The property is well maintained, amenities are excellent and the staff are all well trained and very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. - Verified traveler (8/5): - The restaurant and housekeeping staff were incredible and we would return just because of them. The property was stunning, quiet and sophisticated. Unfortunately the reception staff are not trained and not set up to succeed. They never had change, told us to call them to pick us up and then didn’t answer the phone, no one there after 10pm. Room needs an upgrade. Minibar was broken, lighting was so dim, broken bathroom tiles etc. These were minor overall as our stay was a fabulous one. Restaurant and housekeeping staff are five star!

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Die Ruhe außerhalb der stressigen und stinkenden Stadt. 5* Hotel, weit gefehlt, die Preise sind vorhanden (Glas Wein 10.-, Hallo?), hat meines Erachtens nicht mehr als 4Sterne verdient. Die Speisen übersichtlich, das Frühstück mit vielen Schalen in die Größe gezogen, die Auswahl gering, eine kleine Platte Wurst und Käse für das ganze Hotel, nicht mehr als 3Sterne!? Es wurde nach Aufforderung nachgefüllt, dies dauerte. Viel Personal, viel Tumult für nichts und es hapert trotzdem am Ablauf. Abgewohnte, nach kaltem Kamin riechende Zimmer bei Betätigung der Klimaanlage. Ich bin es gewohnt bei der Sterne Kategorie, Obst, Konfekt auf dem Zimmer vorzufinden, Fehlanzeige. Es lagen 2 verstaubte Nespressokapseln und 2 Teebeutel neben einem verkalkten Wasserkocher. Sorry Leute, da muss grundlegend das Mangement aufgeklärt und mal in ein 5 Sterne Haus wohnen, damit sie wissen was der Anspruch ist, ihr seit nicht in St. Tropez etc.
- E (10/5): Peaceful oasis - Beautiful, peaceful quiet hotel set in gardens and with palm trees around pool. Relaxing. Outdoors dining for lunch & small bar, plus indoors bar, restaurant and lounges too. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Great continental breakfast. Evening restaurant costly. Drinks western prices. Spa hamman, massage & facial lovely. Pedicure not good. Spa is western prices. Bedroom spacious and comfortable- ours also had balcony with comfy seats overlooking pool. Helpful, friendly staff. Doubt enough stimulus for family hol: more quiet, pampering feel. Hotel not near anything so have to taxi everywhere. Hotel provides free taxi into town at 10am and 6pm, however it’s to the New town (western shops & restaurants), whereas we always wanted to go to the Old town (Medina, markets, traditional restaurants). You can walk from New to Old town in 25 mins though. Taxi back either pre-arrange with hotel (they charge 150 MAD - currently about £12), or barter yellow cabs down to same price. Beware: yellow cabs always accepted job saying they knew where hotel was but never knew! Many crazy journeys incl one in night rainstorm with no working lights or windscreen wipers. So not for faint hearted!! Hotel will do free pickup from airport if you arrange in advance, with a charge of 30 euros to do the return journey.
- Meaux (10/5): - Great property staff was great very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lacking a little but still ok. Pool could use some love, was a bit dirty and extremely cold (not heated) but still beautiful. I’d recommend this place over and over. Not as far off the beaten patch as some suggest.

- Bentley (8/5): - Great hotel, the only bad thing was that it was not the best location. Taxis had trouble finding it, making it necessary to coordinate pick-up and drop-off with hotel car service. Or, if you spoke French/Arabic you might be able to describe the location, but either way, be sure to have the hotel address and/or phone number on you for the taxi driver.
- Ana maria (2/5): - Es un desastre total; la villa tenia todo roto e inservible; el jacuzzi, la bañera, roto el chill out del jardin, no funcionaba el agua caliente , ni la wifi y el hotel tiene una dejacion absoluta; las lamparas del jardin no funcionan y no se ve nada; en recepcion son un desastre, y asi todo. Seria un palacio precioso si alguien se ocupara de llevarlo y mantenerlo Y un desastre el servicio para ir al centro; un dia esperamos 2 horas a un taxi!!! Es como un motel !!! No vayais; en Marrakech hay hoteles maravillosos como El Selman!!!

