- Kk (10/5): - Great place to stay! Short walk to cafes and restaurants and a super short walk to the beach! A great base! The kitchen was handy! The staff were helpful!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property is very basic and we were prepared for this, however there were problems with it. The towels were not changed in the 5 days we stayed there (I think this is the same for the towels). The shower only had cold water and the shower head was awful too. The desk staff were friendly and helpful, ordering is a can when needed and arranging transport to/from the airport
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I rally liked location and the people they are very nice Justina she is a great person
- Svetlana (10/5): Fabulous place, Comfortable, Clean, Peaceful - I were arrived to Cancun of Mexico of Puerto Morelos for dental trip. I were very lucky to find Studio Hotel apartment as Eden! And guess what I extended here two more weeks! How comfortable is it! Very well managed, stuff is Great they are responding to all your requests and needs! Rooms is very spacious, cotton nice sheets, about 15 pillows in the slipping area! Is Clean and Fresh! Hot water with good pressure, toilet is flashing good! Beach just crossing one street as 2 minutes away! Kitchen with all supplies as tea pot, plates, big refrigerator and etc., Super market 8 minutes away by walking distance! Front desk people is awesome very responsive and friendly! Towels all the time is available, as kitchen soap as well! I recommend this place to everyone!
- Simone (10/5): Eden was perfect for us. - Eden was a perfect apartment setting. Our apartment was spotless and the customer service was outstanding. We love to cook and the kitchen had all the basic tools we needed. We can not wait to go back.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Well equipped, pleasant and helpful staff. I'd stay here again if I were in puerto morelos
- Larry (10/5): - Excellent stay !
Beautiful reception
Excellent location
Very clean
Very quiet area
Excellent location to beach
- marisa (8/5): Great location, simple but clean - The stay was great, the place was clean and staff was friendly. The only bad part was the water pressure, which is basically nonexistent. But the location is great, and definitely can't beat the price.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved this place! A very spacious, immaculately clean apartment with separate bedroom. The kitchen is very well equipped with comfortable seating. Hotel Eden is in an excellent location only 2 blocks from the beach and a 7 minute walk to the main square & Chedraui shopping market. We enjoyed sitting on the small outside terrace, in the cool late afternoon breeze. The staff are very pleasant and helpful.
- Ethna (10/5): Hotel Eden, Puerto Morelos, Mexico - With the exception of unreliable internet, the Hotel Eden was terrific. Very clean premises, friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Unit was very clean. Water pressure was low in shower, with no hot water in bathroom sink.
Very pleasant staff.
Very adequate for our one-night stay.
- jc (10/5): - shower week other wise it was exselente. like the ktchen. beds comfortable
- Frank (10/5): Great value hotel - Booked this hotel for our last week at PR. Quiet neighbourhood despite the construction across the street. Very clean rooms. Great housekeeping. Front desk extremely helpful even providing us beach chairs.
- Travellette (8/5): - Well equipped apartment. Delightful receptionist. Nice layout to apartment. Air conditioning, television, washroom facilities were all in good working condition.
- Vladimir (8/5): - Good hotel, cleaned, good location, friendly staff! Thank you!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very clean fast check in and good size room with a kitchen with a microwave, stove, blender and refrigerator.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice. Basic but had everything I needed. Bed was a little hard but that's Mexico
- Wilfredo (8/5): - Stayed at this place for 8 days with my wife and two sons, excellent place x the price, good customer service, a pleasure to deal with Justina at front desk, kitchen with all you might need, 3 blocks to beautiful beaches, 10 minutes walk to downtown Morelos, its my third time in this town and we will come come back as soon as possible.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Exactly what they offe for a good price fare
Clean
New bathrooms
- Brian (4/5): Disapointed - I think we were unlucky here the place was ok but we booked thinking it was for holiday stays but there were a least ten of the twenty rooms let out to a gang of workers who were very unruly and made us feel insecure.
- Jayson (10/5): - Was great! Great price. Clean. Full kitchen ready to go! Pots pans. New frig and stove. walk to beach or downtown. Friendly desk. Plenty of parking. Outstanding for the price.
- Deana (8/5): - Good hospitality and clean accommodations. Would be great for an extended stay, with full kitchen and dining area. The beds were fine, good water pressure and hot water. It is a little hard to find at night.
- Jennifer (8/5): - Modest hotel without amenities (pool, restaurant, gym, etc.). Ideal for people looking a for a clean and comfortable place to spend nights after busy/fun/tiresome days in the Riviera Maya (beach, parks, ruins, etc.). There is a fully equipped kitchen, but we opted for nearby restaurants (there are many). Surroundings seemed safe enough for walking. Beach (not the best) is three blacks away. Staff was helpful and friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Some leaks in the roofs
- Elizabeth (10/5): A little shabby but well kept - This is like an old motel and is kept clean and is in a quiet neighborhood, close enough to walk to the square. Not fancy at all, but it has a small kitchen and fridge and a/c in the bedroom. For the price (I think around 50 per night US) you can't complain. Plus, the woman at the desk was very nice. Also, because it is cheap they do not give you drinking water. You need to get it yourself. Also, it's a three block walk to the beach.
- Maria (6/5): Nice time in Puerto Morelos. - The staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing that bothered me was that the lady that made the housekeeping never change the sheets in five days that we were there. I checked every single day and the sheets had the same stain on. Disappointed.
- Jacquelyn M. (8/5): Basic clean rooms with kitchen, quiet - The staff was helpful and accommodating. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the maid service does the dishes! The rooms are very clean and there's air conditioning and ceiling fans. The rooms are pretty basic, there's parking, and it's a quiet area a few blocks from the beach.
