Guest Reviews
- nigelf749 (8/5): Excellent staff but a few minor irritations - Some small things irritated like no whitener on the tea tray, balcony chairs uncomfortable, pillows hard and no option for softer. However staff all very friendly and the booms was excellent fun. The waiter Immanuel was tremendous and the driver John the Baptist a real experience. In the club Ashley was good. A tremendous location and plenty of wildlife to see from the balcony
- Voyager35213215156 (10/5): Beautiful experience - It was the best stay ever, the team is friendly, welcoming and not racist. Don’t skip the spa, the gym and socking yourself in salts I’m your room 😅
- Saada (10/5): I don’t even know where to start! Everything from A to Z was amazing! The hospitality, the Staff, the place, the way how - Everything!🤩 location, hospitality, facilities, food, atmosphere, The staff, special Mr.zebulun thanks for his service.
🤩 Even if i try to think about it for a whole day, there’s nothing i didn’t like about it!

- paolo (9/5): - posizione bellissima, camere ampie e molto ben tenute, ottimo servizio e cucina Cena tipica
- htpreyes (10/5): Lovely stay. - We had a lovely 3 day stay at VFSC. The staff was very attentive and helpful, especially Panashe that gave us a warmth welcome when we arrived and through all of our stay. The room was beautiful, and the setting fantastic.
Highly recommended.
- Anita Keet (9/5): Tasteful Luxury - Layout, size of the room, quality of the food, the very capable and friendly staff. Very limited food and drink options for diabetics.
- N6219HDterryn (10/5): Terry - Thumbs up to VFSC, I am definitely coming back. The staff were so helpful. Delicious meal menus. The BOMA Dinner and Drum show was exceptional. I liked how you are part of the entertainment, I can actually play a drum now lol.
- Jesccah (8/5): Relaxing, serene and pleasant stay. - Wonderful location. Gorgeous views. Quiet & secluded. Clean and spacious rooms. Shuttle bus service, minibar and a variety of dining options. Limited menu options at the property restaurant. Sluggish housekeeping on some days.

- karenein (8/5): Wonderful stay!!! - Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff. Private game drive is a must! Black Rhino sighting was unreal and of course the falls were spectacular!
- Karen (9/5): Relaxing, beautiful and with everything you need! - The staff were all really kind and helpful. The room had an excellent view, just by sitting on balcony we could see vultures and other wildlife. Complimentary breakfast and mini bar was excellent and everything was very clean and comfortable. Nothing was a problem for staff, they helped us book taxis and activities with no issues and food was very nice also. We loved everything but were a little confused about the property being advertised as adult only and no children under 12. There were a few families with younger children under 12.
This is definitely not a complaint as it was still very quiet, just an observation.
- wilkes2026 (10/5): ‘the smoke that thunders!’ - Loved our visit to Vic Falls!! Travelling with African friends who organized stay at the Safari Club. Beautiful grounds. Loved the view from the property.
- 928uwed (10/5): What a wonderful Resort - This is a very wonderful Resort. The Welcome was very friendly and helpful. Ashley an Charity organized all things we would like to take part of - thank you very, very much. The look from Terrasse and from the rooms to the waterhole and over the Zambesi-Park is absolutely amazing. We had a Club Suite and the Room was wonderful equipped and very clean! The Restaurant from Breakfast to Dinner served delicious food. We can recommend this resort very much! Thank you for all - you are a wonderful team!
- Danielle (10/5): -
- denise183mph (10/5): Carmichael is the best host! - Over the top luxury, beauty, friendliness & service. Carmichael was a wonderful host helping plan our limited time in Victoria Falls to experience all we wanted. He also took amazing care of us through our stay!
- Miguel (10/5): O melhor hotel para ficar em Victoria Falls - É tudo muito bom Gostámos de tudo
- hursty57 (10/5): Great location, Great Hotel, Great Staff really worth staying her to visit the falls - We stayed 4 nights here and it was a great experience. The rooms are nice and a good size. The balconies are very small and in the club side overlook the wild area but not the watering hole so you don't see many animals only monkeys who come to try and steal food.
