- jessica (8/5): - I liked the price (affordable), staff (very kind I arrived 3 am and instead of giving my the shared room which I booked they gave me a single room so I did not disturb the other guests), close to public transport to the city centre I did not like the breakfast. 1 option of yogurt: strawberry, croissant taste like those you are given in the hospital, coffe machine quite basic, 1-2 cereals option do not remember.
- Laara (4/5): - Accommodations in Barcelona are very expensive and I needed a room overnight, close to the airport. The cab driver out of the airport had not heard of this place. The room had four narrow bunk beds, definitely not suitable for an elderly person. AC was not functioning properly, no wifi instructions, the door to the balcony did not close, only one electrical outlet in the room and poor lighting. The walls were scuffed and in desperate need of paint. Bathroom , bare bones, no soap. In closing, buyer be aware, you get what you pay for….room maybe suitable to a much younger crowd!

My wife and I (adults in our 50s) googled “nice hotels near Barcelona Airport.” This was the first “hotel” Google gave us. The online booking looked like a hotel on par with Hilton or Marriott, however this place was the definition of “minimalist!” The interior looked like what a prison would look, and the rooms had one towel, no soap or shampoo. Barely enough toilet paper. Steel sink looked like one would expect to have in a prison cell! And, finally the price of €142 would be laughable had the experience not sucked as much as it did! Avoid this place and stick with established chain hotels!

- Mike (2/5): - Worst night I’ve ever spent laying awake waiting for morning. After a long day and a late fight this was a horrible place to spent a night. The pictures on this website painted a waaasyyy to rosie of a picture of this dump. Air conditioning did not function as after waiting the 5 minutes as instructed and the room very warm. My repeated calls to the front desk went unanswered. I gave up and resorted to opening patio door after waiting promised five minute wait for air; only to be invaded by bugs. Decided to bare the heat and literally sweat through showering. I booked a room for two, with a bed and got two sets of bunk beds, I felt like I’d been drafted. Having spent from midnight until 5 am in this room, without sleep, it was an expensive place to take a lousy shower then lay sweating while waiting for morning. I will likely never trust Expedia again.

Economic option for 10 minute cab ride to T1 airrport but still costs 30 Euros. Were some noisy neighbours but was fine for a place to sleep for one night for early flight out the next day.

Lights would trip frequently - not very helpful when you have kids along. Asked for an iron was told that's it's stolen and don't have one!! Housekeeping were helpful though although language was a barrier
- Shelley (10/5): - I got a single room at this hostel. It was large, the bathroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, including croissants, sandwich meat, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Metro, but it is really hard to push a wheeled suitcase, as the sidewalks have small square patterns embedded in them. This is a problem in many Barcelona neighbourhoods, and is not a reflection of the hostel (just a warning about the walk there). The hostel uses recycled water in the toilets and showers, but the tap water is potable.
- Chris (10/5): - I rented a Superior Single room for one night. Walked from Parc Nou station, easy to find. The property has the feel of a university dorm. Clean, safe, dinner and breakfast options were simple, affordable and tasty. I would stay here again.
- Paul (10/5): Would stay again - Although this is a hostel type accommodation, we found it brilliant. Staff were great and very helpful. Room had 4 single bunk beds in it and bathroom was very spacious. Breakfast was self service plentiful. Places to eat within a short(ish) walk. Was about 6 miles outside Barcelona and one of the routes to the hotel was blocked by roadworks which caused us satnav issues but that wasn't the hotels fault. Only dislike was the state of the free car park. It was covered in sand with big ruts in it. We had torrential rain during the night and came down to our bikes covered in sand where the rain had bounced off the ground. On balance we would still stay there again.

A bit pricey for all bunker beds rooms but it does the job for short stays. Keep up the environmental effort !

The negatives: Very inconvenient to get too from the airport. Added about an hour + train ticket costs per person. The building entrance is also hard to find. Also if you book a single, you’re likely to get put in a quad with bunks…just for you. Also, some reviews said that there was no air conditioning, but there is. You can’t control it, but it was a pleasant surprise in the summer. Breakfast is bare bones.

