To arrange pick-up, guests must contact the property 72 hours prior to arrival, using the contact information on the booking confirmation. The front desk is open daily from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM. To make arrangements for check-in please contact the property at least 72 hours before arrival using the information on the booking confirmation. If you are planning to arrive after 7:30 PM please contact the property in advance using the information on the booking confirmation. Guests will receive an email 72 hours before arrival with check-in instructions. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. For any questions, please contact the property using the information on the booking confirmation. Guests arriving at Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) must transfer via regional flight (17-minute trip) to the island of Ambergris Caye, arriving at the San Pedro Air Strip. The resort can arrange regional flights for guests; approximately USD 170 per person, roundtrip, will be charged. Upon arrival at the San Pedro Air Strip, a resort representative will meet guests and send them on the next available shuttle to the resort (surcharge): arrival and departure shuttles leave once per hour. Guests may also choose to take a 25-minute taxi ride (surcharge) from Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) to the dock. Upon arrival in San Pedro, guests should ask water taxi personnel to call the resort for transportation (surcharge) to/from San Pedro.

Unfortunately the beach was un-useable due to sargassum. A nasty sea weed that invades the island during the spring and summer. This was not disclosed. If it had I would not have booked this resort or visited Belize. If I had been made aware I would have tried to book a resort on the west side of the island where sargassum doesn't effect the beaches. This sea weed spoiled the whole vacation. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant when we got there. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered an appetizer. i ordered the calamari. My mouth fell open in shock when my plate arrived with just 4 rings of calamari for about $15.00 american.

I used lemon and eucalyptus Cutter and one a day vitamin with energy and it helped alot. But my daughter and our neighbor were tormented by mosquitoes. There's standing water everywhere. The people were super friendly. Bring LOTS of 1s and 5s for tips.

I am in the middle of my travels and the website states they offer laundry services, when I asked about it they don’t wash undergarments. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and never heard of this. I brought my laundry to town at 7am and had to wait as long as I could. They don’t have a sister resort to use for a. Day pass so I went back to the hotel at 1. It was too hot to be out all day. I had to go back at 4:30, the wind just picked up and was still hot. The front desk listened to my concerns and had the driver pick up my laundry and bring to my room. I was beyond grateful. Otherwise this would have been one star across the board. Getting sunburnt to get laundry at a resort is not ideal. Also, they make you check out a beach towel. Overall, the hotel is too far. The road is bumpy, like bounce out of the cart seat bumpy. You’re in elements, the sun, wind, rain. The staff are above and beyond helpful and the rooms are VERY clean. The beach itself is nice with a light breeze so it’s never too hot at the resort. Very good AC. PROS: clean, staff, light breeze, beach front. Cons: FAR, no snack options really, a restaurant not part of the hotel, don’t wash undergarments. Five stars if it was closer. I wouldn’t stay here again due to location taking away from activities and not being close to a store. Otherwise a great stay, felt safe. Clean.

• Josh (10/5): Quiet Beach Resort - Our stay at X’tan Ha was great. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It has a nice beach and the Mexico Rocks snorkeling site is just offshore. There’s a nice restaurant and bar that’s out on the dock. It is quiet and is a fair way north of San Pedro on a bumpy dirt road, so you’ll need to rent a golf cart to get to most places.

• Alexander (10/5): - Very affordable resort a bit off the beaten path on Ambergris Caye. The staff were extremely helpful, the room was large and well maintained, the beach was cleaned daily. The kitchen was fully equipped for light cooking (no oven, but a 2 burner stove top). They provided a huge cooler of drinking water. The main issue for this resort is location. It is a 40 minute ride on a bumpy dirt road from San Pedro. The only walkable dining option is the very expensive resort restaurant, or cooking in your room. However, for many excursions you can get picked up directly from the resort. We would definitely consider staying here again, especially if they pave the road. Judging from the amount of construction going on in the area, I'm guessing the road will be paved within a couple of years.
• Ted (6/5): - The property itself was nice. The staff was great. The road condition to the resort was pretty bad. The properties around the resort were horribly littered with trash. Along all roads, on beaches everywhere you look is trash trash trash.. like said The resort itself was a good place to stay.