The food is my only negative about this hotel it is not as good as similar hotels in this region and prices were quite high but the view from the dining area made up for it.
The location of the restaurants are excellent though overlooking the water hole which was visited by lots of animals everyday. The Vulture feeding experience was good.
We did the falls walking tour which was great, the helicopter over the falls and the zip line at the lookout cafe which were all brilliant but our favourite experience was the microlite flight over the falls from the Zambia side it was amazing and highly recommended.
Overall an amazing break and would highly recommend this hotel.
- 5557RobertSuzanne (10/5): A relaxing stay with expansive views - A wonderful relaxing place to stay which included a delicious breakfast and a restaurant serving excellent meals. A comfortable lounge with expansive views overlooking a watering hole. Sundowners and afternoon tea included. The rooms were large with comfortable beds, airconditioning if needed, mini bar, balcony. The staff were lovely and very helpful with activities available. We relaxed by the pool and enjoyed the refreshing swim. We enjoyed our stay immensely
- DeborahS3302 (10/5): Amazing Place to Stay! - We had a fabulous room in the Club with a view of the watering hole, which we kept checking on. Being able to go on excursions to Victoria Falls, the Zambezi River cruise, and Lookout Cafe directly from the Club was so convenient. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Great food!
- Robert (10/5): A beautiful place to relax - The location was close to a waterhole so could observe the wildlife at any time. A large and comfortable room with a balcony. Relaxing and quiet. Staff were lovely.
- 624rolfw (10/5): Amazing 6 night stay - Just completed our 6 night stay at Victoria Falls Safari club.
From the moment we checked in, till the day we left, the service was top notch.
Many thanks to Ashley, Wonder, Arthur and the rest of the amazing staff for making our stay here top notch.
We especially enjoyed the morning breakfast, afternoon tea and sundowners in the evening.
The views from the club and lodge were fantastic, as were the beautiful and refreshing pools on the property.
Shout out also to Dan the Man with the reliable daily shuttle service.
Thank you again for such an amazing experience. The memories will always stay with us.
Would love to return again in the future. Rolf & Jo
- 726debn (10/5): Lovely hotel with superb service and food. Convenient location for Vic Falls town. - Great hotel with amazing views over the bush to the watering hole. We saw giraffes, zebra, elephants, kudu, vultures from our balcony. Staff are lovely and were so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Gorgeous view from the restaurant.
Concierge Grace was so helpful and can book all the excursions. Easy to get around as 10 minutes in taxi to Vic Falls.
- richardlT7067AA (10/5): Excellent - Excellent service lovely staff loads of Elephants!
Superb hotel

- 342ezrac (10/5): The true meaning of Zimbabwean hospitality - Beautiful location, terrific service, making for a truly unforgettable experience. The whole team was a part of this - Ashley, Wonder, Panache, Letitia, Charity, Ruby, and everyone else were involved in making this such a great stay.
- 441tafadzwam (10/5): Awesome experience - I will definitely come back, so happy with the experience. It was worth every penny and effort and I will let all my friends know.
- Emily (10/5): Really beautiful spot with incredible views towards the upper Zambezi valley and national parks. - Incredible location and views. Exceptional staff and lovely peaceful atmosphere. Really nice touches including free minibar and laundry. Really nice amenities and little gift on departure. Nothing
- J3006PZtonyw (10/5): The bush seclusion but proximity to everything! - Wonderful experience as usual! Highlights are the amazing people and the sense of seclusion. Feels light you are in the bush but actually only ten minutes away from town and the sights!
- carolinehegney (10/5): Lovely stay in Vic Falls - We really enjoyed our stay at the Safari Club. The team were incredibly attentive and friendly during our entire stay, with a special shout-out to Leo who arranged for my husband to watch the Ireland world-cup qualifier match. It was a special memory for him!
The room was spacious, had beautiful views and the lodge itself lovely. The views from the main area provided us with one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen.
Thank you for a wonderful stay!
- 776lisag (10/5): Luxury lodge in great location - We stayed at the Safari Club, where we were treated to a wide range of complementary services and an excellent room. We loved watching wildlife from our balcony and from the club lounge.
