• Maja (9/5): Piękny, klimatyczny ośrodek pośród natury z fantastyczną obsługą i świetną infrastrukturą, który mógłby jedynie poprawić - Pobyt w tym obiekcie był fantastyczny i zdecydowanie należał do naszych najlepszych podczas wakacji. Mieliśmy pokój typu queen z tarasem pośród drzew 1 drewniany domek był piękny, klimatyczny i bardzo komfortowy. Cały ośrodek jest duży, ale świetnie zaprojektowany, zadbany i otoczony naturą, co tworzy naprawdę wyjątkową atmosferę. Wszystko było bardzo czyste, a dodatkowym atutem był duży basen z jacuzzi oraz możliwość spędzenia czasu przy bilardzie. Restauracja również zasługuje na pochwałę - jedzenie było bardzo smaczne. Ogromny plus dla obsługi recepcji, szczególnie dla jednej z pań (prawdopodobnie Jocelyn), która była niezwykle serdeczna, pomocna i przekazała nam wiele cennych informacji dotyczących okolicy. Jedynym minusem był praktycznie brak kontaktu ze strony obiektu po dokonaniu rezerwacji. Sama musiałam napisać z pytaniem o organizowane wycieczki, a odpowiedź otrzymałam dopiero po ponad tygodniu. Szkoda również, że obiekt nie posiada strony internetowej lub miejsca z praktycznymi informacjami dotyczącymi transportu i dojazdu, zwłaszcza że można tam dotrzeć nie tylko taksówką, ale również autobusem.

• Katharina (8/5): Sehr schöne Anlage - Die Geräuschkulisse nachts ist überwältigend. Man hört die Tiere im Wald und das Wasserrauschen des Flusses. Von daher ist der Standort der Hotelanlage sehr gut. Freundliches Personal. Die Speisekarte bietet zwar nichts Vegetarisches, aber durchaus gute Gerichte. Bis nach Tena sind es 12 km. Die guten Wanderwege zu den Höhlen, Wasserfällen und der Laguna Azul liegen auf der anderen Seite von Tena. Mit dem Taxi ist es teuer, man muss also früh den Bus nach Tena nehmen. Der braucht etwa 20 Minuten. Die Hotelführung hat von Nachhaltigkeit noch nichts gehört: Die Handtücher werden grundsätzlich jeden Tag gewechselt. Nur wenn man es dem Personal erklärt, kann man das Handtuch behalten. Vermutlich geht der Zimmerservice mit der Sprühdose durch die Zimmer. Moskitonetze wären sympathischer.

• Oliver (10/5): Miles over our expectations. - There is no better place to stay than here. When we arrived in Tena, we realized one of our phones were left on the bus with no way to track it. We were later contacted by someone who demanded ransom. The owners of the hotel took almost 2 days of their time to help us get it back, driving around town to track it down and confronting the thieves. Thanks to them we can continue our trip. On top of this, we got a free upgrade to a bigger room. The lodge is a paradise with amazing nature, clean pool and warm jacuzzi, great food in the restaurant and amazing day-trips arranged by the hotel. A true wow-experience during the whole stay. The rooms are exactly how you want them in the Amazon. Do not miss this place! Easy to get there and back. Regular bus traffic right outside the facilities.

Casi tenemos un accidente ya que un escalón de la escalera que conducía a la habitación, se desprendió y casi nos caemos, afortunadamente no sucedió mayor cosa pero tuvimos una lesión en la muñeca. Nos dieron otra habitación pero esta no estaba limpia. El agua del lavamanos y la ducha de otra de las habitaciones tenía un olor a estancado. No recibimos ninguna cortesía por el tema del escalón, que realmente pudo ser más grave.

• William (5/5): Not recommended - The cabin overlooking the river was great, and one or two of the staff were quite friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the pool is great. This lodge was probably wonderful when new but is now past its sell-by date and in need of some serious improvement. The atmosphere was lacking, not helped by traffic noise from the adjacent road. There was no welcome when we arrived - the guy in reception didn’t even look up from his phone until prompted and seemed disinterested and reluctant to help with our luggage. The breakfast was good but food from the restaurant menu disappointing. Water in the bathroom smelled like raw sewage. Our bedding was stained and the bedside light didn’t work.

• Camila (10/5): Incredibly relaxing, the food was amazing and we were surrounded by nature - Gorgeous layout, all the buildings blend in perfectly with nature. There’s no TVs in the rooms, so it lets you disconnect from technology. The pool and Jacuzzi were super clean, the view is amazing. Sleeping with the sound of the river in the background is the most relaxing experience ever. Location is great, no noise from the city. All you can hear are the birds singing during the day and the crickets at night. Our cabin was very clean but there were a lot of spiderwebs on the ceiling and the window screens were a bit dirty

• Juan Carlos (8/5): mal al principio, bien al final - el desayuno bien, la vista espectacular, las personas muy amables no tenían nuestra reserva confirmada en su plataforma, tuvimos muchos inconveniente al llegar porque no teníamos habitaciones confirmadas, a pesar de haber realizado el checking, la persona encargada trató de ayudarnos y organizarnos en otro hotel, tuvimos que esperar alrededor de 3 horas pero al final si nos pudo ubicar en las habitaciones en el Cotococha donde habíamos realizado nuestra reservación, mientras esperábamos que nos solucione el inconveniente nos brindó jugos y comida para pasar el mal rato, puesto que dentro del grupo estábamos 2 personas de la tercera edad y un niño menor de 1 año, al final pudimos disfrutar de nuestro paseo

Deberían tener políticas claras al respecto e indicarlas a los huéspedes. Permiten que los huéspedes ingresen bebidas alcoholicas y su propia música a todo volumen.

• Wenona (7/5): The lodge itself is very nice and you get what you expect in the photos.it is comfortable and nice and quiet. Staff were - The lodge is really beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and as they appear in the photographs. The swimming pool area was also really nice but we did not get the chance to use the pool as only stayed for one night. Breakfast was also good and plentiful. We messaged the properly on the morning of arrival to enquire about the best way to get there from Tena, as it is far away from the town and quite remote we wanted to be prepared as we were arriving in the evening. We had no response from the property the whole day and decided to get a taxi ourselves. When we arrived no staff were anywhere to be seen and we had to go looking for someone ourselves to check us in. When we eventually found someone they weren’t very welcoming and acted like we were causing an inconvenience which wasn’t great after a long day of travelling.

The pool area was great and there were some other shared spaces like the library which were very beautiful and peaceful places to hang out. I could have definitely stayed longer. Food was fairly good too and prices were reasonable. Some of the linen and towels had small stains on them - not a huge issue for me but might bother others. Also, they offer tours from the lodge and these seemed very overpriced and I’m sure there are huge mark ups. We did a jungle hike organised through the lodge which we really enjoyed (we had a great guide) but the tour itself didn’t seem to match the description/info the lodge provided.
