- Plex (10/5): Our perfect wedding! - Big thanks to Maria en Gyselle for making our weddingweekend more than perfect! We and our guests had the best weekend we could wish for because of the beautiful rooms, the excellent breakfast, the amazing tapas food at our banquet and the relaxed atmosphere. Any request was considered which made our wedding the one we hoped for. We will return!
- blackchina3000 (10/5): Beautiful weekend stay! - This beautiful resort sits at the top of a hill overlooking Palomos. It's actually a converted mansion which has kept many of the original structure and contributes to it's rustic charm. Our room was gorgeous and very spacious with a balcony. Unfortunately, we visited during the off season so the Restaurant was not Open for dinner. But the chef did serve us a wonderful breakfast the next morning. The bar was small but did have a closed glass wine cellar with some impressive bottles available to order. Overall, we were very impressed by the decor as well as the friendly, welcoming service from all staff members. Would love to visit this place in the summer and try the dinner service.
- oliviacj (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful, DELICIOUS food - I stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 nights in early August and we both just wished we could have stayed for longer. It's a 10 minute walk from the beach but we ended up so happy at the hotel that we just stayed by the pool/in the garden anyway. The food at the hotel was fantastic, and the 1 evening we walked to the beach and ate down there we regretted it! The staff were so lovely and very helpful. I could not recommend this place more.
- Y2820AYalessandrac (10/5): A little jewel - I lodged in this hotel for one night during a business trip in Spain. It is a cozy old mansion, restored in a modern and comfortable way. Clean and properly equipped. I arrived late, the air conditioning was on and the rooming freezing, but in a few minutes I was able to get the right temperature by turning to heating (which is not given for granted in many hotels). The personnel is nice and willing to help you. Pay attention to breakfast: I didn't book it and it was not so cheap à la carte.
- Maria (6/5): Poco acogedor - La recepción del hotel es poco acogedora y el recepcionista menos. No nos informaron de servicios del hotel ni nos enseñaron las instalaciones del mismo. La situación no es muy bonita, demasiado cerca de calles y carretera. No me gustó la decoración del hotel ni de la habitación, que además olía a humedad. En general un ambiente un poco extraño.
- jillrobin (10/5): A bit of heaven! - A great place to unwind and rest from hustle and bustle of traveling. The grounds are magnificent, and rooms are decorated with the highest quality materials. The staff was extraordinary, eager to please and attentive. The restaurant features a small but pleasing gourmet menu that was delicious. A must for a wedding location or a time out to relax and pamper.
- 80antonl (10/5): Little Eden - Stayed here for three days with my family during the occation in Spain. The hotel location is great; just 5-7 min from the sea and the views are amaing. It's little cosy, boutique like hotel build in the old castle design. It's very clean and tidy; no question about the service we've recieved. The food in the restaurant is also amazing ! Everyone were very nice and kind to us. I'll definately reccomend staying here if you will decide to visit Plato a'Aro.

- SLVCalgary (10/5): Great Boutique Hotel - We stayed here for two evenings during our trip to Spain. It was wonderful to get out Barcelona and into the countryside by the ocean. The owner and staff are all so helpful, welcoming and accommodating. They went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The food in the restaurant was fabulous, and very reasonably priced. Only a short drive from Girona, which is also worth a visit! I would definitely recommend this special place!

We were made to feel exceedingly welcome, the room was immaculate and spacious, the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was delightful and top class produce. The service was impeccable. This is a hotel run with both efficiency and big heart. Would not hesitate to stay here again. The area is also special, went for dinner in nearby Begun, what a delightful fortified village and outstanding food at Platillos. Thank you Mas Falet.

- Simon (10/5): Great Boutique hotel with gourmet restaurant A+ - What a lovely little boutique hotel this is, situated only 15 mins walk from the seafront with several great fish restaurants. The hotel itself is of a high quality, clean spacious with only a few rooms it is great for that quiet relaxing trip away. The food is a gourmet delight with 7-8 courses for dinner at a concession rate for guests which proves unbeatable value compared to other local restaurants.

