- Taj (9/5): - Our 2 bedroom suite was great. Loved having the kitchen. The hot breakfast was nice to have. Staff were very friendly. Overall a great place to stay. A child pulled the fire alarm, causing our pet some distress from the loud alarms and necessitating an evacuation from the building. Not ideal, but not the fault of the hotel or staff.
- Greg (7/5): Need to start with updating rooms - Location was good Sidewalks out back were not cleat of snow and ice, under the front canopy built up ice hump to drive over. They need to update furniture in the rooms and clean up rooms , o stopper plunger in bathroom sink
- Molly (8/5): - The location was great. The room was clean. The staff were courteous. The suite worked great for the 4 of us with two bedrooms each having their own bathroom. The price was reasonable. The furniture in the living room/kitchen of the suite was badly worn. There were lightbulbs missing over the kitchen counter and by the bed. We went to the hot tub right after check in and the pool area was a bit messy with used towels and items left behind by other guests. We were the only ones in the pool area at the time.
- mackenziek726 (2/5): Terrible stay - We traveled with three couples and planned to use the pull-out sofa as an additional sleeping space. Unfortunately, when we opened it, we found multiple red stains on the mattress, which was unacceptable from a cleanliness standpoint. When we contacted the front desk to request a replacement or solution, we were told nothing could be done other than offering a refund. After accepting the refund, we were preparing to leave for an event when staff knocked on our door and informed us that we needed to vacate immediately because the refund had been processed. The situation felt rushed and poorly handled, especially given the limited time we had before our event. Additionally, there were no cleaning services or upper management available on a day when there was a large event happening nearby, which made it difficult to address concerns. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, support, and customer service was disappointing, and I would not recommend staying here.

- aesrghuijlabuopfrghn (2/5): DO NOT PrePay even Stay Here!!!! - Do NOT stay here as their business practices are garbage. I stayed for a work trip and the trip was cut short due to circumstances with work. I prepaid and had to check out early. They refused to refund the nights I was unable to use and it cost me over $1,000 out of my pocket. The place is also highly overrated and the rooms at mid rate at very best and the breakfast is sub par.

- Hoosiergran (8/5): Top Notch Staff - First of all, I want to say the staff is first rate! Every staff member we encountered was helpful and happy. We stayed on graduation weekend and the prices were really high, but we wanted a suite where family could visit while we were there. The bed desperately needed the mattress replaced. The side my hubby slept on had a permanent, deep indent where it looked like a very heavy person had slept. The hotel staff graciously offered to give us a different room, but we didn't want to have to pack up and move again. The flatware drawer would not open and close properly. It almost fell out on the floor when I opened it. Staff said that there were going to be renovations coming soon. Overall, the hotel is excellent and in a good area. Nice pool, kiddie pool, and hot tub. Breakfast was excellent! Lots of choices, and the egg options changed daily. Coffee was the first we had on our trip that actually had some flavor (they had a bold option). We would definitely stay here again.

- AARON (10/5): Good stay - Good place. A few things I noticed. One washer/dryer unit wasn't working before I checked in. I was there for a week so I'm not sure if management had a contract to have someone to come during that time to fix the problem. In the fitness room, the TVs on the treadmills did not work to bring up cable. There was a guy trying to get it working with no success :) I really like the room however I noticed to things: - There was a lot of mold under the lip of the toilet. I'm sure other people can possibly catch the flu from being exposed to using the toilet. Happened to me before in the past - The Bathroom plug was already broken when I got the room. I had to buy a bath tub drain stopper from Target so I can actually soak in a bath for the first time in a year.(Most apartment overseas doesn't have a tub) Overrall I would strongly recommend to international people of business to stay in this hotel. Just a few things I noticed that I needed to report to you. Thank you for your time.

We were charged for the wrong room and had to sort it out. Also, our door keeys didnt work and we had to have them rekeyed 3xs in 2 days. But this hotel is very clean and comfortable.

