Nous avons signalé qu'il faisait extrêmement chaud dans la chambre et que la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. La seule chose qui a été faite a été d'installer un ventilateur avec ouverture de la mini fenêtre qui était en plus cassée, ce qui l'empêchait de rester ouverte. Aucun changement de chambre, ni geste commercial nous a été proposé sur notre réservation de 3 nuits. Seulement un soit disant geste sur notre prochaine visite, qui évidemment n'aura jamais lieu...
- Joost (8/5): Great family experience in beautiful hotel at the beach - The hotel is high end and very comfortable with a wide variety of facilities. The rooms are spacious (booked with sea view) and the beds comfortable, bathroom facilities great and the breakfast luxurious. Staff (reception, room service, breakfsat room) very friendly and certainly willing to accomodate requests. Proximity of the beach (directly accessible from the hotel) is of course an enormous bonus and the sunrise over the Yellow Sea a great experience. Quite pricy (at least in the summer season with very high occupancy rate). Enormous amount of guests leads to waiting times at breakfast before being seated. Advice on which time slot to choose to go to breakfast would be appreciated.

- Martin (8/5): - The hotel is located right by one of the most beautiful beaches in Qingdao – an absolutely stunning spot that makes it worth staying here. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. However, I was a bit disappointed that the hotel didn’t respond to my inquiry sent through booking.com, even after I followed up twice. Better communication would definitely improve the overall guest experience.

- Terence (8/5): - This is a great hotel. On the water. Close to many things. The room was great with a wonderful view. Buy the breakfast and get the club floor as there is a great buffet at both the breakfast restaurant and the club lounge. Only issue was that they don’t turn on the ac until later in the year (which seems to be the norm in China) so my room was often 26 or 27 degrees Celsius.

On the other hand, front-desk was mechanical-like response and I didn't feel heartwarming welcome from the staff. It might depend on the staff so I can't say that is the entire impression of the hotel. In the end, this hotel offers a good value for the price so I would go back again.
- Lin (8/5): Hotel with nice ocean view - I stayed at this hotel for a business trip, the hotel condition was very good, spacious and confortable. Hotel staff were fast and efficient. The only pity is that I visited in February, it would have been much nicer during summer time, since they have a direct access to the beach. Hopefully I can go back again in the summer.

Possibility to walk on the beach - additinal pleasure. Breakfast was probably on of the best I tried in China. Colleagues were not satisfied by restaurant - the staff was not happy with visitors in the evening and did not hesitate to express dissatisfaction with having to serve someone at 11 p.m.

- Dwayne (6/5): Below standard 5 star hotel. Service must improve! - The hotel is right on the beach so you get a stunning view all around. The lounge access was good and the staff in the lounge were exceptional as they were accommodating and attentive. The front desk manager is rude and obnoxious. He is not willing to listen to suggestions and he gave us the wrong information about the beach and swimming conditions which was exceptionally annoying as we booked this hotel because it has beach access and if we knew swimming at the beach would be a problem then I would have just booked a hotel closer to beach no1 which was excellent. If you do not know something, then rather be honest and say you are not able to comment on the matter as opposed to say it’s “government policy”. It’s infuriating when people share misinformation.