• Douglas Blaikie (10/5): - Great spot away from the bustle of SAN. Pedro. Quite a long drive but lots to do in the area. Tours will pick you up by boat at the dock which is great. The staff are amazing. Super helpful. The bar is right on the dock and Alex is a great bartender. Sheila in the restaurant is great also. Must see nearby, eco museum. And aces wildlife rescue ( Christina)
• Marta (6/5): - It’s very small and very, very far away. Nothing like what the pictures show. It has only one small restaurant with one menu. Very high prices! There is NO entertainment at all and nothing to do there. The 2 small swimming pool have very cold water. No jacuzzi. It’s so far out located with nothing near by. You must go about 45 minutes by golf cart ($80 for 6-8 hour rental) to buy anything you might need. It takes about one hour to get to town. Road is unpaved and in very bad shape.
• lynette (10/5): - This was our second trip back to this property and it was just as amazing this time. The views of the ocean are incredible and the staff top notch. If you want a little piece of tranquil paradise I highly recommend staying here.
• Susan (6/5): - We arrived home today and what we thought were sand fea bites turn out to be bed bug bites. She complained that she thought they were in the bed. The staff was great and took the time to interact with guest. The roads are not the best but if you're looking for a get away. Please check your bed carefully. I had no bites so they are on one side. I would give it a 2nd chance.

A little far from town but plenty of restaurants and bars close and excellent food and drinks on site. If you are looking for a quiet relaxed atmosphere X'tan Ha totally delivers.

Rooms and outdoor furnishings could use a refresh; one dining chair had ripped rattan backing and outdoor furniture was plastic and uncomfortable . Pools were nice and never too crowded. View of the water from room was beautiful. I probably would stay here again, it was a great value for a beachfront resort.

• Debbie (10/5): - We love being outside of town. The property was really lovely and the staff was great. Very safe and quiet. They have their own bar and restaurant right on the water and there are 3 within 2 miles. Just so you know, San Pedro is a small village. There is only one Dirt road north. We love that we were out of town, however, if you want to keep busy The resort is 7 miles up the road and you will need to rent a golf cart at the resort each time you want to go to town. The resort can schedule a few of the excursions straight from our dock. The excursions were great! They also rent bikes for only five dollars. Just be aware that there are many rutsand puddles. We rented bikes to go north up to tranquility beach, Margarita resort and restaurant. That’s 7 miles one way. It is not advisable to use a golf cart or bike at night. The one way taxi to town is $40-50.
• Sutthira (10/5): - This resort was a beautiful respite from the world. Waking up to the beautiful Caribbean every morning was breathtaking. The staff at the resort and restaurant were absolutely fantastic. The only drawback about staying here is the distance to town. You’re 7 miles from San Pedro and driving a golf cart on a road that is mostly dirt with a ton of potholes and when it rains you’re having to navigate HUGE puddles/mud pits. There was a day where the resort had to cut power all day, which was a bummer, but we went on an excursion! Make sure to check out Secret Beach, snorkeling and Caye Caulker!

• Jodie (10/5): - We had a great spring break X’Tan Ha, and recommend it highly. The resort grounds and pools are very nice, and the beach and water was very clear. The restaurant serves good food daily, and it was convenient being on the property. The one downfall would be that you can’t charge the items to your room, so you need to pay every time. A minor inconvenience overall. The servers were always friendly. Just like any Caribbean restaurant and bar, patience is required, so sit back and relax. Eating over the water was amazing, while watching the fish and having the sea breeze and sun, also plenty of shade if needed too. The room was comfortable and clean, for our family of 3. Our daughter stayed in the sofa bed, and the king size bed was comfortable for my wife and I. There’s a little wood rot outside due to salty air, so be careful. The kitchenette and full size refrigerator was nice too. There are some small convenience stores along the way to the resort to get some drinks and snacks, as well as some fruit stands. There are many restaurants on the island. Most are a bit of a distance away, but all had good food overall. The closest was In-D-Wild, and the food was delicious and relatively cheap too with their pricing. The best restaurant we went to was Aji. Don’t skip that one for sure. Others were the Sun Deck, Rum Dog, Truck Stop. All good but Aji stood above them all. Again be patient as most meals were easily an hour-island time. Have fun!

The only complaint, if this even counts, is pool towels were hard to come by. Most often out and we never did figure out the best time to get a clean one! Wifi was very weak and didn’t work a lot of the time. Overall, wonderful resort and we would absolutely stay again.

I’m leaving today, so I don’t know when they’re gonna pick it up. The restaurant that opens at eight opens whenever it wants to. You’re at the mercy of that restaurant because there is zero to eat anywhere. The office has zero to eat, it is very very limited. It’s $100 to go 7 miles into town via the hotel. They do have shuttles every two hours but you get charged for everything here. It’s much more advantageous to stay in town. They’re friendly in town. They are , it is very very limited. First of all the ocean front location is amazing, the staff is nice and friendly, but Alex at the bar goes above and beyond with everything. The rooms are great, the place over all is a tranquil escape from my everyday life. On another hand It is away from San Pedro. You will need a golf car to get there. I will be back for sure
