The warm and genuine welcome from the staff immediately set the tone for the stay. Check-in was smooth and effortless. Bellboy and driver Aam, in particular, stood out — always smiling, helpful, and radiating friendliness. He truly made me feel appreciated and welcome. Room The villa with a private pool exceeded expectations. Spacious and thoughtfully designed, it had upscale touches such as the modern light and air-conditioning control panel. The shower was extraordinary and a highlight in itself. On the downside, the toilet did not work properly during my stay — but these things can happen anywhere. Overall, the villa delivered both comfort and luxury. View The private pool villas offer complete privacy while still granting a wonderful city view with the ocean in the background. While the beach itself isn’t visible due to the hotel’s location, the sight of the ocean and the breathtaking sunsets more than make up for it. I attached pictures to capture just a fraction of the beauty. Restaurant The property offers two restaurants, one for breakfast and one for dinner. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of both Western and Asian dishes. The food is good, though not fancy, and at times I felt the chefs were not entirely familiar with how Western cuisine should taste — but this is easily overlooked. The minibar in the villa is another wonderful touch: a well-stocked fridge with beer, wine, soft drinks, chips, and snacks, all included in the room rate and replenished daily. It’s important to highlight that while the food may not aim for Michelin stars, what truly makes the experience memorable is the people. The service is exceptional: always warm, attentive, and delivered with a genuine smile — something that even many well-known 5-star chains struggle to achieve. Special thanks go to Aam, whose friendliness and dedication are a true asset to the hotel. Let me put it this way: it would be a serious mistake for the management to ever let him go.

I had a problem with my room and went to the front desk to talk about it. The lady at reception was very kind and understanding. I didn’t expect anything more than a friendly chat, but to my surprise, the manager, Oil came to speak with me just 20 minutes later. From the moment we spoke, Oil made me feel heard and respected. She was calm, caring, and professional. She listened carefully, showed real understanding, and took full responsibility for fixing the issue. You could tell she truly cared. Even though it could have been a tricky situation, Oil sorted everything out in under an hour. She completely changed how I was feeling. What started as a complaint turned into one of the best examples of service I’ve ever experienced. I stayed at The Senses Resort and Pool Villas, Patong Phuket, and thanks to Oil, I'm leaving with only good memories. She is a true star and a shining example of what great hospitality should look like, and a role model for all staff and managers. I should have had no concerns. Nanai road in itself has everything you’ll need and cheaper too than at the beach. The hotel staff from the security to the maid services and everyone else you encounter always have a smile on their face. The sea facing rooms are huge and well appointed and the swimming g pool is very big also. I’m a swimmer and loved it. Breakfast is amazing, there’s something for everyone, I’ve never seen so much choice anywhere and the service staff in the restaurant were all engaging, smiling and helpful. One young lady (Milk) from the breakfast service was excellent and a credit to your hotel. I would have given 5 stars but for one annoyance. The lifts have a mind of their own, it seems like a very small criticism but after using them for a week, it does get annoying. All in all, an excellent hotel with excellent staff who all work tirelessly and always with a smile.

Cute bars nearby to have a drink and Four 20 friendly shops as well. We have just returned from another fabulous stay at the senses. We were recognised on arrival by the fabulous Pimpila. Who had our usual room 1218 ready for us. Honestly the staff here can’t do enough for us paerry food and beverage was astounding always on hand with a wonderful smile. AEG was my husband’s favourite as she looked after him at breakfast And made him special oatmeal. Ball made the best smoothies and never stopped what a lovely person to greet you. And pairat on security always there to take us down in the buggy. I have to commend whoever trains these staff as customer service is my forte and I believe no one can train staff to a higher level. All the staff here are remarkable and make you feel valuable and appreciated. I never want to Leave the team make you feel Like family. We will be back again next year and hope all these staff are still there. Making other guests feel at home. Thank you senses team you are the best. - 927shayalk (10/5): Must book when in Phuket!! - The Senses Resort is a must book when staying in Phuket. It was my first time in Thailand and can say I was very happy with the hotel we chose! They have a variety of things available, I did a Thai cooking course with the head chef of the hotel who was so lovely and taught me so much with the dishes. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, far enough away so it was peaceful but a short 10 mins to the middle of the busy streets for more restaurants and shopping. The service from staff was impeccable, all of them are so lovely and sweet. Very accommodating with any request you need. The rooms and hotel is very clean with room service available 24/7. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone travelling to Phuket.

