• Claudia (10/5): Buena ubicación, limpieza y amabilidad - Muy buena ubicación, cerca de dos estaciones de metro, conbinis y supermercados. El lugar lo lleva una pareja, apenas llegué el señor buscó un carro para que pueda dejar mis cosas y las llevó a mi habitación mientras hacía el proceso de check-in con la señora. La habitación fue ideal para pasar mis últimos días en Tokio, buen tamaño, limpia y cómoda. Contaba con televisión y hervidor, té y café. Junto a la recepción hay un pequeño mueble con papel higiénico, pañuelos, cepillo de diente y otras cosas que se podrían necesitar durante la estadía. Si te gusta caminar, puedes llegar a la Universidad de Tokio, donde se encuentra una estatua del famoso Hachiko junto a su dueño. Los alrededores del Ryokan también son muy bonitos. Cuentan también con un servicio de envío de equipaje al aeropuerto de Narita, eso sí el envío se hace el día anterior al día del vuelo. Si bien no hice uso de este servicio, me pareció genial, sobre todo si se está viajando con harto equipaje.

• Mathieu (9/5): A good Stay - It's a quiet yet bustling street where it is located. The owners speak/understand at a level that it ease conversation. The pillow feathers were poking through the pillow case.

• Catherine (8/5): Clean comfy sold stay in a splendid location - A sweet Japanese style in Taito right near the Yanaka district. Easy access to buses and the subway. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast at Coffee Chi-zu right across the street. We’d stay here again. The bathroom is has a step which can be tricky if one gets up at night 🙂

• Jeffrey (10/5): Spacious and great location - Japanese-style room with lots of shelves so we could unpack and stay organized. Location was perfect, very near Sendagi Station made it easy to get all over Tokyo. Street has lots of interesting restaurants and coffee shops, but is still pretty chill compared to a lot of Tokyo. Owners were friendly and helpful, laundry machines by the front desk worked well and the owner supplies the soap.

• Gerlinde (10/5): Authentisches japanisches Zimmer an der Fußgängerzone von Ueno- Yanaka - Ein schönes japanisches Zimmer mit modernen Einrichtungen wie Doppelverglasung, Sonnenrollo und Insektengitter vor dem mit Blüten geprägten Papanpapierfenster, Fernbedienung für das Deckenlicht. Es gab in der Lobby eine Waage für die Koffr, leider aber keine Mikrowelle.

• Emma (9/5): Yanaka favourite - Our favourite place to stay in tokyo. Love Yanaka area, convenient to Sendagi subway and Nippori station. Comfortable rooms, friendly owners. Only issue was a very loud toilet noise when flushed.

• rdftcy (8/5): - 離地鐵很近，走路一分鐘就有超市和便利商店，房間以東京來說空間算蠻大的。 浴室洗澡的水溫很難調整，吹風機風量比較小一點，長髮注意。 親子客可能要注意，我當初選一大一小也有選擇小孩年齡5歲，booking上面寫的是小孩免費入住(單人床墊)，抵達時老闆娘卻跟我說通常免費的是指小寶寶，這麼大通常是要費用(不確定是不是說一定要加床的意思)，雖然最後沒有多少錢我也沒有加床，但感覺不是很好。

La gentillesse de l'équipe pour proposer machine à laver et remplir le bon pour la livraison des bagages. Les stores pas assez opaque mais pratique pour se lever tôt le matin ;-)

• Eleonora (10/5): Satisfy - We had a very pleasant stay here at the Annex Katsutaro Ryokan. The location is excellent, just 4 minutes from Sendagi Metro and 10 minutes from Nippori Station. The staff were lovely and the size of the room was very good.

• Alberto (9/5): Ryokan muy agradable en una zona de Tokio tranquila y bien comunicada - Los dueños son muy amables y te ayudan en todo lo que puedas necesitar. La ubicación es muy buena: está en un barrio relativamente tranquilo y está bien comunicado a través de la estación de JR de Nippori y de la estación de metro de Sendagi, que permiten llegar a cualquier zona de Tokio con relativa rapidez. La habitación, con tatami y futón, está bien de tamaño para los estándares de Tokio y es bastante agradable. La limpieza es impecable. El estor de la ventana de la habitación no bloquea lo suficiente la entrada de luz, por lo que en cuanto amanece entra bastante luz, aunque esto es habitual en habitaciones de estilo tradicional japonés. El grifo de la bañera tiene mandos independientes para el agua caliente y el agua fría, por lo que es un poco incómodo ajustar la temperatura del agua.

• Jeang Jenq (10/5): - Spacious room with very comfortable futon. The location is close to Nippori train station which makes it very easy to go to other hubs in Tokyo. The region is very quiet and full of gems to explore, like Yanaka Ginza marketplace and the best Gyoza we had at Hanaya.

Can definitely see myself returning here. Also loved the lighting (can control brightness, warmth). No blackout blinds so if you're a light sleeper sensitive to morning light, pack a sleep mask.

I loved the lamp as you can adjust intensity and type of light. The area it's very nice and vivid during the day and transport communication it's good. The treatment from the staff it's more warm than in a regular hotel, more similar to hostel, and you still have the commodities and privacy. I had a problem the day leaving the room and the staff person was very patient and kind to me, I really appreciate that. どうもありがとう While day it's vivid in the neighbourhood, the night it's very quiet if you arrive at night. You can enter the Ryokan at any time but take in a account the last train arriving at the nearby stations.

• Sophie (10/5): - Great location and cute ryokan. The couple is nice but not very talkative. The room was cosy with an individual bathroom and toilets. It is quite expensive so book in advance! Enjoy the pedestrian street with nice shops on Yanaka Ginza just nearby. Also there is a delicious coffee (Cebi ?) nearby, the ryokan will tell you where. Convenient as you can come and go whenever you want with your key card. You also have a Yukata provided. Overall very very good experience. Maybe a little bit of lack of human connection with the couple that runs the ryokan. I feel there are many customers that come one after the other and that they are maybe a little tired ? Seems that it is a lot of work of course to run this beautiful place.