- Daniel (4/5): Poor Air Conditioner or No Air Conditioner at all. - Air conditioning is set to 23 Celsius and cannot be lowered, it’s hard to tell if the AC fan speed works or not. Upon arrival my room felt like a sauna even though it is set to 23c, I complained to the front desk and was told if there’s no one in the room, the AC is set to be off, therefore, it takes hours to get the temp to a pleasant level. The temp inside the room was hotter than the temp outside of the building and yards, I was told by the front desk staff that they believed that the room feels like a sauna. If management is aware of this, I do not understand how they would not fix the settings so the temp and fan of the AC unit can be adjusted accordingly to the guests taste.

- EMMA (2/5): - From the moment we arrived at approximately 10:30 p.m., the experience was unacceptable. The hotel had an overwhelming unpleasant smell, and your front desk staff showed little urgency or concern in helping us, despite the late hour. The room we were given was entirely misrepresented compared to what was advertised online. It was in extremely poor and unsanitary condition: There were dirty stains all over the bathroom, making it unusable. Blood was found on the floor, which is absolutely unacceptable and a serious health concern. We had to keep our shoes on throughout the stay due to how dirty the room was. More alarmingly, as a group of female guests, we felt completely unsafe. We heard someone rattling the balcony door, and were forced to move a bed in front of it for security. Throughout the night, we experienced multiple attempts of individuals knocking on and trying to open our room door. We were frightened and felt completely exposed and vulnerable. This experience was unsanitary, unsafe, and completely misrepresented by your hotel's online description.

Breakfast included. Olive oil is the bomb. Had to move rooms because the AC did not work. Private room 6 bunkbeds private restroom and shower. Shower water floods but drys but looks like a leak. Comes with pillow, thin sheet and one towel no hand towels. super marcado for body soap 2.35 shampoo 2,45 drinks beer and chips 1,50. From hostel just through the alley. Freenow app for taxi there $25 return $28 fixed price. Fell asleep and almost missed dinner at 10pm. Breeze seems better than gigzby for wifi reception and calling. Able to use google maps navigation and call through whats app and text through apple. Meals at hostel are nothing special. Breakfast 8-10 not in cafe, Lunch starts at 130pm, dinner 8pm. Checkout 11 then doing laundry $4 euro washer $1 euro dryer. We had a big load so i needed 5 for dryer. Taking taxi to and from hostel cost us around $123.

- Melissa (8/5): - Finding the front door was a bit of a challenge. Check in was good(don't forget your passports). Parking was around the back (unpaved). Rooms were exactly like the photo's. Patio door on room didn't appear to lock. Loved getting our picnic bags at 3:30am for breakfast on check out. There was a group of young kids in the hostel on the same floor as us when we checked it, they were quite loud. Ear plugs helped allow us to get to sleep. Although they did settle around 9pm. The shower could be a little cleaner, all the floors are tile so walking around in bare feet wasn't comfortable. Loved the focus on the UN sustainable goals and it was super convenient for a quick arrival for early morning flight. Overall I would go back. One broken tile on the 1st floor was loud when people walked over it.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - This is more a community center than a youth hostel. If you are looking for a very cheap place near the airport : go but don't go if you are looking for cleanliness or comfort. This is a place to crash for a night on a low budget.