The staff were helpful with any request and made it a really special stay.
The hotel is well placed for trips to Victoria Falls and the town, as well as game drives and activities in the national park.
- Koenigsfeld (10/5): Relaxing - Great destination and great service. Nothing.
- lamcc2025 (10/5): Would stay here again - Very attentive and helpful staff, beautiful location, relaxing, great food/drinks. We would definitely stay here again.

5 stars ⭐️ . Really like it!!!
- judycO8096RE (10/5): Wonderful! - Friendly staff, beautiful room and excellent service- we didn’t want to leave. Especially liked the quiet peaceful atmosphere. I would highly recommend!
- glennsE3490ZU (10/5): Vic Falls Never Disappoints - From when you land in VFA you know you're in for an experience, the visa is a walk in the park, there is a smile from Immigration, and as you enter arrivals you feel the vibe. Your experiences are all delivered with care and pride from hotels to activities. Zimbo's just know how to do it.
- ERMTravel (10/5): Wonderful Club Safari lodge - Wonderful service and location located within the wildlife sanctuary. Animals wandering around the lake. In the afternoon they have a vulture feeding and lecture on how important vultures are to both man and animal kingdom.
There trip to Victoria falls was private and with a good guide keeping us out of the crowds.
In the residence section we had a virtually private 15mt pool to swim and excellent dining
- AngieK1130 (10/5): AT&Tours Adventure to Victoria Falls - From the moment we booked our accommodation we experienced hospitality, kindness, awareness of our individual needs, we were graciously serviced by extraordinary individuals during our stay - we were humbled and felt at home. From a wedding anniversary to a birthday celebration - we felt special and could not have asked fro a better time and memorable experience! Thank You!!!
5 Star accommodation and service excellence that exceeded expectation! Well done!
- Malcolm (9/5): If could afford a second time would do again - Breakfast could be improved
- johnfbanks (10/5): Fantastic location and service - Beautiful location providing the most tranquil relaxing experience.
Incredible service overlooking watering holes that are visited by wildlife throughout the day.
The most fantastic gateway to the falls.
5star !!
- Resort26117066708 (10/5): Victoria Falls, spectacular. - VF Safari Club is the ultimate getaway. The property is stunning, the staff professional, pleasant and always above and beyond. We were only there 2 nights but it was magical. We had a sunset cruise night one with cocktails and appetizers including sushi and other delightful bites. The river was beautiful and the sunset beautiful. The next day we did a walking tour of the Falls and all I can say is stunning. In the afternoon we took a helicopter ride over the Falls bd that was just breathtaking. We saw giraffes, hippos, elephants, Nyalas, warthogs and many species of birds from the lodge. Amazing trip I would highly recommend to anyone.
- Dreamer14739424662 (10/5): Epic all round. - Everything about our stay was amazing. From the staff to the adventures was exceptional. We recommend a stay here as well as the activities. The rooms are luxurious. Atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The location is magical. Definitely worth it, for the price and the memories. Staff can't do enough for the guests. Also highly recommended a visit to the Spa.
- Q3006RAstevem (10/5): Safari Club # 1 - Great service! Rooms had a great view overlooking watering hole, lots of wildlife....highlight is the vulture feeding make sure to attend.
Rooms had a cool mosquito netting although it wasn't needed, it provided a nice safari vibe
- krismF8906JQ (10/5): Great Stay Safari Vlub - Excellent room and views of animals at the watering pond on the property. A fab was the smiling and happy guard greeting you as you came and went
- annebR1123WG (10/5): Beautiful visit to VS Safari Lodge - Our last 2 days of our first visit to Africa were spent at the VF Safari Club were the best. The room was beautiful and service excellent
- ZimKapenta (10/5): EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION - Great location, stunning views, friendly helpful staff, quality food and amenities, great views of the water hole, plenty of game.
- anyap577 (10/5): Safari club - Nice facilities, kind staff!! Able to book excursions, food was good! Beds comfy, pool area is pretty. Service was great!