Sadly we were only there for one night and it rained. This meant we couldn't eat outside where dining looks wonderful. We both had the tasting menu which we would highly recommend. Excellent chef. The manager chose wined for each course which were both delicious and reasonable. Overall an excellent hotel to which we will return.

- JCTroncoso1957 (8/5): A wonderful stay - Just came back from a lovely trip to Sant Antoni de Calonge. We were invited for a wedding at this nice small city in Costa Brava. The place for the wedding party was at Mas Falet 1682 and we decided (very good choice by the way) to stay and overnight there. even though the party was on Saturday (as usual), we decided to arrive earlier to get advantage of the good weather. Needless to say that the experience was great! Mas Falet 1682 is a little jewel. We had such a good and relaxed time. Everything was so cozy, familiar and quiet that we could stay more. The service in one word: "impeccable", so warm and friendly but overall, as I say, the quietness of the place deserves 10/10 points. All our family enjoyed this place and we do recommend it to anyone that want to relax and feel a bit out of the noise and crowded places. Our little daughter also had fun. Many thanks to all the staff there!

- Verified traveler (8/5): very unique place - This was a very unique and well preserved place. The ground was spectacular. We had too short of a stay for a place like this along Costa Bravo. The name of the town that appeared at the time of reservation was not where it was located at. Our GPS pointed us to the right location on the other side of the hill which was an hour away from where it said to be at. Once we got there, we enjoyed the late night meal the kitchen exclusively prepared for us and our cozy rooms.
- travelbagpacker (2/5): Not worth the visit - Tinny and noisy room. Too expensive for what really is. There was a wedding at the same time and the sound of the party arrived to our room. Booking said ir was and isolated room, but is not true at all. Far away from the beach. We will not come back.
- Nellie_T_1 (10/5): To fall in love with... - I've stayed several times in this hotel by now, and still haven't found any reason to complain about. Breakfast is excellent, service is great, food is fantastic and surroundings just can't get better. It's such a nice neighbourhood and the beach just a walk away. Such a pitty to read a comment from someone saying there is a lack of cleaning... I think that's a lie. Rooms are very clean and never found a hair in the bedsheets. Maybe he/she had bad luck? But to call a place dirty because of that... I think that’s perhaps putting it too strongly. Any way.... The restaurant food is very nice and fresh. No doubt the kitchen is good organised and clean. Price-quality is ok.
- Lilishka (4/5): Lack of cleanliness - We have just arrived here and reception was good, however our suite mattress sheet is full of hair, it's disgusting below the main sheet as well. The surfaces very dusty, very disappointing. The wooden floor is so dirty it looks that it hasn't been mopped in months. It's gritty and with hairs too. Whoever "cleans" here obviously doesn't like their job. I wonder if the kitchen is as "clean"
- 641NathalieD (10/5): Enjoy the Costa Brava and more! - Mas Falet 1682 is close to the beach but at the edge of the coutryside in a very quiet residential neighborhood. The park is beautiful, the building full of charm, the people adorable. They help you with anything you may need. Breakfast is fabulous. The whole experience was really fantastic. And you are close to everything. An hour from Figueras and Cadaques, an hour from Barcelona. You will not regret the trip.
- Tahoe1984 (8/5): Great Base for Costa Brava - We stayed three nights at the centrally located, charming Mas Falet as a base for the Costa Brava. Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, it has very easy access to other Costa Brava highlights such as Tossa del Mar (south) and Pals and Begur (north). The building, garden setting and dining areas are very charming and beautiful, the room is nice and clean (may not be as charming as the exterior areas) and there was a spacious terrace (residential area view). Breakfast was a set menu. Tasty egg dish, fresh orange juice along with meats, breads and jams. Just a 10 minute walk to a great beach area which is full of restaurants and shopping. Lots of easy free parking on site, glistening pool, in-room wi-fi and air conditioning - all which are bonuses for this area.

BUT, do not book room 10! It has an adjoining door to the next room and you can hear talking and the TV through the door..

- YvCo (8/5): Give it a try! - People at Mas Falet are sweet and try their best to please you. The problem is, most of them speak only Spanish which makes it a bit difficult when you don't! Otherwise it's a nice place to go, with a magnificent garden and very comfortable rooms. So, all in all, yes, I'd go there again. So, why don't you try?