Nous n avons'pas eu d eau chaude les 2 premiers jours, puis des voisins indélicats et il a fallu que nous nous fâchions pour que' nos demandes soient prises en compte Et qu on nous propose une autre chambre... c est dommage...
- Jennifer (10/5): Spoilt at the Palais - The Palais was wonderful. Excellent service, comfortable room and a beautiful and peaceful setting. Having been to Marrakech before we purposely wanted to stay outside the medina having been in the think of it before. A very tranquil spot it was just what we wanted and only 15 mins out of town by car (approx £12 each way) which the hotel are happy to arrange. If you want to walk out of your hotel straight into the hurly burly this is not for you but if you want a superb and restful haven a short drive from town then this is hard to beat. One minor gripe - the whirlpool bath in our room didnt work and wasn't mended despite bringing it to the managers attention. Would have been 10 out of 10 had it not been for that!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Wunderschöner Palast inmitten von Gärten - Das Palais Aziza liegt ca. 15 Minuten (mit dem Taxi) außerhalb der Altstadt von Marrakesch. Das Hotel bietet einen eigenen komfortablen Shuttle-Service an (ca. 15 €), so dass man die Medina gut erreichen kann. Das Hotel selbst ist wunderschön - ein bisschen wie 1001 Nacht. Ein schöner großer Pool, umgeben von Palmen und Gärten und sehr aufmerksame Poolboys, die sich um alles kümmern. Wir hatten ein "Pavillion"- Zimmer gebucht, das sehr hübsch eingerichtet war und viel Platz bot. Für unseren Sohn wurde ein Zustellbett aufgestellt, das bequem war und platzmässig kein Problem. Das Frühstücks Buffet war sehr gut und man konnte schön draußen sitzen. Eierspeisen und Getränke wurden gebracht, der Rest war Selbstbedienung. Wir haben auch zweimal mit Hotelrestaurant zu Abend gegessen. Das Essen war Ok, aber nichts besonderes. Da hatten wir uns eher mehr erwartet und haben auch anderswo in Marrakesch deutlich besser gegessen. Das ist aber auch das einzig negative, was ich über das Palais Aziza zu sagen haben. Ich würde das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt dort.
- Jenny (10/5): - We were there for total of 8 days. After 2 days into our trip, we fell in love with the facility. And the staffs reealt go out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. From going out to the Medina, to the restaurants and setting up the fire place at night. For sure, we would come back to the hotel in the future.

- A (8/5): Haven of peace near the city centre - Palais Aziza offers a haven of peace and rest for those who look for a suiet place not too far from the city centre. Very friendly staff, exceptionnal poolmaster, good food. Comfort of the bed was not very good ( very low mattrass ), rooms are up to a refurbishment to my personal feeling.

It’s very relaxing and the staff are amazing from the pool to the restaurant the reception and the concierge.Nothing is too much trouble. If you are looking to be near the Busy Medina and souks .. Then this is not the place for you. If you are happy to be away from the ttown and travel in at your convenience and enjoyed both of what Marrakesh has to offer then I would actually recommend you book. We will return for sure

- MEN (10/5): Nice Hotel - Hotel is definitely a 5 star facility. I had a spacious junior suite. Bed was bit hard but room was luxurious. Property was clean and well maintained (lush landscape). Food at restaurant was very good. Staff was friendly. The only only guidance I could provide future guests is to beware of free airport transfers. After a most pleasant holiday, we were caught off guard and a bit embarrassed when hotel sponsored driver asked us for payment when he dropped us off at airport. He held our luggage hostage and called his boss, who then call hotel. We told hotel we had no local cash left and transfer was listed as free upon request. Hotel said driver can drive you to an ATM. With fear of missing our flight, we gave him 20 GBP bill and he released our luggage. Again, we come back to this hotel as it was a good value.