- Harvey (2/5): - My wife and I had a 10 hour layover in Barcelona between flights. We booked a "twin room" expecting 2 single or twin beds. When we got to our room we discovered 2 sets of bunk beds with a wall between them. When I returned to reception I was told that this was our room, costing $180, or I could pay an additional 90 euros for a room with 2 beds. The room itself was more like a dorm room, or a prison, with all concrete walls and no warmth whatsover. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE!
- Virginia (10/5): - This is a hostel, so even if you have a private room with your own bathroom, the only amenities are soap, towels & toilet paper. The room and facilities are very clean, staff is helpful, and breakfast is great! It's in a working class neighborhood that seems quite safe; not much night life around the hostel. Bring your own shampoo and it's a good value for money.
- Heather (8/5): - Fantastic location; very practical as this is two apartments linked together with two kitchenettes, two lounges & two balconies giving lots of flexibility of living space as a group; decor is slightly in need of attention but we had a fabulous time and would definitely book this apartment again!
- Trushar (4/5): - Sound travels well throughout the building and into the room. We could hear revellers outside as well as the next door guests extremely clearly. So much so, that we did not sleep at all. It didn’t help that there was kind of junior school residential going on there too, which was loud up until around midnight. But even after that, loud talkers walking past the room would be very clear to hear. Not only did we hear talking, but creaking and slamming of doors etc. Three rooms are extremely basic to the point that you could say that they are one step up from a prison cell!! However, I need to keep in mind that this is a low priced hostel and not a basic hotel. I was also under the impression that there was a shuttle to the airport - being major a reason that I booked - only to find out at check in that there is no such shuttle and transport to the airport is mainly by taxi or 3 metro stops to T1. I have to say, though, the staff were excellent. They were helpful. I interacted with reception and the canteen - and assisted with my needs without hesitation. I suppose the room is good value for money, as long as you can put up with noise through the night!

- Jeffrey (6/5): - This is a hostel, not a hotel. I had a private room with a balcony, good bathroom, bunk beds TV, one towel . Do not expect to find cups or glasses, ice, temperature control, or any other amenities.
- Craig (8/5): Basic but practical overnight near airport - Youth hostel with spacious individual rooms. Close to airport but too far to walk, regular bus service nearby, or taxi costing €21. Institutional feel, bare rooms, with many school groups. Local area feels somewhat dodgy walking around at night. As had 5.50 flight, it served as decent functional overnight.

- Alejandro (8/5): - Very convenient option near the airport, good restaurants nearby; Rooms are ok as per the price, however they gave us a 4 twin bed room instead of a queen one; confortable beds though.
- Cheryl Susan (10/5): - Such a perfect location, near to airport, calm and beautiful, delicious and afforable meals, friendly staff and flexibility ot drop of our bags early. They gave us a breakfast picnic since we had to check out early to go to the airport. I wish i'd stayed here longer. Only con is that its a little far from the main attractiosn but the metro is nearby and it takes about 40 min to get to the city centre

- Jason (4/5): - If you're looking for somewhere quiet then this is not it. There were big groups of school age kids running up and down the corridor outside my room until 11pm, and also below my balcony. I had an early flight the following morning and I barely got 2 hours sleep. There's limited dining options too.

- Francisco (10/5): Excellent option to be near the airport - We loved that they have a really cheap dinner option. They gave us breakfast in a bag because we had to leave early. They conquered our hearts.

- Noelle (10/5): - This was perfect for our one night in Barcelona and close to the airport. It is very clean and I felt safe here. The staff was great about answering our questions and even called a Taxi for us when we had to leave for the airport at 3am. Very family friendly and a great price.

- Denise (10/5): - We loved that it was Eco green friendly!! Very clean, extremely basic but it was all we needed for a night to catch a flight early the next day. We got a private room. The shower was amazing, very modern! Would stay here again. They have a cafeteria that was decent to eat at because we arrived late and the restaurants were all closed.

- Matthew (10/5): Excellent, new, friendly, modern ensuite hostel - I think it must be brand new because everything was in perfect condition and spotless. We arrived at 3 am owing to much delayed flight with Irish low-cost carrier, but check in was fine with helpful doorman and receptionist. Breakfast was nice and simple and relaxed. We would definitely stay again.

- Justine (8/5): - Really cool and massive hostel that's also eco-friendly. The rooms are super spacious and it was a great place to stay overnight! There are lots of amenities like a pool, game rooms, toy room for kids, meeting rooms, etc. I was surprised by how big it was! Nice breakfast too! Staff were super friendly.

- Carlos (2/5): - Front desk employee very rude, we arrived at 4 AM bc of our flight, the first thing he said check out is at 11:00 AM so go to sleep soon. He smelled to have been drinking alcohol. Breakfast was horrible. Instant coffee margarine and so little alternatives. Room Was missing the bed sheets and towels. No soap shampoo or conditioner. Don’t book run away. Is better to pay a taxi to the city and book a real hotel than this place.
