- F8722WG_ (2/5): There are windows but they don't open! - The hotel is ideal except that the windows are locked and DON'T OPEN! Neither in the room nor in the bathroom. There is no ventilation, only the air conditioner. The receptionist told me that it's the hotel policy! They also couldn't send anyone to open the windows in my room because of... the hotel policy. The staff and the room were nice otherwise. So, if you need fresh air, I dont recommend this hotel. People can't breathe without oxygen, and the AC doesn't produce any oxygen. I had to check out a few hours after checking in because I realized I'll suffocate there if I stay all night. I asked for a refund (50% or at least 30%) but they refused. To the owner: If you'd like to give me a refund, you know my email address. My name's Olga.

It's very clean with very helpful staff from front desk to cleaning and parking! Great location for shopping outlets, and dining options. Nearby shopping complexes. Next to the Prom Hotel is a Big C Supermarket and Shopping Complex open until 10pm and also The Street Complex. So many places to go, from the Jodd Fair Night Market, walk a bit further to The Esplanade, Thailand Cultural Centre - MRT station is only a 4-minute walk. Then you reach Fortune Town IT Complex and across the road is Central Rama 9. Ratchadapisek Road entrance. From the hotel you can get a taxi to anywhere you want to go. This is a wonderful hotel base to stay for a trip, definitely recommend it.

- Stephen (8/5): Generally good but scope for improvement. - Good points were cleanliness, the comfortable bed, efficient AC, and the nearness to the MRT and a Big C supermarket and mall. Not so good were the difficulty in finding the hotel first time round, the monotonous breakfast, the lack of any English language or news channels on TV, and, for us, being given the smallest room on the floor (7303) despite booking in for 11 nights and booking months in advance. The hotel was clearly used by many large Chinese tour groups, and I suspect that all the best rooms were reserved for them.

I won't be back - Comfortable beds is the only positive thing I can say I was not told when booking that the pool would be closed for the full 6 days I was there. The breakfast was quite plain and only had 1 small change for the 6 days. Getting in and out of the hotel can be dangerous. The hotel opens on to a narrow street with very little room to get off the road. It is quite busy with cars and motorcycles going past.

Insects - 3 mozzies in my bathroom, and 1 cockroach The Hotel has expanded and now seems to be catering for larger tour groups, which brings them trade but lessens our experience due to the tour groups poor overall etiquette.

However, there are plenty of transports nearby to go around and decent shopping centres and food.

Good shower good hot water. Staff pleasant and helpful. Good dropoff area close to reception. Nice large reception lounge. Breakfast was stone cold both days, even though we were early, not good quality, very noisy patrons who shouted across tables. No bedside tables. Bathroom small but adequate. Woken at midnight by more noisy patrons in hallway who then proceeded to shift furniture in their room with loud bangs and crashes for half an hour. The noise factors as described will result in no further bookings here plus poor breakfast. We've stayed many times in the past and had no problems.

Instead, I saw them receiving free drink from the tuktuk driver and then we were charged more than twice compared to a Grab car if we went the same route. In my view, hotel employees to ensure guests are protected from overpriced transportation/servicea as this reflects badly on Thai tourism

- Jeannie (8/5): - I booked the triple room. The double bed was huge (king size) and the room was clean. However, the walls are very thin (can hear other guests talking). No slippers and no tissue paper in the room. The breakfast is ok and the staff replenishes the food. TV channels are Thai except for 2 - 3 channels in English, and difficulty adjusting volume. A short stay is ok; not suitable for long stay.

The hotel has 2 towers - the Old building and the new building. If you need a Luxury room, I advise you to take it at a good discount for 7 nights in Tower A. There is a good breakfast! The pool is present and constantly maintained in a clean condition! Nearby is a large Big C store!
