- KI-NRT (4/5): There are probably better options - On the last day of my China business trip, I decided to stay somewhere closer to Pudong Airport rather than be near the city center. Wrong choice. There is nothing terribly objectionable about an otherwise decent business hotel., but compared to some of the other Marriott properties I tried during my trip, this one fell short. For starters, the breakfast spread was very limited. This was not something specific to this particular hotel, mind you - from my experience it does appear that the quality and selections for breakfast at China's hotels have gone downhill post-COVID. In the past, I actually looked forward to a hearty morning meal before starting the long day of meetings. Other shortcomings: only two water bottles in the room, and amenities were lacking compared to other Chinese Marriotts: just mist, cotton swabs, cotton pads, hair band and shower cap. No lotion/cream, no toothbrush, no razer. Make sure to bring your entire repertoire of toiletries if you come here, as they don't offer much for their guests. Next time, I'll be stepping up to the JW Marriott in Pudong for sure.

- Thiyagarajan (9/5): Excellent - Everything about my stay was really good! A special thanks to the receptionist who helped us at 4 AM by speaking to the cab driver — that was a huge help. The receptionist near the gym is always smiling and eager to assist, even with limited English, which is really appreciated. The receptionist by the breakfast area always greets guests with a warm smile, both when entering and leaving. The service team is wonderful: The cleaning crew keeps the rooms absolutely spotless. The sauna and steam room are excellent. The bathroom is well-maintained. The beds are very comfortable. The views are beautiful. The gym is decent and functional. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience! None!

- Sandy_Gates (8/5): Location - Location is good . Nearby there is a nice garden and a stream. Probably the Pudong river. Pubs , bars across the road . Starbucks further down. The reception would be able to speak English but not the other support staff . The bath amenities needs to be collected from the reception as they don’t provide in the room . The executive lounge is good. Have decent choice of drinks and food. But very strict on the timings. Not a minute late is entertained even though you been sitting there for an hour or so. Buffet is ok but not great. Only the usual eggs and noodles choices can be customised . Hotel scores on location only.

- mannyt266 (10/5): Business trip in Shanghai - Very nice hotel with friendly staff and good amenities. Room was comfortable but the AC turns off when I was not in the room (which is fine to save electricity) but it took maybe 2-3 hrs before the room got cool again when I returned. Hotel is in a good walkable location with several restaurants and shops nearby. In room dining was surprisingly quick and food was very good.