- Nigel (10/5): Oasis of luxury - Luxurious hotel, small enough for personal touch but with excellent facilities, including extensive spa. Excellent rooms (we had junior suite in main building). Good quality food in pool restaurant. Food in main restaurant was good but to be honest not up to the standard of the leading Marrakech restaurants such as the Dar Es-Salam, Red House, etc.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice - The hotel was nice, checkin was easy, the staff seemed more like miserable servants than individuals that enjoyed their job. The best employee was our waiter. The hotel will assist you with booking tours, but they are over priced, meaning that someone is getting a kickback. We went to the market - not really worth going to. We paid 10 euro for a taxi. Be careful in the market because their are lots of shady folks that offer to walk you through the streets for free, because they just happen to be going that way. We refused any assistance, the individual continued to follow us and then wanted money - we refused to pay and he became very hostile and started grabbing at us and tried to take our backpack. It got very physical. We heard other tourists tell us that they were being intentionally led down winding corridors, with the intent of getting them lost and then being shaken down for money to help them find their way back. The market is filthy and not worth seeing... look at photos on the internet and think of the most foul smell that you can imagine that is the market. After traveling to 48 countries, this was by far the worst.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the free shuttle to the town was great. The receptionists were happy to give advice about where to go and what to do and even book dinners etc. We were given a snack box on the morning of our departure which was very welcome during the long check-in process

- Carey (10/5): A little bit of paradise in Marrakech - We had a brilliant 3 night stay at the Palais Aziza and Spa. The hotel is very beautiful and comfortable and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. We were travelling with a 1 and 2 year old and the hotel catered very well for them (highchair, baby cot, shallow swimming pool as well as peacocks and tortoises!) We has breakfast included and ate at both restaurants and the food was very good. There was plenty of choice to have a different meal on all 3 nights we stayed. The pool area is lovely and the bar/pool man was very helpful and kind - thank you! We took the free transport to the city centre 2 days and enjoyed exploring and easily found a taxi to bring us back to the hotel for a fair price. The small problem we had with the room was sorted as soon as we mentioned it. We would definitely recommend it to friends and hope to go ourselves too.
- Lauren (8/5): Perfect place to relax - The hotel is big enough to feel like you are not isolated but still small enough so that it feels personal and very quiet. The attention to detail was great. All the staff make you feel very welcome. The pool is a little chilly but looks lovely and the perfect place to relax around. The grounds are very quiet but done very nicely with lots of flower and wildlife (watch out for the tortoises and peacock). The women in the spa do a great job. Food is wonderful and just the right portion sizes. Dinner and lunch are expensive so be prepared to pay up but then it is a 5 star hotel so you do expect pricey food. The gym isn't wonderful as most of the equipment is dated and only one treadmill/cross-trainer/bike and weight machine but if you're just looking for a quick holiday work out it does the trick.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent location from which to visit Marrakech - Wonderful hotel in the affluent Palmeraie area about 20 minutes' taxi ride outside Marrakech. Rooms are lovely, but a bit dimly lit, grounds and pool are beautiful and staff superb - friendly, warm, professional and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they often went well beyond what we expected. For us it was the perfect oasis from which to spend time in Marrakech without having to stay in the hustle and heat of the city. The only slight criticism is that the restaurant, which is very good, is very expensive and guests either have to eat there or have the cost of 100 MAD (c£13) each way for the taxi into town. The hotel does run a free shuttle service morning and evening into the city, which was brilliant.

- Bilal (10/5): Marrakech Palais Christmas and New Year - Had a fantastic week at Palais and was looked after well by every member of staff who were attentive to all my needs... Slightly further away from busy old medina than all other chains which is what i had opted for and found a little paradise nestled in a very nice location. Hotel Land Rovers could be used to get to all locations at a slightly higher rate (200 Dirhams) as opposed to the taxis which the reception can arrange for you as well (100 Dirhams) but the company of the driver Adil was thoroughly appreciated with his complimentary detours working like a treat. Consultation with doctor was arranged over phone on mention of my son being slightly unwell and reception staff worked extremely hard to arrange tours for myself on my request. The spa was absolutely magnificent and was availed by both myself and the wife. The food choice though slightly limited is exquisite and the cocktails poolside were amazing. The list of good things is non ending including the hospitality of everyone, new years party where i was invited for complimentary cocktails as had to fly early next morning. All in all the five stars do not do justice to the amazing time spent at the Marrakesh villa. Will see you again soon Palais Aziza.

