Receptionist was able to provide each of us with a key so we could come and go independantly. Nice outside sitting area on the same floor we were on. That our room was not on the first floor as requested.My friend and I were disappointed with the size of the room in comparison with the cost of the room. Water leaks under shower door - wet/slippery floor.

- Wendy (10/5): Convenient location, quiet comfortable room with all amenities. - As I said in my previous review on my earlier visit, the location is so convenient. Walking distance to the bus interchange and all the major shopping areas in the CBD, the Convention Centre and the Riverside Markets. Quiet, comfortable bed and use of kitchen if one needs it. Nothing this time as I knew exactly where it was located. I mentioned in my previous review that I did find it a bit difficult to find in the dark walking from the bus interchange in the dark.

Quadrangle is fun for group catchups or just chilling. We could hear the people in the next apartment cooking dinner and chatting.

- Desmond (6/5): If your not going to an event at the stadium then there’s no reason to stay here. - Great motel to stay if you’re going to an event at the stadium. Only a 5 minute walk to the stadium, with a couple of cafes & restaurant's in the area. Small, cramped room with an even smaller & cramped bathroom. Had to pay extra to park our car. Not worth the money as there are much better options in Christchurch.

- Wendy (10/5): Convenient location and clean room. - Quiet, conveniently located to the city and the main bus interchange. I could walk everywhere. It was a bit difficult to find on my arrival in the early evening. Better signage would help those walking there from the bus interchange.
- Laura (8/5): Very Welcoming - Sarah at reception was very welcoming and helpful. She even helped with one of our heavy bags-above and beyond! The room was compact but very modern and well equipped. The location was great with lots of food options close by and very walkable to tour the city. Tight quarters if you have lots of luggage.

- ShellB (10/5): Lovely Last Minute Find - Lovely clean room nice outdoor area awesome location great staff easy check in. Very helpful staff. The hotel is lovely nice quiet room. Car parking was hard but there is public parking down the street. Would suggest to book a park when booking. Remember it is center of city. Main entrance is on a little side street which was a bit congested with everyone arriving at the same time. Bathroom drain had a faint odour.

- Emma (10/5): We loved it and will most definitely be back. - Great location! Easy flat walk to centre city, bus stops, etc. cafe right behind and bakery etc across the road. Hotel King Room was compact but had everything you would need! Even a little wardrobe. It was also incredibly clean, very impressive. Lovely friendly staff too, reception and housekeeping. Bathroom sink is a bit small. Maybe a toothbrush/toothpaste holder attached to the wall may help. Room a bit cold at night but the heat pump sorted that