- George (8/5): Clean and quiet - We stayed 2 weeks in the hotel. Very clean and convenient one bedroom apartment style accommodation. Safe area in the best neighborhood in the town. Generally speaking the entire town of Puerto Morelos felt absolutely safe. The kitchen could be a bit better equipped, would be mine main recommended improvement. But all in all, we were happy with the accommodation and very friendly staff. I would recommend the hotel to my friends.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great economical hotel - Hotel Eden is spacious and friendly - a good deal.
- Alisa (8/5): A no-frills stay - On the plus side, the location was nice and quiet. It was far enough away from the noisy square but close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room included a large kitchen with refrigerator and coffee maker. The bed was clean and comfortable and there was an air conditioner unit. They provided a huge jug of spring water for our stay.
On the down side, the place is dated and very much showing it's age with rusty doors, peeling paint and other superficial flaws. The water was lukewarm at best and the water pressure wasn't great (we heard that's typical of this area). We had trouble with the toilet (even without flushing toilet paper down, as is recommended all over this region).
- Michael (8/5): Hotel Eden well located and good value - Well located , good value for money with kitchen facility/large unit. Extra amenities such as a safe and hot water in kitchen and bathroom sink would have been appreciated. Hot water is only in the shower. The only outdoor sitting area is right outside the door on narrow walkway to the units. TV is old and limited number of channels. Overall it is satisfactory for the price. It is 2 blocks from the beach.
- JOhn (10/5): Best Hotel Staff at ANY price! - I was a little hesitant about this place, even after we showed up, because, well, it isn't much to look at, at least from the outside. Nonetheless, I was encouraged by the high scores on the hotel websites. Opening the door revealed a spacious efficiency room with two large beds with fresh, brilliant white sheets and covers! The place was super clean, and as mentioned, the staff is just beyond comparison.
We had rented a condo on the beach two blocks away, but then we added more travelers so we needed an overflow spot. It was a perfect choice and the walk to the beach was short and ran along quiet streets with some of the most beautiful private residences in the town!
- Jackie (8/5): - Great older place within 10 minutes walk to the beach, great service, and clean.
- glen (8/5): All good in Mexico - All good, but no hot water.
- Peter (10/5): Quiet and restful - The hotel was simple but very comfortable. The lady running the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. It was an easy walk to the beach and we really enjoyed our stay there.
- JT (8/5): Comfortable and clean, not far from the beach. - Hotel staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. They spend the time required to be sure you get the information you need.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - everithing good, very nice staff, very good position
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet, Comfortable, Clean, and Friendly. - The hotel is a modest one, but don't let the exterior fool you. We had a very pleasant stay in our apartment. The staff was very friendly, kind, and helpful. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are kept spotless by the staff. The location of the hotel is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood.
- Jeff &Elizabeth (10/5): CLEAN near the beach and quit at night - Clean not a problem at all very helpful front desk and house keepers!!!!!!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Needs full renovation - don't go. Disappointing - Started well but recent renovation superficial. Attractive, generous sized apartment with decently stocked kitchen but other facilities desperately need upgrade. Bed firm. Check-in efficient and pleasant and Houstina who lives on site is very involved in her role.
However, shower drain blocked after 3 min so full of water like scungy pool; air-con dripping and not working properly after about 20mins so all my gear got wet; no internet after initial hour or so (with a very limited quota or someone poaching wifi nearer router).
Worse was how the staff handled it. I was accused (amongst other things) of breaking the air-con in thinly veiled attempt to seek compensation; it was not fixed that day as nor was shower which positively unhygienic by time I checked out the next day with dirty water pooled in it. Place was nearly empty and no assistance to sort my wet gear or offer me anything. Initial offer of free night by afternoon staff negated by the reception staff the next day.
I checked out of there as soon as I could after 2 days instead of the up to 4 weeks I was planning!
- steve (10/5): Simple and sparse but very good - Good internet. All necessary kitchen facilities. Clean. Close to beach. About a mile from excellent supermarket. Close to main square and good restaurants. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.
- Steve (10/5): Nothing Fancy but Just to My Liking - (Pros): Good sized rooms (2), clean, sufficient kitchen facilities, close to the beach, good price, good staff. Good internet.
(Cons): Expedia touts drinking water as a room detail, but I was charged. Ancient TV. Low water pressure in the shower, which was sufficient enough to do the job.
Bring your own coffee, dish soap. There is a Super Chedraui market two miles away. Great market with everything you need. Get your water at the market. Much cheaper.
This hotel is apparently affiliated with two other resort-type facilities in the area, so that suggests solidity in delivery of service, and it shows.
- Kathy (8/5): very nice hotel in a good area. - We came from a high-end resort, just wanting to stay a little longer in the lovely beach town of Puerto Morelos. This plain, but pleasant, hotel was just what we needed. It included a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen/sitting room, all scrupulously clean. The kitchen was very adequate, though basic. It was a four block walk from the beautiful beach, and we could walk in to swim and snorkel, no rocks. It is maybe 8 or 9 blocks from the town center, where we shopped for groceries, attended church and enjoyed a lively band concert on Sunday night. The staff was kind and accomodating, even helping us get to the Cancun airport when we left. And it was affordable, even though we were there during "spring break!" We would definitely stay here again.
- jt from georgia (8/5): Affordable hotel not far from beach. - Had a great stay. Clean and friendly staff. Puerto Morelos is a great town.