- Victoria (10/5): Paradise! - I have just returned form the Mosaic Palais Aziza and could not have had a more perfect break. The staff cannot do enough for you and the grounds are just beautiful and so well kept. The whole place was so peaceful and quiet and I often had the pool to myself. The food was exquisite and I have stayed in many 5* resorts. Make sure you have a massage each day to wind down- they have a great choice. The decor of the suites was tasteful and elegant and there were two great UK film channels if you want to fall asleep watching a film. The whole trip was faultless and I can't wait to go back. Also, definitely get the transfer to and from the airport in the hotels own range rovers. Far safer and more comfortable than the usual taxi ride, from what I could see. If you want to be spoilt in the lap of luxury in a peaceful environment, this is the place for you.
- KJ (10/5): Beautiful oasis away from the crazy City. - Couldnt fault this hotel, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, lovely food, pool,room - slight noise from cleaners in morning but this happens all over the world. We stayed for a week and had a great time - found the taxis in and out of town a bit of a nuisance after a week ( would not be an issue for a short break) but at the same time were glad to be returning to peace and quiet after the frenetic Jemma el Fna. Hope to return soon. This was our first time in Morocco.
- raj (10/5): Nice hotel and peaceful - Had a very good time as this was our first time in Marrakech there was lots to do but we went for our both children's birthdays and the hotel had arranged a cake for both of them which was nice and the weather was perfect for us. The hotel is beautiful you want to spend most of your time there,the staff was nice but sometimes fell to understand you.
- danielle (10/5): Relaxing and tranquil - We had a very peaceful and relaxing time. The staff were extremely good and considerate of our needs. The first floor room that we were given, overlooking the amazing pool, was incredibly comfortable and the bed was huge and luxurious. Food at the restaurant was really great though if staying longer than 3 or 4 nights then needs a bit mor variety on the menu or I'd suggest eating out. It suited us fine for our 3 nights.

My only small gripe was the gym was small and "unloved"...
- lance (10/5): Fourth stay at this hotel in the last 2 years... - Superb quiet location with excellent rooms and service. Restaurant food choice is varied with lovely fish dishes. Staff could not be more helpful. Pick up from the airport is free of charge. Recommend the return journey in the hotels range rover!
- ATC (8/5): Good, possibly very good - We stayed here for 5 nights as a couple. We usually stay in hotels of this standard. Overall the hotel is a good hotel with well kept rooms, grounds and communal areas and there is a good breakfast and a good (but limited) supper menu. Bear in mind it is a 100MAD taxi too and from the old city and takes about 20 minutes - drivers often get lost on the way back too so make a note of the route. If you want space and quiet and you are happy with the taxi duration and fares then stay here as it is comfortable and although not absolutely top-notch it is certainly good. There were a few service errors (booked taxi arriving 40 minutes late, another an hour early, overchanging on the bill that the hotel identified and rectified immediately, and a couple other really trivial things). These should not put you off staying here. If you like running the surrounding area is great for it too.