- Climber03268330004 (10/5): Great and interesting experience - Great and interesting lodge, outstanding food, service. and concierge.
The waterfalls are best viewed from the Zimbabwe side on which the hotel is located. Five stars
- 277jenf (10/5): Great experience - Beautiful hotel, has lots of activities, super accessible, very accomodating and friendly staff.
Great place to stay.
- Wander59211685456 (10/5): Perfect stay - We had a marvellous time here. The hotel overlooks a watering hole so plenty of wildlife to see from the comfort of the bar!
Also a daily vulture feeding session which is much more interesting than we expected.
- mitra (10/5): - Great property . A bit expensive . Nice service . Lovely staff
- david (7/5): Overall, we enjoyed it - Most of the staff are great. Great excursions on offer and friendly service Sloppy service at times and a totally unacceptable approach to managing customer’s finances when it comes to booking room upgrades
- Palata (7/5): - Noise in the morning
- Lisa (9/5): An excellent place to relax and unwind. - Took me a moment to remember that there are no TVs in the rooms - great decision. It allows one to relax and be in the moment, to take in the surroundings. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. Anything I needed from in-house to external outings, was effortlessly arranged. Don't forget to visit the spa for a fabulous treatment.
- Burlands (4/5): Over priced and under delivered - The setting is glorious with wonderful views and very peaceful. Rooms are generously sized and comfortable, although a little outdated. The Spa experience was very good and the inclusive breakfast is excellent.
From our Club Room balcony there was direct view in to 6 other room balconies so not as private as expected.
The food (apart from breakfast) is nowhere near as good as it should be for the price, relying on overly large portions rather than quality and taste and overly complicated presentation rather than style. Choice is limited and a menu that rarely seems to change, particularly if staying for some time.
All of the staff were genuinely very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, despite the organisation on the surface appearing efficient and calm, underneath it is disorganised chaos. For one entire evening there was one person dealing with reception and the restaurant. Constant reminders of requests are needed to ensure anything gets actioned. I tried for 2 days to get accurate information on the safaris available but failed miserably. More front of house staff are required to ensure that service reaches a desired and acceptable standard. Furthermore, where are the senior management? They should be visible and interacting with guests on a daily basis. Stayed for 4 days and never saw one until after check out having passed on my disappointment.
Victoria Falls Safari Club is advertised as a premium boutique hotel with prices that align with that description. Relying on reputation and ratings is complacent. There is no point over rating somewhere that needs to change as without listening to and acting on constructive criticism it never will. A disappointing experience that fell way short of our expectations.

- Wilson (10/5): We were sad to leave. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. - Breakfast was delicious and service was fantastic. The setting, overlooking the watering hole, is exquisite. Nothing, we loved everything.
- james (10/5): - Super friendly staff.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - The location overlooking a watercolour in the national park is stunning. Sitting on our balcony we oberved an Impala 10m below us. The feeding of the vultures is a dramatic daily experience. The room is spacious with good shower and bath. Complimentary drinks in the mini bar is a generous touch. Overall a wonderful peaceful spot to stay. All good.
- ManuelaS317 (10/5): Fabulous First Class hotel in a breath-taking and quiet surrounding with the best staff ever! - The Victoria Safari Club is like an oasis, beautifully located and very quiet. The rooms are very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The minibar was filled daily with the guest's preferred drinks :-) The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate the wishes of every single guest and we felt spoilt and so well looked after. The food is delicious and the complimentary Happy Hour drinks and nibbles were a great treat. A complimentary bus is available to go to the Falls and every single staff member - from the bus drivers, cleaning staff, reception and kitchen - gives their absolute best to make it an unforgettable stay. We will certainly come back to the Club and thanks to the entire team!
- simba2025 (10/5): VicfallsSAF - Nice and neat rooms. Service was excellent staff very professional and kind. I only could NOT find an iron when i wanted to prepare for my day.
- Shanley (10/5): - The Victoria Safari Club is like an oasis, beautifully located and very quiet. The rooms are very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. - Satoshi (7/5): Good - Staffs are nice. Booked the suite room, but assigned to the standard room. Eventually resolved after we notified them.