The master bed was definitely a lot firmer then other places we've stayed. I think the two other beds were softer then the one the wife and slept on

- Amanda (8/5): Nice place with awesome Breakfast - Breakfast was Amazing!!! Love the choices. Only downfall was our room key stopped working and after getting a few new keys they still didn’t work. They had to have maintenance get it opened. The kids had wanted to go swimming after breakfast but they couldn’t.
- Shawna (8/5): - We have been staying at this location for years when we visit Grand Forks, and always get a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. The hotel is quiet and in a nice location, the common areas are clean, and the amenities are good. The staff are friendly and helpful, however they say little perks like late check out are reserved only for clients who are reward member holders and book directly with the hotel and not through booking sites such as Expedia. Our room was not ready on time and at first they wouldn’t agree to giving us a late check out in return (for the same amount of time they were late in checking us in) but eventually the manager came out and agreed to give us a 1 hour late check out. The rooms are getting old and tired and in need of some renovations and new furniture. The sofa is really decrepit and really should not be in there.

Room cleaned daily to a good standard and “deep cleaned” once a week. The breakfast selection has a great breadth with both cold and cooked options. Thanks to everyone there!
- TLHZD (10/5): The perfect hotel for our needs! Will be back! :) - The Staybridge was the perfect hotel for us! We stayed in the lovely and spacious 2 bedroom suite - we each had our own bathroom as well! The kitchen area was perfect for preparing babies bottles. Very spacious fridge and freezer area. The air conditioner was rock solid and the breakfast was delicious - many choices. An evening social was served on the evenings we were there as well! Delicious tacos and ravioli. We will definitely be back!

- Aganetha (8/5): - The breakfast was phenomenal. We really liked the fresh fruit and amazing scones. We waited several minutes to check in. No one was at the front desk when we arrived. We got to our room and discovered that the small kitchen garbage was completely full -to the brim! Plus someone left behind a craft/project of some kind in one of the kitchen cupboards. The hot tub was too hot!! We own a hot tub and this tub was so uncomfortable that I couldn't stay in for longer than 5-8 mins at most. I stepped out and my skin was so red! Again - we own a tub so we know this isn't a normal temperature. Otherwise, the hotel bed was super comfortable! We really liked the option to have a soft or firm pillow. Loved the DOVE soap, shampoo, lotion, etc. We will definitely try this hotel again but would encourage them to train the housekeeping staff to check all cupboards and also to adjust the hot tub temperature so that it's not so hot! The hotel and our room was modern, clean and comfortable!

- rowenap423 (10/5): Staybridge Grand Forks - have stayed at Staybridge in may locations and this is the best one. I have read previous reviews but it appears that they have fixed the issues - from personnel to cleanliness North Dakota is a different place to come to and being across the street from a super busy event center makes this location a prime hotel. The staff is great, Music is especially helpful and the cook for social hour is fantastic. The breakfast is always good, even better on weekends with fresh strawberries. The only downside is that the windows don’t open to let air to the pool area and very hot during spring and summer. The other downside is not the hotels fault, but people do not watch their kids in pool area and they trash it. Constantly. Other than that - if you need something- they get it - like propane for grills or extra pillows or suggestions on where to go. The staff is awesome. Just have to say. - if something is wrong - let management know or staff and they will fix it.
- Careen (8/5): - For the amount of money spent on this hotel for one night ($414.14 CDN) I expected it to be a little more upscale. The hallways were very messy with marked walls, the pool area was an absolute disaster and no ventilation, the suite itself, the kitchen floor was all ripped and the refrigerator dented, and the rooms could’ve been a lot cleaner. Not that it was a complete write off, but there could’ve been, much better upkeep on that place for the price you pay.

- Darnelda (7/5): Great location, great set up. Would stay here again if not travelling with disabled parent. - Front desk staff were friendly and caring. The place was super clean. The breakfast was good. The windows opened! There was lots of rolling room for my mom who is in a wheelchair. Doors were wide. Curtains had reachable pulls. Hubby said the hot tub (while large) was by far not the best he's been in. Few jets, jets positioned low. My mom is disabled and we travelled with her. The only problem we had for her was the bed was too high. She is not short, but she was unable to transfer herself from wheelchair to bed without a lot of help and without creating a fall risk. While I loved the hotel, if we're travelling again with a disabled person, I would likely not stay here for that reason.
- Pattie (8/5): It was home away from home. - The staff was by far the nicest that I've ever encountered at any hotel. I also love that we were able to have our Aussiedoodle with us. We felt right at home the entire week we spent there. And as a bonus the hotel hosts mixers for the guests every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evening. They really do go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. I highly recommend. Anything negative that I could think of saying would be far outweighed by all of the wonderful things we did encounter.