The selections and the quality of the breakfast buffet could be improved but so far so good. The interior building is a bit old but very clean and comfortable, the staff doing very well in cleaning. The Swimming pool is brilliant in condition and size. Love this swimming pool very very much. Had 2 lunches at poolside restaurant, fantastic atmosphere and delicious food. Overall very pleasant experience and would love to come back again.
- Chandangoyal (10/5): Not to be missed in Phuket!! - This is one of the best service oriented resort in Phuket. I stayed here with my wife and 3year old daughter for 3 nights. At the check-in, we were delightfully surprised by upgradation of our room. The drinks by the bar was another exceptional experience. Food is delightful. Hotel buggy service to Patong beach is a convenience not to be missed. All in all, I would love to stay here again..

Service was amazing and prompt from the front desk, to housekeeping, even booking excursions was a breeze and not too over whelming (Pam I believe was her name)! Not once did i feel like anyone was trying to be dishonest or get over. they really care about your experience while in Phuket. We stayed in The Sense Suite on the top floor! What a treat the view was amazing we were able to see great views of Patong and witness both sunrise and sunset from there. All the amenities in the room worked great! (If you're in the jacuzzi tub theres two modes be aware one them you may have to hold the button down a while before it turns off) Everything was very clean! Even when they decorated the room for a birthday surprise they went as far as removing the hair from my brush (talk about over and beyond)! Just a heads up: Being up that high required us to have to take a couple elevators when can annoy some but we didnt mind. Just be cautious when coming in after a lot of partying (it could seem extra long lol) We only stayed 3 nights but i couldve stayed much longer had i know it be this great! Safety: I felt safe be aware of peepers. i didnt see any however what makes me say this is the frost on the windows next to both elevators were peeled off just perfect so someone can view the jucuzzi in both Senses Suite. It didnt bother me but it it is still a safety issue. if whomever sees congrats lol I forgot to mention it to the hotel but i will.

We even used the hotel pool for happy hour and had a great time there too. I can’t believe how kind and helpful all of the staff are! The only recommendation we would have is that they upgrade their menu.

On my birthday, I was waiting for a cab at the hotel lobby when the hotel reception staff came and wished me happy birthday. They brought a cake and the entire team began singing the birthday song. This really warmed my heart. I've been to Patong and several other parts of Thailand the past few years. But never have I received such exceptional service from any other hotels. The staff of The Senses Resort have genuinely provided me an unique experience that I will never forget. From the cleanliness of the room, pool and toilet, to the changing of towels daily and staff that were eager and genuine to help. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The only gripe I had was the fact that the hotel was a little far from the beach and it was difficult to get a grab or bolt at this location. This could probably could be solved with renting a bike for the stay. I sincerely hope to come back again one day. Thank you so much.

- Robert K W (8/5): Phuket getaway - Hotel location acceptable situated on a small hill so rooms have view of the city n skyline below. Room big compared to hotels in Hong Kong but bathroom amenities so so. Hotel operates a shuttle bus per schedule to the beach and the main shopping mall and walking less than 15 min so makes getting around easy. Breakfast is so so more dishes on local food but nice view overlooking the city below. Stay ok for a locally run hotel but a bit pricy when tax added on !
- Halla (8/5): Really nice hotel, not yummy breakfast - The hotel, the room, and the staff were top notch however the mattress was quite hard to sleep on, and breakfast was below standard. The lobby, lifts and the areas connecting the rooms were not air conditioned and really hot. Also, walking back to the hotel is quite hard as it’s up the hill and should have those golf cars handy for residents. The lady at the tour desk was really helpful and friendly.