- syamam917207 (6/5): Assigned to the standard room while booking the suite. Staffs were all nice - Booked suite but assigned to the standard room. It was resolved eventually. However it was not pleasant experience. All staffs were nice and attentive.
- Erica (9/5): Superb - I loved the patio to view the wildlife My only complaint is that staff should taste the food and drinks so they can get you an honest opinion.
- SusanBrussels (10/5): Sunsets and the Southern Cross - This hotel is a worthy destination in itself and easily meets Western 5 star standards. Everything is Zen, including the amiable, highly professional staff who go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. All the activities we booked ran smoothly, with timing respected and explanations delivered with patience and grace. The free Vulture Culture experience was impressive. Free shuttle down town. A beautiful suite in the Club section entitles you to complimentary cocktails and nibbles overlooking the sun setting behind the stunning African savanna. When night falls, the balcony offers stargazing beneath the Milky Way, the Southern Cross and shooting stars. Spotlessly clean with a free laundry service in the Club section, there were some thatchers redoing the laundry room roof when we were there. Cheeky monkeys and warthogs wander around the grounds. The food in the hotel's restaurants is appetising and the staff serenade the guests with African harmonies as they eat. Any quibbles? For me, I prefer a softer mattress and the shower needs a hose. Some people also felt there should have been TVs in the rooms, but surely the scenery beats any programme you may wish to watch. Overall probably the best holiday we've had. Top marks.
- nyashae2023 (10/5): Amazing experience. - Had the privilege of staying at the Safari Club. Clean, modern, luxurious, intimate. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food at the restaurant was excellent. Johnblack at lunch was definitely a standout staff member. As an animal lover, I enjoyed looking at the wildlife come to the water hole and encountering them on the grounds. Felt very safe. Boma dinner- the food was a unique experience, especially loved the Bream; the show was sometimes a little too touristy for my taste. Would definitely recommend this establishment. Oh btw, ask for any iron in advance if you need it.
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Staff incredibly friendly, views lovely Food could have been better
- 485reines (10/5): A wonderful property with a great staff! - I brought my mother to this amazing property as part of her 82nd birthday trip to southern Africa. It was everything we'd hoped for and more! The lovely restaurant and lounge area has a perfect view of the watering hole where you might spot a herd of elephants. Everything was absolutely seamless staying here. From airport pickup to our various excursions, we had an amazing time and didn't have to worry about any details. The staff is amazing and the food is fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend this property!
- anneliesnacht (10/5): Fantastic - We came back to the VicFalls after 30 years. We were vere pleasantly surprised by the quality of the VicFalls safari club. Great rooms, excellent food and staff. The feeding and information on the Vultures was an amazing experience.
- Reine (10/5): - The staff is the true treasure of Victoria Falls Safari Club. Always kind and very attentive, you'll find yourself feeling completely at home thanks to their hospitality and kindness. The facilities are excellent and the food is deliciously fresh. There are so many wonderful activities you can book directly through the hotel, you will have everything taken care of!
- lsnkomo (10/5): Tranquil Beauty - A tranquil and luxarious place with friendly staff. The service and hospitality was amazing. The Room and amenities where excellent.
- mander178958 (10/5): Great day - I had a lovely three day stay at Victoria Falls Safari club. The staff was very attentive and helpful, the room was beautiful, and the setting fantastic. Highly recommend recommended.
- Molly (10/5): Exceptional -
- F4624PVemmah (10/5): The best experience in Victoria Falls - Everything about Victoria Falls Safari Club was perfect from the warm welcome, to spacious rooms with amazing rooms facing the National Park to the serenity of the environment the boma dinner was amazing.
- N2660LPmk (10/5): Fabulous relaxing week end - a lovely stay in the falls at an outstanding hotel. Great food and excellent service.
I loved the exclusive long length pool for a morning swim. The vulture feeding was excellent and an added bonus was the vultures congregating on a tree right outside our bedroom balcony.