- Twyla (10/5): Perfect honeymoon location - We chose the Mosaic for our honeymoon as it was slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the medina, but close enough to get there when we wished. On arrival, we were greeted with a delicious glass of fresh orange juice and we're escorted to our beautiful room. The hotel amenities are first class and the staff, so incredibly helpful. We can't wait to return soon for more relaxation and indulgence!
- Belinda (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel - This is a small hotel, peacefully tucked away in the Palmeraie. By the end of the first day, most of the staff knew our name. The second morning, room service remembered how we wanted our coffee. After having requested it once, gluten free bread appeared at the table automatically. Breakfast, pool service and especially the lunch restaurant where all of a good quality, with lunch with its barbecue and salads particularly recommended. The only negative would be dinner. As is often the case with small hotels, after some guests have gone out to restaurants, there is not much of a crowd left to eat at the hotel. Dinner was perfectly adequate, but nothing more and not good value for money. However, there are plenty of good restaurants a 15-minute drive away in Marrakech. Taxis can be ordered at relatively short notice. This is a great hotel for a quiet, peaceful holiday. Highly recommended.

Only let down was the constant Smell of drains from toilet in room which we understood affected all rooms as scented candle was the only remedy provided and as soon as it ran out the smell returned so kept having to ask for new one.

- MZ (8/5): nice relaxing stay in the "close" end of Palmerie - we really enjoyed the stay - the 2 pools were v nice (although the bigger one was closed for cleaning the first 2 days), the location is good in the "close" (to medina) end of Palmerie. (it costs 60-80 dirham if you take a taxi from medina to the hotel, 100 dirham if you take one from the hotel to medina) - and it takes 20-30 mins depending on the traffic. It was well worth to go into medina for dinner (as food is quite expensive and not very interesting / special in the hotel). good breakfast buffet with many (not only sweet) choices - which isnt very common there as i understand - in our other hotel in marrakech medina the breakfast was sweet only. the room was nice, well appointed, lots of storage space. exit to a small private garden (4x4m) with seats. they had 2 turn down services each day, everything was very clean and nicely arranged - really good effort by the housekeeping staff. all in all, a very good, relaing experience
- Squirt50 (10/5): A Beautiful Oasis - I have had the good fortune of travelling throughout the world, and this is my favorite of all the hotels I have ever stayed in. The pool, grounds, lobby, and restaurant are simply beautiful. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. For example, they made repeated calls for me to help me locate my lost luggage and they made a beautiful birthday cake for my friend. Although it took me 16 hours to travel to Marrakech, it would be worth it to return and stay at this hotel again. It was simply the best!
- William (10/5): Excellent hotel for relaxing - My wife and I stayed for 10 nights in June/July. Beautiful hotel and grounds and very peaceful yet only 15 minutes drive from the centre of Marrakech. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. There is only one restaurant open in the evening - so choice after a few days is slightly limited. Another outdoor restaurant is open for lunch, and perhaps it would have been good had this one been also open in the evening. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will definitely be going back.

- Glenn & Prue (8/5): Beautiful if you do not want to leave the Hotel! - The Mosaic Palais Aziza & Spa Hotel was very beautiful and immaculately maintained, with lovely service by most of the hotel workers. HOWEVER, the location of the hotel places it in a very remote area of Marrakech and it is a good TWO miles to the nearest main road! So if you like to be 'locked up' in your hotel and not wanting to go anywhere, it is a perfect spot. They only have the shuttle bus running twice a day, 10am and 5pm. They should have it running at least 6-8 times a day. They only take you to the 'New Town', however all the action is in the Main Square (Old Town) and the only way to get there is by taxi. Lovely hotel but too remote from all the action!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Oasis from the hectic Medina - Luxurious hotel with friendly, attentive staff. The facilities are well appointed, beautifully designed, and tranquil. Approximately 10 minute drive from the Medina, so you're close to the action but don't have to deal with its frenetic pace, noise, and fumes if opting for a quiet day of pool and spa. On site restaurant is a good option if you don't have dinner reservations, however some of the dishes are a bit hit or miss. Spa services are wonderful.

- Basil (10/5): Great for relaxing - We just returned from a short break in Marrakech where for the first time I have felt a hotel deserving of a review. Approximately 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, stands the Mosaic Palais Aziza, a stunningly designed hotel with beautiful rooms, luxurious suites and villa's. But this is not where it ends, beyond this was the professional service of the staff, particularly at the restaurant, who went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable. If you are looking for some peace and pampering I cannot recommend this little gem highly enough.