Couldn’t check in 45 minutes early with one staff but could check in 20 minutes early with another. Tub was more slippery than usual. It was not an $850 room. Very disappointed. Price gouging at its finest.

- cathy (2/5): Broken hot tub/kids splash pool, poor housekeeping - The outside of the hotel and the main floor are elegant. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast had many options. Unfortunately, the room was dirty. The bedroom was not properly vacuumed and the tv stand dresser was dusty/ dirty. My toddler crawled under the dining table and came out with a used glucometer strip( had blood in it). I went to go warm up milk for my baby in the microwave and it was dirty. We were there 3+ days and housekeeping never came to do "light" housekeeping. We asked at the front desk if we needed to request housekeeping and they," no, as long as you don't put out the sign, they will clean your room". They never did. We went to take our 3 toddlers down to the kids splash pool. The water feature did not work and the water was cold. I went to use the hot tub and it was also broken. We talked to the staff and they stated they didn't know why it was broken and had no idea when it would be fixed. The pool/hot tub is one of main reasons we stay at a hotel. I would not recommend this hotel, I would suggest staying at the Country Inn & Suites or the Holiday Inn Express instead.

- Stefanie (8/5): - It was geared for families; we had a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite and it was perfect for what we needed. They had free continental breakfast each morning with a great variety and a great pool area with a kiddie pool, large pool and hot tub. The pool was flooded on our last day, so we weren't able to enjoy it, but the staff were really attentive and offered the kids free snacks for the inconvenience. The couch wasn't very comfortable, and the cushions kept sinking in, the chairs in the dining lobby area had a lot of wear and tear on them as well but during our stay, they did replace all of them with alternate chairs. Overall, it was a great stay, we will definitely return!!

Excuses were the lack of staff to handle the amount of rooms vacated from the night before. I do understand and they were handling a lot of disgruntled clients due to this. They did do good keeping their cool. The room was good. A little tattered here and there but seemed clean enough especially with those conditions.

- Culture44472426515 (2/5): Terrible Hotel Lazy/Lying Employees and Management - Where do I start with this useless dirty overpriced hotel!!?? Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Everything looked overall dirty (bathroom)(glasses)(floors)(Stains on the walls and mattress) We had a rude awakening at 230am when the room was a sauna and the thermostat had a mind of its own! 89/90 degrees!! We tried to change the temp and nothing would work! We tried calling the front desk multiple times and any other numbers we could in the hotel with no one picking up for 20 minutes! Then went down talked to the front desk person which seemed super slow. He gave us another room but while we were moving our stuff of course the hotel keys weren't working so we were now stuck out of the room! We finally got the cards reset to come into also another dirty rough looking room with used toilet paper? Who knows if someone was in there slightly prior to us? I immediately started throwing up from the heat and the situation we were in. The next day we spoke to Carl which is the manager and said he couldn't comp us anything but we could check out. Now how could we check out when our event we were there for was across the street with all other hotels booked for the weekend! He essentially gave us 2 options leave without doing anything and sleep in the car or stay and deal with the terrible room/workers/management. With no choice we ended up staying knowing our trip was ruined! When the maintenance guy showed up (which is only there on weekends) Admitted in front of us and workers that the thermostat is broken and just blowing hot air and that he didn't even know how to fix it!!!?? How is this safe!? I'm not sure what kind of circus is being ran in this hotel but management/workers are useless and non caring people. What if there was an elderly couple or an infant in the room instead of us!!? The outcome would of been detrimental!! So far we have had no help, no money back and no concern for our wellbeing. Management should be ashamed and retrained or gone. By far the worst hotel experience. We will not stop until this is fixed! STAYAWAY FROM THE STAYBRIDGE!

Chairs in the main dining room were all peeling and left flakes of fake leather all over my clothes. Hot tub wasn't hot.