- Joel (9/5): Had a great stay here. Very comfortable. The service and staff were excellent. - The service was great Not too much option
- christinerD8031MH (10/5): Luxurious stay - The hotel room was lovely, comfortable and spotless! The decor perfect from the pictures on the walls to the four poster bed with netting all around which they prepared every night. The ensuite was spacious and clean as well. The balcony was nice to hang out on and had a lovely view.
We used the free laundry service which was quick and efficient.
The hotel lounge was also very lovely! It was spacious and inviting too. It was open and airy with comfortable seating. They served complimentary high tea and sundowners every day. We felt like VIP’s on an extravagant holiday! This place is well worth the money! I highly recommend it!
- Sophie (8/5): Great but overpriced. - The facilities are nice, located in nature with animals roaming around. No need to go on a game drive. The animals come to you. The rooms are nice but do not with the price. If you stay at the club, I recommend you ask for a room on the right side of reception to have a view. The rooms on the left side don’t.
Note that in the photos it looks like the Club is right next to they water pond where animals come. It is not the case. The main hotel is. You have to walk there to be close to the animals.
The menu offers a small selection of dishes that are same everyday. A many change or wider selection would be great.
Some staff and concierge are very great and go out of their way but others don’t really have the skillset.
- Paige (10/5): - Wonderful, quiet. Lots of much appreciated amenities. Excellent service. Highly recommended.
- Alan (4/5): Disappointing - View Service and quality of the food
- Kathleen (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and it was a beautiful location.
- Catharine (8/5): Exceptional staff in a beautiful place in the world - The staff are all the friendliest, most professional people The quality of food but it’s probably just because of the situation in Zimbabwe
- Mary (10/5): - I highly recommend the safari club, exclusive to club residents only meant less people, pool was great, staff went above and beyond to meet every requirement. Peaceful and has that African feel. Food and service is excellent. Complementary shuttle around town and to the falls is very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.
- Kate (9/5): Great place overall. - Relaxed vibe; ease of booking extras No response to requests for gluten free food for my coeliac condition
- Cory (10/5): A beautiful lodge to spend your time while visiting the spectacular Victoria Falls. - The grounds of the Safari Lodge and Club were breathtaking, nestled at the edge of Zambezi National Park. The Club had a beautiful pool which felt very private. The breakfast, tea time, canapés and dinners were all excellent. The rooms were spacious with a complimentary minibar and laundry included. The only negative was spotty WiFi service in the room, yet this did not detract from the overall experience.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dream00417817846 (6/5): Comfortable Stay - The Lodge is situated in a nice environment, with very friendly and helpful staff. However more attention needs to be given to cleanliness of furniture, utensils, etc. Also there should be more vegetarian options available
- A9930BLdavidg (8/5): Great short visit to Victoria Falls - Friends group two night stay at the ‘Club’ part of Victoria Fall Safari estate. The staff were all excellent, proactive & attentive. Very helpful on reorganising our schedule as we were a day late arriving. Lovely views for the bar & restaurant area.
- violad761 (10/5): 5+ Star Experience - My recent stay at Victoria Falls Safari Club was exceptional. I was warmly received at the airport and driven to the Club where an amazing welcome awaited.
All the staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. They are willing to help as much as they can. I felt at home.
The cherry on top was being introduced to the Waterhole Live Cam on my last night at the club. A herd of elephants had visited the waterhole, and it was amazing being able to watch them from a distance.
When it was time for me to leave, I felt bereft to be leaving such great service.
I would recommend this place to anyone who desires a real 5-star vacation infused with tranquility.
Thank you Victoria Falls Safari Club, I will definitely return for another great experience!
- Marina (8/5): Very good -
- eoakle482481 (10/5): Memorable first time vist, which met most expectations - Service was very good. Location and amenities ideal. Rooms could be a little larger. we liked the views, the restaurants and general ambience., and the fact that laundry was included in the cost. We did not like the high tea offering.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Clean friendly and beautiful location Nothing to complain

Choose the lodge for family friendly accommodations and restaurants; choose Safari Club for a more intimate, quiet experience. Safari Club will renew your soul. The value is amazing with breakfast, afternoon tea and sundowners included with your room. The staff are so gracious, friendly and helpful.
