

• Karlie (9/5): Smart, spacious and helpful foreigner friendly hotel near 798 Art District - Stayed one evening for a very short business trip. The hotel was well located, only a ~7 minute taxi ride from the 798 Art district, ~20 mins from Beijing Capital airport and ~25 mins from the Forbidden City. The hotel was nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and finished to a decent standard, with friendly English-speaking staff. The breakfast was a fair mix of Continental (cheese, cold meats, cereal, breads) and Chinese (congee, noodles, stir-fry) as well as the usual eggs, sausages, fruit etc. The view I had was of the construction site (multi-storey car park? Another building?) but there was no noise disruption. The bed was very comfortable, room size was decent, and all in all satisfied what I needed for a flying visit. Did not use facilities but there was a gym open until 10:30pm for guests. I had also accidentally left behind an item of clothing, and the staff were very efficient in helping to arrange shipping to my next destination (Hong Kong), which was surprisingly very cheap. East Beijing are very foreigner-friendly than many other hotels I have stayed in, and for their level of service, price and location, I would recommend and choose to stay here again. There is no mini-fridge, kettle or safe. I also had an issue with noise in my room (substantial enough that it disturbed sleep) and called reception around midnight, who spoke English. They very quickly sent a Mandarin-only mechanic to check, and revealed a large circuit board/fuse box in one of the panels in-between the front door and cupboard. He pulled a cable out which stopped the loud buzzing but rendered one of the wall sockets useless as it lost electricity. It solved the issue for the evening but I would have requested a room change if I stayed longer.

The sound proofing of the front door was not great. I could hear other guests talking in the hallway, opening and closing their doors and walking. This did disrupt my sleep a few times.