- Andrew (10/5): - this property is in a nice spot on a mountain with ripper views, and far away from patong to not be flooded by noise. the walk to patong is pretty easy ~15 minutes, there are plenty of good restuarants and the banzaan market an easy walk. the pool is very big and lovely, nice bar with stools in the pool. the staff will drive u down the driveway and there are buses to patong every other hour or so. breakfast is superb, i would recommend this hotel

The toilet always clogged, even we didn’t throw any paper into the toilet already, but still clogged. Breakfast also taste really really bad, all juices are mix so much water, No taste at all, it is just like dish-water. On last day when checking out, we have been told that we lost their tote bag, but we don’t even know they have a tote bag in room since first day we checked in. However after 15 minutes they told us they had found the bag already. Wasted our time. The housekeeping service in this hotel is the worst I have ever ever seen.

- Chris (10/5): Good location, nice hotel - Hotel is located in a very nice area, and tucked away off the main road. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast had plenty of selection. Only thing to watch would be the room you book, I booked a deluxe room, it turned out to be a basement room with a balcony that looked out onto a bush a nothing else, with no elevator access down to it either!! However the staff were very helpful and upgraded me for a small fee. There is also plenty of moped hire places within a 10 walk from the hotel!! I would recommend this hotel!!

At first I used to call the front desk and explain that we are 2 adults, ask them to bring one more, then I got tired from of calling and I bought my own from outside. It’s not a big deal but if I’m paying triple the price compared to other hotels I expect at least a better service. Everything else was ok.

I have read the reviews about this hotel before making the decision, in 1/10 there is a bad comment. I thought it was just a rare case. However, don’t ever think you are the lucky one. I don’t even want to talk about the hospitality of the staff. You will have better choice in phuket.

The view day and night just magic, and a great sized swimming pool with bar and light meals. Found the staff very friendly and helpful, even under pressure. Great service. Rated the breakfast buffet, plenty of choice for all tastes. Fresh fruits, pineapple and water melon. Only point that may worry some would be the steep drive to walk down. But they do have a shuttle that runs to the shopping centre. Will be back to stay again, thanks so much.

During room service, the staff asked if we had gotten the sparkling wine and we say we did not, but yet, it still wasn’t sent to the villa. - Bao Ling (10/5): You will love this place! ❤️ - This is my 2nd time staying at this resort and I enjoyed myself once again! The location is great if you are planning to stay in Patong Beach area. I was given a high level room which means I get to have sea view from my balcony. Lots of fresh air! They have a great pool as well, if you want to just laze in the resort. Breakfast wise, just the basic stuff. If you staying for a few nights, might get a bit bored with the food varieties. But tons of places to eat just outside the resort.

They gave a room with the twin bed, which I requested double and get confirmed via Expedia booking though my booking was made 1 day advance (I know it is very late booking). I requested my double bed room back, however the guy initially told me that you made late booking and they don’t have other room. My initially thought was “how come, you confirmed my booking”. I finally got changed to a right one l. Besides, they gave me the room at lowest floor which does not have escalator. I have to manage my luagge to go up and down for 2 floors myself. The breakfast was same as other reviews. It didn’t looks like a breakfast in 4 stars hotel.

When we originally booked we knew it would be pretty nice but it wasn’t until we got there that our minds were blown! Just entering the space put our faces in awe. First of all you enter into an outdoor setting where you see your private infinity pool. The staff guides you in your room and Shows you around. Everything is modern and beautifully made. The shower is AH-mazing, Took 3-4 showers a day just because it wa so nice. We had a packed fridge with free drinks and fruit as well. This hotel is LITERALLY everything you could ever want....and MORE. Cons: every other hotel in your life will be a disappointment after staying here

I stayed in the 1 bedroom villa which was really nice and would definitely recommend it because it has all the amenities and an infinity pool. There is a very steep hill but you can get a ride to the bottom so walking isn’t necessary.

Really down to earth and genuine people who would try to make sure our stay was pleasant one. Would recommend this place to everyone.

I have to mention Ken who was very helpful and offered great resort credit to use.The other feature is the pool area, which is amazing. It's proximity to fantsea is about 30 mins by car and airport is about 40mins to hour. On the downside we were very disappointed with the quality of the food available. Definitely need to improve. Spa was a big let down as well. Parents took the Thai massage couple promotion and it was really bad and there response was since it's a promotion that's why. The housekeeping was not consistent and had to ask a couple times to remove trash from the room. All in all 3.5 rating.
