- Inge (4/5): Glöm att boka här. - Inte mycket stämmer med er beskrivning. Fick ett rum med pumphus bredvid. Väsnades hela natten. Rummet hade toa/dusch på utsidan. Dörren gick ej att låsa så¨man fick släpa på allt av värde. Hur kan ni skriva att det finn i rummet? Fick byta till ett annat rum dagen efter. Skall kräva återbetalning. WI-FI fungerar endast i reseptionen ibland. Funkade 4 av 7 dagar. Husen är i bedrövligt skick och har stora springor mellan bambun. Det blåser rätt igenom huset och du hör när grannarna besöker toaletten. Kontakterna för el gick inte att använda för att ladda telefonen pga glaapp. Ägarna var trevliga, men det var det enda. Sämsta jag bott på.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Romantisk ophold væk fra strandene - Perfekt sted, hvis stranden var tættere på. Der er langt at gå til øens bedste strand. Det kræver en scooter, som dog kan lejes på hotellet meget billigt. Øen er god til at cykle på og man kan benytte scootere sikkert og nemt. Folk kører pænt og langsomt, så alle kan være trygge. Pas dog på huller i vejen. Cykler og scooter kan lejes billigt over hele øen. Nogle strande har sandfluer, som bider. Køb kokosolie på øen, det holder fluerne væk. Et hotel som hovedsaglig danskere og italienere benytter. Over 50% af gæsterne var danske, da vi besøgte det i julen 2014. Vandkoger er ikke tilgængelig på hotellet til kaffe eller the, så kaffe og the kan kun nydes i åbningstiden (fra 8-22) til hotellets priser. Ingen køleskab på værelset. I den periode, hvor vi besøgte Koh Mak blæste det op fra kl.20 om aften til 8 om morgen. Det betød at kun få af øens strande kunne benyttes. De andre var umulige at bade fra grundet voldsomme bølger og understrømme. Det kan i denne periode af samme årsag præge tilgange til øen. Vi måtte skifte fra speedbåd til den langsommere træbåd midt på havet, da bølgerne omkring Koh Mak gjorde det umuligt for speedbåden at lægge til kaj ved øen. Vi fik oplyst at disse vejrforhold var en årlig begivenhed, som oftest varer 3 dage.Da vi besøgte øen varede de vejrforhold 9 dage, hvilket ikke var normalt. En ø, som er god til 2 overnatninger og så har man også set alt på øen.
- anders (10/5): vänligt paradisställe - Väldigt trevligt par som driver hotellet, det kändes som att komma hem till en liten italiensk familj. Bra mat, både thai och italiensk. Ligger lite avsides dock men om man hyr små moppar så tar man sig till nya mysiga stränder varje dag som paret gärna berättar om.
- mr g (6/5): It is what it is - The owners are nice couple but the huts are not to good very basic no TV or kettle in the rooms and made of bamboo the entrance to the resort is a dirt road needs attention the food is nice if you like Italian but they do Thai to which was nice on the 2nd night inside the hut we found a scorpion and a huge spider it did look like a black widow we informed the owner and he removed the spider and I killed the scorpion we was there 3 days and did not get chance go in the pool because a group of Chinese guests took all the beds overall I don't think I could stay there again only because the scorpion in the hut but it's a quite and relaxing place to stay
- Verified traveler (6/5): Exklusivt italienskt i mycket lugnt område - Bra för dig som vill ha lugn och ro då det ligger ganska off och en bit ifrån stranden. Jag hyrde cykel vilket fungerade fint som transportmedel till och från strand. Ägarna serverar gärna sin italienska kost, men jag beställde bara thai. Relativt kostsam meny. Frukost är ok, ingen buffe.
- Victor (10/5): Accueiillant!! - Couple de propriétaire charmant et accueillant, les repas étaient délicieux, service impeccable. Les petites cabanes de bambou sont rudimentaires mais confortables. Les motos à disposition sont très utiles et on est libre de découvrir l'ile à notre façon. Bref belle expérience!
- Karen (10/5): Excellent, quiet and exclusive - I stayed at the Bamboo Hideaway Resort and cannot rate it highly enough. Each individual bungalow is situated to give you privacy. They are kept spotlessly clean and are very spacious. The owners Francesca and Maximo are a delightful couple and make you feel extremely welcome, nothing is too much trouble. There is also a reasonable price restaurant serving delicious Italian and a Thai food.
- Niels D (8/5): Great atmosphere - Staying at Bamboo Hideaway is for those who want a piece and quiet away from the beaten tourist path. The Italian hosts make sure that you feel at "home" and they are great at taking you to a beach of your choice on the Island - nice since the "resort" itself lies away from the nice beaches of the island. A great place for a family with kids - the italian menu and the pool makes a nice alternative if you are tired of rice and touristy beaches and need an alternative for a shorter period. Our kids loved the bamboo hut since it was totally different from the other places we stayed in Thailand.
- Roger B (8/5): Friendly quiet location. - Relaxing and friendly staff. Massimo and Francesca were very helpful in providing what we required. Motorbike for hire which was necessary for independent exploration of the island as location far from town.

- (^-^)/ (8/5): 隠れ家としては最適かもね！ - マーク島は絵はがきのような美しい海岸がたくさんある島ですが、この宿は残念ながら海岸沿いにはありません。送迎もありません。でも、高台にあり、この宿からの風景もまた美しい。歩いて行ける範囲に泳げる海岸が無いのが難点ですが、何もせず、プライベートを大切にしたい方には最適な隠れ家となると思います。
